Not the best pizza in town but good for a reasonable price. My favorite pizza places are a little more $$ for what you get. Bellagio's crust is better than most others I've had, lighter and not as dense.

Good lunch deal: slice, salad and a drink for reasonable price. Got a fresh made ceasar and garlic chicken. Pretty good. Could use some seating/decor but for a quick drop in it was good

This pizza is like so good I'm incapacitated. They forgot tomatoes but gave me a generous side. Not a crazy fan of baked tomatoes anyways. Cest last vie

I ran over the Bellagios after a very relaxing evening at Healthy Nails and ordered a large pizza real quick before I met a friend. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this pizza. It was puffy, like Brandi M said. Get the pesto base (um, if you like pesto, that is). Order ahead, though, because it took about 20 minutes, and I was late to the friend. Sor-ry. and sorry my car smells like garlic.

It was our very first night in our new townhouse and there was not a stitch of furniture anywhere. Our furniture would not arrive for another week and we were HUNGRY! And tired. Low and behold, we noticed a magnet on our refrigerator for Bellagios Pizza. Hurray! Delivery took about 40 minutes. The pizza was OK, nothing great but it served it's purpose. Paul and I both were saying that we wouldn't go out of our way to order it again but for our first night in our new home it was acceptable. We happily sat on the floor of our new kitchen eating pizza. It was a very fun night. OK food but really great memory!

I can't give them a great rating when the last three times I ordered from them they were more than 20 minutes late - and the last time, they delivered a cheese pizza to me, complete with someone's hair baked right into the cheese. Sorry, Bellagio's. Maybe some hairnets for employees are in order?

When they show some care - they produce some fairly yummy pizza and sandwiches. But they often don't. The last couple of times I've ordered delivery - they've either forgotten something (like chips, or sauce for dipping) or simply gotten it wrong. I called last night - just to let them know that I hadn't gotten pizza sauce for dipping my calzone and that there was practically no cheese - when I had ordered extra cheese on it. The female manager apologized about the sauce - then told me that she had made the calzone herself - and there WAS extra cheese on it. I wasn't complaining - and I told her that - I wanted to let them know that they'd missed those items so that maybe they could improve their attention to detail. I wasn't even looking for an apology - but I was NOT looking to be told that I was lying or mistaken in my statement about the food. Perhaps a different manager should be on duty on a Saturday night - one who has a bit of customer service interest / experience. I think it's time to give up on Bellaggio's. I can't afford to keep paying for food that isn't made the way I ordered it.

The good: the pizza is solid. That's the ONLY reason I keep coming back. Well, and I live around the corner, so there's the convenience factor. The bad: the service is questionable, at best. I've managed restaurants from pizza joints to fine dining, so I'm not off-base here. When a customer walks up to the counter you greet them. Simple. Acknowledge their presence: do not, under any circumstances, ignore them for five straight minutes despite multiple sideways glances at them. I know you know I'm here. Also, a good general rule when dealing with the public is to refrain from being rude directly to them. And indirectly. Also, please know your menu offerings. And if the pizza is going to take 45 minutes to cook before I come pick it up: please tell me that! I came in at the 20 minute mark because that's how long you told me it would be. Now I'm stuck sitting in your cafeteria-style strip mall storefront watching the farcical shenanigans of your employees for 25 minutes when I'd rather be at home consoling my five year old that just threw up her lunch (hence the last-minute take out dinner). I've been to this Bellagio's at least 20 times, and not once has there been an instance where something wasn't off. It would be comical if I weren't the punch line. I beg you, Bellagio's: please train your employees in the simple art of customer service. Your bottom line will thank you.

Im surprised to see so many negative reviews about the quality of service here. Granted, I've only ordered here twice but both times, the person who answered was polite and quick. And both times the pizza arrived before the 45 minute - 1 hour time-frame that was quoted. So I'm going to disagree about the speediness and quality if service. They seem to be pretty on-point. The pizza is really good. If you can nail down a solid pizza crust and sauce then it's easy sailing from there on out... and they have definitely mastered their crust and sauce. I'm usually one of those people who pick the toppings off their pizza and give them away anyway.

Well... Delivery of a pizza to an apartment about ten blocks from the restaurant: Ordered online. Quoted an hour for "ASAP" delivery, which struck me as a pretty dang long time for pizza delivery, but okay.. I figured that they left themselves a big, cushy padding so that they couldn't possibly deliver a pizza late... Fifty five minutes after I ordered, I called, to be sure that the pizza was in fact coming and to try to get an estimate as to how much longer it might be. I was told that a driver had left with my pizza about five to seven minutes earlier, and that my pizza was the only one on the delivery. AWESOME!! MY PIZZA SHOULD BE HERE ANY MINUTE NOW!!! ...any minute now.. Anytime. So, I call again. It is now over an hour since I ordered, so I call again. I. Let the guy that I've inquired after my pizza know that no, I'm not calling from Reed College (uh-oh... This is a bad sign), but rather a different late pizza order. Apologetic guy on the phone tells me that he'll put me on hold while he calls the driver to find out what's going on. I let him know that I'd rather that he call me back when he knows what's happening. Ten minutes after I made this call, I get a call back (thank goodness I asked to not be put on hold!). I'm told (again) that the pizza is being delivered, that the driver had more than one order and that my pizza will be free... Since my wife had already broken down and made herself a sandwich for dinner it was a fairly empty gesture. The pizza finally arrived nearly an hour and fifteen minutes after I had completed my order. "I really have no idea what happened" is what the delivery driver told me when he handed my very late dinner and wife's very early next day's lunch. If you plan to lie to a customer, at least get the lies straight- and never, ever, ever go with an "I don't know".... A possibly rabid squirrel attacked the cashier and we had to take them to the hospital. A couple pizza cooks broke out into a violent knife fight over who was going to have to restock the pepperoni and we had to do police reports. There was a small fire. I locked my keys in my vehicle. A beluga whale mysteriously fell from the sky and landed on my toe, and I was trapped, TRAPPED I say. Anything is better than "I don't know what happened". Presenting competent failure is a better option than professing to have no clue. I'll never get delivery from here again. Heck, I won't do pick up for sure if they can't hit an hour delivery window. I don't want to hang out in a delivery pizza place all night, waiting for "I don't know what happened".

I got the combo pizza and a Cesar salad the other night. I like that they had the gluten free option. I did not like the cesar salad, it was plain Romain lettuce with cesar dressing on the side. The pizza was ok but the sauce on it was not my favorite. I'd eat here again to try it to see if it gets better.

I was really hesitant to review this place, because I knew it was going to be hard. I've always used delivery. Don't bother eating there; it's too small, and you're lucky to get a seat around typical lunch/dinner times. I first started eating the pizza here quite a few years ago, and became enamored with their vegetarian "Oasis" pizza. Though I am a carnivore, I still like a good vegetarian meal once and awhile. But, this pizza brings back bad memories--I ordered one of these pizzas one week, ordered another the next week, and was informed they could not 'serve my house, because I hadn't paid for the last pizza delivered there," WHAAT?!!?!?! How is that even fucking possible? The driver wouldn't even leave until he got paid and got his tip. I've been accused of a lot of things in my life, but pizza robbery?!?! Sheesh. Yeah, fuck yourselves, Bellagio's. Oh, and I don't know how people can say the prices are reasonable--this is the most expensive pizza I've ever seen, $22 for an "Extra-Large" which is around the size of a Papa Murphy's Small. The ONLY reason this place gets two stars is because that Oasis is good, and the wifey likes it, and SHE wasn't accused of anything, so she orders there from time to time. I refuse, until I get an apology, and I HAVE mentioned this to the staff; they seemed to think I was joking... :^(

I moved to Portland just after going gluten-free and was real nervous that I would never feel the sensation of pizza in my mouth ever again. I found Bellagio's and was SO pleased to learn about its GF options. Though it's a pretty tasty treat, there are some deal-breaker aspects: 1. There's an extra charge (pretty common with GF, sadly) AND you can only order it in a Small or Large. I'm not entirely sure why this happens with GF, but it does and I'm not a fan. 2. I decided to order delivery and I've come to realize that you have to order before you even think about getting hungry! Their delivery takes FOREVER! It's disappointing that every delivery time has been quoted an hour, even on basic evening or afternoon times that don't involve busy weekend rushes! 3. I've experienced some real strange customer service decisions when I've gone in. Some minimal friendliness and other times overhearing some undesired background store drama. I've worked in customer service for years, and I know all about what to present to a customer. It's too bad that the delivery times on this place are as disappointing as they are because the pizza isn't terrible at all. There are lots of other places in Portland that offer GF choices, and I'd much rather explore their options in exchange for shorter delivery times.

Decent pizza. However I had a very bad experience with the online order system. I selected the time that I wanted to pick up my pizzas. When I arrived I had to sit around for 25 minutes until they were ready. What's the point of letting the customer choose the time, if they're not going to pay attention to it? No apology or acknowledgement from the staff either. Lame.

New management, terrible service. Very rude. That's why there's so many bad reviews lately. Sad--I loved Bellagio's before. They'll never last if this continues. Hope they can adapt.

I moved to Portland a few months ago. I am originally from RI, home of REAL Italian cooking, with a pizza place called Tony's on every corner. Twenty years in California after that. I have had about a dozen different pizzas here in PDX and not one of them has been as good as Bellagio's. I like their sauces (red and pesto), I like the thickness and texture of the crust. I like their toppings. My only complaint is that they do that thing where they don't spread the toppings out to the crust all the way so you get the last 1/3 of pizza with just sauce to the crust. But other than that little faux pas, the taste is great. I am picky, you'll see my reviews have a lot of 1 and 2 stars. The pizza selection here in SE Portland has left me saddened. Bellagio's fixes that. Good prices too.

Very good pizza and exceptional customer service. They got my order wrong and the delivery driver was clueless about what to do but I got a phone call from the manager who set things right. Try the Oasis pizza, it's very good.

I love Bellagios Pizza, for the price and how easy it is to get, you really cant beat it, and it's delicious too! I have eaten at the one in Gresham and the one at Lloyd center, both of those are great but so far the Sellwood Bellagios is my favorite, the flavor is better, I'm not sure what they do different. My fiancé usually gets the bbq chicken pizza and I usually get a gluten free "create your own" (marinara sauce, spinach, onions, garlic, and feta chees), BEST GLUTEN FREE PIZZA IN PORTLAND!!! Even if I could eat regular pizza I would stick with the GF version, the crust is just amazing! I have also had Mississippi Pizza and Pizza-A-Go Go, both also have gluten free pizza and it's good but not as good (or as cheap) as Bellagios!!

    (5)
  • Jess K.

Just a shout-out to my gluten-free friends out there... Bellagio's has a fabulous gluten-free crust! I think they only come in the small/med. size... but could hardly tell the difference. Hooray for finding a good place to eat out that is gluten-free friendly! Also: service is quick, friendly, and consistent. Yes, a bit more expensive than some pizza joints... but only because it is that much better.

Imagine Wonder Bread meets pasta sauce and cheese, you end up with Bellagios Pizza. It's fast, hot, but not authentic and the dough is filled with air. However, I admit, their service is always respectful, fast, and dependable. The delivery people always find my house, and it isn't easy!

    (4)
  • Rob D.

Oh Bellagios. We've turned to you on so many occasions I almost feel like you should name at least one of the weird combinations we order after us. Here are the reasons we love Bellagios: They're consistently good. They have reasonable prices. The delivery is always as quoted. You can pick-up the pizzas and they sell slices (among other offerings). If you're looking for delivery in the Sellwood area from a pizza joint that isn't one of the giant corporate shit shops, this is one I highly recommend!

  • Chris J.

Not bad, not terrific. Ordered online for delivery, one of the better on-line pizza ordering experiences I have had. Got a large pie with 2 sides of wings. 1 BBQ and 1 spicy - both were good. The pizza menu seems heavily weighted towards chicken, and since we got wings we went for the Real Deal. The sauce was really really good I thought, not overly spiced, just a hint to sweetness and not acidic, for me, the amount of cheese was just right, not slathered on, and the other toppings were great. Unfortunately, the whole thing was built on an uninspired flat tasteless crust that was close to shoe leather tough. Guys, "chew" with reference to breads does not mean "to make tough". But delivery was painless, it arrived hot and in perfect condition, and in a very reasonable time for not a big chain national brand. Please, I beg you, learn how to make a decent crust rather than the frozen store pizza crust your serving and you would have a perfect 5!

    (3)
  • Brandi M.

It's not authentic or anything like Ken's Artisan, but if you appreciate and sometimes get a hankering for that good-old Dominos/Little Caesars of yore but simply cannot bring yourself to revisit that era of your past, Bellagios has a higher-quality version of that puffy, toppings-rich pizza that we have created in our American image. Additionally, the gluten-free dough is one of the better we've found.

    (4)
  • Chris O.

The Costco Combo tastes better and has the same crust. My wife did not believe me so I bought both and put a couple of slices of Costco combo in the Bellagios combo. Bellagios does add a few extra olives, but that was an easy fix. Her first bite was the Costco pizza, she kept looking in the box for another slice that was like that one.. Sorry B, maybe it is your time to do the Domino's challenge and re-find your way. No sauce taste. Crust chewy with zero crisp. Flavor, topping and salt. No real tomato or basil flavors to be found. You are better off with a frozen Pizza.

  • Jae S.

I have ordered from this pizza joint for a few years now and the last few times nicely put has been disappointing. The location in Goose Hollow is awesome, moved and now order from the one in Sellwood. I don't want to spend $21.00 on a cold pizza period and that's how they keep getting delivered COLD. I always tip and pay the delivery charge which added together is another 5 bucks so now were up to $26.00 bucks. I won't be ordering from them anymore:(

    (3)
  • Clea R.

After spending the day being told by many MANY Pizza places that they will not deliver due to the distance (one was 1.9 miles) I was being excited that when I called Ivan at Bellagios in Sellwood he was more than willing to deliver to our Agent. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! I will be ordering from them again.

    (4)
  • Melissa P.

Hey Bellagios! Yeah? Thanks for being there when I'm lazy and hungry, watching football, ANTM, or L&O. Thanks for the freshness of ingredients that my fridge inherently lacks. Thanks for the honest pizza titles like Butcher Block, Very Veggie, and Oasis. A special thanks for the cheesecake slices and pints of haagen-daaz. And of course you'll bring it right to me and my dog will try to bite your nuts off. But, WTF Bellagios with the prices and longass delivery time when I live approx 8 blocks away... Sorry, sorry.. I should just walk to get my pizza. or drive.. I still heart you. (Bellagios backs away from the hug)

    (4)
  • Anne S.

This isn't the greatest pizza I've had but it's pretty tasty. They have a comprehensive website with their full menu and they deliver. The ingredients are fresh and they brush the crusts with olive oil before putting them in the oven. The delivery is fast and accurate and during lunch time they sell pizza by the slice. The clincher is that I entered a contest at another location of Bellagio's to win pizza for a year. Being as that I never win anything I assumed the same would be the case for this drawing. However, I was shocked when I received a phone call stating that I had won the drawing for free pizza for a year. I assumed this would be a free pizza a month but was pleasantly surprised (and worried about looking like a good candidate for weight loss surgery) when I found out it's one free large pizza PER WEEK. Whether you're getting it for free or paying for it, it's worth it.

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.
