This place is perfect for a prolonged stay... Driving down the wonderful OR portion of Highway 101, we stayed one night at this beautiful place. It was very clean, inviting, and comfortable. This comfort and the fully equipped kitchenette had us contemplating staying there longer but alas our desire to see more of the Oregon coast overrode a longer stay. We will be back. Friends traveling there later this month have been advised to stay here.

The boyfriend and Idea decided to take a last minute trip to Seaside and were looking for somewhere to stay. Growing up, Seaside was always a day trip so I didn't know offhand a lot of places to stay. I thought of the Oceanfront Shilo inn, but I always remembered it as being a bit rundown now. During the drive from Portland, I was using my phone to look up some recommendations. Checked out Yelp and looked at Trip Advisor. Weiss' was listed at number one on Trip Advisor AND it was available for the same evening! Quickly made a reservation online, paying with a credit card. Arrived at the Paradise Suites and loved that it was so close to downtown and the main area of Seaside. Also close to Safeway and a couple of other places if needed. We met Donna in the check-in area. We chatted with Donna for about 10-5 minutes, telling her how we found the hotel, where we were from, what we planned to do in town; etc. She let us know about her property and told us about some past guests and what they liked and enjoyed. She even gave a few ideas about where to eat for dinner. Finally, she showed us to our room letting us choose between 2 available. The room itself was like a small apartment and was great. Living room, dining area, fully stocked kitchen with a few snacks, bathroom with shower only and a bedroom with queen sized bed. Very cute and functional. I loved that the kitchen had a full sized fridge, microwave, stove and all the cooking utensils/pots/pans/dishes/silverware that we might need. There is even a gas BBQ that we were welcome to use and share with the other 3 units. Only drawbacks that I could think of: They do not allow children. I did not even know that a hotel could make that distinction legality wise, but as we didn't have kids; it didn't bother me. The units are small, but I think you could fit 2 adults and a child or two if they don't mind sleeping on the couch or camping out on the floor. Also, Donna is a talker. If you're just the kind of person who wants to get to your room as soon as possible and relax, just stopping at the front desk to get your key and sign your charge slip; this isn't the place for you. Donna will treat you like family. She wants to know how you're doing and actually have a conversation with you. This is NOT a negative in my opinion but some people might not be up for this.

I stayed here for two nights while in the area on business. It was excellent. Clean, quiet, nice amenities such as complimentary snacks. The rooms are suites with living room, kitchen, dining area, bedroom and bathroom. Very friendly proprietor with helpful suggestions on things to do, best restaurants, etc. It is located in a quiet neighborhood 3 or 4 block's stroll to either the beach or to downtown. And the rates were surprisingly much less expensive than the various other hotels in Seaside that I investigated. If I'm in Seaside again, Weiss will be my first choice.

My husband and I decided fairly last minute to take a trip out to Seaside for our anniversary. We happened upon this lovely place to stay online and happily booked. Upon our arrival we were immediately checked in and shown to out suite. We were given advice on restaurants in the area (I reviewed our favorite, Firehouse Grill) and were pleased with her suggestions. The units are very cozy, there was a fully stocked kitchen that luckily even had a wine bottle opener as we forgot ours at home. We were on the end unit nearest the road but had no trouble with road noise, even with keeping windows open. The décor is meant to be old school and charming, I loved the unique feel as opposed to having everything in neutral tones. I only heard our neighbors once, the unit is pretty quiet. The location is convenient, a short walk to the beach (about 2 blocks) and a short walk to Broadway where the bulk of the shops are. As my husband and I don't have kids we were not bothered by the no kids policy (its a one bedroom suite, where would you dump the kiddos anyway?) There are gorgeous flowers EVERYWHERE on the property, primarily dahlias I believe. Hundreds of beautiful flowers. They smell divine and I initially thought the fragrance might be overwhelming but you don't really notice until you're right upon them. We caught a few passers by sniffing "our" flowers in front of our patio. The owner was even so nice as to share her expertise and knowledge on the flowers. She didn't even mind when we locked ourselves out (note to self- the door automatically locks) and had to ring her bell- late- to get in. (Thanks so much!) We stayed August 1-3, 2014 and had a wonderful time exploring the area. We were happy and comfortable with the place and would recommend it highly. The place is very clean, has a lady who cleans it daily and it a very good deal for the area. There are complimentary snacks in each unit as well which was a nice touch. The hotels are crazy expensive in the area, so this is an excellent option. If we head to Seaside again we would happily book here again!

The Paradise Suites are cute, cozy, quiet, and very clean. We loved the complimentary snacks and VHS rentals. The owner, Donna, is super friendly and helpful. Their winter rates are very affordable and I'd love to come back this spring when the flowers are in bloom. I'm surprised this is their first Yelp review as they are the #1 Seaside hotel on Trip Advisor.

I endorse everything I read in the other reviews. Extremely clean, all kinds of little extra touches you wouldn't expect (like coffee beans and a coffee grinder), and Sara (sp?) was very friendly. We just picked Seaside as an interim stop down the coast and were pleasantly surprised by the town and the hotel. We only stayed the night but wished we could stay an extra day. IMO they don't charge enough.
