Tito's Burritos offers a wonderful value in the field of Mexican fare. It is a cart located in the crux of Downtown Portland. They have burritos and tacos at standard local prices. I had a pork taco. The taco was very inexpensive at $1.50 and it came after a few minutes. There are by far better tacos, but the marinade was delicious. I should have let it cool down before eating it however and I hope that you will if you come here. Tito's Burritos is a good eat when you are on the run.

Had the steak taco and the meat was tough and lacked flavor. It wasn't anything special. On a side note, beware the hot sauce is very very hot. Enjoy Portland!

I went because it comes up with a hit on carnitas. I love carnitas and I'm still looking for the perfect carnitas in the Portland Metro area (do message me if you have suggestions!). Since the intent was only to try out the place, I just had a carnitas taco. The price was reasonable - 1.50. The staff were friendly and the place seemed clean for a food cart. The food came out quickly and was fresh and hot. The taste - nonexistent. Not even the onions and cilantro on top could give it any zest. The taco was a little hard to eat because it wasn't a good shred but more two large chunks of shredded pork which were a little tough. I don't know if they move but I believe the location was 3rd and Washington. I tried to find it a different day but because there is no street address or cross-street, I was led astray. If you're looking for carnitas and aren't picky, go for it. If you are, I would keep trying other places. They have a nice variety on their menu so it's possible you can find something to love. I'm going to keep looking.

Went because of the reviews. I bought a carnitas taco and ground beef burrito. The burrito was not exceptional... Assuming all their beef choices are spiced the same, I wouldn't recommend any of them. The carnitas taco was better, but a bit dry. I think 'savory' is what this place is missing. I tried both hot sauces. The verde has kick! I wouldn't ask for the red every again.

I have a few obsessions. Hot firemen, shoes, sparkly jewelry and tacos. You can always count on me to post a hot firemen alert, be seen wearing the latest fashion in shoes, adorned in sparkly jewelry and if I'm not eating a taco, I am daydreaming about eating a taco whilst leering at a gaggle of hot firemen. Most recently, Tito's has captured my heart and taste buds. I am over the moon in love with the shrimp and the fish tacos. At $1.75 each, it is an affordable obsession. P.S. If the hot firemen happen to read this, I'm harmless and please try the tacos. 2014 - Review # 57

This place definitely has become a lunchtime addiction for me. As far as Mexican food at a food cart is concerned, you'd be hard pressed to find a better spot in downtown portland. Their portions are HUGE (nachos must weigh a few pounds), and their prices are really fair. Any of their plates are sure to induce a pretty major food coma after eating, so beware! Carnitas and chorizo are my favorite here, and their breakfast burritos are damn good too. Always a sure thing when you are at the carts on 3rd.

  • Carl R.

Easily one of the best Mexican carts downtown. Service is always friendly and fast. Great al pastor and asada tacos. Reasonable prices. Cash only, so I always prepare if I know I am going to hit up Tito's. It's in the pod near 10th and Alder. Edit: Scratch that, I think there are multiple Tito's downtown?

Amazing food and friendly people! Love it! Got the enchilada burrito with rice and beans and it was yumm!!

I may never defer from my first burrito here... the Carnitas. It's so salty, succulent, and delicious! I went to the carts today because I actually had cash in my wallet. A rarity! A few weeks ago I had a very disappointing burrito when I walked to the carts for Tito's Carnitas Burrito, but only had my debit card. At the time, Tito's was CASH ONLY. And unfortunately I don't bank with an institution that reimburses ATM fees, so I settled for the cart further down the block that took my card. Look at me being all fiscally responsible. Boy, what a mistake! The debit card burrito just left me unsatisfied and wanting the real thing. "Next time you have cash, treat yourself!", I said. So, today I walked down with cash in hand to get the real deal. And, I was surprised to see a VISA and MASTERCARD sign on their menu. This is great news for my taste buds, but also bad news for my bank account... because now I know these burritos will always be available to me.

Portland has a lot of great food, but as some from the American Southwest, I've been far from impressed with its offering of Mexican cuisine. Tito's is the exception. I've gone here with several people from California to Texas who shared my skepticism of the Pacific NW's Mexican food, and all were extremely happy with the food here. On top of that, the food is extremely affordable. My staple dish is 3 tacos asada with two containers of the green hot sauce (which is great), and this runs me a whole $4.50. Be warned that Tito's' excellence is not a secret, and you should anticipate a 5-10 minute wait during lunch hours. I have never been here without being in a small line. It's worth it though.

My favorite Mexican food cart in Portland! I come here for the breakfast burritos all the time. Good quality at an affordable price!

Super friendly, delicious food made by actual Mexican people at a ridiculously cheap price. Highly recommend. Not the absolute best I've ever had but for the price it is amazing.

Good Mexican food in Portland? I didn't expect that. Who knew Portland had a Mexican food truck that would easily compare to the Mexican food trucks of southern Cal? The piping hot breakfast burrito was perfect food for the frigid Portland morning. I'm just glad they were open earlier than the majority of the other food truck who seem to open for the lunch rush. The burrito was big enough to satisfy both myself and my lady's appetite. All of the ingredients were fresh and blended together nicely. A possible new slogan for the Pacific Northwest...Mexican Food Truck Central? Maybe not but Tito's Burritos is pretty legit in my book.

solid Mexican food cart. Best on 3rd st. Fast. Affordable. GREAT breakfast burritos. Jose is a sweet man. Great salsa. Service is fast. Popular during weekday lunch, get there early! My only wish is they opened earlier than 9am for breakfast burritos!

  • Loon E.

So good and so cheap. Tacos for basically a buck and burritos for four, WTF?!?! I'm not complaining though! Love this cart whenever I'm craving some quick Mexican and coming from California, I know good tacos and burritos and Tito always delivers. The accompanying sauces are great too as is everything with this place. Stop in to fill your belly when you're nearly broke or getting there, because you won't find many spots with food of this quality at prices this low.

  • Stephanie W.

Stopped here for 3 fish tacos - very happy with them. Fast, cheap, yummy. Salsa was great, as it is at all food carts I've tried so far. Appreciated the generosity with lime slices. The 5 stars is for contentment.

In what seems to be a never-ending quest for a great breakfast burrito from a Mexican food cart, Tito's was next on the list. I stared at the menu for a while before ordering the #1: potatoes, eggs, ham, bell peppers, and melted cheese. Yeah, I said bell peppers. Haven't seen many of those in breakfast burritos! The bell peppers (red and green) made this one extremely colorful and added another flavor dimension previous breakfast burritos (from other carts) didn't have. I'm not sure if beans were mistakenly added to my burrito. Whatever the case, it was a flavorful filling that fully united. Whoa, try saying that three times fast. (Tongue-twisting panda.) It came with two types of hot sauces (red and green), plus a lime wedge. I actually detected a bit of zip in that green concoction. Despite looking angrier, that red sauce didn't have as big an impact on my tongue. The burrito is $4. Cheap and delicious...love that! Tito's has your usual tacos, burritos, tortas, side dishes, and combo plates. All possess very reasonable price tags. And after downing that palate-pleasing burrito, I'm a huge fan of this cart! One day, I shall return for more!

  • Andrew H.

It's been a while since I've stopped by Tito's, but it was definitely one of my go-to burrito spots when I lived downtown. The burritos are very hearty and fill you up. They are fast and it's convenient, especially if you're on the go.

  • Jorey K.

Best Mexican food in Portland. Their Chile relleno burrito and asada tacos are fantastic and at a great price too!

    (5)
  • Holy-foo' X.

Definitely one of the betterMexi-carts around, and considering the stiff competition to be found at the world-class foodcart pod in which Tito hangs his trusty sombrero, they pretty much have to deliver the goods. Once again, Huzzah! for market economies and competition! This keeps choice and the vote in the hands of the consumers. In sum: Tito makes some mighty good machaca burritos and I love the rhyming motif of the place! But watch out for that orange hot sauce or this place will inspire rhymes far beyond that of the too-cool-for-school name of the place..... like, "Santa Maria! Diarrhea!"

  • Diane P.

Food is fine, service is S-L-O-W. only taco cart on the block and there's always a line.

    (4)
  • Shachi B.

Who knew food carts were a gateway to burrito heaven? This East Coaster certainly didn't! Literally everything on the menu looked awesome but I opted for the chile relleno burrito. Hot, fresh, flavorful and huge! You can definitely eat half for lunch and save the rest for an afternoon snack (though my little guy never had a chance of making it past 12:30). Get your burrito fix, stat!

  • Armando D.

I hope this isn't the best street Mexican food that Portland has to offer! I ordered a carnitas burrito but they gave me carne asada. Bland, dry and tough low quality meat is what it was. Definitely not worthy of even 4 Yelp stars. The guy taking orders was nice though and actually spoke spanish (which is why this place had given me hope!) The picture of the torta on the menu looked really good with the authentic ingredients though so if you go here I'd definitely give that a try. Guess this reviewer is just spoiled with Mexican food in SoCal.

  • Dang N.

I'm starting to think that you just can't wrong no matter which truck you choose on this street. And this includes Tito's. I first had to try out one of their tacos. True to Mexico, it's an open faced taco and good. I'm honestly amazed I can get such an authentic tasting taco this far from the Mexican border. If you've never had an open faced taco or been to Mexico, get this first. Burritos you can anywhere in the world. But tacos like this are difficult to find. After the taco, I got a burrito. It's a pretty healthy size and will definitely fill up a natural appetite. And it's good also. Solid good. Not the best burrito I've ever had but still good. Hard to say which one I liked better but I think I'd lean towards the tacos. Only because-again, it's really hard to find authentic tasting tacos.

This is by far my favorite place to grab a burrito in Portland. After becoming addicted them while living in Austin, when I moved to Portland I had to find a suitable spot when I was fiending. I've tried most of the Mexican food carts downtown and Tito's definitely the best. With this particular location, there are three or four others within a block. I always check with Tito's first (their hours are the only negative thing about them), and then work my way through my list of preferred burrito spots around the block. This usually is only an issue after 5PM though - I haven't had to do this since returning to Portland last month. I usually get the carne asada burrito and often have them throw in shrimp. Pro tip: have them put your salsa in while they are making it so you don't have to worry difficult application if you are eating your burrito on the go. I'm looking forward to trying their B&M location near PSU when it opens soon.

Solid Mexican food. Everything I've had has been excellent. Their carnitas has the perfect mix of crunchy crispy crust and moist tender meat. Their burritos are huge and delicious, but don't overlook the tacos. I think they're only a buck a piece. Try the salsa verde you'll be happy you did.

    (4)
  • Matt S.

I come here often. More often that I would like to admit. I get the carnitas burrito with black beans and love it. I've tried other things and have been slightly less enthusiastic, which is why I always go back to my classic. And hell, it is called Tito's Burritos. You should get a burrito. Yum!

  • Michael D.

Coming from Los Angeles, I know what legit, shady mexican tacos taste like. I only ordered the al pastor taco, but I can tell that they prepare their dishes like the ones in LA. You get a buttload of meat atop two tortillas. I personally don't think I've ever gotten so much meat on any taco before; the mass ratio was probably 2:1 al pastor : tortilla. Effin HUGE. And the al pastor was super tasty too. Perfectly seasoned with the right amount of kick. I thought for sure after eating a taco as great was that one, I would spend days on the toilet, but thankfully, I only spent hours. :D just kidding. If you want some LA-style mexican tacos, come to tito's!

  • Kody L.

I tend to be wary of burrito gut bombs, so it's taken me awhile to try Tito's out. It was happy with my choice: the carnitas burrito ($5). The meat was a bit dry, but it mixed in with the other fillings just nicely. The other things about the fillings that's nice is that it's not a big gob of sour cream and sauces and keeps me away from Mexican food in general. It was full of rice, avocado, some veggies and was a good mix of filling. Pretty standard Mexican cart fair, but not overly Tex-Mex.

Visiting Portland and staying at The Nines. I specifically went looking for a breakfast burrito and was so happy that the burritos lived up to the reviews. I love chorizo burritos and this one didn't disappoint. Like any burrito, I wish the sour cream and guac were a bit more evenly distributed, but filling and tasty. Definitely will be back.

  • Amia T.

Portland and Mexican food don't really seem to go together, but this food cart is one of my favorites! I always get the veggie burrito which is full of bell peppers, corn, tomatoes, beans, rice, lettuce, etc. etc. etc! This is exciting for me because even out here in California, where there is a Mexican restaurant on every corner, I have trouble getting a good veggie burrito. It's always this confusing "you mean just beans and cheese?" thing. Glad to know I can get what I want at Tito's Burritos!

  • Alex H.

One of my favorite lunch spots. I love their taco plate and torta. Can't beat the prices either.

    (5)
  • Erin N.

Skip the carne asada and go for the carnitas or al pastor tacos. Portland had been letting me down Mexican food-wise until I came across Titos. Cheap, fast, flavorful, and they don't skimp on the meats. I'm so happy I work close by! I cant give 5 stars because Taco Burrito Palace in Chicago still holds my taco heart. But I'd have to say Titos does your taste buds good.

  • George K.

This is an excellent Mexican Burrito Cart! Just tried them out for the first time, and their burritos are really, really good! And the people that run the cart were really friendly too. I will have to visit this place a few more times, before I can give it a full 5 stars.

    (4)
  • John S.

Easily one of the better tacos I've eaten in my life. I've tried both the al pastor and the chorizo and both took me to places of magical flavor. And you can't beat the price of $1.50 per.

  • Mark H.

Had the carne asada burrito and it was awesome! The red and green salsa were a great accompaniment. The service was extremely fast and friendly. The next time we're in town I'll be sure to try some of Tito's other offerings.

This place has the best chicken Burrito in the world. Simply awesome. fast, cheap, good quality. Wish I had one in my back yard. You gotta try it!

  • Trisha W.

Got the idea to go here from yelp, and yet again, yelp was right!!! Fantastic food made with fresh savory ingredients. This place is street food done right by people who know the proper authentic way to make Mexican food, and when all the items are either $5 or $5.50 how can you beat it?.. I will be enjoying much more food from this place in the future.

    (5)
  • Don B.

Tito makes a pretty neato burrito. Not the best burrito on the block, but definitely on par with the majority of the burrito carts downtown. I enjoyed the $4.50 carnitas burrito (pura carne). It was big and tasty, and done just how I asked - meat and pico, nothing else. Unfortunately, the carnitas were a tad dry/over-cooked. Otherwise, the burrito definitely hit the spot. It was still 100,000,000,000 times better than any fast food or americanized burrito. Not as good as Villanueva down the street, though. I am definitely looking forward to trying it again to see what he can do with some carne asada. I love cart food. :)

  • Mengo Z.

Tito's is by far my fav Mexican cart in all of Portland! I'll have to say that their tacos are very comparable in deliciousness to the Mexico City street food tacos (YUMM!!!) and even though it's not nearly as cheap as 5 tacos for 25 pesos (the memories...!!!) each one is only $1.50, or 6 quarters. With the way our economy is going, that is not a bad deal at all, considering the heaping pile of meat (that smells sooo meaty and wonderful, prompting a coworker passing by to murmur, "mmmm ohhh my - What is THAT!! I guess I am hungry after all!" to which I respond suspiciously, "uhhh...it's a meat taco from Tito's. Heyy...i thought you were a vegetarian!") The meaty goodness (from which you can choose from a list of almost 10 different preparations of tasty critters) is nestled on top of 2 soft tortillas, sprinkled generously with onions, cilantro or lettuce fixin's. The people who work there are also very simpatico. 2 tacos will do a good job of filling you up for lunch. Bonus points for the fresh, saran-wrapped lime slice and assortment of sauces you can choose from and napkins. Try the pastor taco! Nom nom nom.... Happy munching!!!

  • Aleck L.

Been here twice hitting the rounds in Portland. I would give 5 starts but it's a burrito. That said, their tortillas are made and grilled to perfection give the ingredients a lovely crispy surrounding. This is a big meal and on the messy side. Easily replaces Chipotle.

    (4)
  • DJ G.

That's what I'm talking about. Burritos constructed right in front of you in a food cart. If you can handle the line, you're in for a tasty $5 burrito or excellent taco. The service is friendly and they wrassle up those burritos as fast as they can given the small confines of their kitchen. When I worked downtown, Tito's was my go-to burrito spot for a sunny day. Burrito in hand, I would march down to the waterfront to eat my gut bomb and stare down/chase off joggers ogling my catch. Sometimes I'd throw scraps of tortilla on the ground in front of me to see if I could attract a really hungry cyclist...but they never stopped. *Tear* Good thing I still had my burrito from Tito's to keep my day on track!

    (4)
  • Shane N.

For $5 you get a very hefty burrito and it keeps me full from lunch all the way to dinner. The pastor (pork) burrito is my favorite. Tacos are $1.75 and breakfast burritos (I prefer the chorizo) is only $4.75. Good food, filling, fast and inexpensive, Tito's has the best burritos in SW PDX. It's so good that I have had Titos at least once per week since I discovered it two months ago.

My momma will be proud. I have cash in my wallet rather than my usual debit card and credit card method of payment. She will even more proud to know that I only spent $5.75 for dinner. A huge Asada Burrito full of yummy chunk of steaks (my protein), rice (carbs), beans (fiber?), tomatilo salsa (vitamin C and my veggies for the night) companied by one cold can of Dr Pepper (dessert). Like any other good daughter around the world, I always follow my mom's advice. She told me not to eat until I burst, so I kept my left over tucked in the fridge. I told myself, I will have it for lunch tomorrow. Three hours went by, I was standing in front of microwave. I was reheating my yummy Asada burrito. Don't tell my mom that for once, I didn't listen to her advice..(there were those other times...but let's keep it a secret from her...)

Finally found a great Mexican food stand! Tried the pollo, carne asada, and carnitas tacos and all are very good. If I had to choose, my favorite are the carnitas tacos. They even sell the Mexican coke with real sugar (no high fructose corn syrup).

  • Chris W.

I work downtown and go here frequently. Prices are very reasonable and the food is very good. I get just a basic bean, cheese, and rice burrito for $3.50, can't beat that. It is very quick if you call in. Check it out.

  • Scott T.

Pretty darn tasty, huge burrito for only 4.75$... that's what they should cost! I love my SF taquerias but when I am paying around 7$, that's too much. I have to thank the nice person who served me. I was on a business trip so I asked for a receipt (so I could expense my 5$ burrito like a cheap-skate, but hey, business is business), thinking she would have one off the register. She meticulously hand-wrote me a receipt! Muchas Gracias!

We tried one of each taco: chicken, pork, carnitas. At 1.50 each it was cheap eats. The pork was the best by far. All gluten free too!!!!! Definitely will return to this little piece of goodness.

Really decent. Had the taquito special and it was just right. Not too oily and the salad on the side was a nIcr complement. The red salsa is great. Smokey with a nice kick. I will be heading back soon.

My friend and I were not super hungry but we were in the mood to explore some food carts and by the time we arrived, our choices were limited because many were already closed. Having craved burritos for the past week, my friend chose Tito's and we shared the burrito pastor. What you get is really a bargain...at only $5 we were impressed with the size and the fresh beans, rice, and of course the delicately marinated pork. While we were waiting the guy in the cart let us try some of the carnitas as well and it was juicy, if a little under seasoned. Service was friendly and this place definitely deserves a sign that reads "cheap eats".

Excellent chicken burrito. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy and everything else was fresh. Plus four different types of got sauce.

Hands down the best tacos for the price in Portland. There are a lot of other great taco places but this place is good, cheap and fast.

  • Randall S.

Good, classic, and fresh. I like tacos with fresh ingredients, fresh tortillas, prepared with minimal improvisation. This hits the spot. The only thing I needed, was a little more heat and they will gladly add a little habanero for you. I had one taco with an Al Pastor and one with chorizo. I liked them so much, I came back the next day.

I miss you already Tito's Burritos. It was love at first bite. The veggie burrito is so GREAT! The burritos are huge!! I have one heck of an appetite, but I couldn't even finish mine. I had to call in back up help (husband, otherwise known as human garbage disposal). They aren't stingy with the hot sauce. The nice man gave us three different ones to try, each flavorful, delicious, and hot. oh yeah, and my husband and I ate for $10 total. There is no place to sit but there is a nice river side park just three blocks away. Go sit on a bench and fall in love with your burrito.

  • T N.

I have to say, Tito's is my favorite Mexican cart downtown for carnitas tacos/burritos. In my opinion, 95% of the other mexican carts downtown taste the same (there are a few exceptions - the yellow cart near Dante's, for example). Tito's burritos are far superior AND they give out tasty chipotle salsa if you ask for it. Some insider info: Tito's has just recently switched back to its normal staff, returning from a ~2 month vacation. The people from King Burrito were manning the controls in their stead, making for less than stellar mexican fare.

    (5)
  • Mac M.

I love beef...shredded beef....and cheese, don't forget cheese! And I like it all wrapped up in a tasty flour tortilla. It's really quite simple: Tito's Burrito's has what I need. That is all.

  • Melissa G.

Viva Titos! I was a bit fearful of "the carts" when I first started working downtown (food born illness is ick!) ; however, Titos cured me of my phobia. I love the veggie taco combo so much that I have had to start limiting my visits to once (maybe twice) per month. It's always staffed by the same folks and the food is reliably excellent. I have alerted many to the greatness of this cart and none have been disappointed!

Hi. My name is Cam & I'm a porkaholic. I didn't always start out this way. I haven't always fantasized about toothy, savory, porcine goodness that fills your mouth with saliva while you're chomping away in ecstasy. Nope, nor that lovely porky aroma that sets off arcs of electricity through your sinuses as the overwhelming sensation of seared PORK! goes zinging through your taste buds & stomach with a quick side trip to the brain & heart. That's right. I used to be like everyone else & think that Cha Cha Cha was ever so cute & Hawthorne-y. Not that it isn't. Had the carnitas burrito here which may very well be the best burrito we've had in PDX so far. Tender succulent chunks of pork nestled in seasoned rice with black beans & garlicky salsa & then swaddled in a grilled tortilla. Oh, & lard. Lots of lard. Think of it as savory lip gloss, arterial lubricant, & rowing-machine-quality-time inducement all rolled into one. Mmm porkety porcine pleasures of the gustatory kind. Did I mention that my taste buds love me? So go mend some fences & atone for that last culinary indiscretion involving Tacky Bell, cheap hipster beer & the crawl of shame to the altar of the porcelain god. Your stomach & wallet will thank you.

Don't get me wrong. The chicken taco and the carnitas taco? Real, real good shit. But the taco pastor is a fuckin' madman. (Did I mention they're $1.50 each? Starving again just thinking about them.)

    (4)
  • Teresa W.

The Father and son team are adorable. The limey, cilantroey, onioney goodness of their pastor taco is perfect and makes me drool. Prices are cheap and there is no seating, nuff said. Wait pork, pork, pork, pork! Okay done.

2 burritos. 1 chicken. 1 chorizo and egg. Great stuff! Wonderful taste. Worth the trip.

yahhooo - fresh awesome deliciousness on a plate. Had one of every taco - loved the fish, chicken the best - but man there wasn't a bad one on the plate - OK - plates! Try both hot sauces, ask for extra napkins sit down and eat.

Solid. Tito's serves very tasty burritos and the price is dirt cheap. I don't understand how so many other places can serve such mediocre Mexican food and stay in business. Tito's, however, comes correct with the flavor every time. I wish there were more locations. I suggest the shredded beef burrito and ask him to put some red sauce in it, too.

Searching for a good burrito in the Portland area can be quite a task, luckily my husband works downtown and discovered this yummy cart! I had a very delicious carne asada burrito that I wasn't able to stop thinking about for weeks.

I come from the SF bay and we have some good mex but now that I live here and have a part time job because nobody likes me, I have to be cheap. Tito's is the best burrito cart i've had yet. The burrito is good but thats not why its the best. You see, when I am working 20 hours a week and I have no cash, I can get a Veggie Burrito for $3.50. I order Black Beans, cheese, rice, sour cream, hot sauce and AVOCADO! The burrito is not that big but its filling. Thats a good thing cause you don't want to go back to work with the exploding shits. It could go bad in many ways that can make the rest of the work day shitty. You can be in there for 15 mins on the clock which is good because your getting paid but if a costumer sees you leave the floor and come back in 15 mins, then they know you took a crap. Usually its hot chicks that notice and they tell their friends and so on. Then you the caca kid and nobody wants to hire you for another part time job that would make you happy and money having.

It's been a while since I've stopped by Tito's, but it was definitely one of my go-to burrito spots when I lived downtown. The burritos are very hearty and fill you up. They are fast and it's convenient, especially if you're on the go.

Diarrhea!"

Food is fine, service is S-L-O-W. only taco cart on the block and there's always a line.

Had the carne asada burrito and it was awesome! The red and green salsa were a great accompaniment. The service was extremely fast and friendly. The next time we're in town I'll be sure to try some of Tito's other offerings.

Okay done.

Finally found a great Mexican food stand! Tried the pollo, carne asada, and carnitas tacos and all are very good. If I had to choose, my favorite are the carnitas tacos. They even sell the Mexican coke with real sugar (no high fructose corn syrup).

  • Curtis C.

  • Matt S.

I come here often. More often that I would like to admit. I get the carnitas burrito with black beans and love it. I've tried other things and have been slightly less enthusiastic, which is why I always go back to my classic. And hell, it is called Tito's Burritos. You should get a burrito. Yum!

    (5)

Stopped here for 3 fish tacos - very happy with them. Fast, cheap, yummy. Salsa was great, as it is at all food carts I've tried so far. Appreciated the generosity with lime slices. The 5 stars is for contentment.

    (5)

  • Lisa D.

  • Ethan C.

This is an excellent Mexican Burrito Cart! Just tried them out for the first time, and their burritos are really, really good! And the people that run the cart were really friendly too. I will have to visit this place a few more times, before I can give it a full 5 stars.

Easily one of the better tacos I've eaten in my life. I've tried both the al pastor and the chorizo and both took me to places of magical flavor. And you can't beat the price of $1.50 per.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
