First off, I'm addicted to the flavor of food. I don't mean I love to eat it and yes, obviously, I need to eat to survive, but I mean it is like a drug addiction for me. Thank goodness I still get full, but when I get food that tastes good, I'll eat until I literally can't fit anymore even though I was full halfway through the meal. That being said, I have eaten a lot of food in my life and I spend a majority of my budget seeking out really amazing restaurants. I've gone to some of the most expensive restaurants in Oregon, Hawaii, and Washington, and other places in the US. I must say that Oregon has been lacking in the burger department for me. Don't get me wrong, there are a few places that have good burgers, but not amazing burgers. This place does!! This place is so amazing that I actually downloaded this app to write my first positive review ever. Even though I'd been to such amazing places, I never felt moved enough to write a review. Amazing sushi, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, steak, pizza, Vietnamese, etc are easy to food in Oregon, but burgers are difficult for some weird reason. My girlfriend and I are staying in Sunriver for the weekend. We live in Lake Oswego. When we drove up, my girlfriend was a little nervous. It's a hole in the wall place and no one was parked there. It looks slightly sketchy on the outside. I encouraged her to try it anyway. She was so thankful that I did! Don't let the outside and lack of patrons fool you. This place is a MUST! As the chef made the food, I could smell how incredible the flavor would be. When it finally came out, I literally couldn't even stop long enough to take a picture to post. I ate it in under 3 minutes because I couldn't put it down. I had the chunky blue cheese burger with the spuds and a side of beer cheese. Yes! BEER CHEESE! Please order it! Anyway, the burger was cooked perfectly, had lots of flavor, was super moist and the veges on it were fresh. The bacon was super crispy, just like it should be. The spuds were firm, yet crispy. The service was friendly. They aren't like a fancy restaurant where they check on you every 5 minutes, which I appreciated actually. It would've been super embarrassing to have her witness me demolish that burger. Bottom line: AMAZING FOOD! BEST BURGERS IN OREGON! (At least that I've tried and I actively seek out burger places since I couldn't find a good one before this).

Great burger and fantastic service. Plus one of the employees gave a lift to a local bike shop so I could fix my flat. You are awesome!!

We wanted to try Big Belly Burger because we read so many great reviews. It's a very small place and you can see the cook make the food. Waitress was pleasant but seem hurried , there were three tables on the restaurant. I ordered the jalepano burger My friend ordered a regular one and three bears I had a small lemonade. The food was ok. I can't say it's the best in Sunriver I preferred the burgers at the Sunriver brewery by far. But this place is no fuss or frills and not touristy which is a plus if you just want to get in eat and leave. Tab was about 44.00

We spotted Big Belly when we arrived in Sun River a week ago, and decided to come for our son's birthday dinner. Service was quick, and we ordered a sub, specifically without mayonnaise. When the sub arrived it looked wonderful but had gobs of mayonnaise. We tried to be sports and scrape it off, but there was just too much. Finally we asked nicely if they could remake it, but the manager/grill cook said no, "it says mayonnaise on the menu." He was really rude about it, and we felt the waitress was taking the fall for his mistake, so we tipped her and left. If you feel like a burger in Sun River, try the Brewhouse instead for fantastic service especially if anyone in your party has special food needs or allergies. If you want a 'local' experience, Big Belly fits the bill.

Disappointed in our first experience. Was a take out order for 3 burgers and a tri-tip dip. Burgers and fries had been prepared even though they hadn't thawed sufficient tri-tip to make a dip, and they were sold out by the time we arrived. When we arrived for pickup, we had to change the order to another burger and fries. So one person had hot food, while three had cold burgers and soggy fries. Poor planning by the cook. Also, instead of getting mayo to put on burgers, we were given ranch dressing. Jalapeños were left off one burger, and pickles were on it instead. Same burger was supposed to be well done but was not. Unlikely that we will return. Too many sloppy mistakes made.

We are always looking a great burger and awesome experience. We went to BB today for the first time. Immediately greeted by someone who cares and offered all options including a full bar. We each ordered a classic burger, mine with jalapeños and cheese. My partner had tots on the side and I just had extra tomatoes. No issues with special requests. Real hand formed burger, fresh toppings, and awesome sauces. Thought the bun could be a tad more fresh but it was Sunday so maybe hard to accommodate. Prices are very fair and much less than you will pay in the resort. Just hope we can keep them going year round as has been so difficult for start ups in Sunriver. Bravo!!! We will be back!!!!

Big turnaround with new owners, awesome bloody Mary's and the new management seem to be very wholesome and give a damn about the product they are putting out.

This is a funky little place in the Sunriver Business Park. You order at the counter, then they bring the food to you when it's ready. The food is really good, basic lunch stuff with sodas, beer and wine. Service was as quick as can be expected when the food is made-to-order. I hope they do well because it's just the kind of out-of-the-way place you like to find.

Great burgers Slow service. We walked in with a party of 14 and it overwhelmed this place and the single waitress that was working. The thing that really got me is that there were 4 other people working there that could of pitched in and helped her out to clear tables and get drinks for our party, but they stood in the back doing very little. From start to finish it took us 1 hour to get out of there. Would not recommend this place for large parties over 4. I did have the mushroom swiss burger and fries which was really good. As I am writing this 1 person in our group just got sick and got sent to the hospital for a possible peanut allergy even though we asked if they used peanut oil. Not sure if it was bad food or if they actually are having a reaction to the oil.
