I'm a fan mainly due to our waiter...Albert. This poor guy had to deal with our rowdy out of town bunch on a snowy Friday night. Thank goodness no one else was there! Albert was a good sport and went along with our dozen questions and random orders. We ordered the dinner for 5 and could have fed 10. The portions are huge and served HOT. They have several selections of beer and I think our group ordered them all, twice. No wine selection. I don't consider wine out of a box a selection or even something I am willing to try. Call me a wine snob but I just can't stomach it. The food itself was pretty good. I don't eat a lot of Chinese food so I don't have a lot to compare it too. The deep fried food was a bit greasy but then again, I don't eat much fried food either. We did enjoy ourselves and that was all that mattered considering we were snowed in, in a town without much in the way of fine dining choices or any dining choices to be honest. Can't say I'll be back since I don't think we will ever be visiting Sutherlin OR again.

I live 500 miles away not but we always try and make a stop here when we are back to visit. The best Pineapple Sweet and Sour Pork! I can't find another place where I am now that matches that taste. Also, their pink sauce for the Mar Far Chicken and Shrimp is delicious, it also goes well on the Chow Mein!

Our visit started out on a bad note when the waitress seated us next to a family with a screaming little boy of about 3 or 4 that they seemed oblivious too. We asked to move as far away as possible, which in a small place like this isn't all that far. Then they didn't have hot and sour soup. What's up with that. But with all that being said, the food was decent and the servings were huge. Not the best we've ever had by any means, but if I found myself in Sutherlin again and was hungry, I'd go back.

This place gets a bad wrap from most people I know, but they do have their fans. I like their shrimp and their curried rice. They also have decent mar far chicken and broccoli and beef.

Very nice surprise. Food was fresh tasting and well cooked. The general tso was hands down the best I've tried. Nice flavor and just the right amount of crisp without being soggy like most end up being. All the vegetables were crisp and had clean flavor. Everything was perfectly seasoned for my taste.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
