Define the perfect sandwich. It would have jakes in the definition. Great service. A warm and friendly smile when you walk in the door. Cafeteria style service with a great selection of homemade goodies to add to your already amazing lunch. Plenty of parking. A must stop.

Really, really, very exceptional deli. Intimate setting, family run, my husband and I felt welconed like old friends. I had the french dip with added swiss that was so good, I ate almost half before dipping in au jus. Best I've had in a long time. My husband enjoyed Jakes combo with beef barley soup and a green salad. All homemade with excellent quality ingredients. We were highly impressed with the freshness and delucious execution of both dishes, not to mention the delicious fresh bread. All the details come together perfectly at Jakes. We will be back and we will bring friends!

Good place to eat. Small and welcoming. Friends and I had a great breakfast. Fresh coffee, eggs, buttermilk pancakes. Service is good and prompt. Food is made to order so please don't be in to big of a hurry, have another cup of coffee. Owner and employees are very friendly. They have a small parking lot so sometimes it can get crowded, but there is parking along side street. I don't eat here often, due to work schedule, but whenever I do, it's always good.

i was really looking for breakfast - they stopped serving it pretty early. My grandma was with me and she asked for a sandwich. Clearly being an elderly woman with a cane you would think they would assist her a little more instead of pointing to everything with her hands full and tell her to go find a table. When my mom came in one of employees came over and asked her if she would like anything to drink, when she answered with "coffee" the employee proceeded to tell her she can go get it herself - then why did you ask! Also... way overpriced.

I just finished my delicious #3 sandwich, a prosciutto and salami piece of heaven! The bread was fresh, and the meat cut as I watched (and yet the service was FAST), and it was one of the freshest, best tasting deli sandwiches Ive had since moving to Oregon over a decade ago! Only thing I would wish is a discount for Linfield College students!

Love Jakes. The owners are great. We had our after wedding lunch here and they accommodated us so nicely with all our guests last year. You can't go wrong with the good food and homemade cookies and desserts here that either the owners wife or daughter make..love the chocolate cream pie... My hubby and I regulars and can't say enough on how good the food and owners are.

Jake's has the best breakfast in town. We've lived in McMinnville for about 6 years now, and have tried just about every restaurant. We eat at Jake's every Saturday! Try the Chicken Fried Steak!

Heard this was good food. It's ok. The experience?! Walked in for the 1st time: The guy at counter: "First time? Here's the menu, drinks are behind you, creamer's in the cooler to the side of you. When you're ready to order let me know." We placed our order & were told to go "find" a table. ooookkkkkk. Waitress brings food about 10 min. later & actually admonishes us for having silverware already! Huh?! And.....off she goes never to return again. We had to get our own box for leftover food. Paying our bill: the waitress actually pointed down at the bottom of the debit slip where my husband could add the tip & said "that's where you can put the tip". He said "good to know" & drew a line thru it. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK JAKE'S!!!!! That's 3 restaurant's in McMinnville that I won't return to. Dang they're dropping like flies!
