Lisa and Dan comment: After our first visit, both my wife and I were very pleased with everything about this place. We have now enjoyed the food and hospitality here at least 5 or 6 times. Aside from being one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area, the menu also may be one of the most ambitious. An ambition that the operators seem to be able to step up to and execute with each of our requests. I usually form first impressions around the salsa, here you get 2 types, light and tasty, and kinda chunky, I like to blend them. Tired of simple cheese chile rellenos? Try their meat and cheese variations. While I prefer deep fried chile rellenos, their baked are good, and we feel that you will agree, even before you enjoy the very good house margaritas. We love that this restaurant is located in Harrisburg, only 4 miles from our Junction City home. And how about a Shout Out to Rita!! She embodies the grace required to convince you that you are a valued patron. We believe it ...You Go Girl :+)

The food was good, but NOT what I would term "authentic." Interestingly,both of our meals had an Italian flare . I ordered "Steak Mexicano." It was a tomato aside base..,not spicy more what I might put on pasta. Tasty but most certainly not Mexican. My partner had a chicken mole special...in a white cream sauce, with Parmesan cheese. Rice and Beans very good, salsas great. But not authentic Mexican.

This place has recently changed ownership and the new owners and employees are doing a great job! I had the 2 enchilada( with pork) plate. It came out in less 10 minutes, we were the only people at the place, but it was quick. The plate came with the normal beans, rice and some sort of greenery I never eat. Everything was flavored well and was piping hot . The best part came after dinner when we were waiting for our checks the serve brought us a little desert for free and without asking. It was awesome! The only sad part was that because of the change of ownership they have to wait a little bit longer to get their booze license. Once they get that this will definitely be my go to place in Harrisburg.

New owners again which is sad, ordered the carnitas and it looked like a greasy pile of sliced tenderloin without any flavor (but grease) that was reheated every day for the last week. Wife ordered a carne asada burrito that was tiny and bland compared to past visits. We took the food back it was so overpriced and underwhelming only to get the cold shoulder with no apologies or effort to right the ship.. good thing we got our refund. Can't recommend this place anymore, used to be able to say that wherever you go in the burg is good. Sorry that is not the case any longer, hope it changes into something better soon. Really used to love the old Toreros.. we miss the real deal.

This is our favorite Mexican Resturant in the Eugene Area, even though it is 15 miles from Eugene. They have the best Chicken in Mole and Carne Asada. Their beans and salsa are great as well. The wait-staff is very friendly, and efficient, even when busy (which is, usually, at dinner time). Their margaritas are very good too.
