Absolutely, hands-down, the best fish tacos ANYWHERE in the valley. If another joint even has them, they're breaded frozen fish patties that are chopped/crumbled. This place hand-breads and fries fresh, and makes the best taco ever.

So I've decided I want to try to leave reviews after my second visit for restaurants. This is my second time to dos arbolitos and it's been a 5 star experience both times. The chips and salsa both seem to be freshly made. Definitely not store bought chips. And the servings are pretty generous. And the platillo de carnitas is the most authentic I've had next to the locals restaurants in Mexico. The only shortfall was the margaritas. Both times they were pretty weak. They have really good beer specials though so I'll probably opt for that next time. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Lebanon!

Good carne asada, camarones ala creama, and fish tacos. First time here. Down to earth mom and pop mexican food. No frills but good food.

I think my wife said it best as we left after eating a late lunch today on our way through town. "That was about as average as average gets." It was true - average service, average food, average time for food to arrive. Nothing terrible - just..average. The waitress didn't seem like she was much interested in serving anyone - not rude, not bad..just disinterested. The enchiladas...not terrible - not much flavor, normal mexican rice and refried beans - chicken..maybe from a can? Again - on a Sunday on our way through a relatively small town - not the worst food/experience I've had...just not one I'd go back for.

Nothing irks me more than average food served with indifference. We had to eat, and we were really in the middle of nowhere, so we relied on the 12 Yelp reviews that were somewhat dated. I had high hopes after the chips and salsa (a nicely flavored pico de gallo and a salsa, with what seemed be homemade chips), but that's where the good stuff ends. Things that Make You a 2-star restaurant: 1) Iced tea from a mix - how hard is it to brew fresh iced tea? 2) Two diners, two separate serving times, I was the unlucky one who had to wait 5+ minutes for her plate 3) Wrong tortillas, corn not the flour I asked for, and it took another 5 minutes to flag someone down 4) Indifferent staff, no apology for the error or the delay 5) Runny guacamole, clearly from one of those disgusting supermarket plastic containers, guac is easy, even if you just do avocados with salt and lime. 6) Dry rice with little flavor 7) Runny refried beans with no flavor 8) Steak fajitas with no flavor 9) Not checking up on us after we've received our order 10) Not giving us our check in a timely fashion If it sounds like I'm complaining, well, I am. We are not demanding diners, and this place was not busy. Overall poor experience.

The food is delicious! Good portions. Ambiance is lacking. Reasonably priced. They have the best pico de gallo of any Mexican restaurant I've eaten at.

Do Not Bother!! Extremely dirty, poor service, terrible, bland food! Taco Bell has more spice! Only good thing were the chips.

Sandra and her team from Dos Arbolitos catered my wedding rehearsal dinner. Not only is their food delicious, but their customer service is above and beyond. Everything is so stressful during wedding weekend. They were so calm and so helpful. Many of my guests complimented me on the food. We also had a ton of leftovers which was great for the dozen house guests I had. They packed everything up for us. They even put up with all of the dogs we had around the farm. I highly recommend them for your event! Great people to work with!!

Wet Burrito with carne asada was excellent. Service was quick and efficient. It felt very clean and homely which gave it a nice atmosphere. I wasn't very impressed by the salsa, I would be really hard pressed to find fault with anything else though. Would definitely come back when I am in the area.

Not too shabby for a small town Mexican restaurant. I would recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Huge portions and reasonable prices. If I am back in town I will stop by.

After an full day of moving furniture, boxes, and other duties associated with putting a house load of furniture into a UHaul, I was hungry. The first logical stop was the little tavern in Brownsville, until I saw a sign that minors are only allowed in for food on the weekends. This meant change of plans, and quick. Lebanon was the next closest option, so I packed the kid into the car and took off. This little diner popped up as being highly rated and loved by locals, so of course, we decided to check it out. Not bad overall, we were the only customers by the time we made it. This was ok, it pretty much ensured fast service! I ordered the shredded beef chimichanga and my daughter had two chicken tacos. The table sauces were really good, and they were needed because other than the shredded beef, there wasn't much of anything else in the chimi - which made it a little dry. It would have been nice to get a little juice or salsa or somethin in there. I ate a bit of the rice and beans, but most of it got left behind because the chimi was so big. The prices were decent enough to warrant coming back, if I happen to be in the area again. I'd probably try something other than my previous order though.

Decided to give this place a go after emerging from the woods on a weekend camping trip. There is a big Hispanic population in the area due to all of the agriculture, and I had my finger's crossed that I picked a good one. Yes, indeed! Chile verde burrito was SO big it was hanging off the plate. Everything was tasty. Partner had the super veggie burrito. Friendly staff, cheap prices, and huge portions!

I eat here pretty often. The food is very good and it is reasonably priced and arrives quickly. There aren't a lot of frills or extras here but if you like good Mexican food at a reasonable price, this is a good place to go.

From the outside you might not guess how good this place is. I'm a fan of their tacos, burritos and ceviche... The place can be a little crowded at times, but the service is consistently quick and the restaurant is suitable for a working lunch. The prices are quite reasonable, considering the portion size and food quality. One of my favorites in Lebanon.

This is a frequent favorite of my team and I. I love their wet burrito.

Although you could blink and miss this little place on the corner, its my favorite mexican restaurant in town! They have very fast and friendly service and I love their chicken chimichanga and wet burrito. I know many other places have the same things on the menu, I just really like the small festive feel in there. Me and my friends have been coming here since middle school and I have had lots of memories! I'd recommend it to anyone!

Excellent. Chicken fajita sauce is great. The pork chili verde is good with just a slight spice. Highly recommended. Quick service

Is 90 minutes too far to drive for a $7 burrito? What if it's full of moist, tender, savory chunks of carnitas snuggled up in fluffy seasoned rice, starchy red beans & a smattering of pico de gallo. Yup, $7 for a mouthwatering burrito the size of a guinea pig on steroids in a tortilla sumo suit. Did I mention that they pack up housemade tortilla chips & cups of pico de gallo in your to-go bag? If I weren't so stuffed from the my sumo burrito I'd have rooted through that plastic cup of spicy salty salsa with just a hint of sweetness from the chunks of fresh tomatoes like the greedy glutton that I am. It's made fresh daily so you may have to resort to gut busting gorging as it doesn't really keep for the next day. [sob] This place is so popular they're even open on Sunday which is pretty amazing for an old school tacqueria. I suspect the reason is that the locals would instigate an uprising if rumors to that effect ever made the rounds cuz despite the extra seating in the little back room & the small booths in front there was only one table available at 1PM on a Sunday. [yoink!] Well...there was a table available. Homey, clean, hole-in-the-wall with fragrant carnitas that may just have you experiencing epiphanies which makes me ponder the unthinkable, am I seriously contemplating a long-distance relationship with a tacqueria? [oink!] Who am I kidding? They have peach margaritas!

My husband and I's favorite restaurant! Its always exceptional quality and everyone is so friendly. Their food is much more authentic tasting than your run of the mill mexican restaurants.

Best tacos and burritos in town, hands down. Ask for the habanero salsa.

Service was fantastic, as was the food. The restaurant is well maintained and clean. I haven't had this good of Mexican food since I left SoCal. I had the steak soft shell tacos, my son had the chicken hardshell tacos, we were both very impressed. We will eat there again.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
