The other reviewer wasn't kidding when they said - best pancakes ever! These are THE best pancakes you'd ever eat! Highest quality, amazing find!
Good home poked food and fun decor. We had a simple breakfast of eggs bacon toast and hash browns before we hiked up inEagle Cap wilderness. Hash browns were great, toast with blackberry jam was fantastic. Great meal to start a big day. Only disappointment was that I ordered tea and the water was not super hot. I've hardly ever had a good c of tea in a restaurant. My wife ordered coffee and.it was excellent.
One of the best offerings for breakfast in Enterprise. Be sure to order French press coffee, the house coffee is bland & weak.

I'm from vegas and i met the owner years ago when he worked at a different Mexican restaurant in Oregon. That place had the best Mexican food I ever ate and i longed for it from 1000 miles away in a city with 10 Mexican places every other block. When I heard he'd opened his own place in a different town I decided to visit again. I drove past his old place with a heavy heart hoping that I was not making a mistake. My faith, however, was thankfully rewarded with the first dish that I ordered. The shrimp and rice was loaded. I counted at least 14 huge shrimp in the sauce with peppers, onions, mushrooms and smothered with cheese. The flavors were exquisite and every bit as good as the memory of the other place. The tortillas were hot and plentiful, and to top it off the price was unbelievably low for a shrimp plate. I'm not sure if that's how it is in Oregon or just his place but shrimp on average costs at least 50% more in the cheap places back home. Either way you can't go wrong with this place. I'll be here for a few days and I'll sample more of the menu but I'm sure I will not be disappointed.
We enjoyed the very friendly service, food was outstanding, the skirt steak was tender and seasoned just right and lots of shrimp. The chicken enchilada was outstanding with lots of white meat. The Margareta was good and not watered-down. Skip desert. We will be back the next time we are in town.
Best Mexican food in town-ask any local. The other place looks good on the outside, but this one has the friendliest service & great food every time. Love that the chips & salsa are always fresh

Probably the best burger I've had in a long time. Worth the stop - and try the elk burger!
Great burgers! But ask for a menu--it's not all on the menu up front. Great service, loved our burgers and shakes. The fries tasted like they were fried in old oil, but that was my only qualm. It's actually a really nice place on the inside, don't pass it up!
They serve pretty good burgers (beef, bison, and elk) among other things. Their milk shakes are pretty tasty too. There aren't too many places in Enterprise to eat, and this one is pretty good.

My companion summed it up quite well in her recent review. To second that, the veggie omelet was GREAT. There are plenty of options for carnivores, omnivores, and herbivores. Chef Steve Lear does a fine job. Plus, I was very pleasantly to discover that they had an upright piano, which I played for half an hour after eating. That might not be a selling point for most people, but it is a huge bonus for a pianist who needs to stay in practice. :-) I look forward to returning to Lear's on future visits to the area!

Great turkey sandwich! The bread was fresh baked and served quickly! Ignore the troll.
First of all.. This Troll Mike didn't do his reseach. If you ask around town (which you should before trying any mom and pop) you'll find that people drive 50 miles just for the apple fritter.. So this obvious diabetic went straight for the burger and missed the main attraction (sad). As for the fritter... its simply amazing! crunchy and sweet with a caramel glaze that cracks just right :) i go camping at the lake every year and this is definitely a highlight. Get there early especially on the weekend becase they usually run out of apple fritters quite quickly!
It's a small-town BAKERY that was closed on weekends! Who does that? We were so disappointed. Wish they had their hours listed somewhere so we would have known!
