Stopped here for lunch after a meeting in Creswell. Diner was clean and well kept up. There were four of us with two of us ordering the Club sandwich, one burger and one breakfast plate. The club was very good with nice crisp bacon and just enough lettuce. The fries that came with it were cold and seemed like they had been sitting for a while. We also ordered onion rings which were very tasty but a bit overcooked. Overall the food was good and I hope we just hit them on a bad day because it could have been excellent. I would probably give them another try if I was in the area again.

Joe's Diner was a very pleasant surprise. A diner in an area that apparently was lacking for diner's. The friend that lives in Creswell had never been so we figured we might as well all go over and try it for the first time together. I started out with a large cup of their hot cocoa which came out with whipped cream and chocolate syrup on top. Not being a coffee drinker, cocoa is where I find my warm in the fall and winter months. A good beginning. As far as main dishes go, the portions here are huge. Keep that in mind when ordering. Sue had one of their egg breakfasts which came with a side of meat, hash browns and french toast. She barely was able to finish the french toast much less the second plate of eggs, meat and potatoes. I had one of their skillets which was also very big. Loaded with eggs, hash browns, bacon (you have a choice of sausage or ham too), cheese and veggies which also came with your choice of toast or biscuits. I had biscuits and 2 came out. Sadly they didn't seem like they were made in house, but they weren't bad for what they were. There is a Joe and he looks like the picture on the sign out front. Another thing that stood out were the purple chairs. A cool visual extra for you to enjoy. They've only been around for a few months which explains the lack of reviews or pictures. It is time to put Joe's on the map. They are definitely worth a shot.

Great small town diner food. Excellant service, good prices, what more can you ask for for a small town diner? The burger I had was very good, refils came on my drink non stop. Washed it all down with a tasty choclate shake.

Located conveniently near the I-5 interchange, this large diner serves traditional American diner food. I had a classic chili dog with french fries. The cheese was 50 cents extra. The hot dog was grilled and cut open, served on the opened bun and then covered with chili beans, cheese and onions. The non-greasey, golden fries were similar to those at fast food drive-ins. A filling and inexpensive meal.

Based on other reviews, we decided to stop on our way south. The good reviews are well deserved! I had a bowl of Momma's Chili - definitely not out of a can. Great flavor and nice chunks of meat. The side salad was good sized with scratch made Bleu cheese dressing. Wife had the black bean veggie burger, said it was one of the best flavored she'd had in a while. We will definitely come back.

I've been in Creswell long enough to remember this building starting as Dairy Queen, then becoming the Rocket-In, and now Joe's Diner. To me, I've only noticed the name change and the slight decor change; the tables and chairs are the same purple ones from the Rocket-In days but they took down the rockets(that my dad painted and donated) that hung from the ceiling. The food is decent. Prices are a tad high for what they offer. I notice the portion sizes vary. The ladies are friendly. I recommend it if you're passing through. It's worth a try.

OK, this is the Great American Diner, alive and well in Creswell. The menu is exactly what you'd expect: breakfasts, hamburgers, etc. and everything I've had so far has been solid. I have to say, though, that the coffee was a little wierd once, but only once. My last visit was an odd one: the waitress took my order, and then disappeared. I mean, as in gone, as was my food order. Turns out that she had a family emergency, which I can understand is not an every day thing, and left without even remembering to order my breakfast from the cook. They figured this out pretty quickly, though, and my eggs were soon on the way. Excellent quality, too. They not only apologized for the delay, but they took half off the check without my even hinting or asking. Turned a great $10 meal into a super $5 one, and I thank them.

I give three stars because, although Joe's is your average diner, nothing really jumped out at me. Service was very good, they made a root beer shake even though it wasn't on the menu. The burgers were decent, but EVERYTHING costs extra! Just put a bacon cheeseburger on the menu! French Dip was tasty, but very little meat, I was very surprised how small it was. You actually have to open the bun to see if the meat is there!!! Excellent onion rings, and they fries were great. We will go back, but won't have huge expectations.

Wife & I both had a hamburger @ Joe's Diner. This was our third time @ the diner & was our best trip yet. Very good hamburgers. We will be back.

Coffee a big improvement over the former Rocket Inn, but Joe I hope this is a wake up call for you: I ordered an cheese omlette with bacon, and the bacon and the hashbrowns extra crispy. Half of the bacon in the omlette was raw and the hashbrown were just a little crispy on the top. The toast was barely done and look like it was soaked in some sorta butter substitute, and was soggy. I was very disapointed. I hope you can get it together, because I have always enjoyed breakfast at the Rocket Inn in the past.

Yay! A cute diner in Creswell - So needed!. This place just opened today, October 7, 2013. I had a basic omelette with veggies and meat, hashbrowns and an English muffin, with coffee. The omelette was perfectly done and tasty, the browns were crispy on the outside, and not greasy, and the service was super friendly. A very nice hometown cafe that I will be happy to return to.
