Amazing! I had green eggs and ham special: An alt Benedict with hash browns, thin ham, poached eggs and lemon basil hollandaise. Loved it. My husband thought his burrito was oddly a tad sweet but otherwise good. We got a cinnamon bun to go for the tiny - thankfully covered in Orange cream cheese frosting that wasn't overly sugary. I had a hard time getting a feel from reviews. It's an order at the front and they bring you your food place. About 10-12 tables, largest seats 6-8 people. Extremely warm and charming.

I really liked this place and was actually expecting something different when I walked in. It's more than a coffee place (they serve wine and beer, and also have a nice menu). I just got a soy chai latte and a slice of coffeecake. The latte was nice and creamy and perfectly spiced - very good. And the coffee cake had small bits of peach and blueberry and was absolutely delicious. I would definitely order that again. Also had a nice cinnamon topping - just the right amount, not too much. I hate when my coffee cake is loaded down with too much topping - this one was perfect. I also really liked the space. It was bigger than I expected and had plenty of seating both inside and out. They also had an awesome old stove in the middle of the place which I loved. I would have taken a picture, but there was a guy sitting in front of it, so maybe next time. Overall a great place to stop for coffee, lunch or a glass of wine. I'd highly recommend it.

We had good coffee & chai here on a busy Sunday morning while waiting for other Jacksonville businesses to open. They also have a good selection of baked good and I think some breakfast entrees.

I'm done with this place. Inconsistent service.... One day, cheery and great service and the next, rude and disgruntled employees. Couple that with over priced everything, and you have a winner....NOT. Got served cold coffee on my last visit with an apathetic counter girl acknowledging it was old. No apology. No nothing. For peets sake, it's a coffee shop! It's not that difficult.

I've had my share of good and bad experiences here. One waitress/barista in particular was argumentative with me once and then slowly over two years manages to be friendly now and again when I stop by once or twice a week for lunch. There are a few great items on the menu that I crave on the regular, yet their cinnamon rolls are ghastly-nasty. How in the heck can you mess up the pastry with the highest potential for deliciousness? They did, that's all I know. Nifty atmosphere with good wall art. Nice outdoor seating area. Super sloooooooowwwww drive through service so never visit in a hurry since they aren't fast food and the items are usually made with love. I suggest they work on consistent customer service and quality control.

Good coffee and decent eats but the girl taking orders at the register is extremely slow resulting in inexcusable wait times. She should be "back of house" to make this place more efficient and to give a better customer experience. Even the extremely pregnant employee ran circles around this cashier. Great baked goods though- try the cinnamon muffin or the cranberry scone! Yum! They also offer fruit turnovers, croissants, huge cinnamon buns, coffee cake- it goes on and on and all looked decadent. The place is super cute and the outdoor seating is very peaceful on a sunny day. It's uber-relaxing and it seems to be a must-stop for all our local bicyclists :) They offer Ahuva bagel sandwiches that were nice but all sides are a la carte. I like that they have a drive-thru and you can call ahead to have your sandwich ready to go when you pull up! My final quibble: they make you wait to have them give you coffee refills up at the counter.... With the plodding girl at the register, this can be an excruciating ordeal- prepare to wait several minutes just to get topped off. It'd be nice if they put the coffee atop the counter to let customers top off their own coffee; this place is tiny enough to police it so people can't abuse it and steal coffee.

Oh Pony, how I love thee, let me count the ways..... I flippin' love this place! I discovered Pony Espresso several years ago when I first moved to Southern Oregon. In all the years since, I have yet to be disappointed! The coffee is on point! Sometimes I throw a curve ball at the staff and ask them to put a shot in my iced tea and they're always happy to accommodate my bizarre requests. I usually go there for lunch, but the breakfast is sure to satisfy as well. I personally recommend the sunrise croissant deluxe but again, whatever you order will be good. I recently discovered they do lunch specials and opted for the Korean pulled pork sandwich. It was a revelation! Spicy & sweet on a delicious ciabatta roll. How could I not order it? The inside of the coffee shop is on the smaller side and usually filled with the regular crowd, but the outdoor patio is great on a warm, sunny day. The staff is always friendly and the service is great. Pony Espresso is truly the coffee shop gem of Jacksonville.

We always get to go and we keep coming back because it's by our house and we want to support Local business. But it is soooo inconsistent! Staff can be rude and snippy one day and nice the next. Food can be just as ordered or the complete opposite. Getting home and not having it the way you specifically asked is so disappointing and super annoying. And like who's really going to get back in the car and go complain? No us. Get it together girls. If you don't like people then don't work costumer service.

Good food. Good coffee. Service isn't what it used to be 2 years ago but still decent. Outside seating for a nice sunny day. Love the simple, basic menu :)

I have been here a number of times and the coffee and food are always good. I love their panini's. There is plenty of seating and usually I can find a seat when they are busy. There is nothing worse than ordering and getting your stuff and then having no where to sit down. They have an excellent patio. It's a cute local coffee shop, with a drive thru.

We hadn't tried lunch here for several years but decided to give it a chance and glad we did. I had a beef panini sandwich that was severed on a large square slices of bread toasted just right. The beef was tender and the sauce--something with artichoke hearts, cheese? and ??? was excellent. A quarter section of a dill pickle was included. Allman Bros. coffee is served, which I like. The inside is nice wood panelling with old heavy wooden tables with claw feet. A large outdoor deck accommodates the summer crowds.

Service is way inconsistent, I am never sure if I am going to be greeted by a happy and cheerful barista or some rude dude that doesn't seem like he wants to be there...the coffee and eats are good, just a bit pricey, but that's Jacksonville for you....

Standard Sunday run in our home. Generally do the Cowboy. It's always a great way to get a quick pick me up! Service is consistently good in this rustic setting. On a side note, it appears cyclist enjoy this place as well.

Had an incredible Jacksonville breakfast wrap when I was there with my family on Sunday. Great coffee and service, and a nice outside seating area on their deck.

Good coffee but TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We left a camera at their shop. I called them on the phone to see if they had found it before someone else took it. The fellow on the phone told us flatly, "I'm sorry but we are busy right now, I can't go out and check it. Call us back tomorrow or come in and check for yourself." Mind you this was 8:30 in the morning that I called them, so I could understand that they would be busy, but what I can't understand is that he showed no intention to go out and check it even when he was not busy. By his intonation, I got the feeling that he simply did not care. If he had said, I will go out and check it as soon as I get a moment, that would have gone a long ways to making me feel that at least he cared about us and our feelings. After going to get the camera, we will never go there again and hopefully others will think twice about spending their money at such a cold business.

Greeted with a smile and sounds of patrons enjoying their time here. Service has been wonderful. We took advantage of their discount on gift cards they are doing right now. Food is tasty and enjoyable. Thank you Kelsey and crew for a niece break with my wife. 5 stars

Wonderful people. Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. You'll love it for breakfast or lunch. The outside seating is also a great addition especially on a perfect southern Oregon summer day.

We had a great meal here with a chicken bacon ranch wrap and a scramble made burrito style. Both were great! Also got a fruit cup which was fresh and some amazing orange juice. Coffee was not our favorite compared to others in area but still good. Clean and good, fast service.

The service is mediocre, the workers that work there just want to get rid of you, and they have messed up my order multiple times. Always forget avocado, have forgotten my soup order three times, and are very impatient when you are deciding what you want. I would recommend going to stim or goodbean over this place. Never again.

Friendly service for us. Very tasty breakfast also. They did mixup one of our coffees and then took other people's orders before finally bringing the coffee after breakfast was over. They should have corrected the mixup immediately not waiting until the shop slowed. We will go again. It's charming and worth returning. It takes more than a coffee mistake to keep us from returning.

Unfortunately I've only ever had sub-par experiences here. I hadn't been in a very long time because of this but decided to try again today. I ordered a 16oz Avalanche and a Breakfast Burrito. The coffee just isn't good- it was lacking in flavor and it honestly was just bland. For $4.25 I was hoping for a great drink. Other than the fact that the burrito had the nice touch of being grilled, again it was just so-so. It was $5.25 and I can get a much better and bigger one of the same style that tastes ten times better at Muchas Gracias down the road for less money. I wanted it to all taste so good hoping maybe things had changed- but they haven't. If you want a nice coffee shop experience in Jacksonville- go to Good Bean.

It's a cool spot to hang out; they've got good coffee as well as a nice interior with pretty outdoor seating. I really like the fact that they also serve food and beer, so it feels like I could hang out there at any time of the day rather than just the morning. The staff are pretty nice, although I've encountered a snobby high school girl or two. Overall though, it's a good spot to hang out in Jacksonville.

The tea water is seriously hot, which is a big plus for me. They never seem to run out of bagels. The breakfast burrito is delicious. They have a nice little toaster set up so you can nuke your own bagel. Staff is pleasant though sometimes harried.

This is a great little neighborhood coffee shop, and a Jacksonville staple along with the Good Bean. Their coffee drinks are amazing, especially the ice blended varieties, bagel breakfast sandwiches are also good. My fave is the Mudslide, an ice blended mocha w/ Irish cream and coconut. I'd give 5 stars, but the baked goods could be improved.

Great atmosphere, nice deck, nice interior decor, free WiFi and just got their beer/wine license. They have tasty b-fast and lunch options - try the cashew chicken croissant sandwich.
