This place is amazing! Nice calming atmosphere and the staff is extremely friendly. Not to mention, the food is amazing! I pulled up right before they opened and the staff opened the door to let me in and order :) luckily I love right down the street so I think I may have found my Pho to go place!

They have a nicely laid out menu, clean and modern interior and nice help. I've eaten here a few times and definitely recommend the house special - lemon grass chili chicken - flavorful yet soothing! The sauce is divine - makes the dish. Portions aren't large, but of a reasonable size and price (about 8-9 bucks). Their vermicelli noodles add a lovely cool element to their bowls (also available with rice in place of noodles). Located in the parking lot of Safeway - it's super easy to find and even easier to enjoy.

This is my favorite Vietnamese food place. Every dish is home made quality. Salad rolls are huge. Sandwiches and combos are good size. Highly recommend.

I have been to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants and this one by far is my favorite. They use fresh ingredients and provide excellent service. Everything we ordered had amazing flavors!

Mediocre food in a strip-mall setting. For the uninspired setting, the decor and ambiance are actually pretty good -- nice clean floor, good lighting, and nice music. The food, however, is positively mediocre. The broccoli that accompanied my meal was clearly frozen and re-steamed. The chicken was extraordinarily salty.

Good bahn mi sandwiches. I have had the beef and the chicken bahn mi. Bread is perfect and that crusty cuban sandwich style of baguette. I want to have some of their noodle dishes. I have had the wonton noodle soup for takeout and it was just ok. The noodles clumped a little and formed together, but the Wontons were pretty good. Prices are extremely reasonable and the menu has a good variety of items. Give them a try if you are in the Sherwood area.

The help here was grouchy not just to me but my girlfriend, her mom and the poor old couple in line behind us at the counter. The decor and presentation are very nice and the food is decent.

Walking in we stood by the door for a few minutes looking around at the nice décor and in that moment assuming we will be greeted by a hostess and seated then we hear a friendly voice say to order at the counter........ Oh!? Didn't quite expect that. Even though it was our first time I know I wanted Pho. My husband ordered the combination listed under the column ' Grilled Noodles and Rice Bowls '. We are not familiar with this type of cuisine but this Grilled Noodle Bowl dish was cold. The meat was somewhat lukewarm. It was pretty much a big salad with cold rice noodles and vegetables.. I later asked about the dish . I was given a line about how quickly the meat cools off after being grilled........Huh?........ so from the kitchen, where the meat just came off the sizzling grill, to lukewarm in the 30 feet to our table. I'm not buying that..........oh, by the way I owned a restaurant so good try. She did suggest the house specialty for a hot stir fry dish..........too late........ but these other dishes should not be called Grilled Noodles because they are not and it is very misleading !! We were offered another dish of the same kind but my husband quickly said no. My Beef Pho was good and that is about it. Not quite worth the price especially since there is no table service. All the staff was eating out in the dining room enjoying each others company. We ended up with empty water glasses and I had to go ask for a to-go container.

If you think this is what authentic food from Vietnam taste like then you are being fooled . I'm giving this resteraunt one star instead of zero because the people who worked there seem to be nice and the service was good. How ever the food that was served to us was very disappointing compared to other places that we have tried and liked. The green papaya salad that my girlfriend ordered I'm pretty sure it wasn't even papaya rather Daikon radish that was shredded to look like papaya then drowned in vinger with a tasty back hint of soap . My sad version of bun Bo huê had no banana flower on the side and they don't even offer house made chilli oil . I've felt scammed before but this place just makes me flat out sad !! ... will never return

Was looking for lunch wile driving around today. Checked the app for Pho and this place came up. OMGOSH am I happy it did. I had Lemongrass tofu bowl (I think that is what it was called) and it was awesome. The tofu was great. I will return many times to try more of the menu. I am kinda new to Pho/Vietnamese and I love the veggies.

I'm only giving it a 2 for my experience with the atmosphere, not for their food. Decor is beautiful and the food is delicious. However, all of those aren't as appealing when it's 95 degrees outside and there's no A/C inside the restaurant. We had to take our food to-go because it was unbearable.

I've been eating here at least once per week for almost a year. It's great to have some variety here in Sherwood! I've eaten a lot of pho in my life, from all over the country. Bamboo does a perfectly acceptable job for being located in Sherwood. You have to accept that this restaurant caters to Sherwood. For example, if you order a combo bowl ("super bowl") don't expect any tendon or tripe (most people here would probably pick it out and not eat it). The nicest thing is that I can substitute noodles for fresh veggies, which I do quite often if I want to limit my carbs. They know their market, and I'm fine with that. It's not really worth complaining about the price, $8.50 for a bowl instead of $7.50 at comparable restaurants doesn't make any difference to me. It will cost me more in gasoline to go somewhere less expensive. Finally, service is very friendly. The owners and workers always have a smile.

It's truly wonderful to find yourself in the burbs and still be able to get a good solid bowl of pho! The broth is rich and flavorful, dotted with silky pools of beef fat. At a table of five people, we had 4 different soups and broths. Each with a distinct taste that invites you to take another bite. The spicy beef and lemongrass soup offers a nice balance of beef to refreshing lemongrass flavors. The turmeric soup with wide, flat noodles, has an earthy flavor with the sweetness of seafood. If you are a texture person, this is the soup for you, it's got all the kit in its kaboodle. The wonton soup had a very pleasant clear broth with plump wontons and lots of fresh veg. The standard beef pho has that perfect spiced meaty flavor that can't be beat. The food is thoughtfully presented, always a big plus in my book! The service here is superb. Our waiter took the time to check back often, get extras for our food, and package up leftovers for us. A+! The decor is beautiful as well and clean.

The service here is great and the food to die for! I have gone for lunch and dinner and try anything that sounds good. You can never go wrong here. Unfortunately the boba or bubble tea as its called here is not up to par with the yummy boba you can get in Los Angeles China town.

Frenetic at lunch, be prepared for waits and mayhem. The food is very good, but a little too cute for my Asian tastes. Feels a touch processed . It's a solid choice but not particularly remarkable.

I've found here the best mango salad and sauté tofu @ decent price. I still want to try other mouth watering vegetarian items on the menu. The service is very efficient and the employees are very courteous.

Bamboo is at best a two star eatery. Like its sister restaurant in Tanasbourne the food is mediocre and the price are too high. Bamboo is immaculately clean, bright and open but that's the best I can say about it. First, you order at a counter. This would be fine but the prices should reflect the lack of full table service but they don't. I've had better pho at hole in the wall restaurants with full service at lower prices. Second, they have a very limited condiment selection. Most Vietnamese restaurants have some form of sriracha sauce, chile sauce, hot oil and often hot peppers. Bamboo only has a generic form of sriracha sauce. No rooster here. Ok, you say, that doesn't deserve a two star rating and I agree. If my only complaint was no table service and limited condiments I'd agree. But the food is mediocre as well. I ordered fresh salad rolls to go with my classic beef pho and the person that I was eating with ordered the honey glazed pork sandwich. Note I said sandwich not binh minh. They call it a sandwich and that is what it is. The salad rolls are fresh and obviously made to order. But it's the first salad roll that I've ever had with what appears to be a small piece of deep fried won ton wrapper in it. Their rolls have a crunchy ingredient that is just strange in a salad roll. That said the salad rolls are quite tasty. The salad rolls are also very eye appealing but at a cost. The rolls are loosely rolled and the big lettuce leaves make the rolls look a lot larger than they really are. I would say that the actual rolls are 25-30% smaller that most of the rolls other Vietnamese restaurants. At $5.50 for two rolls I'd like the rolls to be larger. But to me the pho is the biggest sin. To start the broth is very thin. The broth isn't any better than the pho starter that you can buy at many grocery stores in the Portland area. I always order pho with all the nasty bits. Here your choice is then slicer leansteak(sic), brisket and beef meatballs, no tripe or tendon. For me it's not pho without a deep flavorful broth, tripe and tendon. The sandwich also wasn't very authentic. The bun looked like it came from the Safeway across the parking lot. Unlike the thin crusty roll that you associate with a binh minh sandwich you get a roll that is much thicker and chewy without that crispness that you expect. Bamboo may have the best pho in Sherwood, according to other reviews, but it's definitely not as good as what you can get in Beaverton or Portland. Next time I'm in Sherwood and want some Asian food I'll go to Sawatdee Thai across the parking lot from Bamboo. They don't have pho but they have a great larb and great salad rolls for only $4.00. Not to mention a full assortment of condiments.

Came for take out, ordered the combo vermecil noodles. They were yummy! Definitely one of my favorite dishes on the menu.

Order at the counter. Good decor. Average service. Empty water the whole time when there was no-one there. Pho was good. Pretty expensive for pho. Will come back if I'm in sherwood. Saw that people didn't like to take their drinks. With those prices I would expect a little more service

I love all types of food and embarrassed to admit I had never tried Vietnamese. I wanted Thai but the local restaurant wasn't open early so my daughter and I went to Bamboo. I was surprised at everything--the menu is extensive as is the food preparation. The atmosphere is comfortable--relaxed, tastefully done. The service was also excellent.

The dining room at Bamboo Grill is quite tasteful... in two ways. The decor is very attractive and it's always spotless. The dining room is also full of tasty Vietnamese food. The service is attentive. The food is good, The Pho is always a standard for Vietnamese restaurants. The Pho here is good, but not great. It lacks the depth of flavor that great Pho gets from hours and hours of slow simmering. I've also found a bit more anise in it than I'm used to. But, it's not too salty and has good flavor. The Bihn Mi are good, but fall short of Best Baguette (which is, of course, upwards of a half-hour's drive away). The salad rolls are good with lots of flavorful fresh basil. The Salt and Pepper Squid is good. Certainly, Bamboo Grill is a good addition to Sherwood.

I love this place! The Chicken Pho is my favorite and the tofu salad rolls. They put a bit of crunch in their salad rolls, which, for me, is so tasty. It is better to eat the food there as you have that great bowl with all the trimmings, but it is still good when you take it to go. I pick up from here all the time and the salad rolls are a great item to go and just have those for lunch or dinner.

Very inconvenient for bubble tea... I've stopped in now with my boyfriend on two different occasions asking for a bubble tea, and every time they are out of the ingredients to make it. Just seems unprofessional to me.

Eat here now!!!!!!! What this restaurant lacks in interior style, it more than makes up for in flavor. Vietnamese food flavors are subtle and Bamboo has done this perfectly. The Salad Rolls, Pho and grilled beef with noodles are a revelation for Sherwood. Go now and plan to stop by tomorrow as well.

Great décor, nice staff and good Pho. It isn't the best I've ever had. But its very good and certainly the best I've had in the area.

Clean, friendly staff, very good food, always fresh and the taste is consistent, unlike other Pho places I've been to.

Second time eating here and encountered the same issue. Resturant is not clean... This is very disappointing given the food was quite tasty! Unfortunately, I am not willing to risk mine or my families' health. Kitchen was visibly dirty, dining area is dirty and the restrooms were terribly dirty. If they ever learn to clean this could be a nice little eatery.

I have never eaten Vietnamese before. The food was very good and the portions were huge. My 10yo daughter who is very picky ordered the chicken pho and loved it.

First time here, I like there location in Tualatin and thought we would try this one. It's good not the best pho but it's good for the location it's in.

I have loved Bamboo since they opened in Sherwood. Today was my first frustrating day with them. I sent my husband to pick up lunch - I wanted Vegetarian Pho. When my husband brought it back he informed me they have no tofu. They loaded it with more veggies. Worse than not having a major ingredient for my soup, they didn't include my favorite part - bamboo shoots, basil, jalepeno and hoisin sauce. I was able to go back and get it, but they seemed disorganized. I will of course give them another chance, but hoping it goes better next time

Had the seafood lemongrass noodle soup. Pretty good. Most of all I love the decor and ambiance as well as the service. Will return. Oh. Not too far of a drive from home. Kudos!

This place is solidly mediocre. It is very clean and new and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I got the chicken phô and the fresh spring rolls. The rolls were not wrapped tightly although everything in them was fresh. The peanut sauce was decent, although not homemade and rather thin and lacking depth of flavor. This place uses chicken breast, which in its own right sounds good, but you can't cook chicken breast in a liquid like this as it becomes stringy an tough....and that is what happened here. The broth itself was weak and not very flavorful. I've said a lot of negative things here, but I have a lot of experience with a whole range of phô as it is one of my favorites. This is incredibly Americanized and watered down. It's fine in a pinch and for anyone who is new to the world of phô, but a disappointment to those who have had GOOD phô. I will return because the ingredients are very fresh and it is close to my house, but the food was middle-of-the-road.

My family and I love this place. My husband always orders the Pho, I get the honey glazed chicken and my kids get shrimp and chicken skewers. Food is always fresh and service is great. Every family has drama, I don't really see how that is relevant. Calling a Vietnamese restaurant Bamboo isn't exactly a stretch. Good food, great atmosphere, and great service, that's what matters.

Another wonderful meal at Bamboo. For a Friday night at 6 it wasn't horribly packed. Food was very good. I the pho ga. It was very flavorful and I could not stop sucking down the delicious broth. I don't typically order appetizers but we did tonight. We had the lobster wontons and they were really good. Service was slow, as it typically is here. I don't necessarily mind unless we are rushed for time. I always take into account that if we sit down and eat it will take longer than other places. If your not in a hurry then this is the place to go.

I stopped here because I was in the parking lot dropping of a client. I asked another arriving party what was good for a first timer. He said he always gets the bubble tea. I did not order one but they looked frosty and delicious. I ordered the coconut curry with choice of protein (shrimp), and it was amazing. Nice creamy broth of yellow curry, spicy enough but not too hot and shredded coconut mixed in for texture. It came in a large bowl with broccoli, onion, carrot and sweet potato. A large portion of jasmine rice on the side. Since I love salad rolls I ordered the summer shrimp variety. It comes with four portions and a generous amount of peanut sauce. The sauce was wonderful but the rolls were a little light on filling compared to others I've tried. They had good fresh flavor. I paid 2.90 for an unsweetened tropical tea which tastes like peach tea you can brew at home for a fraction of the cost. On the upside it tastes great especially for a drink with no sugar. The restaurant was clean, casual yet nice enough I would take a business associate or client. For an app, main dish and a 3 dollar drink I paid 15.00 for lunch. In my opinion this was a fair price for table service quality food in a fast food setting.
