Good hot dogs and good drinks and good chips! Cheap and fast!

I worked here about two years back and ate the food a lot. The cookies are AMAZING!! Super delicious and home made by the owners wife and then fresh baked every day. Great flavor combinations. The rest of the food reminds me of cafeteria or hospital food. It's all kind of bland and the condiments can be too. The 'dawg' sauce was terrible! I kept trying to like it and it always left a weird after taste. They offer great value deals. Really close to campus and the bars.

I love roxy dawgs after a night out, I usually don't eat it for lunch because I really don't crave greasy food during the day. However, this place really is delicious, and the prices are great! I recommend ordering their daily specials because you get a lot of food for $5.75! Their cookies are so soft and delicious, and my favorite hot dog is the beaver dog, which is stuffed with bacon. YUM

Great place to satisfy your hot dog cravings! Oooo and the cookies! I mentioned to my bf that they looked flat, but ordered 2 anyways. The toffee and the white chocolate/macadamia nut were unbelievably delicious. Don't let the flatness of them steer you away. We ate both before our hot dogs even came out. This was obviously going to be an indulgent night for us. Tons of toppings and sauces to make any kind of hot dog you could dream up, and they have suggestions on the wall as well. I went with a regular dog with sauerkraut and mustard, my bf went with the bacon and cheese (beaver) dog, also excellent. First time check in and get a free order of tornado fries! Delicious. I dipped in chipotle mayo for an extra kick. Super friendly and quick service. Stop by, you won't be dissapointed.

Aaaw man.. Classic hotdog, tornado fry thing and a condiment bar that pushes the limit. This place is definitely comfort food for students on a budget. I highly recommend.

Always have great deals, food, and service. Not to mention a gluten free bun that actually tastes good. Always super nice girls who work up front. Makes it feel like I could hangout there all day

Fantastic tasting food, great atmosphere, relaxed vibe, and extremely pleasant conversation with the owner, Curtis. We even got free tornado fries with our dogs. Right next to OSU campus. Great to support this small Oregon business.

I eat here at least a couple times a month and always get the beaver dawg. Condiments are all solid. Big selection of bottled craft soda. Don't know how anyone could not like this place (and I'm as picky as anyone, having graduated culinary school and cooked in some fine dining joints). Owner is super nice and they're open late AND they're across the street from campus.

Roxy Dawgs is a small and simple hot dog joint on Monroe. On average you'll spend $7 here: a hot-dog combined with a specialty tornado fry just about does it. The condiment bar has everything you'd want, from relishes to pineapple slaw, onions and pickles to tomatoes and jalapenos. All different types of sauces, including a specialty sauce that's basically just a sweeter version of ketchup. For the price, it's location and the food provided is excellent. It's unfortunate that the location is so small, however. If there were more seating and room, about twice as much, it would receive 5 stars from me. Remodeling on Monroe to that extent just isn't an option, though.

The beaver dog is delicious! Bacon and cheese in a hotdog...what more can you ask for!? I highly recommend the dawg sauce as it is uniquely awesome!!! The cookies are homemade from scratch and are a family recipe! This place is a special gem that all should try!

If you want a hot dog, there's no better place to go. Ridiculous amount of choices and toppings. They also have the tornado fry, which is an entire potato cut into a spiral and deep fried with your choice of salt, pepper, or garlic parmesan. And they're generous with the parmesan too. It's also a few dollars cheaper than other options on the same corner, especially Local Boyz and Crystal Cafe.

Great dawgs, and a great selection of toppings. I've been going to this place multiple times a week and can't get enough. Prices are great and the staff is very friendly.

This place is good for what it bills itself as: a simple hot dog or sausage on the cheap. 5 Bucks gets you a dog, a drink and some chips. There's Mello Yello at the soda machine, there's a little topping bar with onions, tomatoes, two kinds of relish, sauerkraut and I'm probably missing a few. Several mustards and a special "roxy sauce" that I have quite taken a liking to. Supposedly the cookies are amazing too, but I haven't tried them yet. If you go on a Friday/Sat night there will probably be some drunk college kids in there so be prepared if that's not your cup of tea. Although, I did go on a Saturday around 11, wasn't really that many people in there. I've also been around lunch time on a weekday and it wasn't particularly busy then either. They occasionally post specials on their FB page and also give out free dogs to people who have hit the like button, so there's that.

Amateur at best. This place wants to emulate a Chicago-style dog joint without the Chicago element. A grilled "dawg" with condiments is nothing out of the ordinary and can be made at home. Where are the poppy seed buns, the celery salt and the fresh fries to pile on top of the "dawg" and where is the damn pickle spear? Grilled? WTF? The best Chicago "dawgs" are steamed or boiled, but never grilled. This place has potential for being a unique niche eatery if they would ditch the plain-jane home style "dawgs" and try for some authenticity. The good: Nice location, fair price, and good variety of "dawgs" to choose from. The bad: Plain food, non-chicago style, lack of condiments, no refills on drinks. The name and logo are completely annoying and way to cutie-pie for a corner hot-dog joint.

I am not sure why people give this place a bad rap. The hot dogs here are delicious. The beaver dog won my heart. The fries are okay, like another user said, they seem to be the same type of fries bought at the store. They are not fried or anything, rather cooked on the flat grill. Love the happy hour beer and dog special. The salads are decent, meaning they don't use the iceberg lettuce junk. I def will be coming back for a hot dawg.

Roxy Dawgs was a great stop for a post game meal. The service was great and worth the little wait, plus it kept us out of post game traffic. The fried potato wedges were great, but the real treat was the Louisiana Red dawg. It was full of flavor and delicious on the toasted roll. The Bistro "special" sauce was great as well. The had a wide selection of condiments and the place was clean. The only issue I had was they only served Pepsi products and I'm a Coke guy.

Awesome! Best hot dog I've head for a while. Staff was super friendly, and the food was great. I had the "BeaverDog" which was awesome. It had bacon and Tillamook cheddar cheese in it. The "fries" aren't actually what I'd call fries, but they're wicked good. I'd give these guys a five out of five, but the only thing I had have to complain about is the price... $15 for two dogs, one fry, and a drink? O.o

Roxy Dawgs is a great little place at the edge of campus. I initially thought it was just a "hot dog place" and it took a little time for me to try it out. I sure am glad I did. Their chicken dogs and kielbasas are outstanding! Full of flavor, and priced right. Whenever I get a craving for a good quality sausage, Roxy Dawgs is the place. They also have a very thorough condiment bar, good beer selection, the place is clean, and bonus: they use compostable containers. Definitely worth the visit!

I decided to try Roxy Dawgs the other day and was not disappointed at all. I was incredibly impressed. The customer service was more than I expected. It was a friendly and personal atmosphere. And the chili cheese dog that I had was amazing! I will be going back here more often!

This little joint is excellent for a quick bite to eat. They have a delicious selection of sausages (Kielbasa, Bockwurst, Chicken Apple Gouda, Spicy Chicken, and more) which taste good and come on Kaiser rolls. Once you have your dawg there's a bar of condiments which include saurkraut, tomatoes, and a lovely "Bistro Sauce", among the standards. They make an italian pasta salad that's quite good, and the only mark I have against them is that the macaroni salad is just repackaged Reser's. I went in one day and they had selection of various mustards for sampling that were awesome! Not a good place for a big group, but and quick intimate little lunch break works well.

What a cool place. Beaver Dog was very good. I tried the potato twist on a stick and it was really good, too.

We were looking for the Philly Steak food cart but to no avail. Stumbled upon this place. The 'dawgs' were great! The kid got a plain hot dog and happy with it. I got the brat and loaded it up with mustard, kraut and a pickle. Very tasty. Liked the tornado fries. We'll be back.

This is an awesome place to get a doctored up delicious dog!

I loved it! The special is $5 and the condiment bar is open to you so if you want something or not it's all under your control. Granted this is a hot dog joint so if your going in expecting a mind blowing delicious meal then someone should talk to you about hot dogs.... But if your looking for a good hot dog, clean space, and really friendly service then you're in luck.

*Vegetarian review* I get the rabbit food of course, and it's mighty tasty. It's the more authentic looking and better tasting veggie dog. Not incredibly filling, but just enough really. Employees are very friendly ,and that's what matters most to me.

YO MIGUEL IS THE HOMIE!! This guy absolutely made my night, and the veggie dog that I got was fantastic. Also, the plethora of toppings in the condiment bar made my meal even better. I'm definitely going back to Roxy Dawgs the next time I eat out.

Ok. This place rocks! The variety in the toppings bar is creative, fresh and plentiful. Great prices and simple straight forward menu that has a little something for everyone. There are countertop trivia cards and when I asked about the fries the (owner/manager?) offered to fry up some samples. Pretty impressive. Check it out :)

Food is good, but the service is ATROCIOUS. One employee or not I have never had to wait 40 minutes for a hot dog. I was about to make it myself.

I got the Regular Roxy Dawg....1/4 LBs of pure tasty Beef Hot Dawg! They have endless toppings and my Dawg was the "Dawg of the day" so I got a drink, cookie and Dawg for $5.75! Not bad :-) and on top of all that they had a deal where you checkin on yelp and get a FREE tornado fry. So to sum it all up I got ALOT OF GOOD FOOD for a good price :-)!

Good variety of dogs. Topping options are great, if you don't find what you crave, something is wrong.
