Two Girls Catering

I first encountered Two Girls Catering and its owner, Pam McClung, when I was putting together my wedding. What I liked about Pam was how our personalities really fit well together. I just felt like she was someone who would just go with the flow and allow us not sweat the details because she was on top of her work. My now wife and I then went to her tasting and loved her variety of her offereings. Everything was delicious, yet she could go from comfort food to high end cuisine. During our wedding, Pam went the extra mile. Even when I missed a major detail at the end, she did not explode. She just did it. To this day, I think of Two Girls Catering as family. People still talk what she made for us that night. Why TGC gets five stars from me is how affordable they were. I felt like we got more than we would have if we'd gone elsewhere without a loss in quality. I have since used Pam for a few other events over the years with the same high level of satisfaction. They have since added options that we did not have then. So from a good sit-down meal to down home bbq, Two Girls Catering may be right for you!

Had lunch here today with my son. Food was amazing, service was just as good. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes teriyaki and more.
Eat here often, we are a busy family with sports. The owner is so sweet, helpful and treats her customers with such grace. She knows everyone by name and loves having customers. The food is fresh, hot and outstanding! Portion size is huge which we love as we order a couple plates and share.
It gets better Everytime. I'm so happy I found this place. It's been hard to find a place that makes you feel welcome and also has the food to keep you coming back.

Good fish and chips and a very good price! Friendly service and a nice, dive-like pub atmosphere. Bartender was friendly and chatted with us for a bit. It lost a star because of the skimpy amount of fries. Will be back for the price and easy location.
OK, so the proprietor is a Duck's fan, for some of you that's a plus and for me it's something to deal with and try not to let it mess up my focus on the food. If you are looking for a menu, it is on the chalk board behind the bar.... A little weird, but what do you expect, didn't I warn you that this is a U of O joint? This is where the place shines. The fish and chips plus popcorn shrimp are mighty good. The filets are reasonably sized but if it is only fish you'll probably want at least 3. The iced tea is fresh and not from concentrate and if you're thirsty the refills come quickly. It's a pub, on the plus side they seem to have four brews on tap. On the minus side, one of them is some University of Oregon special. The fries are the coated variety but not as obnoxious as some. Had they been fresh cut, with the skin on I would probably have added that last star.... Even if he is a duck fan. The place is small, clean, comfortable. The prices are half of what other pubs would charge so I'll definitely be coming back for dinner and try one of the other three brews to see how they are. A couple of big screen TVs are in the place to enjoy. Pub: Leave your under 21 friends at home or in the car, they won't be allowed inside. It's not on the main drags that I frequent but it was worth the drive. I can't wait to come back after football season. ( well, probably before then, but not with my Beavers buddies.
Me and my bf came here last night to try the famous fish and chips. My fish was excellent!! It was also such a great price. 6$ for 2 large pieces of fish and fries. The fries lacked seasoning and we're kind of bland but the fish made up for it. My bf got the fish and prawns. Overall very good and good prices.

I'm not a big ice cream fan, don't need the calories, but I've gone here for a friend who knows the owner drops off her farm fresh eggs for me there. The owner is extremely friendly and treats his employees well. Seems like a very well run place. He does a lot for the Gladstone community as well. So, it is a good place to buy ice cream from!! Selena
Great milkshakes: big is big! Nice hot fudge sundaes: with or without whipped cream, cherry and nuts! The chocolate fudge ice cream I have immediately bombarded to my favorite, but the Other Ice Cream Kind is still my superfave vote. So I am going to utilize my three star rating as an "okay-worth the money but not spectacular or good". Phew, that's decided!
Yum! Pretty good place to go if you need an ice cream fix. Only downsides are there are lines and service is okayish. The flavors of the month are nice, my favorite so far has been the Oreo cake flavor. For a chain it's not bad. For ice cream it could be better.

This review is from the Karaoke Nerds ! We go out of our way to visit karaoke places throughout the Portland Metro area. Karaoke here is Friday and Saturday nights. This is a little off the beaten path for us, but our friends just moved to estacada so we were ISO a 1/2 way point between our house and theirs. High Rocks Located behind the Harley Davidson, Subway, and kitty cornered from the holiday inn express. This place is a blast from the past with their country retro lounge decor. It was a seat yourself situation when we arrived at 9.P.M. Patrons were mostly mature age range of 35-95. Which is just fine in my book. Karaoke 4.0 Stars. Karaoke is located in a corner of the bar. The KJ did a great job balancing sound for the space. I was able to talk to my friends easily across the table and I didn't have to yell at the waitstaff to place my order. High Rocks does not have a stage area, there is no special lighting. It is a basic setup done really well. KJ was friendly and was an awesome singer as well. He did not have any long dance/song breaks which is fantastic in my book. Singers for this saturday night 5-7 in rotation. KJ has a great song selection with some surprises like The Smiths, Joy Division, etc. Perfect! 5.0 Bartender pours balanced beverages and they have a few good beers. Table service was basic/good. They checked back often. Could stand to be a little more upbeat and flash a smile. Food 3.5 star. Basic. About 30-45 min for our order to come out. I am not sure they know what to do with a veggie burger. We will prob order something else next time. It was not browned. Tater tots were perfectly cooked. I would skip the side salad. It was nothing but white Iceberg. Prime rib sandwich was interesting. I think they might have substituted a different cut of beef for the prime rib. Maybe the flat iron. Maybe they ran out because of the party. It was still ok I would order it again. They didn't ask me how I wanted the flat iron cooked. French Dip my friend had said it was good but it needed to be on a french roll. They were pretty busy right before we came in the door. The banquet room was full of patrons for a birthday party. I would imagine that they would have built in audience with the hotel across the parking lot. A hidden gem for karaoke that is off the beaten path. We liked it and we would come here again and bring friends and give the menu another shot. This was our first time here so I may add an update in a couple of months. Cheers! Sing on!
Love, love, love the nachos!! Its huge and can feed at least 4. Its kind of a funky restaurant, décor wise. Like stepping back in time but Im not sure which era you'd end up in. Servers are very friendly and helpful. Margaritas were great too!!
They have great priced cocktails here...but the food isn't that great. They are right down the street from me, and I've lived here for almost 4 years now ,and have only been there a couple of times. Isn't my scene, but like I said, a good place for inexpensive drinks. No frills and right near the river too! :)

Happy Restaurant

Reviews:
The OC is totally devoid of edible, fat face American style Chinese food. Wait wait, I know all about the Panda Express but I kind of like a cup of scalding, vague oolong and a Chinese astrology chart when I slurp my egg flower soup, so in a we are all sick of turkey, quality ingredients and eating at home mood we flung the children into the car and down the hill to Happy Restaurant. My parents live 3 blocks from the Happy, and have been raving for ages bout how perfectly icky and delicious it is. I knew it was dumpy, I had no expectations about the cleanliness, decor or service inside and that worked in my favor I'm sure. The waitress who helped us was nice and efficient, helped me figure out the ancient high chair and brought out tea and water with a quickness. We ordered off the combo menu with the exception of my 8 year old who only likes white rice and orange chicken. I felt like the combo prices were a solid 2 bucks too high, and although they serve ungodly portions for said price it's hardly worth it when my hungryhungryhusband doesn't even begin to clear his plate. The shrimp egg roll was huge and tasty, the pork fried rice was so plain, and sad nary a frozen carrot or bite of meat to be found and utterly lacking flavor. Chow mein was awful. Just gross and I love salty, mushy, weird ass chow mein, but something was totally wrong here. We still wolfed it down, read our "fortunes" and high tailed it back home. Within an hour of eating my 8 yr old complained of a screaming head ache which was cured by an aspirin and 2 big bottles of water, and my poor hubs head was hurting so bad he put himself to bed. Me thinks MSG is to blame, and I suspect my childhood eating horrible Chinese in and around Gresham saved me from a similar fate, anyhow I'm not happy with Happy.
I actually like the food here.. It reminds me of the Chinese food I grew up eating.. I had a combination plate and I probably ate 1/4 of it before I was full.. They have a banquet room and it worked great for a small wedding party..
Tasty, non-greasy Chinese food. My family has been going here for pretty much my whole life, - we all love $8.50 Combo #1! I realize the decor's shabbiness is probably off-putting to those who didn't grow up in Happy Rock, but for the locals it is weirdly endearing. I like that it still looks like 1989! I also like that the prices are great, and the combos will fill you up (unlike most Portland-based restaurants, where you will pay twice as much for half as much food). And the servers have been so nice for as far back as I can remember. Long live the Happy!

I have been here several times and have never had any issues, just typical, average subway products and services. Hence the three star average rating.
I hate to give one star but it was appropriate. Over all the years of traveling Subway was my go to for something semi-healthy and small towns when I didn't have a lot of time to grab food. This Subway has a drive-through as well. A normal Subway usually has 2 to 3 people on staff at locations without a drive-through so you would think on a nice day having a drive-through you would double your staff or at least add one additional person to satisfy the drive through traffic. There were only two people on staff trying to work the inside and the drive-through and neither one of them seemed very experienced or trained. I chose the drive-through and there were three vehicles in front of me. It took 25 minutes to get to the speaker to order. I would've exited the drive-through but it just so happens there is a curb and parking spaces on one side and on the other side is a fence and the building so I was boxed in with cars also behind me. When I finally got to the speaker I ordered one of their two featured sandwiches on the menu. The order taker was not aware of what their featured sandwiches were nor what was on them. She said "I can't see the menu you are looking at" I had to proceed to tell them what the featured sandwiches were and how much they were. (At this time I'm thinking my sandwich should be free!) I pull up to the next window and it took another five minutes for anyone to appear to take my money. I didn't get a sorry for the delay or nothing. She tried to charge me more then what the menu said the price of the sandwich should be. I corrected her and then she had to go in the back and do who knows what before she could give me my change. I finally got my six-inch sub and...... SURPRISE!!!! It was not what I ordered. :-( So after spending 42 minutes of my life, that I will never get back, in a drive through and getting a sandwich that wasn't what I wanted. No, I will never be back! So unless you have a lot of extra time on your hands or love the thrill of wondering what you're going to get when you get to the drive-through window I suggest thinking twice before you enter this drive-through because you won't be able to exit. 2015-61
Poor service in drive thru here as well, I was given the wrong order, then was told they would fix it on my next trip?! I complained and finally got my order, but asked to speak to the owner, and recieved nothing from the owner, horrible service here.
