I may have caught them on an off day, but I had a simple glazed and an apple fritter and they both tasted like sugary grease...... I will have to try again as all the other reviews are quite favorable.

I just discovered this new donut shop in Gresham not too long ago and made an amazing discovery. For years Dunkin Donuts was providing me with my favorite doughnut ever, the chocolate filled powdered and then all of a sudden the Dunkins started disappearing around the northwest. It was disappointing and another donut has not filled it's shoes since. I decided to give Mighty Doughnuts a try one day thanks to a recommendation and when I looked in the case, lo and behold there was a powdered filled chocolate doughnut and it was just as good as its Dunkin twin. At that moment, Mighty Doughnuts became my doughnut savior and became my go to place for doughnuts in Gresham.

Every donut I have tried is delicious, but my favorite is still the glazed chocolate cake. They have a great selection and the service is also fantastic! Nothing else compares on the east side.

I've been to Mighty Donuts twice within the past two days. The donuts are tasty and creative, from the tried and true Boston creme to the glazed donut topped with sprinkles and gummy bears you'll find something to satisfy your sweet-tooth. Mighty Donuts is clean and comfortable. Stop in next time you're nearby. You won't be disappointed!!!

Love their doughnuts. I have yet to buy one that I didn't like. I really like cake doughnuts and the ones here are really good. I like that they are not overly saturated with glaze. This allows the flavor of the doughnut to really stand out. The glaze on their regular glazed doughnuts is really good. Too many places use ones that are super sticky and sweet. Theirs has a perfect sweetness level and sort of "hardens" on the doughnut (in a good way). I'd been craving that kind of doughnut for days and was glad to find it at this location. Usually when I buy doughnuts, they have to be eaten the very same day otherwise they end up hard. These ones were great the next evening and were still moist and flavorful. I think their box is part of the reason why - the top and bottom fit together snugly and don't allow so much air movement. I'll definitely be buying my doughnuts here! As to the comment about the Voodoo knockoffs - I've been eating donuts with cereal, candy, etc. on them since I was a young kid (in the 1980s). So it's not like it is something that Voodoo invented. They also start making their doughnuts *early* in the morning, so by about 10 they would have definitely made a lot of them. It could be that they were sold out of those items already. Saturdays aren't typically a big day for doughnuts, so it makes sense to not open on that day if it costs more to run the location than you make. Small family run businesses often times will close for a day or two a week in order to have family time.

Great donuts and great customer service. Surprise Valentine's delivery - dozen donuts and a personalized heart donut. My new favorite place!

Got a couple dozen on my way to my moms group- they were delicious! I got an assortment and everyone seemed to like the ones they ate. I personally ate the maple donut which was great- you could tell they were freshly made and my friend said they make their own maple glaze. The man who helped me (I think he was the owner) was friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back when in the area.

This guy has a passion for donuts. Quality is excellent. They are soft tender and moist fresh every day. They also deliver every day down to Kiefer Nissan of Gresham. Love to see businesses working together in the community!

I didn't think the donuts here were very flavorful. I had cakes with chocolate icing and the standard glazed donut, and neither was very sweet. That may not be a bad thing, depending on your perspective. I may have also gone on the wrong day or at the wrong time (afternoon). But hey, donuts are still donuts, and they were still way better than the ones you'll find at the supermarket.

Will come back!! Loved how friendly the owners are and how fresh the donuts are! I'm not a lover of voodoo bc I don't like the dough they use, I do like MD dough recipe and will return!!

What kind of place doesn't have all their donuts made by 9:45am? Mighty Donuts. Hardly any selection to be had. No Bavarian Cream donuts out even. Although they did have plenty of VooDoo knockoffs in the front case. Closed on Saturdays? What's that about?

I got a dozen donuts here the other day and it was a good experience. The couple who own and run the place had their kids with them. The wife was polite and patient with letting my dad and I pick donuts since they had a large variety of donuts, both basic and specialty. The donuts have the right texture and taste, not too dense if you know what I mean. Their fillings and glaze are good too, not overly sweet. A little on the expensive side for a mix-and-match dozen, but I like supporting a good local business.

Hidden Gem - this place is tucked away, best donuts around & the prices are just awesome. Get to this place before it gets known! :)

Big delicious doughnuts. Friendly people behind the counter. Much better than grocery store bakery doughnuts. I usually get the old fashioned glazed and a coffee..if I am feeling more adventurous I will have a fritter. Wide selection. Yum yum.

An honest to goodness real doughnut shop where the doughnuts are made every day on site by real bakers! There is no smell in the world to compare to a real doughnut shop. They run out of some kinds so get yours early. Maple bars to die for, fritters are amazing, cinnamon and apple are from heaven, cake doughnuts that melt in your mouth. And a friendly, helpful staff. The BEST!

9:15 a.m. and a doughnut shop isn't open?! Boo hiss. Haven't they heard that "It's time to make the doughnuts..."?!?!

If you catch them in the morning when their donuts are fresh off the fryer they are truly amazing. I've come back a couple of times since then around the 9am and man I was completely blown away how great their donuts are. I will admit on my original review that I did come there in the afternoon so that would definitely be the difference that you would see. I would also highly recommend their fritters when you get a chance as well during that time frame!

So far the best donut I've had in Gresham.

These doughnuts are unreal. I highly suggest coming here. Nothing quite compares to tvier doughnuts. They are very generous and make an excellent product.

A wonderful hidden gem. Better than that place on Burnside or the celestial place on Glisan. The fritters are outstanding! If he runs out it's simply because the owner is being very conservative as he tries to grow this outstanding East County business. If you're looking for the best donuts this side of the river, check this place out.

I don't eat a lot of donuts but when I do, I eat Mighty D. My husband brought home a box of an assortment of cake, light and fluffy, and fritter donuts and all of em were so good! None of them felt greasy on my lips or in my tummy. Really great balance of sugar... I don't like things too sweet. The fluffy light glazed donuts were as good as Krispy Kreme and the fritters were everyone's fave. Apple fritters on my mind all week! Went to get some this morning... Beware they are closed Saturdays. No worries though... Gonna be there tomorrow

I walked 53 minutes and when I arrived, Mighty Donuts was closed and I was sad. I'm a little confused on whether they're open or closed or what.
