What a fantastic B&B! I cannot say enough good things and I don't know where to start! My fiance and I stayed for a night in July. Liz was extremely welcoming and kind hearted. I didn't realize at first that she and her family live there too - so it's extra impressive that she maintains both areas in immaculate and welcoming atmosphere full time! We checked into our spacious room with comfy bedding that had its own small patio and private bathroom. It had a tv but no cable (lots of DVDs); however, it didn't even matter as our room faced the ocean and there were tons of things to do besides stay in bed! :) Downstairs was a common area with fire pit, small kitchen with coffee and wine, an outdoor seating area, outdoor hot tub, and lots of space to relax in comfy corners and couches. The entire house had an antique and rustic feel. There were unique decorations and personal touches everywhere - you could tell it was a labor of love! We were able to make a breakfast selection from a number of great options the night before, and eat it on the porch, or in the kitchen, or in the dining area, or in our rooms. I opted for a great sandwhich type breakfast with eggs, cheese, and meats. TO DIE FOR. Coupled with a caramel latte and a cool salty ocean breeze? I didn't want to ever leave! Fantastic location and wonderful family. If I'm in the area again, I'm definitely staying!!
If you want a relaxing weekend or just one night at the Oregon coast, this place was AWESOME! Worth every penny we spent! The room, the food and the friendly hostess made our stay so fabulous we didn't want to leave . Highly recommended - we can't wait to go back!!
We reserved the Salmonberry Inn & Beach House this past weekend for my sister's surprise 30th birthday party. It was a success! The beach house is beautiful, clean, and cozy with lots of nice Frenchy decorating touches. The landscaping outside is lovely, and we spent a good portion of the evening soaking in the hot tub and laughing around the fire pit. In the morning, we arranged for Liz to bring us fresh baked scones and muffins, coffee, and juice. It was delicious and presented so nicely. All these little details made this event special and fun. We wish we could have stayed longer. The owners are incredibly nice, and I appreciate everything Liz did to make our stay so enjoyable. The inn is a hidden gem, so warm and welcoming and very close to the beach. I can't recommend it enough. We would love to return again for another stay!

my veggie pan pizza was AMAZING! first time at any Papa Murphys...and now I will be back! took only 15 minutes to cook. hubby got some meat thinner crust and he didn't like it. by far the best pizza in the pitiful pizza town that is Lincoln City.
Quick solution to the family dinner question. Eat in tonight...s'mores at the beach later! With 4 kids you aim for satisfaction and a known taste profile!
Been to over 8 other Papa Murphy's and this location had great friendly service along with great take back to,the hotel pizza. Usually the pizzas are a bit sloppy when they are put together but this group has been trained well!

Family owned and ran. We LOVE this place. A margarita will put you down! Well, down into a warm, tingly, giggly way! I've yet to have something isn't delicious from this place! Yum!
We stopped while out in Lincoln City because of the good reviews and were glad we did! Really good (simple, straight-forward) Mexican food. Huge menu (actually a bit overwhelming) with all the classics. As soon as we were seated, the servers brought water, warm chips, salsa and refried beans. For lunch, our table enjoyed enchiladas, quesadillas, a camarones plate similar to fajitas and the torta asada. Everyone was very happy. Now I need to reiterate, this is simple cuisine with a fun folksy Mexican decor. It's not high dining, and nor need it be! Immaculately clean dining room and restrooms, friendly and fast service, great food at a good price. I'd definitely go back.
This place is awesome. Easily the best Mexican in LC. We went for lunch and had a couple combos and so we got to try the Chicken Taquitos, Chicken Ench, and Chile Relleno. Plus chips and guac. All of this packed very nicely for takeout. It was all very fresh and delicious and we will definitely be back.

I never say anything was five stars. I usually knock a place down for snooty service, slow service, over cooked something or under done something. But for once in my life with complete confidence I can give a restaurant five stars with the knowledge that it is well deserved. The service was uncommonly down to earth and engaging. The food was amazing. Now I understand why people rave about this place the soup du jour was a corn chowder that was enough to make Julia Child proud. I had the Dungeness crab cake special. Delicious! My other half had the salmon, it was even better! Between us we tried the medjool date salad and the pork belly appetizers, uncommonly good as well. But the yum of the evening was the bread pudding which we asked for deconstructed, since we knew we couldn't possibly eat it all.. Wow!!! Can't wait until next time. Thank you!
After driving by and seeing a line out the door, we decided to stop at The Bay House for dinner. The restaurant is very classy and romantic. Every table has a beautiful view of the bay. I would suggest going at sunset! There was a huge wine selection (the menu is a binder). The food was delicious as well. I thoroughly enjoyed our meal of clams (appetizer), beef and duck (entrees).
Excellent meal, view and service. The Bay House is a very, very good restaurant and fully deserves it's four diamonds! We came as a family with two 7 year olds and had a fantastic evening.

Old Oregon Tavern

Reviews:
We were visiting and we love dive bars, so we tried this place. It was everything a dive bar should be; cash only, great bartender who knew a lot about the area, and regulars! Great drinks at great prices.
Is it Old Oregon Saloon or Old Oregon Tavern? Either way, it's a cash only dive in Lincoln City with solid food, a decent beer selection, and wifi. Food was cheap and delicious. The BLT is large is about five dollars. A few wacky locals when we went but the bartender (Cody?) was nice and had it under control. WiFi Password: oldoregon
Sorry but I'm going to do a review without actually going to this place. They lost the chance at my business (yes, just because of one little thing) due to the guy that answered the phone when our group called to see if this place had Pac12 network. He had no clue if they were showing what we wanted to see nor did he know if they even had the Pac12 channel. It bothers me when bar/restaurant workers don't know anything about their menu, the channels they get or even what TV system they have. Maybe I'm just in a bad mood or I was just disappointed because I wanted to try this place. Every time I come to the beach I see this bar. Maybe next time I'll just want to drink and won't care about the tv.

The Cyber Garden & Tea Bar

1826 NE Hwy 101
Lincoln City, 97367
Reviews:
Cyber Garden is what coffee shops should be: warm, inviting, and full of comfy chairs and reading nooks. The space is separated into four or five little conversation areas, each with three or four chairs and a coffee table. This set up invites customers to sit, chat, read, and generally take a break from life. It's a soft and comfortable environment, and the slower pace makes this coffee shop more relaxing than most. The coffee was fine. ($1.75 for a large served in a ceramic mug.) But it's really the atmosphere that sets this place apart from other coffee joints. As you might guess from the name, Cyber Garden offers free wifi with purchase and you can also rent computers for a small fee. The coffee shop is attached to a (Nepalese?) restaurant, and on slow days the two function as a one-man operation. I can't vouch for the food in the restaurant -- it seemed rather dead -- but I did love the coffee shop. And the barrista was helpful and friendly. This place was a nice break from the tourist bricabrac shops that populate the rest of Lincoln City.
Great coffee! Highly recommend, the service is excellent. Thank you for the nice experience.
As far as I can tell, this business is connected to, part of, or perhaps just what evolved into the Nepali Kitchen, which is the business next door and connected to this building internally.... with a large coffee bar. And since I didn't go in looking for connectivity -- I can't speak to the available WiFi -- --my phone hooked me up to Yelp with no problems. :D The best things this place has going for it are the coffee and the atmosphere. -- and the coffee is outstanding. On a chilly morning, it arrived in a large cup with plenty of cream -- and was perfect. I love the heavy stoneware mugs/cups that keep it hot (and double as hand warmers) -- Some of the best coffee I've had here -- hot, strong, and well balanced. Parking can be a challenge -- on the crowded curb of NE Hwy 101 -- so you may have to walk a little.

Eleanor’s Undertow Takeout

869 SW 51st St
Lincoln City, 97367
Reviews:
We were on Hwy 101 doing the Spring Break thing with the kids and we were on a hunt for ice cream. Not Diary Queen ice cream. No siree. The kids were adamant that we find one of those local swanky kinds of ice cream shops that one can only find at the beach. The shops on 101 weren't helpful as the only ice cream place was closed. "Random" as one shop owner replied when I asked why it was closed in the middle of spring break. My daughter remembered this place across from Mo's. A five minute car ride later, and we were standing outside this candy cane striped building with a door that wouldn't quite close all the way. The name intrigues me as I think perhaps we were caught in a time machine disguised as an undertow. Entering reminded me of scenes in a movie with the old 1950's soda fountain shops. This one may even have had some of the same furniture and equipment from the '50s. The folks working behind the counter also seemed to be of that era. Working with a smile and "what can I get for you, honey?" greeting was enough to make us all want to stay. I don't know if that was Elinore, but she was a kick. Four ice cream cones, one milkshake, and order of fries and a cup of chowder later, we were all glad we remembered this place. We weren't in the mood for arcade games, but we could easily have been entertained for hours if we had. We even bought a few funny greeting cards, but left the mood rings for someone else's treasure.
*Great alternative to, Mo's (across the street) if you've got kids and/or teens. Eleanor's is a lot cheaper and offers a great family vibe compared to, Mo's. This place is a family run business and has been for the past 25+ years. Started by, Roy and Eleanor, and now being carried on by their kids and grand kids. Food: -hamburgers/ cheeseburgers & fries -fish & chips -hot dogs -variety of ice creams -salt water taffy & more! Entertainment: -old school arcade games -pool tables -the BEST air hockey table known-to-man! & a great place to hang after a walk on the beach!!! *I've loved this place since I was 8 years old and now being 33... I still enjoy playing the same games (and I truly mean the same games) as a kid!
We had the greatest experience today at Eleanor's undertow, the food and the service was fantastic... Very nice friendly people (I love nice people) one of the owners took time to come out to visit with and give us the history behind the restaurant, their fish is cooked by convection so its not oily at all, I had a great Halibut sandwich which was amazing and their clam chowder is delicious.. It has malt shop atmosphere with game area, pool tables, video games and a jukebox. What a wonderful place!

Reviews:
My family and I stopped at this little place while passing through Lincoln city. Had we known what we were in for, we would have gone somewhere else. My fault for not actually reading more of the reviews. The food was actually pretty good, but because of the rude staff, poor customer service, long wait, and lack of cleanliness we can only give it two stars. We'd love to give it 5, but the entire experience isn't worthy of a 5 star rating. It started when we walked in the door and barely had room to walk towards the counter amongst the 7 tables that are cramped into the small space. There were several "rules" posted around the tiny restuarant, beginning with "don't sit at a table until after you place your order." Fortunately we were lucky and a table opened up right after we ordered. The table was dirty and the only person they have cleaning them is the cashier. The lady at the counter, Big Ginger, told my husband, "it's gonna be a 40 minute wait" in a less than helpful, pleasant tone. When he said, "ok" she reluctantly reached for her order tablet and rolled her eyes. We waited about 30 minutes for the food. I had the fish tacos which were very tasty. My husband ordered the 4 piece combo with halibut, cod and shrimp, which he said tasted fresh and was not too greasy. The clam chowder was good, with a great flavor and very creamy. It was peppery with not a lot of potatoes or clams. The icing on the cake was over hearing the cashier say to the cook, "I'm trying to get rid of these people by telling them it's a long wait but they don't care." If you don't mind long wAits, poor customer service, rude staff and a disappointing bathroom (not clean, no soap or paper towels) then the food here isn't too bad and you might enjoy it. Needless to say, the overall experience wasn't that great and we won't be going back.
The fish was good. We had the halibut, cod and shrimp. I've had better clam chowder. I agree with other reviewers that it was very peppery. The thing that bothered me about this place was the staff. They were very rude. The restaurant was very busy when we visited for lunch. Comments I heard the staff make were "Tell those idiots to move those tables back." (Tables are not allowed to be moved at J's) and "Cheap ass." said under a staff person's breath when a customer asked for small bowls so they could share their family-style cole slaw. I read through some other reviewers comments and sounds like there have been other similar experiences. The food was good, but not THAT good. I don't think I'd go back because of the unpleasant staff.
Delicious! I had the traditional 3 piece Cod. The price was good, average for a coast town at $8.50 which includes your choice of potatoes any way (reg fries, curly fries, or fresh made potato chips), coleslaw and a drink. The fish had a very nice light batter. The fish was not overcooked at all, it was nice. It was fresh tasting. The tartar sauce was on point. The curly was were just curly fries, nothing exciting about it.. I should have tried the potato chips. Overall, clean space, very friendly staff (don't forget to tip :D ) Only thing is that its kind of hard to see off the freeway. Look for the ASIAN IMPORT/DECOR/FURNITURE and it is across the street! Kudos J's!

The new older hispanic man working here has some of the best customer service I have ever seen. They make him work alone most of the time and the way he handles tough situations with large groups coming in or being out of ingredients is awesome. I was sitting here eating my sandwich and a large family came in and I watched him handle it all very proffesionally and with a great attitude. Subway better watch out before somone steals this guy away from them. If I owned a business, I would want this guy to work for me....for sure!
