Review from my boyfriend, the pizza lover: It was my first visit to MOD. I didn't feel like driving down the road to Bellagios..The service was decent, as one of the guys greeted me and made small talk. But the most important part, the food, was not that great. First off, I was starving but I didn't even finish my pizza. I like the idea of double crust (the Mega pizza) but it seriously tastes like 2 tortillas or communion bread pieces. Also the pizza was burnt at the bottom. I understand that it's wood fired pizza but is it asking for too much to not have it burned? I've been to several different places that cook pizzas fast (Blast Pizza in Sacramento, CA is perfect if you can find your way down there) and it's never been burned at all on the bottom with the center of the top of the pizza being cold. I'm glad I know now not to come here... Next time I'll make the trip to drive somewhere better

Excellent options and healthy choices, veru friendly service. I do wish they had thicker crust.

Ok, so when you live out in Suburbia you have pretty limited food choices. Out here in Sherwood we have really 3 choices for pizza so this adds a 4th. I've been here a couple of times and the things that I like: - it's priced well - it's designed so that everyone can get what they want as you add toppings to individual or slightly larger pizzas (think of a subway style line). This allows less fighting about what to get on the pizza and since it's priced well, it works well. - I have taken 5 of my 6 family members here and gotten pizza that everyone wants for $25 (that's 2 adults and 3 kids in grade school). I still had a couple of slices left over as well. It's new so it gets BUSY. I was here last night and thought ahead so I ordered online and I'm glad I did as the line was to the door the whole time I was inside. Even ordering online I had to wait a little bit because I think they're still figuring out their flow but the girl helping me was really apologetic and gave me a coupon for a free pizza for having to wait a few minutes beyond when my pizza was done so +1 for friendly customer service too. Happy experience, the kids love it. It's not gourmet pizza but I think it tastes good, is cooked quickly (and to order), and the service has so far been great. NO complaints after a few visits.

Quick Service, happy employees and good food. What else could you ask for? The Marion blackberry lemonade is amazing too!

This place was highly recommended, so we decided to give this place a try. We're glad we did because we loved the customer service, atmosphere, and pizza. We all ordered our own personal pizza's and could add whatever toppings we wanted at no extra charge. Very reasonably priced. We will definitely return. Thank you for the hospitality.

Checked out MOD pizza for the first time tonight and had a great experience. Terrific customer service. Excellent pizza, cooked fresh in the brick-oven. Small selection of beers on tap. Cool industrial feel. Will be eating here probably more than I should.

My least favorite of the three "fast food" pizza chains, it is still a solid choice. It is my kids favorite, although they can't tell me why (I think it is just because they want to disagree with me). I don't think it is THE BEST pizza I have ever had nor is it the worst and if you want pizza in Sherwood in 10 minutes or so it is your only choice, so there is that. If you have extra time and don't mind the drive, I would head to Pizzasmith for better ingredients and locally owned and sourced ingredients or Pieology for a crispy crust, both better tasting pizza in my opinion.

Love love love this place! Of all the new quick service pizza chains, Mod is my favorite. Their crust is on point even though so of the other chains have a wider selection of toppings. I almost always do a create your own with veggies and roasted garlic (the best!). The milkshakes here are also phenomenal! The coffee one was amazing. The service and staff here is also above par. So friendly every time. The place is always clean and the wait is never long. Whenever I want pizza on the quick this is the place I go!

This place lived up to the hype and then some. Wow. Amazing! Best pizza I've had in the area. Love that I can get as many toppings as I want without it costing extra. The vibe is really chill, too, which is right up my alley. Huge selection of toppings, and they even give you the option of having a sauce drizzled on after it's done cooking (the Sri-Rancha is top notch. You have to try it at least once!). The garlic strips are pretty meh. They just take a pizza crust and top it with butter followed by chopped garlic. Haven't tried the deserts yet- but I plan to! I think my only real complaint is that this location plays the music loud. It can be hard to hear the employees when picking your toppings. Overall, I love this place! I've gone there 3 times since it opened, and I plan to go more!

This place is amazing! We've been several times and have always had a great experience. I love that you can customize your pizza because my husband and I like different pizza sauces and toppings. My favorite is the Valencia that they offer. Their Marionberry Lemonade is the best!

I like pizza. All kinds, but this pizza was gross. It was just like a frozen pizza with the square sized meats! I kid you not. And the crusts were thin and flimsy. I had a stomach ache after eating my pizza... Couldn't finish it because it was gross. With such a cool new building and location, I was sad that the pizza was so bad and expensive. When will we get a decent pizza joint around here?!

Bring cash for a tip!!! The staff here is so friendly and attentive. Really a cool group of people who obviously enjoy their jobs. Crushed ice, old timey sodas, beer and wine options and fast, delicious, customized pizzas, what's not to love about this place? The staff keep clean and upbeat, toppings are fresh... I've been here 5+ times as well as a bunch of online orders and never been let down in any way. Thank you MOD! 5 Stars! One little tip, try the gf crust! Its as good if not better than the regular crust.

I was looking forward to trying MOD Pizza since they have a gluten free crust option. I was shocked when I requested gluten free and the crust was actually larger than their largest regular pizza, this never happens. The pizza is a personal size but on the larger size so I was stuffed after eating half. My husband was very hungry and ate his whole pizza. One thing to note, if you are Celiac I would not recommend trying MOD as it was very apparent they only provide the GF crust and all else is the same. There is way too much cross-contamination for your pizza to not end up containing a bit of gluten. What I liked was that they had a wall of pizza combination suggestions or you can choose your own toppings. What's great is that you can it 1 or 15 toppings and it's all the same cost. Each topping they don't put too much on so next time I'm going to ask for more of some items. They do serve soda, beer on tap, and iced tea or lemonade but we went for just water. The pizza was then cooked and ready in less than 5 minutes. When we walked in the door there was a line to the door but I was pleasantly surprised that it moved very quickly. From the moment we walked in the door until we got our pizza took about 15 minutes. The pizza had a thinner crust that wasn't soggy or strange tasting. Mine had a bit of burn on the bottom but I actually like that so it was okay. I thought it was delicious and would definitely come again. For seating, there are a couple tables up front and then high top tables and stools in the middle. We had a baby with us so ended up sitting at the 20 person table at the back. There is seating for 30+ outside but the weather was too cold for that. I can see in the summer this will be a great place to sit.

I really like this place, the pizza is awesome tho I am a bit more partial to the Pieology Pizza chain. That being said, you can't miss getting pizza at MOD and the service is always spot on. Try it!

Tried MOD pizza for the first time today. The customer service and atmosphere was great. The pizza is ok, I've had way better pizza. But this is a great place to have a good time with friends and family.

Have been once. Pizza quality was average for artisan pie. Crust was overlooked/burned. Creativity was lacking. I recommend Pieology over Mod for this kind of pizza. Likely will not return. Service was good though.

Crust for me makes a pizza. I was disappointed. Reminds me of an undercooked frozen pizza. Will not return.

The staff at this location is awesome. I work in sherwood and visit this establishment often. Everything that I have come in they always great me and call me by my name. I have grown to really enjoy coming to this place to get my lunch and sometimes I come on my days off. Chase, Kayla, Sam, Sydney, Michael, Jeremiah, and Jesus are the ones that normally help me when I come in. I love that you can walk into this place and be greater by one of them with a smile and hi. The food always taste great and the one thing that I like about coming here is that they encourage me to try new things. Definitely a place to bring friends and family and I will keep coming here for my lunches. Thanks to the team at sherwood mod pizza for always treating me so well.

I have had MOD Pizza before three times. I was so glad to hear about one opening in Sherwood. We figured they would be busy so we ordered dinner via their online ordering link. Registering and navigating the ordering prompts was a snap. We were able to order our pizzas, salads and desert, then pay for them to pick up at a specified time. How easy is that?! Pizzas were ready to go in when we picked them up and our order was ready in a flash. Pizzas were very good for the fast pizza style format. I had the Dillon James - - Yummy! I am watching what I eat, so I had to salivate watching my wife and daughter eat their dessert pizza. They exceeded our expectations with the ordering, customer service and the flavors. Good job MOD Pizza and welcome to the neighborhood!

Totally impressed with this place. Pizza was amazing. Not many times I get to have my own personal pizza with MY choices. Can I eat here two days in a row? Can't wait till summer when the doors get rolled up... summer dinner on the patio will be awesome with a cold brew! Most def will be a staple for my family.

Just picked up my first Mod Pizza. I am not impressed. The order took quite a long while especially compared to similar establishments. Also, I ordered pizza with sausage. There is no sausage on my pizza.

It's hard to go wrong with a create-your-own-pizza restaurant, as far as I'm concerned. It gets the people going! The pizzas are delicious. The ingredients always look and taste fresh, the employees are upbeat and friendly, and the lemonades are really good, too! They have milkshakes... I have yet to try one because I usually feel bad enough about the pizza. I have been there during a rush and waited about 30 minutes, but the line was literally out the door. I eat here probably once a week... So I guess I'm a regular! I will say that I wish the nutrition information was a little different... It would be nice if it was more like Subway, where you can go online and "Create" your pizza and it tells you the exact info for your creation. This is more an issue with corporate than this location, tho. Been here before, I'll be here again, and I highly recommend!

I dont get why some people don't like this place. you walk in, choose what YOU want on the pizza, and pay one price, no matter how much you customize the pizza the price remains the same and its prepared right in front of you not behind closed doors . I guess some people don't like choice? I don't know... the dining area is a little on the small size, but they have outdoor seating on nice days. the made-in-house teas and lemonades are really good and from what they told me, they use real cane sugar with it and its made fresh each morning. so thats the plus. The caramelized pear tea and lemonade are my favorite there. the pizza is cooked in a fire oven and always comes out super hot. The crust is thin, but thats what makes it cook so fast. I usually order the dillion james but add the "supreme" toppings plus a few extras like seasonings. just remember, if you don't like the pizza, blame yourself. you choose the toppings. They only made what you ordered.

  • Michael O.

The hype was dead accurate. This is a great place and a really fresh take on pizza. One price and you can choose any or all of the topping available. The model is similar to Chipotle but with pizza. The ingredients are fresh. The meats are of high quality and the crust is thin and crispy. Their are tons of sauce, cheese and topping choices. The lemonades are awesome. We ordered 4 different pizzas and they hit a homerun with all four. My family loves this place and we will visit as often as possible.

    (4)
  • Jennifer L.

Yum! This is good pizza. I love the freedom to have whatever you want. I think next time I will see if I can have it well done so the crust is a little more crispy. Fresh ingredients, really friendly staff. I will be back for sure!

First time to Mod and it was great! I had a mod pizza salad with spicy sausage, bacon, gorgonzola, garlic cloves, red onion, black olives, parmesean and Bleu cheese dressing. So great! The BBQ chicken pizza was great too. My kids loved the Marion berry lemonade. We will definitely go back!

Been to A few MOD pizzas, and I have to say, this one is one of my favorites! The staff is super friendly, energetic, and welcoming. One of the worst experiences you can have in a restaurant is horrible customer service, and leaving with the feeling that you were burdening someone with doing their job, but not here! The staff will take the time to explain the pizzas, answer your questions, and make sure you leave happy! They are awesome. And the pizza...well, it's awesome, too! The concept is pizza on demand...and that's exactly what you get. Your choice of everything from start to finish...then wood-fired to perfection. Whether you're looking for a quick bite to eat, or looking to spend some quality time with the fam, this place won't let you down.

Tried MOD Pizza for the first time tonight at their newest location in Sherwood. This pizza was VERY good! I'm a big fan of thin crispy/chewy crust pizza and they do it very well. The toppings were very fresh and the prices are really reasonable. The service and staff were both great. They were very busy given this was their grand opening so I overlooked a small mistake on a topping for one of our pizzas and still gave them well deserved 5 stars. I really hope they can keep the high quality and service consistent, because if they do, they will have absolutely NO competition in this area!

Tigard and Sherwood used to be a wasteland when it comes to good pizza -- no longer. MOD Pizza saves the day. Either you can order one of their excellent, thin-crust pizzas from a menu, or watch them put on exactly what you want. These personal pizzas really fit the bill. There is a variety of sauces in case someone wants pesto and someone else wants tomato. There are salad pizzas too. If that's not enough, great milk shakes. Nice people, great customer service and you'll definitely be coming back.

Everytime we come to MODS we are never disappointed!!! I would give them more than 5 stars if there were more available. Date Night for under $20, can't beat it!!!

Our new favorite sherwood pizza destination! It's really one of the only good things about the Walmart "situation". Pizza is fab, customer serve is great, salads are fresh and flavorful. If you're looking for pan tossed crust... This is not the place for you, but if you enjoy unique topping combos and fresh ingredients on a thin crispy crust, then you have found your spot! Good stuff

All I have to say is that we loooove Mod pizza! Jeremiah and the whole crew there are simply the best. They know me when I walk in, have great smiles and attitudes. Seriously guy's, if you like pizza, your going to love pizza after the Mod experience!

This is a new restaurant in Sherwood and I had never been to any of the other locations. If I had perhaps I would have been prepared for the size of the pies. They are SMALL. The double crust on the MOD pies doesn't exactly make up for the paltry radius. The actual pizza was great and I liked the toppings and options a lot. I will definitely order from here again, I'll just make sure to buy an extra pizza or two for the family.

Great food and friendly. The staff member didn't listen to me and put two wrong toppings on but the food is very good.

Good stuff

Loved going here the other day (Sunday). It was great to be able to put on as much as toppings as you want. Love that. I also love the small pizza size and the salads are wonderful.

Well, the restaurant apologized on the very second day and offered me a coupon. I felt so much better and would love to give another shot.

Have been once. Pizza quality was average for artisan pie. Crust was overlooked/burned. Creativity was lacking. I recommend Pieology over Mod for this kind of pizza. Likely will not return. Service was good though.

Crust for me makes a pizza. I was disappointed. Reminds me of an undercooked frozen pizza. Will not return.

This is like Chipotle only for pizza. The staff were friendly, the place was clean, prices were decent and food was good. We'll be back
