My wife and I live within 5 minutes from this Garlic Jim's. We love the pizza here. We have had several kinds of pizza and especially love their pepperoni pizza. We would strongly recommend this pizza location. Come over and try it.

As it was really hot and we didn't want to heat up the house, I was trying to think of something for dinner that would be easy and not involve having to go to the grocery store (I was recovering from surgery and can't drive yet). We hadn't ordered from Garlic Jim's in awhile and I quickly remembered why. They can never get my order right. I ordered online so you would think that that would be easier to follow along with than someone having had to hand write a phone in order, but apparently not. I ordered a veggie pizza add spinach and parmesan and remove the onion, and a green salad with no dressing and no onion. They were running an online special so I got a medium cheese as well. They did manage to get the onions off of my pizza, I couldn't say as much for the salad. My husband ended up picking all of the onions out of the salad before he served it to me. (Bless him) They did not, however, manage to get the spinach or the parmesan onto the pizza. For quality of pizza it is not bad for delivery pizza, but I really need to remember that I will never get what I order.

Pizza was just OK. Basically pretty mediocre. PROBLEM IS, Yelp put the pin in the wrong spot. It is actually about five miles south of downtown. When we called trying to figure out where they were the worker was pretty inept and clueless.

Not good, very disappointed. My dressing expired May of 2013. My husband called them and all they said was that were sorry.

The pizza's great! But please note that the location is much farther out S Liberty street than the pin shows--it's incorrect by about a 10-minute drive!

Pizza is mediocre at best. Tasted great after 6 beers, but not when sober.

Best pizza I have had anywhere in Salem. Really doughy, thick crust and lots of marinara sauce on the pie. Fresh veggies, good meat....I just ate but I could dive into a slice of Garlic Jim's ultimate pizza any time!!!

Good meat lovers pizza. I liked it allot. I do order mine "easy on the sauce". The price was a little high for pizza but as a consumer we have been programmed with ads to think all pizza should be $10 or less. Even though I am from out of town I signed up for their email specials and use them when I come back to Salem for a visit.

Go there for lunch. They have a personal pizza and 12oz soda for $5. I dare you to find that good of a deal anywhere else.

We have gotten pizza here before & it's pretty good but tonight we got a pizza with their gluten free crust and we are VERY pleasantly surprised with how tasty it was. As gluten-free options become more prevalent frequently taste is sacrificed but not here. Yum! And no tummy bloat :)

Good thing my mother in law had a 10 gift certificate. That place was horrible and ridiculously over priced!!!!!!

Man! I don't know what you guys have been having...a bad day? A bad life? This is one of the very few pizzarias that serve a gluten-free pizza crust...a bit oily, but acceptable. We always order the Cashew pizza w.GF crust...plus add and subtract a couple of things. As far as price: Paddington's is about the same, and after all this time they STILL use canned mushrooms. Plus, no gluten-free crust available. Too bad they don't have a lunch pizza like Paddington's, tho.

Ordered a cheese pizza. Not hard to mess up, right? I was wrong. Remember is elementary school -- they had pretty decent pizza? Well, this place makes that pizza (and actually Little Caesers) taste gourmet. Seriously -- barf barf barf. For one, cheese pizza needs good quality cheese. Not here. Then it needs a decent sauce. Not here. This place makes Walerys pizza look decent...and I don't like Walerys. Ugh place.

Holy crap, they have good pizza. Maybe it's just that I was hungry, but it was epically good. They could stand to have more canned sodas available for those of us who aren't ordering takeout, but other than that I have no complaints.

We ordered from a Garlic Jim's (not this location - possibly it got axed already) when we first moved to Salem in November. Our chicken-bacon-ranch pizza arrived squashed against one side of the box, and the delivery kid didn't even try to hide the fact that he was expecting a tip. The pizza itself was okay - good flavor, but weirdly chewy chicken. We're sticking with Little Caesar's.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
