This place has great pizza. Take out or take and bake, it's all good. No tables for in shop eating, so pick up and go or they deliver. Wings are delicious too.

16 of us visited Newport to run the marathon two weeks ago. We decided to give this place a try based on good yelp reviews. Jamie took our phone order and helped us get the right amount of pizza and salad to feed 16 very hungry marathoners. 5 XL pizzas and 4 family sized salads arrived in about 45 minutes on a Saturday night and cost us only $120 including tip. Not bad to feed all of us hungry runners! We ate our fills and hobbled happily ever after. Fyi - if you check in before ordering, you get coupons to use on your order. That was great!

We were in Newport for one night and wanted some pizza for an easy and inexpensive dinner. I called to ask several questions about the pizza sizes, their delivery cost, wait time for carry-out, etc, and the person who answered the phone was very friendly and patient with all my questions. When we went in to pick up our order, the person who helped us (John, maybe?) was really helpful. Since we were staying in a hotel, we asked if they had some utensils we could take with us. He went completely above and beyond and gave us plates, forks, knives, napkins, parmesan/peppers, and cups, and packed it all up for us in a bag. He asked us if there was anything else we needed and we left with big smiles on our faces from the great customer service we experienced. The pizza was delicious and so were the cinnamon sticks. This was probably the best experience from beginning to end that I've had at any pizza place. If we are in town and have a craving for pizza, we definitely will be back.

My third attempt at pizza in Newport. Cobblestone, Abbys, and now here. They have been the best of the three. Delivered hot pizza to my door. I cannot find a crust I love in this town! I'm beginning to think it's me and not them. Though my houseguest was also underwhelmed. I will reorder from here over the others. I wish Papa Murphys delivered. So, if you have a need for pizza, tjis place will suffice. Just keep expectations reasonable.

XL pizzas are big. I would say more than the 4-6 advertised. Good pizza and great breadsticks. We ordered the cheesy ones. Great pizza. We were here from out of town and enjoyed the feast. Very friendly staff

Is there any good pizza in Newport? That's what my other asked when, on my way to her house, I asked if I could bring anything. I came to Figaro's to see if I could get a custom pizza. My mom can't eat tomatoes. Could they spread fresh garlic and olive oil on the crust? Then the cheese? Could they put sauce on half of it for me? Mom wanted ham and pineapple. Prosciutto would have been better but Figaro's doesn't have it. They do have a pretty good selection of toppings, however, bound to please anyone. They prepared a large pizza exactly as described above, which I think was about $18, and we decided to have them cook it for us. They can also give it to you to cook but pizza needs a hot oven and I'd rather leave it to the experts and heat it up later. It took about 25 minutes, ten longer than they estimated, but there's a nice little waiting area so I didn't mind. This is strictly take out so the waiting area probably gets some use, as does the kids play corner. The kitchen is 100% visible from the counter and is absolutely spotless. And, the pizza was pretty good! Much better than a chain pizza place and just a few shades below incredible gourmet pizza from a big city -- SF, LA, NY. The employees were very nice and professional and I felt taken care of. Great experience. I'll be back.

Pizza is excellent. More if a gourmet delivery pizza. Delivery within five miles is nice. They are quick and delicious

Very good pizza. The pan crust was crispy enough but still enough chewiness that makes a good crust. One star off for so so breadsticks. I would have preferred to have it topped with garlic butter. It comes with garlic sauce to dip but it is not the same. We had it delivered to The Whaler Motel. Next time we are in town and need a pizza fix, we will order from Figaro's.

Pretty darn good for take and bake pizza. Beware that original crust is actually pan/thick crust and their thick is like Chicago deep dish. We should have asked/gone thin crust because Original was way too much dough!

I LOVE this place! You can pay a little less and take your pizza to bake at home, if you'd like. I am gluten-intolerant AND allergic to eggs so the fact that these guys will make pizza with gluten-free crusts, if asked, which do not contain any egg products is A DREAM for me. I am a HUGE pizza lover... so when I found out I was gluten-intolerant over a year ago, I was pretty much crushed. I could care less about sandwiches and what not in comparison to having to essentially give up pizza. We just moved to Newport and I am absolutely in love with this place's pizza! By now, I've tried my share of gluten-free crusts as well and have been very disappointed by many of them. This one was THE BEST I've had so far! I can't get enough of it! If only they delivered! :) Also, service is rather quick and very friendly. Highly recommended whether or not you are gluten-intolerant or gluten-sensitive! I've had their pepperoni, awesome, their jalapeno, pretty spicy and awesome, and their garlic pizza which I must say was probably my favorite. YUM - when can I eat there again?!? :D UPDATE: I have switched this review from five stars to three stars because I have found actual pizza that is gluten-free that tastes good but is less of the... fast-food variety? Before Figaro's, I had only been able to find gluten-free pizza ONCE and it was so terrible! So, I was very excited about Figaro's. :) But have since discovered that there are MUCH better gluten-free pizza options out there! Hooray! Check my other reviews to find them. WARNING: They are not in Newport, OR. We moved to Eugene. Figa-WHO? ;)

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
