So we are going through some unseasonably good weather right now, so my wife and I were able to go for a ride out in Clackamas County. We decided to stop in Estacada for some food. Fortunately, we used Yelp, and we hit the jackpot!!! My wife had one of the specials, which had tuna on a bagel with melted cheese and tomato. I had a hamburger. The burger was nice, and her tuna melt and soup (tomato) was really good. We decided to split a donut before we left. WOW!!! That donut was...magical! I was expecting a base cake donut, but what I experienced was a moist, cake-y piece of deliciousness. Totally took me by surprise. One of the best donuts I have ever had! Put me in the best mood for the ride home. I see this becoming a regular stop when I ride out east. I definitely want to try their breakfast next time I go in.
This place is amazing - it's the best classic breakfast I've ever had. I would recommed anything that involves their bacon and their toast! All the bread is homemade, and they have delicious crumb donuts, too - A perfect place to go after a camping trip :)
Love this place. Friendly staff. Down home feel. Great cinnamon rolls. We love the egg bagel breakfast sandwich. They only use organic which is great! Best breakfast in Estacada ! Good donuts too!

The Grind Coffee House

Reviews:
As my boyfriend and I drove down Highway 224 to our campsite at Lazy Bend campground I saw this little grey building that said COFFEE and FREE WIFI and I thought to myself, "This will be where my sanity lives this week." So on our first morning we woke up freezing and hungry and high tailed it to The Grind. I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant and ordered a large coffee which comes with free refills. It was awesome. My boyfriend ordered the veggie wrap which was pathetic so I wouldn't recommend that but their coffee, breakfast sandwiches and muffins were all pretty good. Everything was affordable and the staff was very friendly. It was a great getaway from our getaway.
Estacada is small, but we do have a lot of Coffee Houses, but if you want the best - The Grind is the place to go! The coffee is wonderful, the staff: delightful and according to my 10 year old - "they make the best biscuits and gravy - even better than yours, Mom" He doesn't get points with me, but surely does with the Grind! If you are in Estacada, this is the place for a relaxing cup of joe!
The girls at The Grind are AWESOME! They remember what you like, remind you to get those stamps on your punchcard. They make an otherwise uneventful morning so much more pleasant.

My daughter and I decided to try Andale Andale. We had low expectations for several reasons. The place has been several other restaurants in the past few years, we are from TX and miss real Mexican, and then throw in small town skepticism. Both of us felt guilty. Zuri, our server was over the top good. Best of all she did not know how great she was. Clearly the kitchen staff was also great as they accommodated beautifully letting me have two different enchiladas, with two different sauces, etc. The flavor was great, presentation beautiful, the restaurant was super clean, service excellent, and the meal was very affordable.
Went and had lunch a couple of months ago and the food was just boring and bland. Expected more.
The food at this hidden spot is excellent. Living on the east side we don't have many choices that are good. This place excede my expectations. The torta Cubans was excellent and my friends had wet burrito with birria and Chile relleno and they all said it was excellent. Be prepared to eat as they have huge portions. I will definitely back!!

Very odd place, hard to find the entrance. 4-5tables in an otherwise deserted dining room with pictures sitting on the floor. But...... Excellent dinner!! I had Carnegie con quest cheese and chicken and rice. My partner had a beef burrito. Well cooked, well seasoned and very good coffee to go with it. Good service, worth a try if you feel adventurous and are stuck in estacada some evening.

Have you ever walked into somewhere not in the best mood and someone just looked at you and realized that your problem was something else entirely and they went out of their way to help you have a better day? That happened tonight. See my other review for further details of what got us there but, looking forward... Our wonderful server (can you believe I didn't ask her name? I should have but I was tired and frazzled, but she became our hero.) opened up some space for my 3 starving children, memorized our order, brought us hot and fresh food, made us laugh several times, and went out of her way to make us happy. The food was hot, the fish and chips delicious, I kept looking to see if I could see her cape. She brought us boxes without even having to ask, cups for the kids leftover drinks, and chocolate to top off the meal! She helped a stressed mom relax, and we left feeling like we had made a friend. That's how you build loyal customers. :)
As always TONS of amazing food from seafood to fish to chicken to beef! Hefty portions, beautiful views and a great friendly wait staff! I have been dining here for 28 yrs and still love it and the staff!
In my view, things are going downhill here. The service was only adequate. The restaurant was so loud, it was hard to hear. I ordered the 8oz filet medium rare. It came out medium. The potato was nothing better than what could be cooked at home. The veggies were steamed and tasteless. In short, if this were not the only game in town I would never come back. Thank God for the view.

LOVE Sparkys! Wish the Estacada location was open for lunch. Great pizza.
In my opinion this is the best pizza in town. The employees are polite and friendly. I do wish that they delivered but the pizza is good enough to drive for
Damn good pizza. Perfect place to stop after rafting the Upper Clackamas.

Had a good dinner there the other night. We've been going there on and off for over 25 years and it's always good.
Ate lunch here the other day. Sat in the back lounge portion. Asked for a sandwich recommendation. The Delicious Dipper and with fries. Came out hot and delicious. Good au jus. Good brown gravy for my fries. Drawbacks might be I could hear gambling machines over everything else.
If the service was faster and better I would have given it 5 stars. They only had 1 waitress for a full restaurant and every table was full and it ok 23 minutes to ask us for our order and even longer to get he food for a family of 6 never refilled my coffee or any drinks for that matter while we were patiently waiting for our food. Thank god for keno slips and pencils to keep my 5 year old happy!

They have great dinner type food and chicken fried steak and gravy is awesome. There Philly Cheese steak is one of my favorite. Their breakfast burritos are huge and can feed at least 2 people. The fish and chips are really good. We have had a lot of menu items and so far have not been disappointed. Some times when you dine in the service can be a little lacking but not so bad I would not go back such as having to ask for drinks and condiments. Would definately recommend if you are passing through are little town. You wont be disappointed.
Biker Friendly THEY NOW HAVE THEIR DOORS OPEN FOR BUSINESS! Little Lew's is a spin off from Lew's on McLaughlin Blvd in Milwaukee. Good 'ol greasy spoon fast food with a classic drive-in feel. Burgers, shakes, fries, fish and chips, all in a paper lined red plastic basket, just like the good 'ol days. Lew's has the reputation for one of the better car cruise-ins in the greater metro area. Check for dates. So if the top is down on your '57, and the bobby socks are on ( don't forget the ponytail on your gal ), and your on a sunny afternoon roll into the country, stop on by.
Cool theme and very nice employees. Their rootbeer float was great, as well as the french fries. I'd go just for the ice cream and fries. However, other food that we ordered was not as tasty as I had hoped. It was definitely greasy food fare. I had the Mega Taco Salad which lacked flavor. Maybe we went on an off night.

This is an Okay restaurant, the beef broccoli is very good, and also the fried wontons is okay.. I came here for lunch and got the lunch time special. overall it is okay for an small town! i will come again!
The food wasn't great. The pork was extra fatty tonight. I used to go here all the time when I was younger and the food was much better.
Haters gonna hate. I loved it when this place was actually in Sandy. It was a regular go to for Chinese when living with my parents in Sandy. After moving to Portland and making visits to see them they made Wongs King a take out treat. The relocation to Estacada doesn't make much sense but it seems to be the same quality. I love the combination dinners, family style, Mongolian beef, Singapore rice noodles, the egg rolls OMG the egg rolls and honestly everything is delicious. I don't think I've ever been disappointed. Good Chinese at a reasonable price and quality is so widely lacking in this state and even in the city of Portland. I really don't understand why either. Anyways, if you are in Estacada, Boring or Sandy take a pretty drive and try some decent Chinese. I miss it and often have craving.

Reviews:
Wow this place gets tore up. It's all about expectations, this place is not a good restaurant and the service tends to be a bit standoffish, but if your expectation is to enjoy a low maintenance, quality beer, then this is the place for you. I've been here multiple time and their beer is tasty and really hits the spot after long days of playing outdoors.
No locals here, why? Because Fearless is notorious for bad food, bad service, and treating their staff poorly, the permanent "help wanted" sign in the window should be your first clue. Owners won't let the sound be turned up on the TV, charging out the nose for marginal food. If you want good beer, sure they have it. Sadly, that's all that keeps them going.
We went to Fearless for beer and lunch today--first time in Estacada. We thought in general the food was better than the beer. We both love IPAs, and both thought their IPA was OK, but had a very floral aftertaste that I just did not like. Since we weren't enjoying the IPA that much, we decided to go for a 4 glass taster, and tried the porter, Scottish ale, red ale and the cream ale. I think my favorite was the Scottish ale which seemed the most balanced. We both agreed we probably won't be back for the beer. The food was pretty good though. I had the Philly cheesesteak, and James had the catfish sandwich. We shared the cheese fries. Anything with melted cheese on it is great in my book! We both thought our sandwiches were pretty good. And the service was very good. We had two attentive waitresses helping us, and they were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere and decor of the brew pub is very nice too. If we liked the beer better, I would have given it higher stars! Just not our cup of ....beer.
