Loved our pizza and the service at Carlino's. I rarely eat the crust on my pizza but I loved theirs. This was my second visit and I have enjoyed each very much. Say no to the big pizza chains and give this a try.

Delicious and affordable the cold Italian was great. The bread is amazing. Good service too with clean eating areas.

They are jerks here! I asked what there delivery range was and he said 3 miles then he had rude tone and attitude . I was asked where I lived I gave address. he immediately said that's out of our range! Ok I understand -I just looked up on the map I am 3.1 miles away from them for them to act like that is ridiculous I will never order from them after the one guy and one conversation. I have family that have ordered from them for years and like the food that usually comes to them but say they make a lot of mistakes on their orders and when confronting the business they have never corrected their mistakes or been apologetic. I hate leaving bad reviews but I think they've earned it.

Frequent Carlino's for lunch and always pleased. The ladies working are always very friendly and talkative, their chicken walnut sandwich is great, and they are super speedy without sacrificing quality. What separates Carlino's from other sandwich shops is the bread. It is just amazing! I enjoy the break from the sometimes pretentious Portland foodie scene and love finding family run gems like this out in Gresham and Fairview. Carlino's clearly cares about the quality of food and service. Great place.

Nothing bad to say about this place. Their food and beer is exactly what I needed for lunch. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere

I heard about this place through Groupon, and I wasn't expecting anything special when I arrived at this little nook in Fairview. The interior is nice and gives off that "family owned" vibe. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and some chili cheese fries to go and the lady at the counter was friendly enough. It was fairly busy, which was not surprising on a Saturday afternoon. It took about 25 minutes for my order to be ready, but the pizza tasted amazing! Such a perfect balance of cheese and the crust was very tasty. On the other hand, the chili cheese fries were not that special. If you are in this part of town and are a fan of pizza, I recommend giving this place a try.

I found the sandwiches we got to be no better than something, some kid you know's mom might throw in their lunch box.

Great meat lovers . Small feeds 2 people, pizza sauce is kinda spicy so don't add red peppers until you taste. Crispy mozarella sticks....yum, high on the list to return

This would be a review about their pizza, but I haven't actually received it! I went on their website and placed an order for two pizzas at 2:27 PM. I asked for delivery ASAP and they gave me a time of 3:02 PM according to the e-mail confirmation I received. As I write this, it is now 4:10 PM and I have neither seen nor heard from them at all. No call to me of any kind, and I have attempted to call them five times over the past 10 minutes or so and the phone just rings and rings for over a minute each time before beeping like it's going to a fax machine or voicemail. I was hungry when I placed the order, I'm hungrier now, and it's time to eat something else. If you have an online order service, you'd better get it right and you'd better answer your phone when someone tries to call to check on it. Completely unacceptable and inexcusable. I'll update if I actually ever hear back from them or get someone showing up with the food. (Note: I walked in a couple months ago to try a burger and liked it. I don't know if they're open today or not because of the holiday weekend, but if they are closed their online ordering service should reflect that and not allow someone to actually place an order.) (Added Note, 9/6/15: Never heard anything at all from them yesterday.)

The pizza is so good, but I came today for the pizza sandwiches! The bread was freshly roasted and the food was very hot coming out of the kitchen. I did not expect the sandwich to come out so quickly! They also do delivery, and I am definitely going to come back. Some of the best I've ever had!

While there food is usually great, I am so beyond upset with their service today. I ordered online, as I always do. I have always gotten my food delivered before the 30 minute estimate. After 40 minutes of waiting I called and was told that it would be another 39 minutes. She was very unapologetic and did not seem to care. All that I ordered was one small pizza. And it took over an hour to deliver it one block away to my home. I'm so sad because their food usually rocks but I don't think I'll ever order their food again. This experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth.

We love the pizza! But a little confused that we can't substitute a veggie for a veggie on a pizza. We where told if we took off a topping we would be charged to add another at the same value. Unfortunately that's not good customer service in my opinion. So only three stars from me. But regardless of the silly rules the food is great!!

I have been getting Pizza from here since it was attached to the chevron down the block. the food is good quality but the flavor has faded over the years. The crust is my favorite part. Make it big and fluffy again. With lots of flavor. I also love your sandwiches and cheesecake. Nut up the crust and you're back in the game!

Love Carlinos! Been coming here since moving to Fairview in 2000. Great sandwiches and pizza. Always good service. I like supporting local family business.

Really good pizza. I would definitely recommend Carlino's. Really clean environment too which is a plus. As for the prices I think they are reasonable considering they are privately owned. It's hard for these smaller places to compete price wise with corporate ran ones. Great customer service too.

My husband and I are not pizza people, but we were hungry :). So we stopped by and order a 12" Carlino Pizza combo with some buffalo wings. It was so yummy and the crust does not sit heavy like some pizza's. There wings are pretty good. I will definitely be going back there. The customer service was awesome and the owner ( I think) was very sweet.

This place has it all! The staff is very nice and the owner is great. He is very involved and it shows. I've had everything from sandwiches to salads and there amazing pizza. They have perfected the art of great crust. It's so flavorful and delicious. I'm not a drinker so I can't tell you how there cocktails are but they do have a full bar available as well. Definitely check this place out you won't be disappointed.

GREAT pizza and GREAT salads! You could tell the pizza dough was fresh, and the ingredients were great. The crust was not too thick but not too thin either, perfect!! However, I WOULD NOT dine in again. It is not a very welcoming feeling, the booths and seating (we tried both) were not comfortable and it is VERY QUIET. Like.. awkward quiet. But, who cares! We found a new pizza place that delivers or we can do carry out!

Amazing delicious food! The place is also very clean. 3 stars (not 5) because they nickel and dime you for the sauces which is unnecessary. (75 cents per 1/4 cup of their cup size of ranch)

We are regulars at Carlinos! BEST PIZZA on the east side!!! The service is always great. And I love that we are keeping it local and family owned. They have Groupons often and the service remains the same!

I've never had anything bad from this restaurant. As long as they've been around I've been going. Their pizza is great and my favorite item is their chicken walnut sandwich. Great family-owned business!

So this place is right down the street from my school and it surprised me, in a good way! Looks like a bit of a diner when you walk in. But the food was decent. I had the very delicious bread sticks and the ceasar salad. Both were a decent portion and the staff there was patient with my questions. The one thing I would say is that the marinara sauce they gave me wasn't that great and it was cold. Next time I will not ask for it, I will stick with the ranch to dip I will be back!

While this place looks clean and very busy, I would never bring my business here. Last week I was walking by and an elderly fellow called to me from where he was parked in a disabled parking space. He asked me if I could let the folks inside know he was there to get his order, and could someone be so kind as to bring it out. I was happy to help and went in. After being ignored for several minutes while the girls worked in the back, I was finally able to pass on the message. Their response? "We aren't carside to go. We know this guy, he's lazy. He can walk if he wants to." I could tell other customers were as shocked as I by their gaping mouths. I returned today, asked to speak to the manager, and the first thing he said to me was, "What is this regarding? I am very busy and do not have time for this!" I started to tell him, and he said, "This old guy is lazy!" I repeated that the gentleman was obviously legally disabled and the manager, Dave, repeated that the elderly disabled man was lazy and ended the conversation. I walked out in total disbelief a manager and his staff could be so callous and unwilling to help a regular customer that was elderly and disabled. Spend your money somewhere else, this kind of disregard for others doesn't deserve your business.

Stopped by while biking, got a meatball sandwich to go. The place was real clean, nice staff. Sandwich came quickly. When I got home to eat it. I at first thought there was too much bread to filling ratio. As I ate it, it all 'came out even' as Francis likes to say in the kids stories by Russell Hoban. Pretty tasty. If you are in this part of town, you dont have a lot of choices but this is one option.

Meh. A nice looking place in a little hard-to-find location. The sandwiches are good. I ordered a small pesto pizza for $14. Way too expensive for a personal size, and the pesto flavor was a little lacking. Good with other toppings though.

Went in with a Groupon for the first time and had a very good first impression when i walked in, clean restaurant, and they greeted me and my family the second we walked in. I had a few picky questions and the cashier dealt with me in a nicely manner. The food came really quickly. They really care about there establishment because they kept checking back on us seeing if everything was good. The pizza was great and there was a wide selection on the menu. i recommend the garlic and cheese bread and buffalo wings. We will definitely be back. Thanks to Groupon! Keep up the good work Carlinos!

I am in love with the Flying Hawaiian sandwich. It's a yummy Hawaiian pizza all melted together on delicious focaccia bread. Its a good size sandwich that leaves me full and happy every time. Give the pizza sandwiches a try, they are my favorite thing I've had there.

Sorry Carlino's, even with a Groupon I feel like I way overspent. For 1 Large Pizza, 1 Medium Pizza, 1 pitcher of beer and 2 sodas I spent $39. This included the cost of the Groupon. If the pizza had been good I would have been fine with it. Mostly tasteless pizza sauce and so-so toppings. The crust was good, but that's where it ended. No plans on returning. Virtually dead for the hour we were there, from 5-6PM. Surprised they are still in business. For MUCH better pizza go to other close by pizza shops: The Rock, Godfather's or Flying Pie.

Pizza, sandwich combo hard to beat It's one thing to find a great pizza parlor, but it's a wonder to find one that serves awesome sandwiches too. Carlino's Pizza & Deli is a hot place in Fairview for both dinner and lunch. My friend, who lives in Fairview, first turned me onto their pizza. We wanted to have a good dinner at her house without having to cook, so we called for some take out. We ordered the combination, which I typically don't like being a plain pepperoni girl. This was good, though, and something about the spices made the veggies on it taste better. My friend mentioned that they made great sandwiches too, so I took her suggestion and picked up a turkey sandwich for a day trip. She didn't stir me wrong. The bread was to die for. Tip: Pick up some sandwiches to go and head out to the scenic Columbia Gorge for the day.

Boy, I wish I could give this a better review. The people are so nice and they obviously love their restaurant, but the pizza just isn't that good. It reminds me of Dominos. The crust has that rubbery bready quality and the sauce is totally meh. They ought to dig down and compete with Flying Pie and make some real pizza with great ingredients.

A favorite lunch spot. Pizza sandwiches are their specialty - and they're fantastic. The staff is super-friendly, the service is fast & the food is consistently tasty. I've never had a bad meal. The one downfall is the extra charge for dipping sauce - a small portion of marinara, ranch, etc will run you $.75. After spending $7 for a sandwich, this extra charge is annoying.

I keep going back...so...I guess it's not bad. It's just not my favorite. You can get a lot better pizza a lot of places for less money. So- I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're next door getting coffee and hunger strikes- in that situation, this place is pretty convenient. Ironically that exact situation has happened more than once.

Great pizza, sandwhiches and servce. Everything tastes very fresh and the pizza dough is hard to beat. The only reason I am giving a 4/5 is because their salads are fairly subpar.
