The food here is decent and you get a lot of food for what you pay for. I haven't really had anything I didn't like, but I haven't had anything that was so amazing I was talking about it after I left. The staff is friendly enough, though they can be a bit slow on refills. I do enjoy their blend of tea and they sell it as well.

Not good Chinese food. Would not recommend to anyone who is looking for good authentic or even Americanized Chinese cuisine. Bu hao.

I came to Jade Terrace because it's Saturday afternoon and both Yang's and Rice Time are closed. I got sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and almond chicken chow mein. The only thing that I really liked was the chow mein :-/

I did go here since my friend suggested it and evidently it has been taken over by new management since the last time I was here and it was delicious. It was prompt. They were friendly. Made me confused at the 180 degree flip improvement in all categories. Very happy.

Horrible, the soup wasn't even hot, over prices for the quality of food you received. I had egg foo young and the gravy tasted like flour mixed with water not flavor at all. A day later I got sick I think it was due to the food here.

I have eaten here many times and was looking up the phone number to order take out and was surprised by the low ratings. So, I thought I'd give my perspective. We always order General Tso's Chicken which is awesome! We try to get something healthy and also get Brocolli Chicken which is good (we used to get Broccoli Beef which was good but not as good as chicken). We also order Chicken Chow Mein, which the kids like. My wife LOVES the hot and sour soup. The full bar is decent (although they don't carry my favorite tequila, then again should a Chinese food joint have good tequila?). We enjoy the food here although I must admit we usually just order the above items.

I LOVE it here. It is what it is. The waitstaff are friendly, the food is good. I really enjoy the Mongolia Beef. I have them add green beans for a little extra. The place is nothing fancy, but if you are looking for good cheap food, the kind that gets better overnight sitting in your fridge in a takeout box, then this is the place for you!

Okay. I can't stress this enough. Its meh. Nothing great, nothing to remember, but I'd eat her if someone else was paying. Staff is very friendly and soup is good.

The service was friendly. Hubby ordered a Scotch and soda to be told they don't have soda. The soups, both egg flower and hot 'n sour were good. The special, which included chow mein with few, if any vegetables was an odd assortment of deep fried chicken deep fried crab (crab?) puffs, fried rice and the aforementioned chow mein. My dinner was deep fried everything with no vegetables. Oh wait, the fried rice had a hint of chopped scallions. The flavors were fine but way too much fried food with no hint of vegetables, not a good way to encourage return customers. Will try some of the dishes with better reviews once all the grease passes through my system.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
