I honestly did not dock any stars for food; when the order is right, it's the usual JJ deliciousness. But seriously; I only order delivery (they are my "Pizza Hut" for lazy days and busy nights lol) An they are always either way late OR the orders wrong, forget to include something I asked for... An it really is too bad, because the employees I've talked to are all super friendly, presentable, and look like decent human beings... But it's like they trained to rush for speed without CHECKING to make sure it's right, like does it have straws, the mayo packets, etc... But if they are running behind (like 40mins for 2 sandwiches behind) then the order is always perfect. I love Jimmy John's food, but they need to check on this franchise and maybe help them figure this out. UPDATE: Extra cheese (for $1) my husband discovered means ONE PEICE OF CHEESE on the larger subs... Really? I mean cmon...

The overall quality of the food is ok. Anytime I've ordered from this location they always get something wrong. Always ask for them to cut sandwich in half or what they call "whacked", they never do. They never give us napkins and when we ask they act like its the most ridiculous request ever. The staff are pretty obnoxious, the guys there are loud and always shouting crap and sort of rude. Not sure if there is even a manger for this location because the staff seem to just run a muck and do what they want. Would not recommend this location at all, in fact I've stopped going to this chain altogether.

As an avid Jimmy Johns regular I am rarely let down by the mantra of "Freaky Fast" but this Gresham location consistently has the slowest, rudest and most error prone service of all franchises I have frequented. I would go back to the drawing board and re-dial the operations as I would almost rather go to Subway, a block away, rather than visiting this location. I say 'almost' because I cannot stand Subway. For the sake of all your current and future fans get it right.

Yes it's better than Subway, but that's not saying much! Skimpy on the meat & cheese, heavy on the lettuce. I thought Jimmy John's and Big Town Hero were ok until Jersey Mike's came in and blew them both out of the water.

I have ordered from them a few times before, when we were desperate , and they delivered their mediocre-at-best subs to our house. Way too much lettuce and no flavor. Anyhow, I called them tonight because I'm too tired to cook, and they told me that they we are out of their delivery range. I explained that we are only 1.5 miles from the store, and that they have delivered to us multiple times before. He refuses to budge, so I ask for the manager, who says they just made a mistake every other time they delivered to us, and there is nothing he can do. Super lame, bad customer service, and stupid policies.

Best option for a fast good quality sub, way better then subway in my opinion, I've never had a bad experience here, except they hate to part with bags and napkins for some strange reason lol

My boyfriend works at Washington Square mall so he was always getting their food delivered. So he was so excited when they came to Gresham! FYI: I don't like sandwiches at all Right after they opened he ordered delivery and then again another week. We waited a couple of months and he called in an order on a late night. He ordered and gave them our address, we live in Columbia trails apartments right next to the Gresham Station mall. He was told that they didn't deliver to our address. My boyfriend goes well you have before and the employee goes well our manager has cracked down on our delivery area. My boyfriend was given no apology, was asked what he'd like to do, and had the employee just saying the same thing over and over again. Apparently their delivery range is a mile from the store. So i looked it up and a mile is division and Eastman Parkway, just up the road. Which means any employees in the Gresham Station mall can no get delivery, seems like a waste. He hasn't ordered from that location since and hasn't ordered it much at work either. He was extremely frustrated with the lack of customer service. PS: A month ago I saw them come up our street on my way home. They must have realized how much business they would lose if they didn't expand just outside from a mile.

I love Jimmy Johns. The best subs I've had at that level of service for that price. Just the sheer speed in which they produce your sub and/or deliver it is amazing. I am impressed with the quality of the ingredients as well. I highly recommend if you want something on the go, or too tired to cook.

I have had 3 different items off there menu and they have all been Just terrible. Not my taste at all. For me it's like biting into water between 2 slices of bread, but my husband on the other hand has very bland tastes I call him a vanilla type guy and he loves Jimmy Johns. To give you some idea I dislike Subway because of the smashed bread and lack of fresh ingredients you will often find at some locations. I would WAY rather eat there then Jimmy Johns. I love Big Town hero fresh bread lots of flavor, but my husband dislikes Big Towns and would rather have Jimmy Johns. So it depends on what your flavor preference is. Me just not being a fan of there flavor wouldn't just earn them one star from me as they are really "freaky fast" and there ingredients freshness is good they also screwed up my order last time around. The sandwich looked so gross to me just in the way that there were things I didn't order on there and it was very sloppy looking I wasn't even gonna take one bite. I didn't feel it was fair that I should pay for something I wasn't gonna eat so I called up and asked for a refund on mine. My husbands was fine so and they were really fast so I declined a full refund and said please keep the tip I just want a refund for the sandwich that is incorrect and I would not eat. The manager then sort of mocked me but did say he would refund me and give me a free sandwich coupon. I never got either. I didn't pursue the issue because I will never eat there again. So whatever. As I've kind of said it all depends on personal taste and to my personal taste Jimmy Johns is not acceptable.

Super impressive customer service. I drove through for a sandwich and realized when I opened it (a ways from the store) that something was missing. I called the store and they were quick to offer two different solutions. A couple of days later the store manager, Frank, called me directly. He offered to buy not only me but also a friend lunch. One free sandwich is a pretty good deal. But 2 is over the top. Additionally, he let me know the sandwich I ordered is one of his favorites and suggested an add-on to make it even better. Needless to say, I was blown away by their response. Not only do they make delicious sandwiches quickly, but they really care. And it shows. Much appreciated!!

I ordered the Roast Beef Sub for $4.25 The Roast Beef was delicious and the French Bread was excellent. A superior Meal from this Drive Thru.

This place is great, at first I wasnt so sure but then after trying it again I decided i liked the sub that I picked the first time was just not impressive, some arent. But there are a few that are really good. I stopped getting subway when JJ moved in. Also this one has a drive thru which is great. (going inside can be faster sometimes)

I have literally gotten sick every time I've eaten at this Jimmy John's. It has been too many times to be coincidence, so I will not be returning.

One day I wanted a sub sandwich but I didn't feel like leaving my house, I usually order from subway and I called subway thinking that they still delivered in my area well it turns out that subway doesn't deliver anymore in my neighborhood. After hearing subway doesn't deliver anymore I went on my search for a place that delivered and I came across jimmy johns they saved the day. I ordered my dinner and with 7 minutes of ordering it was at my house JACKPOT quick wonderful service so long subway

I would not suggest going here unless you want to go deaf. The music is so loud you can't carry on a conversation with your company let alone try to order without yelling. The only good thing about my sandwich was the bread that's why I gave it two stars. I had the turkey and it came with mayo, lettuce and cucumber. The turkey was tasteless and there was so much mayo it oozed into my mouth with every bite. My husband got the JJ Gargantuan and he said it was pretty good. He asked for some of the extra dressing they put on the sandwich on the side and he was told they don't have any containers to put it in. Seems weird that they would not have any little cups for extras people may order. I will have to find another place to get my sandwich craving quenched.

JIMMY JOHNS! JIMMY JOHNS! Christ I love Jimmy Johns. My first time into this location, I asked the girl at the counter "What's your favorite sandwich?". She didn't even hesitate to tell me the California Club, minus tomato, add bacon, mustard and pepper mix. I had it, and haven't had a different sandwich since! Super quick and fast, SUPER nice, really clean...I couldn't ask for more from a friendly little sandwich shop. I just wish we had these back in Mississippi.

The charge was instant, but my sub took over an hour! They never told me they would make me late to work.

Cons: 1. Drivethrough is a bit awkward both in driving through it, getting to it, locating it, as well as reaching for your food at the window. 2. Hard to get in and out of this parking lot with all the crazy traffic around here. 3. Parking spots are very oddly angled and placed somewhat far from the front door. 4. Tuna here is pretty bad. So is the roast beef (too much oregano) Pro's: 1. Sandwiches here are just as good as they are at most of the other locations. 2. Bread is fantastic with that nice slight crunch when you bite into it. 3. I love the Italian sandwich. Definitely my fav. 4. Variety of meats here is very good.

Went there today, expensive, terrible service. They charge extra for all the condiments you get for free at subway or Quiznos. Place is fast but what they make up in speed definitely lacks in food and service quality. I definitely will not be coming back here . They charge extra $1 to 1.30 for anything extra like a pickle or three slices of pickled peppers. And if u want your condiments on the side like tomatoes you won't get them on the side, they Tim me they couldn't do that. Even though I payed for it. Definitely not coming back here I get twice the size of meat and Samie at subway or Quiznos for less money. And staff isn't rude and snootie.

LOVE this place!! I work in Gresham at America's Mattress (223rd and Division) and I get them to deliver from Hogan in like ten minutes!! It's unbelievable. The sandwiches are FANTASTIC, I think they charge like $.25 per sandwich for delivery or something ridiculously cheap, and the minimum is like $3.00. What a great deal!! I love the tuna sub and the Hunter Club. You can add bacon and avocado to anything. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Everyone should eat these sandwiches.

Totally dissapointed. The sandwich I ordered wasn't what I got and the price was high. The chips were some no name brand, and the bread on the sandwich was tough. Don't go there.

4 stars for their catered lunch boxes! Had them delivered for a meeting and were very impressed. Nice sized sandwiches, bad of chips, large pickle and large amazing cookie! Everyone had more than enough food. Would definitely order from them again if I'm ever back in Gresham for business meetings. Thanks Jimmy Johns! The oatmeal raisin cookie was delish.

First time visiting your store. I had never heard of Jimmy Johns before but I love sandwiches and am always on the lookout for a good sandwich shop. I stopped and decided to give it a try. Store was moderately busy, but not slammed by any means. I took this as a good sign since a dead store is a bad sign. I ordered two turkey toms, a vito and a hunters club. the vito i ordered with no onion, and they put onion on it. not a huge deal I just picked it off as well as I could. A slight irritation but not a deal breaker. It happens. The menu states the turkey tom comes with sprouts neither of the sandwiches have sprouts on them, it was only by going online and doing some research that I discovered that you have removed sprouts from the menu due to salmonella outbreak. Please update your menu to reflect this then and I won't expect to have something on my sandwich you no longer offer. The turkey toms also were pretty sparse as far as the toppings it did come with. The tomatoes were all end cuts and very small and the lettuce was sort of just haphazardly tossed on and didn't cover the entire bun. The hunters club however was fantastic and I have no complaints about that. I took pictures of one of the turkey toms in question and have posted the pictures here imgur.com/a/iL4Pt as you can see this is quite a pathetic looking sandwich. You'd better be careful if this is what you represent your product as being since you have a Subway less than a block away. I would have had no problem packing the sandwiches up and bringing them back for a refund or to be remade, however, I live in Portland about 10 minutes away and just happened to be in the area, therefore, going back was not an option. So we ate our sandwiches and felt a little sad that we spent over 20 dollars on sandwiches when we could have easily gotten a better deal almost anywhere else with the amount of toppings you seem to offer. As it stands I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone. I hope to return and I hope things are different, because your food does taste good. It's just not a great deal for what you get. Thank you.

Jimmy John's started out in midwest college towns where it was popular for obvious late night reasons. Finally they have made it out west so that I can relive the glorious haze of college. The sandwiches themselves are pretty standard - basic veg on a french roll with meat/cheese/spreads. The standout feature is that they hollow out the roll before they make the sandwich. This way you don't wind up with 90% bread in the finished product. While not extraordinary, the subs are fresh, consistent and made WICKED fast. I'd definitely recommend JJ's to any sandwich classicist.

very good on line ordering and my order for my wife and I were both perfect. Really liked the bread and the order was ready to go when I got there, even with the place being packed, nice touch is having a drive thru also.

My brother lived in the South for awhile, and was/is a big fan of this place, so when he saw that we had one he said it was a must try. I love subs and different sandwiches, so I figured I would give it a shot. Their menu had some classic subs and some yummy looking add ons. I opted for the beach club... which sounded right up my alley, but ended up being somewhat disappointing. There was maybe 2 bites out of 8 inches of sandwhich that had avacado on it. Also, they don't put sprouts on it and they neglect to inform you of that, so they just replace it with lettuce. For being on the larger sub side and having 'twice the meat and cheese' there really wasn't that much, so it makes me wonder how much is on their smaller version. The bread was just ok. Nothing great, but not awful. If you're looking for something really yummy I'd keep looking. Tollgate Bakery in Sandy has GREAT sandwhiches, and even the little sub place across from them have yummy ones. On a good note.. the drive thru was really fast, and prices are good.

Tonight I ordered a sandwich online. This is the second time I have ordered from this location. I am happy to say it lives up to what I always enjoyed about the Bridgeport location. I was surprised how fast they got my order to me. I don't live too far away, but it was really under 10 minutes. Keep up the great work!

We were so excited when Jimmy John's came to Gresham, we used to drive to the Jimmy John's on Broadway in downtown Portland to get our tasty sub fix (I'm sorry Subway so does NOT cut it when you want a good sub). Anyway, we've been to this location 7-8 times since it opened (we love subs) and every.single.time the order has been wrong or some snafu happens. It's so tiring. Some of the things that have happened: Did not put our pickle in the bag Forgot one of our sandwiches (after telling her she handed it to us and we had to remind her that we didn't pay for it) Straight up gave us the wrong sandwich Put mustard on my Italian nightclub (when she read it back to me I corrected her and it still was on the sandwich and then blamed me when I brought it back) Menu falsely advertises that they have sprouts (when you see something on the menu it should be on the sandwich) I questioned them next time I went through and got a vague response that they "might have them sometime in the future" Um...ok? put a piece of black tape over the sprouts on the menu then. AMAZING subs when they get it right. Edit: Just remembered that they don't give you napkins in the bag, you don't realize how much you'd need a napkin until oil and vinegar is running down your hands and you reach in the bag and nothing is in there.

Neat old gas station repurposed for an amazing sandwich experience. I'm a big fan of Jimmy Johns and have been for many years. This location is unique for the Portland area in that it has a drive thru, which is very convenient. My favorite part of the experience is the bread which is crusty and chewy and compliments the basic but tasty sandwich fixings. I find myself craving the #4 on a daily basis.

I recommend Jimmy John's just not the one in Gresham. I have eaten at this location two times and both times experienced very bad customer service. I don't think there is any management present. The workers are rude and care much more about talking to each other then helping customers. Also, the music is so loud that you cannot carry on a conversation. I have also been told by two other people who have indicated problems with the customer service and will not go back. Tonight I went back one last time because my parents wanted to try it. The music was so loud that my parents did not want to stay. We walked next door to BF Finkels and I had an awesome club. I hope this location of Jimmy John's does a good delivery business because that is the only way they are going to make it unless they make changes.

I thought after my first lackluster experience I would wait to review them til they had a chance to train their staff and get used to being open...I was giving them time to find their groove. Needless to say they haven't found it. Calling them for delivery is a completely ridiculous experience....one time they didn't ask for our address, payment method, or if we wanted sides. The delivery is quick I will give it that but lets face it, they are sandwiches and they have like forty people working back there...it should be quick. The drive through experience is even worse....the guy at the speaker loves saying random things that completely interrupt the ordering process. I have had to correct them on their change. I have had to ask for straws. I have also been told that my daughter will not be allowed to get a cup of ice anymore because they arent sure if they are allowed to do that or not. I will probably be forced to return here because my fiance thinks the food is worth it but it will not be my choice. The parking lot is outrageous....there are cars everywhere and the giant cement thing in the middle makes navigating the drive through like sort of drivers ed test.
