Best Chinese food between McMinnville and Lincoln City. Great little place with friendly service. Retro restaurant style like 80s all original - brings back memories of the 80s. It's a little outback logger town style restaurant. Fair prices, large menu, take out, local delivery and good portions.

The food here is fabulous! Best tasting BBQ pork of any place I have ever been. The atmosphere needs a little work but the staff is friendly. The food portions are large and at great prices. I recommend choosing from the pick 2, 3, or 4 menu sections to save some money. Or chose from their excellently priced lunch menu or their great specials that are written daily on a white board near the front door. I have never been unsatisfied with the food here. If you have a favorite from another Chinese place, that isn't a house special, I recommend trying it here. You will likely love it more. Also, crab puffs! Amazing!

Can I tell you how much I loved this place. This place is in a small town so it's nothing fancy for sure. However, I ordered the broccoli chicken and had extra vegetables on the side for $5.75. I, of course, had many left to take home. All the portions were sizable and very tasty. The decor was of a small town place and this had an attached full bar so you could get any kind of drink you wanted. I stuck with the hot tea but others in my party got cocktails and such. I would steer clear of the bar because of the cigarette smoke and such and it, too, has the small town flavor which means the town regulars hang there.

I have lived all over the country and for this level of chinese restaurant, meaning not fine dining, it's the only chinese restaurant i will eat at. mandarin chicken is the BEST.

I really want to like Benny Huie's but just don't feel comfortable there. Maybe it's the Ugly Red Painted Exterior or the fact that it's behind a really shoddy bar where Rock n Roll wanna be bands play Friday and Saturday night or maybe it's the diner like seating inside or the fact that that every dish appears the same or includes Canned Peas in it's Spicy Chicken Dish or the fact that the restaurant was closed due to health violations. You be the judge. Maybe you'll like it. But I'm not going back.

Last time we went, the place was sticky and coated with dust. They hadn't cleaned the dining room for a few weeks easy. She had to wipe down the table after seating us and proceeded to wipe it all over our laps. There were sticky menus and when my husband grabbed the trivia book, he had to put it back and go wash his hands. The wall at our booth had sauce splattered on it that clearly had been there for days and my son wrote his name in the thick dust at the top of the partition wall. We would have left but the kids really wanted to eat there. When she came to take out order we asked about substitutions that we had been able to make in the past and were told we could not, with a "No" Not in anyway polite, but ok. The food came after 30 minutes and was barely warm. She never came to ask how it was, probably afraid to ask, and when asked for more tea, she came by 10 minutes later and we had to ask again before she brought it. The next day we were all ill. We won't be back. It's sad because it used to be a fairly good place. Fresh tasting ingredients and friendly service. I'm not sure what has happened but somebody better wake up.
