Chris got to the point with most of his review. As someone who would swear by the quality of Shari's, having eaten it many times while living in Spokane, WA, I was VERY VERY disappointed in this meal. The server, Heather, was very friendly, but ineffective. My favorite comment was about how they might not have enough forks, but they definitely had spoons. There were no more than 4 tables occupied while we were there, were there REALLY not enough forks? I ordered the T-bone, medium WELL. The picture Chris posted was of my steak, still bloodied. Yum? That's definitely not WELL at all. When we went to pay the tab, I reminded the server about the drinks being bad and I refused to pay for them. The server looked surprised that I would not want to pay for an undrinkable beverage and hesitated before removing the charge. The manager heard me refuse to pay (I saw him acknowledge) and THEN he came over to "make sure" the drinks were removed. Sure. Like you were going to offer. We will never go back to this location, no matter how hungry we are. I cannot believe they can even call themselves a Shari's establishment.

I stupidly keep going back. The staff is either really good or horrible. The one morning lady is happy to argue with you if you don't like something. Yes, your grapes and melons are sometimes spoiled, get over it! Sorry for that digression. The cooks are pretty good but they will burn eggs if you let them. It's Shari's, what do you want?

Let's be reasonable about our expections... It's Shari's. We go there to eat normal food that we don't feel like preparing ourselves. And for the pie. I went in for lunch but the breakfast menu was too tempting to pass up - I LOVE eggs benedict. And it is not something that I will ever make at home so I indulge whenever possible, though I probably will skip it from now on at Shari's. First off, when I walked into the restaurant it took about 4 minutes for someone to acknowledge me, even though there were a couple people behind the counter and walking by. I kept looking around for the 'Please seat yourself' sign but there really wasn't one there so I stood there and waited. After being shown to a table (there weren't any booths open - on a Monday at 11am - so they aren't doing badly), I waited some more for the waitress to come over, and after ordering waited about 15 minutes for my food. It wasn't terrible but seemed like a lot of waiting. Thankfully I didn't have to wait to pay when I left. Back to the eggs benedict. It wasn't that great. I only ate half and that was a struggle. The stuffed hashbrowns seemed like a good idea but the ratio of sour cream to potatoes was way too high and made them seem gross. The best part about my meal was listening to the people one table away - they were so loud I'm sure the whole restaurant could hear - it was quite entertaining. The pie case looked pretty delicious. I'd go back just to try the pie.

Run! Run away while you still have the chance! I mean, it's Shari's so my expectations weren't too high but the experience I had at this Shari's was unacceptable! I went with my family and we all had breakfast for dinner. I started to wonder if by the time my dinner came it would be breakfast time! They weren't that busy but the wait was ridiculous. We got mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. When they finally came, instead of a golden delicious brown, they were a pale tan, lukewarm, and doughy tasting, we should've sent them back but decided to deal with the greasy little soaked hard cheese torpedoes. We patiently waited for our dinner breakfast to come as we sucked on our empty glasses awaiting refills. When breakfast finally came it was not as pictured. My turkey bacon was cold, my biscuits had barely any gravy, and the hash browns were grease with a side of shredded potato. My poor mother who ordered the holiday Benedict, eggs Benedict with spinach and pesto, did not even receive the pesto. When she asked for a side of it, they brought her a dish of parsley. Ummmm ok? Her hash browns were even more pathetic than mine. In fact, there was barely enough there to consider it a side of hash browns. Bad service, even worse food. Save your pennies and don't even bother stopping!

STAY AWAY!!!! so sadly i used to go here often because it's the only place open at 2 am. but it's still terrible. one time i wen't with 5 friends and we all wanted to split the bill evenly on our debit cards. it took them forever to figure it out, even the manager couldn't make it work. they where all extreamly rude about the situation just made us stand there for almost 20 min. finally they just told us that we would each have to pay for our meals seapratly instead of spliting evenly. i almost just walked out because of how rude they where. but yet I still went back. overall the food is terrible and never cooked right. at this point if something is wrong i don't even tell them because it takes them forever to fix it and they are always rude about it. there is only one lady that is nice and she normally works the nights, but even then she is alone and overwhelmed by the work.

Waiting to be seated takes way to long. Getting acknowledged can take 15 mins. The waitresses are very nice but seating people seems to take back seat. Never have the soup they advertise as for sale. Not customer friendly. Butternut squash soup was not available multiple times. Many problems with the management.

WOW... so incredibly annoyed. Came in... the two waitresses look like they either are completely lost or pissed off at being here. They act as if they are being bothered by us, the customer. We were seated and gave our drink order and it took her 10 minutes to get an iced tea and a root beer. Then 15 mind later, took our food order... and it took literally 45 minutes to get our food. Food was cold and not what was ordered. Sent it back twice and it's STILL NOT correct!!! OMG!!! Petra (who was not our waitress) came over to try to take care of the issues. Petra the awesome waitress has done everything to try to make it right. The one saving grace of tonight's meal is Petra.

My husband and I come here every once in s while for breakfast on the weekends. Our food has always been good and the staff is always friendly . It doesn't get 5 stars because we usually have to wait a while before getting seated or even greeted as we walk in.

Terrible salty food. Hot turkey sandwich worst ever! Hamburger wasn't even edible. That was after 30 minutes of waiting for our food. Not busy at all. Maybe 5 tables between 3 waiters and a 'new' manager, 'new' cook. Sounded like passing the buck. Update... my mouth felt like I ate salt out of the salt shaker!

Very slow and not worth the price. Quality isn't there. They can't justify charging the same as other breakfast places when they don't deliver comparable service.

"Too bad" Shari's used to good be a good place to meet. All it would take is a little cleaning, servers and cook's that care and look at themselves in mirror before they leave the house. Kitchen management that would order real food (not instant and frozen). The waitress was nice enough, some of them are really trying, and coffee was ok. Prices are high for the quality.

Food is good, not the best but good enough. The waiting time for the food isn't so great but time flies when you have someone to chat with. I would recommend if you want to try something news the waffles & pies are great!

Very slow. It wasn't very busy, yet line at the door and many empty tables. Waited forever for the check.

Could not choose 0 stars, so 1 it is. While trying to decide where to go for dinner, the wife and her friend convinced us to go to Shari's. Apparently, it is good everywhere EXCEPT this location. We were seated in a fair amount of time, at a table with two napkins and butter knives as the extent of the place settings. Our drinks came out, and both sodas had very weird tastes. Looking at them, it seemed like the CO2 could be out, and it was the flatness that was making the soda taste, off. The server, manager and a cook all tasted the sodas and said they didn't drink either of those flavors, so they couldn't know what they should taste like. Our food finally comes out, we ask our server if we could get some silverware to which she replied, "we've been running low, let me see if I can find some. I know we at least have some spoons." Seriously? We order chicken fried steak, eggs benedict and a way undercooked t-bone steak, all of which having more than a spoon would be handy for. What happens when you have more than 4 tables in your restaurant hoping to eat the "food" on their plates? Do they have to share forks? After choking down as much as we could, we got the check and noticed the sodas were still on there. We couldn't drink them, and had we not been paying attention, would have paid almost $5.00 for the hell of it. This location of Shari's is horrid. If I ever get convinced to eat at a Shari's again, I would seriously hope they know how to operate a restaurant and cook food to be edible.

Food was ok. Not outstanding. As usual. When is the Shari's in mcminnville going to improve. Hasn't changed since H.S. , which makes it very sad. Because, the one is Newberg is so much better.
