Good food but horrible staff, 5 dirty tables that just sat there the whole time I ate while the waitress just did nothing! Nobody came out and checked on the customers! I might be back but probably not

A random stop equaled a happy and yummy time! Pleasantly surprised how everything was made from scratch and felt "homemade" versus pre packaged. Cozy and clean atmosphere and easy parking. A nice place to visit for a good meal after camping or swimming.

Just opened, replacing the old Swiss Village right along side Hwy 22 in Mehama. They've remodeled, it's clean, staff was just getting trained up and the menu was light, but the food was really good. The beef in my hamburger was much tastier than average, they put their own twist on the fries. My wife's fish and chips were really good. Great family spot on the way over the mountains or coming back from an Opal Creek hike. Will stop by again soon.

Service was a bit slow but that was our only complaint. All the food was homemade, down to the salad dressing and tarter sauce. The stuffed mushrooms were the best! Stuffed with sausage and cream cheese. The battered cod was great. The soup of the day was Toscana. Fabulous! I can't wait to go back and try their pizza.

A huge relief after driving down from Bend to Salem. Fresh, good-tasting, thoughtfully prepared and presented food. Very, very clean, welcoming, the servers were very nice and welcoming.

We really like the pizza and pick one up about once a week. The overall restaurant menu is small and last time we went it took a lot of explanation, but the food is very good.

Clean, great food, friendly staff, and nice bathrooms! I'm so glad I stopped here and not a typical run down restaurant over the pass. I had the feta salad (delicious and only $3!) and a personal pizza. Delicious! I will be back for sure!

What a great stop! When you walk in it is obvious this place is clean and the owner takes pride in the restaurant. I read the reviews about how fresh everything here was and they were spot on. We shared a mush, Swiss burger that did not disappoint. The bun seemed to me like it was fresh baked and you could tell the meat was primo. Fries even had the perfect texture and salt blend. All the employees were pleasant and well kept. Nice parking lot and quick to the table. Will eat here again. Left here feeling great!

This restaurant serves the homemade kinda food I yearn for. Many restaurants now a days don't make anything from scatch. I tried their homemade vinegar ailoli and was not disappointed at all. ( if you don't like vinegar, this is not for you.) Amazing. We had the green bean fries, stuffed mushrooms and burgers. All were delicious. I can't wait to try their eclectic breakfast menu.

Great place! My husband and I are truckers and we were tired of truck stop food. We wanted a good hamburger and this place did not disappoint! The burger was big, tasty, fresh and hand cut homemade fries to go with it. Their beer and wine list is very impressive (no Budweiser immediately elevates a joint in my book!). It's clean, service was prompt and friendly. Menu is basic Americana, pizza and burgers. I will definately stop here every time I am able.

This is a must try for everyone! While the menu is not expansive it is complete and full of something for everyone. We had their delicious fried green beans for an app. Crispy, thin battered, perfect crunch and the dipping sauce is so homemade good. They have a special most nights and my BFF had the special chicken salad that they made a beautiful salad and put it on since she did not want the bread sandwich. I had the bacon cheese burger with no bun & again they brought my burger out in a lettuce wrap! The chef definitely cares and has a real talent. The staff was great even though we showed up 5 minutes before closing time. The atmosphere is comfortable, clean and bright. Full bar has its own place on the other end of restaurant. We will be back for sure!!

Food: Three stars. Five for Roger's vegetarian pizza on a vegetarian pizza scale and four on an all-pizzas scale. Two for Lana's tri-tip, which turned out to be a sandwich and fries, both of which she left partially uneaten. The fries went almost entirely uneaten. One for the ice cream that appeared on the menu but not in the kitchen. Drinks: Five stars for Roger's Doppelbock and a beer-lover's beer menu. Service: Minus three stars for thirty minutes spent listening to a loudmouthed, hyperactive, undisciplined and totally out of parental control child, with no action whatever by an obviously experienced staff. This was not a case of a suddenly crying child, where a responsible parent would have taken it outside. This was a child talking loudly and constantly from the moment the family entered, sometimes running around the table and always ignoring every half-hearted parental attempt at control. Nor did the parents appear disturbed by its behavior; apparently, this was the child's normal behavior and the parents' normal, utterly ineffectual response. Indeed, the mother's "shushings" seemed more for the benefit of other patrons than the child, who never obeyed her for an instant. The child never should have been brought into a restaurant in the first place, and staff should have asked the parents to leave. Ambience: Three stars for the clean but average diner interior. Noise Level: Minus three stars. See "Service," above. Price: Average. Summary: Stick with the pizza and beer and hope that staff does not have to confront an unruly patron. It either does not know how to do that or assumes that its other patrons should live with the problem.

We stopped in here on our way to back pack in the Mt Hood National Forest and I was impressed with the juiciness of the burger, soft fresh ciabatta bun, and runny egg. Good fries too. It is clean and has quaint little decor pieces, looks like maybe new owners took over an old grungy road stop and fixed it up. I was hoping to try their brunch, but got there too late. I'd definitely go back if I head out that way again.
