Went here with a group of people to hang out and visit. The beer selection is very good. There is a wide selection of pizzas. The pizzas we ordered were actually pretty good to me even though I'm not much of a pizza fan. I think you can count this as a safe call for dinner if beer and pizza is what you are craving!

Ok...so call me the GF Diva. If you need to know where to eat GF...I got ya' covered. FYI...a pizza joint is NOT the place, normally, to go for GF fare. BUT...if you are going to go to a pizza joint looking for GF fare...THIS is the place to do it. They don't specifically have a GF menu, or even really GF options...but they will go out of their way to accommodate as they can. Let it be known though...if you are ALLERGIC...stay away...this place is covered in dough. (Let's be honest...if you are allergic and haven't figured out to stay away from a pizza place...shame on you.) All in all though...great place. They have a couple of hard cider options for the gluten challenged and, like I said, are willing to accommodate the burgers, sandwiches, and salads as needed...and they will do it with a smile. They only lose the one star for not having any real GF options for those of us who are forced by our non-gluten challenged friends and families to come here.

This place to me is very good! the price is a little pricey but it is worth it to me!! I had the chicken Alfredo, it was okay but the pizza is where its at! yum yum yum... so if you like pizza you should try this place!!

If you are a beer person this is the place for you with dozens of beers to choose from all over the world you are sure to find a new favorite. Beer not your thing? They have a full bar and a decent wine selection as well. For food, pizzas, calzones, paninis, burgers, nachos, sandwiches, wings, pasta... Combine that with a good place to watch the game and friendly servers and you are good to go!

This is our letter to Old Chicago's corporate office: My husband and I went to Old Chicago in Milwaukie Oregon last night, and it was the worst experience of our lives. My husband's father passed last Tuesday, and we live about 100 miles from my husband's family. We have been driving between our home and his family home all week to make all the necessary arrangements. We did not finish until after 9:30 PM, and we were really hungry because we had not had a chance to eat all day. My husband and I arrived at Old Chicago, and we were seated very quickly, which was good. Our waitress came over to our table right away, and because we had been to Old Chicago so many times, we knew exactly what we wanted for beverages and food. She brought our beverages very quickly, but the host person (the one who initially seated us) was talking to a couple sitting at the table directly behind our table. My husband and I thought he would just be there for a few minutes, but he stood there laughing loudly, talking loudly, and carrying on in the most unprofessional manner. The host stood there talking like that while we ordered our drinks and food, while we waited for our food to arrive (20-25 minutes), and for the first few bites of our food. We heard about some trip that he took out of country, found out that he had just been engaged, learned that the other patron that he was speaking to was a photographer, and we heard all about how the host proposed to his fiancé. After listening to all of their conversations for our entire visit, we just wanted him to go away. He was so loud and boisterous that my husband and I could not carry on a conversation. I got up from the table and tried to find our waitress or a manager, and could not. I wanted to move from the table we were sitting at, to another one as far away from the loud host as possible. I grabbed our plates of food, and moved to another table on my own. Our waitress came over, after we had moved, and asked us if we were more comfortable at our new table. She was a complete angel, and we told her why we moved, and my husband asked to speak to a manager. When the manager came to our table, and we explained the situation with the host, the manager actually had the nerve to tell us that the host was talking to guests that were "regulars". The manager was so rude to us that I literally got up from the table and told him that he could keep his calzone, because it was not worth the trouble, and I walked out of the establishment. How dare the manager and host treat guests like that! How dare they imply that a guest that is a regular should take precedent over any other guest. We actually go to that Old Chicago every time we visit my husband's family, and we have had lunch and dinner there hundreds of times over the last 25 years. I have never EVER walked out of a restaurant like that, and I have also never been treated so rudely in my life. I don't know what his issue was, but we will NEVER eat at Old Chicago again. My husband just lost his father, and we just wanted to sit down and eat a peaceful dinner. Unfortunately, your staff was so out of control and rude that we did not eat our dinner. We drove all the way home hungry and angry beyond words. Do not attempt to tell us that you will give us free food or any comps of any kind. We simply do not want them, as we would never eat in a place that treats their guests so rudely. That host should be fired, as my husband stated to the manager last night, and the manager.....I would really like to slap him right in his stupid little face. He is an idiot beyond compare. How he came to be a manager is really beyond me, and if he worked in our company he would have been fired immediately. He has the lifetime value of a customer confused if he thinks regular customers are more valued than any other customer. We would have paid the same amount of money, if not more, than that regular customer. He also allowed that couple to lay all over each other, and carry on as if the couple owned the place. Managers and hosts are there to do a job, and they were more interested in socializing with this couple than doing their jobs, and other customers suffered for it. In the end, your company has lost any future revenue from us, our friends and our family. I am posting this letter on facebook, and it will be going on Yelp as well. We hope that other couples who have suffered the same treatment do the very same, as your company does not deserve to be in business if you allow managers and hosts to carry on in such an unprofessional manner.

Decided to buy my employees pizza for lunch and we decided on old Chicago. Girl in the front was really nice and bubbly. We ordered some BBQ chicken pizza and it was the best pizza I have ever had hands down. You have to try it if you go in here. I only wish I would have taken a picture so I could show you but we ate them to fast

I only go here once every few years, but I've never been disappointed. We had a large pizza for 20 bucks. It was good, but a little soft and greasy. I prefer a firmer, drier crust, but I know I'm in the minority when it comes to pizza preferences. Service was really good. They checked back frequently and refilled drinks, and brought the check quickly too. They have tons of TV's, but we weren't watching. The place was very clean and well maintained.

This is by far the worst service I've ever experienced. The place wasn't even packed and it took 15 minutes to get a waitress to take our drink and food order. Then we waited another 30 minutes to get our order of a salad and French fries as well as no refills on our drinks. Never coming back.

  • Kaylynn J.

I didnt enjoy my visit there all in all. I didnt mind waiting half an hour to get seated. I like to think im a pretty patient. But once we got seated we waited almost an hour to get our drinks. a couple seates after us by 30 minutes got their drinks before we did. I'd like to mention i was with my husband and my well behaved (until the very end) 2 year old daughter was with us. We were able to entertain her for another hour until our food arrived. The food was fantastic in my opinion. But not worth the wait, and i dont think ill end up going to this location again. I understand Friday nights are very busy, but as a former server and cook, i know that. Time limit was inappropriate.

I'm not lucky enough to have Old Chicago in my hometown so when on vacation we saw one we had to stop in to try it out. What a great pizza! Everything from our appetizer to the pizza was great, along with the service and atmosphere. A+!

We sat in the bar and had yummy food and excellent service. My only complaint was I ordered a kamakazi and the glass was filled with almost all ice with just a little bit of drink on the bottom. Other than that we had a great experience! Our server was Yimmy and she did a terrific job. She was working her tail off going from one place to the next --- all with a smile too!

Service: I waited for 10 min to get a server to my table. I ordered a water cup with a few extra cups of water since they don't serve pitchers of waters, but I am guessing from the server attitude, that I asked for too much And I never gotten any of the waters refilled. The order was put in wrong by the server, and the apologies that I got from both the manager and the waiter were the most fake apologizes I yet to hear. Food: cheesy garlic bread was almost as the ones you get out of a box in the refrigerator isle at the super market, the only difference is, you don't have to cook it. The pizza came and it was not as I specified, so honestly I didn't taste it to review it. Price: n/a Over all I will not return not recommend this place.

I used live near this place a few years ago and liked the pizza. I was in area decided to try it again. Big disappointment, they changed sauce on pizza. It was blah and I could not finish. I love pizza! Waitress was great, friendly, prompt and understanding. She took money off my bill knowing I was not pleased. I found they use a different sauce on lunch pizza special. I did not see a note on menu if I had I might have asked about it..

Love this place. My boyfriend and I frequent this place with another couple. We love it, almost always great service, and usually pretty quick about it. A few times we've had to wait a bit, but if that happens it's usually pretty busy and expected. The servers are usually very sweet and remember what we like with our meals. One of my favorite places to go for sure :) oh, and great food too!! With a lot of delicious beer choices!!

This Old Chicago location is 10x better than the Tanasbourne location that I'm more familier with. I was craving their pizza rolls and a salad, so we came in for lunch yesterday. The service, food, and even the restaurant itself were so much better than the other location. My husband had the fish and chips, and the fries came with seasoning that we hadn't had there before. It made the fries so addictive, you couldn't stop eating them. The spicy fried pickles were perfectly crispy and the pizza rolls were huge and fluffy. I ordered the chopped salad, which was fresh and filling. Our server was great, and suggested I get the grilled chicken vs the roasted chicken (an excellent suggestion) with my salad and was fully attentive the entire time. I love going there for the beer selection. We had a couple pints of a Farmhouse Saison brew. I know Portland is known for it's breweries and pubs, but Old Chicago is a great place to come to sample some brews from all over the place.

A fight for one of the best places on earth! We drive over an hour each way to come here! Usually try to get Oryan as our bartender. One of the most knowledgeable bartenders I been served by. Beer selections are endless. Pizza rolls are to die for. Although I've had about 1/5 of their menu found it all to be above great quality. Fun, enjoyable, and the atmosphere is amazing. One heck of a good time! You won't be disappointed.

  • Richard Z.

I loved our time here. The food was excellent, and there is a bartender there, Oryan (Orion?) who really knows his stuff about beer, and was able to give us a good handle on the seriously-ample selection they have. He was friendly & knowledgeable, but didn't make us feel pressured to get blitzed. A definite future visit for us.

A very large selection of types of brew. Good lunch specials. Pizza is fresh and the thick style was best to me. Wings are average at best. For the area it's a good spot. Very friendly and attentive.

The service is good. Not anything special or memoriable. But the Tuscan Pizza with lemon spinach on top... Oh Man! Its why I keep coming back.

First, the garlic bread and pizza rolls were phenomenal! The caprese salad is amazing. And we've gotten good service the two times I've been. I look forward to going again and trying more of their menu!

The waitstaff was very nice, the food was good. It's your typical chain sports bar feel, but I have nothing negative to say; we'll be back.

We had a stellar server and let the manager know. Yep, that's pretty much the most memorable feature. The pizza was decent but I prefer other styles (NY or true Chicago deep dish). My wife has certain cheese plus nut allergies and the server was very accommodating and took care of things when the order did not come out correctly.

This was my boyfriend and I first time here. Let me start off by saying if you get lucky enough to have Jack as your waiter, you are in for great and fast service. He is very professional and was with a great smile on his face the whole time. He takes hospitality and waiter service to a whole new level. Thanks jack for that best service ever!! And the food, let me tell you-it was delicious! It came out within minutes! We ordered the Italian nachos (which were HUGE!) & buffalo wings as appetizers. My boyfriend ordered the spicey steak sandwich thing (I forgot what it's called lol) and I ordered the meat lovers calzone. I only ate like 1/5th of it cause I was stuffed from the appetizers. I also had the strawberry lemonade which was delicious. It was a great, chill atmosphere. My boyfriend says we'll definitely be back at this location for sure

Well first off we walked in and there was a girl holding the door and at the desk two people Talking. They were leaning on a counter with their backs to us. We stood there and finally the guy turned around and stared at us.... I said can we get a table? He said " uh, yeah. How many of ya" I said three. He looked back at the other girl he was talking with and the girl at the door said I'll help you. He seemed like we were bothering him. We should have walked out then. We got seated and someone came to take our drink orders. Got two ice teas right away and the last drink took another 7-10 minutes. When it arrived we placed our order. After we ordered my daughter said what is this black thing in my drink? It clearly looked like a bug we got someone over to our table and told Them. A minute later the manager came and told us it was mint. Mint is green and doesn't have wings. I don't believe it was mint. They replaced the drink 5 minutes later and although the waitress told my daughter it was sweet it was really tart like drinking the candy smarties. We asked for sprite instead. Again, five minutes or more to get the drink. The pizza took at least 30-40 minutes to arrive. It was okay. Nothing special. Wayyyyy too much sauce but I dared not complain because we were hungry. Honestly Pizza Hut is cheaper and better and I'm not a fan of fast food so that says a lot.

I was here 2 weeks ago - forgot to write my review. The service here is pretty good for a pub-like place. It gets pretty busy on game nights AND weekends. The food is good. The pizza is good. Standard for pub food. The beer selection (while they offer a lot of beers!!!) is just OK for me. I am not a huge fan of IPA's and hoppy beers. THEY HAVE A LOT OF BOTH!!! I wish they would offer more German & Belgium beers on tap.

Well what can I say, saw on their wall list of beers, and one caught my attention, that was the Ride your Bike beer, interesting name! So went and ordered it, it has a very smooth taste to it, and a appealing smell as well- even my wife liked it, and she doesnt like beer! Hmmmm...... lol Like another person has said, they have a world beer program here, after you drink certain set of beers you get a tshirt- and they have a awesome selection of beer! Anyway, for food, I went with the Meat calzone, plus pineapple on it, and that was real yummy! Loved it, and got a pizza to go, same thing but in their deep dish, with the pineapple and red onions added. forget what wife had, but its in the pics I took, might have been the chicken strambolli. Overall, the service was very prompt and courteous, and I would most certainly recommend this place!

  • Alison V.

The waitress was friendly, but there just wasn't enough people on staff. It seemed like they were really rushed. Right now they're under going remodeling which didn't help, but I've had better experiences at other locations. I got the veggie Chicago 7 calzone (which actually isn't on the menu anymore, but they let me order it). I would recommend a pizza over a calzone as it had too much dough.

$2 mini pizzas after 10 as well as $3 pints???? Well done America, Well done! As well as having the best looking bartenders in town(Beth you have my heart) This place has become my late night hangout when i need to unwind after my more boring friends have crashed for the night! Much love to my favorite place!!!

One of our favorite restaurants! The food is always really good, the large and diverse menu caters to our varying tastes, the staff are all very friendly and attentive, the seating and noise levels are comfortable, you can see various sports games on different tvs, yet it isn't intrusive. All in all, a great place to eat or relax and watch a game!

I love old Chicago we have eaten here tons of times, however this location absolutely reeks of nasty stale beer. I honestly can't believe we would be the only ones complaining about this. I complained to staff the first time we came in and she said they must have spilled something. We went back the following Monday to the bar for Happy hour, it's still the same. I talked to the bar tender and asked her why is smelled so bad and she wasn't sure. She thought it has something to do with open drains. She said it wasn't always that way. We had a class for several Mondays that led us here for weeks after and every time it smelled disgusting. I started questioning the safety of this place and stopped going. Too bad though because they have the best happy hour.

  • Stephanie A.

We ordered drinks and sent one back, pretty sure there's not an actual bartender, just a waiter or cook making drinks. The waitress was nice about remaking it and not charging us. We ordered the fried zucchini which was ok- mostly flavorless. The soft pretzel with jalapeño was good. We also ordered a thick crust pizza - which was pretty good. We won't be back. It wasn't awful, we just prefer high-quality, local restaurants.

I only been here but twice. Both times ordered an alcoholic beverage and a huge nacho. Which were delicious. Heard on some nights its a decent bar scene. I wouldn't know. I went during the early evening hours and it had a nice family atmosphere. Service was speedy and friendly. The prices and menu weren't bad either.

How have I never reviewed Old Chicago? Great pizza (very deep dish-y), lots of beers, tons of daily specials. I've been to Clackamas and Gateway and they're both great. Beers of the World club is kinda scammy but if you're planning on drinking beer anyway, it's not so bad. Great cocktails. I've gotten f'ed up a few times at "Le Chicago Vieux". Outside seating is fun. It's very middle-class, Applebee's but it's fun! Only gripe is the prices...it's kind of expensive for what it is. But I'll keep going back.

I never really post bad reviews but when its needed its needed. This place we have tried on occasion both her and on the west side. I can honestly say its not worth the trip in. My family and I had dinner here last night and I am really disappointed again! we chose Old Chicago so we could have a large selection of foods for 6 different people with different palates. As my wife and I entered there is about 5 employees servers I think just standing in the front waiting area and she says jovially hey we are finally here thanks for waiting for us!!! hahahaha. Not one of them even smiled they basically didn't even want to see another customer it seemed. We then awkwardly stood there while they stared us down (8 PM on a Friday night) and looked at our party of 6 as if it were 10 minuets to closing time. finally the host greats us and asks how many in our party we said 5 and he had a real hard time trying to figure out were to seat us in an almost empty dining room. We finally get a table and the waitress again is kind of harried as if she just caught a 12 top at closing and just can't believe her luck Shit!. Not impressed at all from the get go........ she finally warms up and realizes that we are not gonna be that kind of finicky table we just want to eat and get going. she realizes this as a table that just wants to get some food and head back to the west side of town so she is then very relieved and starts to at least talk a bit. Over all never have been impressed probably never will be... Sandwiches for the girls and pasta for my wife a single serve pizza for my sons and a burger for me. for this pleasure I drop 107.00 including tip that was not earned. NOPE NOPE NOPE would rather do a burger at the King or even drastically saying eating at the all you can eat trough at Old town Buffet next time dont waiste your time there is better selection out there kids.

Sorry to say it'll take a lot to earn back my business. After years of frequenting this establishment on a very regular basis, we had nothing but good or GREAT experiences until about the last 10 months. This all culminated on our most recent visit this evening. We were there for nearly three hours - and not because we were dawdling at the end of a meal. Firstly, it took over 20 minutes for our appetizers to arrive. Once we ordered entrees, over another 30 mins. One of our party ordered a vegetarian stromboli, which our waitress volunteered would be filled with extra veggies, only to be delivered a very meaty stromboli and have to wait another 30 ("expedited") minutes for a replacement (at which point everyone else had finished their meals). When the check came, I couldn't believe that there was not even a discount for the error and absurd wait for the meal that was ordered (totaling over an hour after the order). When that was pointed out to the waitress, 20 minutes elapsed without an adjusted check. Meanwhile, our waitress went straight to bussing and waiting on other tables - again, no regard for our wait. I finally asked for a manager, who removed the charge for the stromboli and apologized. Another 10 minutes and we were finally finished getting rung up. We have had the same waitress before. She has been more interested in flirting with customers than waiting on her tables. They seem to be losing good servers and bartenders, with really poor replacements. This has been one of our favorite haunts. I have been so increasingly disappointed lately that I really don't know if I'll go back after tonight - and that says a lot for a place where we have been regulars.

Old Chicago does exactly what they say they will ... Serve great deep dish pizza and salads, on time, with great service. The staff is professional and accommodating. Take-out is a good option, too. It's always on time and delicious. We'll definitely be back.

Bar none, the best pizza I've ever tasted (had The Classic, and the Veggie-7), both 14-inchers. And though I'm no connoisseur, the beer selection was also excellent. Service staff was exceptionally helpful and attentive, and earned an extra tip.

If you are looking for Chicago deep dish pizza, this is not the place to come. We came on a Wednesday afternoon, immediate seating. The service was good enough, although the griping about the music with the kitchen staff within earshot was unprofessional (true, but unprofessional). My order was incorrect, Roma tomatoes baked into my pie turned into cold garden tomatoes on top of my "thick" crust pizza. We also didn't get the garlic bread that came with our meal. Beer selection is nothing special, surprised they only had one beer from Chicago. My son, a true pizza lover, has declared there is no good pizza in Oregon.

killer 1 topping pizza for $2 +.50 per additional topping. Didn't get the chance to check out the rest of their late night happy hour menu, but I'll for sure be going back. I did wait at the bar for 5-10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me though, but once I walked into the diner, I was helped out quickly and with a friendly attitude.

Do you live in the Clackamas/Happy Valley/Milwaukie area? Do you like meeting friends late night for some beers? This is the spot for you. An excellent beer selection with a great price ($5 for 22oz or so), their happy hour is awesome for sharing or for yourselves. I recommend the nachos if you're super hungry.

Went here the other night food was good but be patient the service is a bit on the slow side. I sat in the bar area and when I first got there I think the bartender was the only one working and she was slammed. If you go here make sure you are not in a hurry.

I have not sat in the restaurant section before, so I'm not necessarily reviewing that portion. We sit in the bar where our favorite server works on Sunday afternoons :) Food is ok. Definitely better than most similar type restaurants. And they always have my favorite beer Mac & Jacks African Amber! :)

First time here in quite a while...so disappointed. I ordered a salad (for sure was out of a bag) BUT the overwhelming scent of sour beer made me want to turn and run. However, the hubs and I were in a time crunch so we stayed, begrudgingly. Definitely will not be in a rush to return. Oh yeah...for a place with such a decent beer selection they have lousy cider options on tap. FYI: Angry Orchard is NOT real cider AND Crispin is owned by the same company. Double boo.

My husband and I just moved to Milwaukie and we have been looking for a good pizza place, and finally found it!!! Normally we like to only patron local restaurants, but had been disappointed up to this point with finding good pizza. (Zappo's was disappointing. Pietro's was good, cracker crumb crust style, but a child filled atmosphere, luckily they had beer :/ ) At Old Chicago we had outstanding service with Stephanie. And then Matt the manager greeted us, and welcomed us to the neighborhood. He gave us a coupon for our next visit. Awesome. Make us feel welcome, but didn't overwhelm us. The beer selection was over the top. Stephanie gave us samples to try. Great service. We ordered off the happy hour menu. Great value. I ordered the margarita pizza. It came with fresh basil, and was outstanding. My husband ordered a linguisa, tomato and cheese pizza, and it had great flavor! Good quality ingredients. Great atmosphere. Not too fancy, comfortable feel. Will definitely be back!!! Cheers!!

Used to love coming here- awesome happy hour, and used to get lucky and have the same awesome waitress in the bar (middle aged woman). The last 3 experiences have been unacceptable, each one being with the same bartender and waitress combo (younger male and female). Short pours and a waitress that has to be reminded everything 4x and STILL finds a way to mess it up, while talking smack about our table to the bartender loud enough for us to hear. Blonde bimbo idiot. We made the mistake of giving them a 3rd try, now I will never be going back, and neither will any of my friends that once frequented it with me. HORRIBLE late night service. I don't even know how the same duo is still employed there. I wish I knew their names to give to a manager. Very disappointing.

Was excited to get authentic deep dish pizza. Dining room was EMPTY at 7 PM on a Sunday Night. That should have been a clue. Lots of people drinking at the bar. Pizza was NOT GOOD. It tasted like a frozen pizza warmed up. If I were you I'd stay home and order from Pizza Hut instead.

I had the chicken mac. It was really creamy. Good amount of cheese. They use cool noodles for it...ive never seen them used anywhere else outside of culinary school. Service was good. My drink glass was never empty. The waitress was patient with my little girl and her not knowing what she wanted. Its a classic large chain food joint. So j dont usually expect much from it but it isnt bad. I have also tried their version of a three meat combo. The crust is decent..it was done well and not too crispy or soggy in the middle. With as much food as they serve, and the food cost from most of the food service product providers, i would expect the price to be less. Considerably less.

Came in and was told they would be happy to turn on the Timbers game only to find out that was a lie. If you can't support a local pro team don't say you do.

It has come to my attention recently that the style of pizza I've grown up loving is supposedly from Chicago. So we noticed this place the other day and decided to go for it after a scavenging session at the Goodwill across the street. Just like in Italy, this restaurant focuses on the three P's (pizza, pasta, and panini), and while the pasta was indeed tempting, we stuck to our original mission and went with the Veg 7 pizza sub artichoke hearts for the roasted green chilis. The verdict? Well, I liked the pizza overall. The crust was deep enough and crispy where it needed to be, but there was something unexpectedly sweet in the mix. I thought it was the sauce, but my partner pointed to the crust as the culprit. They have a nice selection of beer, and we shared a Chimay for just about the same price as buying it from Trader Joe's. The side caesar was tasty and not too heavy on the dressing. Our server was mostly attentive but forgot about the extra napkins we asked for. Ah well-- it was a bit busy. All in all, I'd stop in again if I were in the area and had a craving for pizza, but I wouldn't drive cross town specifically to eat here.

The bar is your standard white noise pub (read: chain). I have two grudges: 1. no gluten free crusts for pizza. 2. The wings were INCREDIBLY salty. Think salt lick.

  • Eric A.

I probably should only give this one a 4 star but I just enjoy going here once a month that it felt like it deserved a 5 star. I love how you can get things like green chilis on their pizza. The double decker club sandwich is one of my favorite there and those fries are so freaking good when they are warm. For the most part I have had good service except one time but at that time it was just due to being outside and the waitress being slow.

We eat here often and take advantage of their great happy hour eats. Wait staff is always top notch. We usually set in the bar for the good atmosphere. But it can be tough to get a seat here on the weekend evenings.

Pizza place delivers yummy cookie I know that people come here for the world beer tour and good pizza, but I've got a secret for you --- their big chocolate chip cookie will knock your socks off. I'm a chocolate chip cookie fanatic but am often disappointed when I order one out. They tend to be too dry or hard and not as fresh as homemade. This is so not the case with Chicago Pizza's version. Their big cookie comes right in the cast iron skillet that it was cooked in, so it's warm, gooey and yummy! It's cut like a pizza too, so you can eat just a couple of slices if you like and bring the rest home. Be sure to warm it up again, though, in the oven. Tip: Definitely say yes when they ask if you'd like to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to it.

I love Old Chicago. It's a good place to go if you just want to chill with friends and have a couple of beers. I've been here so many times they know me, so that's fun. The food is basic Italian/American fare, and it's pretty good. I recommend the Italian Nachos, Pizza Rolls, Artichoke Dip, Strombolis, the Big Cookie, and of course the beer. This Old Chicago has taco night, burger night, and wing night. The best thing is they always have at least 110 beers available. They have a cool thing called World Beer Tour where you get prizes just for drinking beer.

The service has always been good. We have found the pizza's have been good but on the pricey side for alot of people! This is a good place to hit for happy hour and enjoy a beer (Great selection!) and have some food! Now that the bar is smoke free it can be enjoyed!

When a place claims to serve Chicago-style deep-dish pizza, it had better be like the kind you get in Chicago. Sadly, this was just a thicker crust pizza with rubbery cheese that was overpriced.

I used to travel a lot on business and used to go to the Old Chicago in Denver and Lakewood. Missed this place. Casual atmosphere, clean, good service, great beer selection and the pizza rolls are awesome!

Your basic OC. I try to stay away from franchises, but the HH is decent for a last minute thing. I am not sure if they still have the promotion of drinking all the beers form around the world, but they do have a lot of beers to choose from. Your wallet might yell at you, but if you have a craving, it must be fulfilled.

Great service. Food seems to be better than the other Old Chicago locations in my opinion. One time I ordered out because I was at the salon next door and the gal was kind enough to offer to help me carry my food to the salon; so sweet! Met the new manager as well and she rocks! I highly recommend this location! Get the mozzarella sticks :D!

Sorry Old Chicago. You failed me again. I hadn't been back in probably 15 years and decided to give it another shot. This time with my best friend and our daughters. The staff was nice enough but obviously doesn't communicate. One said they'd give our order to the other but over an hour later we still had no food. THey then apologized and said it would be right out but it was another 20 minutes. (about the time it takes to actually cook it) One daughter's lasagna was good so she was happy. My friend and my daughter ordered cheese burgers with cajun spicy fries. They got cold burgers with meat that looked like a processed blend and regular fries with no seasoning. I had a mediterranean salad with wilted lettuce and zero flavor and the worst calamata olives I've ever tasted. Sorry, none of us will ever be back. Oh, and the vodka lemonade (tall lemondrop) tasted like plain (powdered) lemonade. Where was the vodka? Thanks for comping us 1 drink but it just didn't make up for the slow service on a dead Tuesday night and the bad food.

I came here on a Friday night a few weeks ago with co-workers. What a great way to kick off the weekend - we had a blast! Not just because we had good company, but because the wait staff was super friendly, the beer selection was sick, and the pizza was delicious! There was one pizza in particular that has all meat toppings on it (I can't remember what they call it) that was especially tasty, but all three of the pies we ordered were very generous to our tastebuds. I will definitely be back, with or without my co-workers!

Good spot to grab a drink and bit to eat. The bar area was chill and cozy. Service was good...then again it could have been that we were with the husband of the regional general manger who knew everyone in the place. Good beer list. Happy hour menu seems good. We had a large sampler (consisting of everything from buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks, to veggies), drinks, and good conversations. Cheers!

  • Julia W.

Double boo.

  • Aimee A.

Cheers!

I never woulda found myself enjoying the whole restaurant/bar combo, but this place (like the Gateway location) provides good atmosphere and good food. All the beers score style points as well.
