Just finished the breakfast Choripan. Absolutely delicious and spicy. The chimichurri has zang. The atmosphere is upbeat and friendly. I definitely recommend coming here! They were playing Sam Cooke and other great oldies! New favorite breakfast spot!!

Really good, solid sandwich. Not the best sandwich I've ever had, but it's one of those places that sells $7 sandwiches that taste like you spent $12 on them and that always makes me happy.

First visit to this establishment, busy place and parking can be difficult. Had the hot Italian sandwich with grilled peppers which was very good. They also make their own sausages so I bought a few of most of them to take home to try and will review at a later time. Definitely a place that I will return to and try other selections. Also be aware that it has limited seating due to it's small interior.

Pork fennel and chicken sausage with peppers were delicious. Great, friendly service. Reasonable prices. Solid eatery.

I had been craving Feastworks since I looked at their menu online and once I ordered I was happy to have made the stop. The place is easy enough to find, the seating was good. There was a handy chalkboard up on the wall to help you see what was available and what I noticed immediately was everything was made to order. I watched as the cook fried my egg and cooked my house made sausage on the grill. Word of advice, come hungry. The portions here were big enough for two small eaters. I couldn't finish the super flavorful diced potatoes because I wanted to make sure I had room for everything else. The little pickled peppers added just the right amount heat to an already dazzling dish.

This place was great for brunch! Great coffee, mimosas and had a delicious scramble!

I ordered the sausage sandwich with peppers and onions. The sausage was huge and is house-made. I expected the sandwich to come with mozzarella cheese, marinara, and green peppers like a usual sausage and peppers sandwich, but instead it was just a sausage on a grilled buttered bun with aoli, sauteed onions, and sliced jalapenos. It definitely was unexpected, and I was a little disappointed at first, but when I got into it I actually really liked the combination of the spicy jalapenos with the cool and creamy aoli. I did miss the cheese though, and I think it should have been served with fries or something as an accoutrement. The man behind the counter was very friendly and attentive. He said he made the sausage himself, I think he's the owner.

The Choripan: An artisanal hot dog for your grown-ass-woman lunch. Ingredients include house-made pork sausage instead of Ball Park franks, aioli and chimmichuri instead of relish and mustard, a flaky and fresh baguette instead of Costco's Kirkland Signature, and an over-easy egg for added effect and flavor. Also, a side of marinated olives because you're a show-off. I don't think a lot of people know that Feastworks is operating as a deli. GUESS WHAT, IT IS There wasn't a line to be spoken of and my food was promptly delivered to a bistro table outside in the sidewalk sun. It's a perfect mid-day escape from office hell and even your routine soup & salad lunches from New Seasons. I'll be back with my fancypants on.

This is our New favorite brunch spot. No waiting, delicious food, good coffee. It's small, but there is some outdoor seating as well. Meat galore but there are veggie options too! The breakfast potatoes were cooked to perfection and paired with a delicious aioli.

Great casual breakfast place. I had the Mild chorizo and egg sandwich served w chimichurri and creamy garlic aioli. It was simple but perfectly executed and very filling. I think breakfast sandwiches are one of my favorite foods and this is one of the best I have had in a long while. I took my parents here after a walk along the river and across the Sellwood bridge. I would do this again with future out of town guests. It's a good way to show off the city. The shop also sells their meats made in house for you to cook with at home. All were reasonably priced. The staff were helpful in making recommendations and checked in with us frequently despite being a walk up/pay first place this made us feel welcome.

I don't know what it was called, chupacabra?, but 2 sausages on a bun with and egg and some green sauce....delicious! Nice guys working the store, I snacked down and eyed the deli counter for some future purchases. Exactly the kind of local shop I want to support - nice folks, great product.

I started working at CarMax in Clackamas recently, and have been looking for more lunch spots around the Milwaukie area. That is, ones that aren't at the Clackamas mall, since I go there a lot and get a bit tired of the same ol' thing. Well, while on my lunch break looking for Mexican food and somehow not finding it, I ended up driving into Sellwood and stumbling upon this place. I've probably driven past a hundred times when I used to commute over the Sellwood Bridge, and never really noticed it, since I'm not usually looking for restaurants during an A.M. commute. I came in, decked out in my CarMax uniform, feeling very un-hip. But, the person who both rang my order and served the food was friendly, helpful, and accommodating to my vegan diet. I ordered the Grilled Seasonal Veggie sandwich, which their menu advertised as being able to be served vegan-style. Also got the grilled potatoes. The food came quickly enough, and although the server accidentally brought me mayonnaise-based aioli with my potatoes, he quickly apologized and brought me ketchup instead. (I'm not that uptight of a vegan where I'll attack someone if they accidentally forget. It's more of just a dietary preference.) The sandwich was big, definitely enough food, and delicious! The bread was perfect. Although it took be about 10-15 minutes to get to this place from my work, I think I'll be back for another one of these sandwiches.

Oh. My. God. Oh my god. Oh my god!! Yesss!!! These sandwiches give my tongue orgasms. With every bite, my eyes roll back in my head and I moan in ecstasy. I've tried 5 different sandwiches from Feastworks and every single one of them have been phenomenal. But my favorite one is the corn-beef and pickled slaw. Holy shit. My tongue is getting horny and salivating just thinking about it. Good job, Feastworks. I'm hooked.

Stopped into the deli for breakfast recently and I did the thing I do when another great spot opens in my neighborhood. That thing I do is a happy dance. I did it privately, because, well, there's not a whole lot of space for happy dancing in there. there's too much space taken up by the delicious food making for customers to be doing their happy dances all over the place. SO - I got the egg sandwich, but I added chicken sausage and subbed the cheddar cheese for pimento cheese. And let's just say it blew. my. mind. The meat was done to perfection, the bread was chewy and delicious, and topped with secret sauce and a huge heap of pimento. One thing I learned is that everything is better with pimento cheese on it. EVERYTHING. I can't wait to go back and try everything else on the menu!

What a find, we were in the same comples to go to the Columbia outlet and happened on this place around the corner. We got the bratwurst and the pork sandwich, both yum. I particulary loved the greens on the pork sandwich. There's a healthy helping of olive oil on that so if you don't like olive oil, this is not the sandwich for you. Both served on a french baguette. The arugula salad was simple with olive oil and was so refreshing...best part, it was only $4! I've never been able to order an arugula salad anywhere at that price.

Holy shit. 3 of us ate here, with a baby in tow. Everything on the table was delicious. The highlight for me was def the Slow Roasted Fennel Rubbed Pork. Simple, super flavorful, simple, satiating. The sausage frites had an ample portion to share the fried potatoes, (served with aioli,) and the owner brought out some Shishito Peppers, which are going on the menu tonight I think. Can't wait to come back.

Got the Italian sausage sweet sandwich with grilled onions, it was definitely an awesome sandwich. I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie which was probably a mistake, costed me $2.50 and it didn't seem too fresh. However that's not the reason they have such good reviews so I wasn't too worried about that. Good food, awesome sausages, great service, will definitely go again.

Just visiting the area and tried this place for the first time. I am hooked!...want to come back again. Had the roasted fennel rubbed pork sandwich and warm spring vegetable salad. Both were great but the sandwich was memorable. Parking is limited.

A quick tangent: After being single for the first time in ten years I started up on okcupid to see what was what. Naive to the ways of online dating I was PUMPED for my first date and thought "Who knows? I could meet this person who sounds AMAZING on their profile and we are probably going to spend the rest of our lives together and have babies". I dropped $200 on a dinner at Racion that culminated in a pork shoulder entree that was...disappointing. The slow roasted fennel pork shoulder at feastworks makes the shoulder at Racion look like my dads pork chop when I was a kid. Which is not a compliment. In fact feastworks may have the best sandwiches in Portland. And also, online dating is also a little like going to a fancy pants gastronomy focused restaurant and getting my dads porkchop. Sorry dad.

This place Delivers on Flavor Town. If you like neighborhood Deli's this is the place for you. Their Sausages is the best in Sellwood. If you need a quick Breakfast or Lunch then hit them up. You will not not be Disappointed.

A follow-on review since last August. I wish I could give the place ten stars, as they are head and shoulders above any other deli/cured meat offerings in the city. This includes places like Otto's and Edelweiss. Kenny and Zuke's should slink away in the night. The owners are two energetic and ambitious people who are doing their best (and succeeding) to produce top-notch products. Since my last visit, when they first opened, they've started selling a variety of cured meats and sausages, along with several versions of pate, containers of duck fat, lard, bacon fat, etc. I have yet to have a bad meal at Feastworks. The sausage plate is nearly enough for two people, piled high with fried (fresh) potatoes and a large pinwheel sausage, accompanied by wonderfully piquant home-canned red peppers. For deli meats, I first tried the salami, which is very good. But when he started making the spicy salami, I switched allegiance. This stuff is totally addictive, with just enough heat to make it interesting, but without sending you scrambling for the milk to quench the fire. This morning I fried up some of their bulk sage breakfast sausage and can report that it's terrific. Best in town, IMO, and my new go-to for sausage gravy or sausage stuffing. The day they outgrow the present location and move on will be a sad day for me.

Great new neighbhood food spot. Lots of meat choices for the carnavours and veggie options for the vegetables heads. Breakfast is great and served all day. You can substitute potatoes for grilled beets, cauliflower and yams on the American breakfast and make all your wildest dreams come true.

WOW....and more WOW!!! Feastworks is a major find. The breakfast sandwiches are out of this world - I highly recommend the roasted veggie on a french roll. My husband and I fought over who's breakfast was the best, and it was truly a toss up between my veggie and his salami and egg on a brioche bun. We couldn't leave without buying the sausage pinwheels and several hot italian sausages. These have quickly become a staple in our house for dinner. Check this place out as soon as you possibly can :)

Being my first time there, I was amazed by how expansive their menu is & how many vegetarian options there are. I'm definitely going back to try their fried cauliflower and assume they will be our first choice for breakfast in the future.

Truly an excellent deli. The pork sandwich is a fantastic blend of strong flavors. Hubbie had the chicken sausage sandwich and was impressed as well. Potato bites are perfect -crispy on the outside pillows in the middle. Yummy dip. Very pleasant staff. Deli case offerings looked great. Overall, a great alternative to our usual Otto's.

Lucky to find Feastworks! Hired Feastworks on the recommendation of another caterer who was busy the evening of my party. Dinner for 25 at my house. I can't s.ay enough ...i don't think i will ever want to cook for my dinner parties again! Wonderful food, and lots of it..i will have enough leftovers to feed my family for days! The kitchen was left spotless, food in containers in my fridge. Server was professional, efficient, and personable. Cannot wait to hire them again!

First, I stopped in and got a small jar of (pork) rillettes for a little party. Very delicious but a bit smoother and milder than other rillettes I've had. Next time, I had the breakfast sandwich with the Basque sausages and an egg. Awesome! Great French rolls from an excellent Viet bakery. Last night I had some pate de compagne that I got there as a deli item. Super good! Far more interesting and "porky" than the rillettes. The guys are really nice and they know what they heck they're doing. Artisanal meats and salads and sammies! Check them out.

Overpriced. Sausage had a weird flavor. Egg and cheddar breakfast sands had like a mayonnaise on them which wasn't good. Bacon was overcooked.

The breakfast ham (sandwich) was delicious! The potatoes in the American breakfast were cooked perfectly - crispy on the outside. Definitely coming back to try their hot sandwiches.

Stopped in for lunch, really excited to have this new place in the neighborhood. I ordered the kale and sausage bread pudding. About five other people who came in after me got their food before me. So I asked about my order and the response I received was "oh that takes about 30 min, I forgot to tell you" Horrible service, but eh, that's Portland. I let it go. Once I actually got my food it was a ham savory bread pudding so I told them this wasn't what I ordered, "yeah, we're out of that *shrug*" When I told them they really should have let me know that they looked at me like I was the unreasonable asshole!!! I am tired of spending money to be treated like crap. I won't be back.

Well damn! I've only been here once, today, but I had what may have been the best sandwich I've ever had. It was the slow roasted fennel rubbed pork sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked and delectably seasoned pork on a delicious roll. Nicely done. Wow. I'll be back but it may be hard to sample the rest of the menu because I don't want to pass another one of those up.

Best breakfast in SE Portland. This hidden jewel on busy Tacoma Ave has great housemade meats, eggs, and delicious combinations of sauces and condiments. Slow cooked meat, egg, pickled onion, arugula on brioche was superb. 3 visiting foodies raved over Ethan's creative combinations. No line for breakfast a welcomed surprise.

Feastworks is awesome. Homemade sausages, yummy pork, and the pimento cheese is the bomb! But they need tea! I love tea! That would be my only complaint. Great for catering, too. Really good, nice people.

Very friendly service, fabulous hot chicken sandwich, AMAZING warm autumn vegetable salad. The veggies were melt in your mouth delicious and the arugula just perfect! Oh, and the kale Caesar was very fresh - Yum!!!

When Erik and I agreed to get hitched the first thing we decided was to skip the ceremony and focus on a killer party with great food and libations. Our initial thought was Simpatica, however, after asking some very reliable sources we were referred (By a fistful of respectable chefs/ business owners) to contact Ashley and Ethan of Feastworks. We are over the moon we did. We met with Ashley a couple of times to get the menu hammered out. It was exactly what we envisioned. Sweetbreads with applewood smoked bacon and black eyed peas, fennel rubbed pork, picked octopus with roasted potatoes and sweet peppers, chicken al mattone (Chicken under a brick), two salads, and much more if you can imagine. Originally my husband and I had planned to have Olympic Provisions take care of the cocktail snacks but TWO DAYS before the wedding I decided that it would be easiest to have Feastworks handle everything and contacted Ashley to see if she would be up to the challenge and she was. They made some amazing finger foods and Ethan's Charcuterie was sensational. I would eat that pork rillettes daily. Poor Ashley had to deal with my multiple impulsive emails with questions that I could have probably figured out on my own but for whatever reason my brain had stopped working. She was always quick to respond and VERY VERY patient. I am forever grateful to Feastworks and Union Pine. It's been a few months now and people still talk about the food they enjoyed at our wedding. Feels great. I look forward to another excuse to hire Feastworks.

We even ate their for lunch last weekend. cute. Kids will like their hot dogs. Very friendly team there. Quality. Tonight we grill sausages from Feastworks!
