Clean, charming, up to date, and not very expensive - in February anyway! My only reservation was our room didn't have black out blinds and the light came through the window from the hall light. Apparently a few rooms do not have black out curtains but may be updated soon. The front desk (who seemed to be the manager or very on her game for a front desk person) apologized and gave me a discount for future stays. I was tired but I couldn't really be mad because she was so nice about it. Be sure to ask about your room blinds if that's super important to you. We were in 129. This is a great hotel if not for that glitch. Also - the road sign says Wine Country Inn, not Country Inn. Thanks to the yelp photo it was easier to spot.

We stayed at Wine Country Inn. While its location is not as charming as the houses around the center of town, it was still really convenient. The girls working the office could not have been nicer! We got a great second floor room and it was ready early. It was updated, spacious and clean. The beds were very comfy and the layered drapes did their job. There are benches and chairs around the lot to enjoy your morning scones and coffee or a bottle of wine.

We arrived early into town. Our room was not ready, but the staff held our things as we wandered the town. We arrived back and were very pleased with the room. There were 2 queen beds, the furnishing seemed fairly new. Very clean. Very quiet. The beds very comfortable. It being the 4th of July weekend we snagged the very last room at short notice, and we were very happy. Just on the edge of town, but such a small town, everything very walkable.

We had a very nice stay. Rooms are very clean, bed is comfy, pillows are a little full so if you like flatter pillows bring your own. Our room had a fridge so that was nice. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants.

I stayed at the wine country inn, I really wanted to like it, it had great reviews. But when we got to our room and sat on the bed I was immediately turned off. Bed is hard as a rock, the shower head only spouts out water from the outer rings so when you stand in the middle of the shower the water isn't even hitting you directly. I hate that the bathtub and toilet are seperate from the faucet, makes it hard to get ready when someone is trying to sleep. The pillows were terrrrrrible, so hard and way to fat. The one thing I'll give it is it seemed cleaner than any other place you can get for 60 a night.

Three stars is for the quality of the room and the location. Service was rude and I wouldn't return for that reason. I can see this has been an issue in the past. Many other options in the area.

We stayed at the Mcculley House for TTB at the Britt due to it's proximity. Our room was great, perfectly fine. A nice room up the stairs and very close to where we needed to be. Honestly we have no complaints - we arrived 30 minutes early and our room wasnt ready, but you cant fault them if they say 3pm, it's 3 pm. Slept well, would stay here again for the Britt. Worth noting that you have to check in at the Wine Country Inn and then proceed to the Mcculley House.

We booked the entire Mccully House and the three Wine Cottages for a wedding party for 3 days in September of 2014. The management and staff at the properties were amazing. So helpful in booking, and certainly aimed to please. We could not have been happier with the properties, the rooms were spotless, the beds super comfortable, and the location was the best. We also arranged for The Deva Vu restaurant which is attached to Mccully House, to provide breakfast for the entire group. It was fantastic! We will definitely be back! Thanks for helping make our weekend so special. Special thanks to Wendy and her her staff at Wine Country Inn, and Joyce and her husband, and Kevin our awesome server at Deja Vu.

Check out Priceline for occasional great deals here. Nice grounds, tables and adirondack chairs set out under trees, spacious clean rooms, comfortable beds & linens. A glorified motel, but nicely tarted up. Got a room on PL for $62 instead of $129 list, we worried something would be wrong but it wasn't - felt like a steal at this price. I checked the next day & that deal was gone - "ya snooze, ya lose...".

If I could give a half star it would be a 3.5 stars. My husband and I were driving from LA to Portland and needed to grab a room somewhere en route home to sleep. We decided to try more of a local spot in cute Jacksonville vs staying right off the freeway. Check in was seamless and nice, the front desk kid was very sweet and in an upbeat mood. The room was fairly generic and could have been cleaned a bit better (finger and handprints all over the nightstand and table were a turn off). We slept well and the bed was comfortable with cozy linens. Check out was where it went south for us. They provide you with actual metal keys for the rooms so we stopped at the front desk to turn in our key at about 6:50am. There was a woman sitting at the computer that I could see through a window as I walked up to the door, I tried to turn the door knob twice, discovered it was locked and as I looked up saw the woman retreat swiftly into the back room. I stood at the door in shock and then knocked loudly twice as the door to the back room was open and got no response. I called the after hours number on the door and the woman told me she would call the desk and let them know I wanted to turn my key in. I stood outside the door for another 3 minutes or so before the woman finally reappeared to answer the phone, she did not look up at me although she could see me clearly through the glass door and looked irritated at the phone call. She opened up a computer screen continuing to ignore me and after her call finally came over to open the door rudely. If it weren't for this horrible excuse for customer service we would have been very happy with our stay.
