We are visiting from out of state and went in for sandwiches after reading the great reviews. We each had the Aviator, one on a baguette and one on a hoagie roll. They were delicious!! I love all of the choices of veggies and Greg will customize your sandwich so you have it just the way you want! The atmosphere was casual and you could tell nearly everyone who came In was a regular customer.

Probably the best deli in Corvallis hands down. All of the ingredients are fresh and the selection of meats are incredible! The owner is very personable and is quite generous with the portions. The hoagies are smaller, but pack a lot of flavor. If you want a truly massive sandwich, go for the muffulettas. The menu also offers vegetarian choices and kids meals as well as paninis. Make sure to check out the daily specials, especially Thursdays where you can buy one and get one at half price. Personally, I've tried all of the hoagies, paninis, and muffulettas and I prefer the hoagies with the Cristoforo, Ronaldo, and Capicolla & Salami hoagies, as well as the Pastrami on rye as being some of my most favorites.

Everything is so fresh and delicious!! The owner is really nice and personable which is great :-) My favorite sandwich so far was the Bobar! It was huge and tasted sooo good!

As a deli, there is none better in Corvallis. The owner is obviously very knowledgeable about the cheeses and meats he provides. So much so that when I went there for the first time I bought a half pound of expensive cheese, a whole pound of exquisite meat and the rest of his pancetta. The sandwiches are awesome too but let's just say I don't come here for them!

It's alright. The owner seems to be a nice guy, and this is a cute little place; however, with all the great reviews I honestly expected to be more impressed with the sandwiches. The bread was quite dense and out of proportion with the fillings, particularly the meat which was rather spartan.

Great sandwiches! Best in the area. Lots of cheese, meat, and topping selections. I work downtown Corvallis and it's the perfect place to pick up lunch. There is also seating inside so you have the option to eat there if your not on the go. The owner is very friendly and even when it gets busy, it's still worth the wait. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!

Phenomenal! Service, food, fresh, quality, taste, you name it. The only knock one might have is the portion size, but look at the price, ridiculously cheap. I travel the world and deli sandwiches are a staple. This place is a real find.

Pretty damn tasty for a sammy spot in this tiny town. Plus, the owner is AWESOME. We walked in and the place was empty. He was sitting in a giant office chair reading a Stephen King book. When he greeted us, I could I only think about how he TOTALLY looked and talked like THE DUDE. He runs the show here. We perused the menu and split a sandwich per his recommendation. It was HUGE. Like, maybe three people could have shared it. And it was good. He definitely takes his time while making the sandwiches....we totally lucked out with our timing. Just as we sat down to eat about 7 people walked in...and they had a little wait ahead of them. He carefully takes out the filling of the bread to make room for all the meat and cheese that's piled into each sandwich. You can definitely get a solid grinder here- and unique experience with the owner.

I'm no MapQuest, but me thinks Italy is about 8 billion miles from Corvallis, Oregon... but that doesn't mean you can't get something that slightly resembles the real thing in the Pacific Northwest. Corvallis gets an asterisk. It's not the best Italian sandwich joint I've been to... but there's a chance it's the best in Corvallis. Likewise, the "best" banh mi is nowhere near the best in the city... but it's a rare bird in this area of the country. Just a city slicker in town for the holidays - so what do I know? The proprietor of the shop is 100% Jeff Bridges on the DL. If you walk in and tell me he's not The Dude, I'll buy you 10 pounds of prosciutto.

Awesome sandwich. Friendly artisan at the counter. Don't miss it. Be smart and just leave it up to him to make you whatever he wants!

SO FREAKING DELICIOUS. These are the sandwiches of my dreams! The sandwiches I always want! The sandwiches that I would go bankrupt for! Desolate, on the street, turning tricks for these sandwiches. Oh yeah his shop is super charming too. :D I just wish the hours were reliable.

One of the first joints I tried after moving to Corvllis... like a deli in a den... lil chachki's everywhere, stuff to read, imported Italian items... Two coolers for the meats and the cheeses, real simple, a sandwich factory. I must admit, I haven't strayed far from "The Gregorio," named after the owner and oft "employee of the month." It's a mufaletta sammy with Capacola etc. on "mufaletta" bread. I like it toasted (panini'd). Man oh man... reminds me of San Francisco.

  • Courtney B.

I LOVED my sandwich! Loaded with Italian meats, all the toppings I wanted, it was perfect!

    (5)
  • Lauren R.

Definitely authentic Italian. The half size sandwich is huge. The paninis are A+. Some ingredients he uses are pickled and super good. Great place to go for cheese, meat and wine. The owner was very friendly and engaging. We will definitely be back!

I'm not very familiar with Corvallis, but I was very pleased to find this place on my short trip there today. I was waiting for my fur-babies to be done with their participation in a study at OSU's Veterinary Clinic - they like to volunteer for the cause of science - and I needed something satisfying. The unfair part on my side is that I arrived before 11 a.m. and he was not quite open, although I saw Greg putting out his sign as I was looking for a parking spot. A few minutes later, he returned with a bag of flour in hand and caught me just before I was about to leave and look for someplace else. Perfect timing. Upon entering, I was most impressed by the delicious array of cheeses in the case. If I'd been going right home, I'd have picked up something European to take home, but instead I just chose a Ronaldo sandwich 1/2 on regular hoagie bread. Mascarpone cheese is a nice touch with the spicy soppressata, genoa salame and pastrami, and Greg was attentive and patient with asking which veggies I wanted one at a time. I deducted one star just because the set-up is a bit awkward with me being the only one there. I felt a little bit like I was bothering him and I couldn't see the selection of meats that could be bought to take home. Maybe a list of dry salamis would be a great suggestion for someone like me who is driving back to Eugene who didn't remember to bring a cooler? At any rate, if I lived in the area, I'd be by frequently to check out the wines and groceries while enjoying a sandwich.

Their imported meats and cheeses are high quality, sandwich bread is fresh baked, and the muffaletta is THE BOMB! Add that olive tampenade to any of their sandwiches and you'll seriously have a mouth-gasm of epic proportions. Oh yeah, and their whole sandwich is HUGE! You can eat a whole one if you're big and crazy hungry, but it's best to share with a friend for lunch or dinner. Finally, the setting is so cute! Imported Italian foods up top (pastas, oils, spices, etc), a quaint dining area down in the basement, or eat outside on a beautiful summer's day! It's soooo good!!!! Along with Local Boyz and Nearly Normals, it's the only food I really miss from my Beaver days in cowtown!

  • David V.

I'm somewhat surprised at all the love. It's a good sandwich, but I don't feel like this is even a four-star place. I had the New Orleans muffaletta, sans bun as the shop was out of the correct bun. It's a bit surprising that the restaurant ran out of their signature sandwich bun, but OK. The meat was decent and the olive tapenade was fine. Undistinguished, honestly. The thing is, the ingredients were fine and the proprietor was a nice guy. If I lived in Corvallis, I could see visiting this place occasionally. I wouldn't make a special trip, tho.

Will not be going back, ever. I'm not going to slam the place, as obviously it has a following. All I can say is I've been there many times. Well, too many times. And I'm done. If cleanliness and freshness of product are an issue for you, I advise going elsewhere for lunch.

  • S P.

Tiny place with an old school feel, Italian meats and cheeses in a clear refrigerated case at the front of the store. My husband enjoyed his turkey on fresh baguette, however the baguette seemed a bit stale. No soda or drinks on tap, only cans, which, be careful, were very dirty around the lip of the can, must clean before drinking. The place looked like it needed to be cleaned, and the man making the sandwiches didn't use gloves to my surprise! best thing about this place are the thinly sliced deli meats, but I probably won't be returning as the sandwiches weren't that amazing, were a bit pricey, and cleanliness all around was lacking unfortunately.

Such good sandwiches! they will make them exactly as you want them! Its so nice to go somewhere and get delcious food and be able to have a good conversation with the owner :)

  • Kyle W.

This is seriously one of the best eats in Corvallis. This shop is, quite honestly, the very definition of what Corvallis aims to be: a bigger city with a small town feel. Greg runs his shop efficiently and has more in the way of meat and cheese selection than I care to count. When you walk through the door at N&C you are treated like family. Their wine selection isn't the best in the world, but no one goes there for the wine. If you do happen to stumble by this place right across from Matt's then you should stop in and try to Bober. It's a whole lot of everything, but it hits the spot. If you are lucky enough to remember to go on your birthday, you will get a bit of a hook-up from Greg ;).

  • Sue S.

This review is based on a narrow focus - this is a small storefront with an excellent selection of imported cheeses and cured meats. You can go there to buy meats and cheese to bring home, or you can get a truly delicious sandwich. I would steer you in the direction of the muffuletta. It's better quality bread with seriously delicious olive spread. The more the merrier with these sandwiches - tasty meats and cheeses and a wide variety of vegetable toppings.

  • Taste B.

Love it. If you can't find the owner/sandwich maker Gregg - check over at the Alt-Game-like store on the kitty corner. Makes GREAT sandwiches! MORE WINE nights needed! The best authentic sandwich in town.

  • Lee W.

We love the funky vibe of this place and the friendly patter Gregorio delivers as he makes your custom sandwiches. Haven't been for a while and were very pleasantly reminded of why we like this restaurant. The muffalatas are awesome. Stay local, eat local!

  • Stacey C.

Love sandwiches from this place thay are always fresh and the owner makes them right in front of you. The baguette is worth the extra .50 cents. The mufaletta is fantastic and you can buy the mix in jars right there. Prices are right and they have cans of San Pelligrino Limonata, I'm sold.

  • Jacob D.

2014 edit: OMG I wrote "cannolis" I'm so embarrassed. Everyone talks about how great the sandwiches are, and yeah they are great. But this place is a lot more than that - you can buy deli sliced meats and make your own sandwiches at home. Greg (ornery as hell and always hit on my fiance when we came in) sells both hot and sweet coppacolo, which is almost impossible to find anywhere else in this state. You can find the spicy stuff if you look hard, but the sweet? Only at N&C's. You can also buy real moscarpon cheese to make a real life tiramisu (not the fake tiramisu with lady fingers and whipped cream). The only thing he didn't have was cannoli, and I haven't been there in a while so maybe he has since gotten them. It's hard to compare this store to its competition because it has no competition. Italian delis are awesome, and this place is the only Italian deli for at least a hundred square miles. You can't get these authentic specialty meats at your grocery store, and you sure as hell ain't gonna get a sandwich like this at Quiznos or at Subway. You should eat here. Seriously.

OMG a little piece of Italia In Corvallis. I grew up in the North Beach District of San Francisco and love the Italian deli we have. Greg the owner is from there :) The toppings are incredible and meats/cheeses are of the finest quality. Like everyone else says UPGRADE TO THE BAGUETTE!!! I WILL BE BACK!!

  • Kimmy H.

Best sandwiches in Corvallis. No contest. High quality meats and cheeses. Delicious muffaletta mix (I'm not a big olive fan but I LOVE this mix) and bread. Roasted red peppers. A variety of veggies. And a ornery owner named Greg you can't help but love. The New Orleans and Gregorio are my favorite muffalettas. Or if you get a hoagie style sandwich, upgrade to the baguette and try the Natalia. Mmmm. Seriously. Go try it. Your mouth will thank you.

  • Deborah L.

Best sandwich & deli in town. Greg, the owner is really friendly. I'd recommend you to try everything's that on the menu. Seriously.

  • Jon W.

When I saw this guy pull out a grocery store brand hoagie to roll to make my sandwich I was a bit curious about this place's ratings. But I guess when you have the quality meats and cheese along with massive varieties of vegetables, you could put this sandwich between two pieces of cardboard and I would eat it. I had kalmatta (seriously what other sandwich shop in Corvallis has those?) olives and several kinds of peppers on my sandwich, not something I find everywhere else. Everything tasted really fresh and I was absolutely glad I went. The sandwiches are also priced on par with other local shops. If that wasn't enough, you can buy fresh meat and cheese to take home and make your own sandwich along with tons of other Italian fare.

After reading some of the other reviews for this place I think I had my hopes set a little bit too high, but it was a solid 3-star nonetheless. I swung in here with the family to grab lunch to go for a little picnic at the river nearby. I ordered the Traditional and the wife ordered the daily special, which was a meatball. First thing that I noticed was that all of the lights were off inside the place. It was a very hot day out, which is why I assumed they were off, but it was still a little weird. I ordered and was given the option to "upgrade" my bread to a ciabatta roll. When I saw that the guy had a bag of Costco sandwich rolls in his hands I said yes to the upgrade. Nothing against Costco, but hey, shouldn't you just be SERVING the fresh baked roll to begin with instead of squeezing an extra $0.50 out of me?!? The sandwiches were pretty tasty, although the roll's crust was a little bit too tough; causing the sandwich innards to want to squish out the sides on each bite. Again, not too impressive. We also ordered drinks to go and received a free bag of chips because of that. Upon going for the drinks we found room-temp cans of soda on the counter and were told "Sorry, but we're out of ice." It's 90 frigging degrees out! How refreshing! Again...not impressed. Total came to just about $15 for the two sandwiches; very reasonable for what appeared to be quality meats and cheeses inside. So maybe we just caught them on a hot, not so good day. I'll definitely give them another try to see if my first visit was a fluke because I love to support a local guy who's bringing in quality, specialty ingredients. But as a guy who grew up around truly authentic Italian deli's, this place was pretty far off the mark. I would recommend Natalia & Cristoforo's with some reservation until I can go back for a second round.

  • Jonathan W.

Still the best place in town for a good sandwich. The hoagie from Costco is a little disappointing, but you can upgrade to a baguette for 50 cents or muffleta for a buck. I like the Capicola and Salami better than the Natalia I had this time, the meat seemed more full bodied. Their assortment of veggies is impressive, including everything you could get at subway plus roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, and a muffleta mix that makes me wish I liked olives. Ask for a sample next time, Greg is happy to initiate new members into the cult of muffleta mix. The owner Greg really is a kick though, and his assistant seemed pretty knowledgeable too. In short, go for the fresh Italian meats, wide array of veggies, spring for the better bread for a complete experience.

Definitely some righteous sandwiches right there. Get the Bober (or whatever that thing was called.)

  • Marie G.

The only Italian Deli in town with a scruffy, no bullshit, straight-to-the-point owner making your sandwiches. You've got your meats and your cheeses to take home to your liking and he hands you samples of the ones that sound pretty unique or of ones that you have no idea how to pronounce. This place is a cozy spot. Has a bit of everything from pictures of the owner's family, OSU decor, Italian themed decor, and a small kitchen area. The downstairs houses a seating area that gives you a sense of home while devouring your sandwiches. I do have to subtract a star for the way the sandwiches are made though. For one thing it's nice to see him wash his hands before handling food but usually a latex glove would follow right to ensure your food doesn't get contaminated right? No... it's not done here. I'm a little hesitant since i'm kind of a germaphobe but I still eat here. So hey if my stomach can handle then i'll be alright. The 2 times i have been here there has only been one person behind the counter handling the orders soooo I'm not sure if that has changed but if you're bringing a group of 3+ you're gonna have fun waiting especially when people don't pay attention to what's going on their sandwich. The sandwiches come in a hoagie style or the muffuletta, which is a circular flatter bread used on sandwiches like the Po' Boy. Here's the link to more info on it (and yes it's trusty ol' wikipedia): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mu… The toppings the sandwiches are avail definite throw a party in your mouth every time you bite into the sandwich. You got your pepperoncini's, roasted red peppers, the standard cucumber, romaine lettuce, kalamata olives, and a bunch of toppings to your liking to make the party in your mouth happen! This is not your standard mom and pop deli, this is the good stuff with a little more oomph to it. Try it. Eat it. And hope your mouth enjoys the party!!

I had heard of this little gem before, but had never stopped. We finally went, and I gotta say.. WOW. I ended up going 'safely' with "The Postal" sandwich. Think Subway's Spicy Italian sandwich... Then ramp it up about a dozen notches in taste and quality. This is what you want when you order that sandwich at Subway, but never get. Service was absolutely great. The fellow making our sandwiches (the owner?) ran out of bread and left us there long enough to go pick up more of the muffeleta (I'm not sure of the spelling here) bread from the bakery. It was that fresh! The prices are good. I would put it on par price-wise with quiznos. I think my half-sandwich was about 5 dollars. It was a 1/4 of a roll that was approx. 12" in diameter. NOT a small sandwich at all. I plan on going back as soon as I can. I loved the food, loved the atmosphere, and loved the service.

Pretty solid hole in the wall sandwich place that makes Corvy amazing. My parents first recommended it when they rolled through and decided the Cave Man Dad needed some meat and cheese. Really easy to please him there... I rolled through a couple months later, looking for a light lunch to satisfy my post fro yo actual food craving. The guy was nice enough to open up a few minutes early when he saw me and my friend peeking through the window. Though they do boast about all their meats and cheeses, they have some good veggie selections as well. I loved my sandwich in a container (minus the bread) and my friend couldn't even finish his mufaletta sandwich. It was huge! If you're going to eat there, head down to the wine cellar for some extra ambiance...

Looking for a great lunch? You have to get a sandwich here. They have all authentic Italian meats and cheeses. I used to live in Italy for 12 years, and I've been craving the italian prosciuttos and salami...etc, and was surprised to find it in Corvallis. The staff is always fun to talk to, and really knows what he's doing. I personally like to enjoy the flavor of the meat, so I try not to add too many things in the sandwich. But every so often I add onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and it's still delicious!! They have specials every day, and I think it's on Thursday that they do 50% off sandwiches. I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard that the special meat balls they have on Monday is addicting. Seating is limited, so my husband and I would take it to go and eat it on the grass at OSU. If I had the money, I'd buy pounds of the different meats and cheese too.

A small Italian Deli, with a limited seclection of meant, cheese, wines, pasta, olives, oil and vinegars, and Italian sweets. Their Italian Hoagie sandwiches prepared on a hoagie rolls, excellent quality. The meats are great. You can tell he spent time and thought on the shop decoration... and the owner is friendly. Though, the prices are little bit more expensive compared to other sandwich places in Corvallis.... If you like Italian meats (not regular ham or turkey), I think it is worth going!

  • Jay W.

I hope they open up again soon. Traveled all the way from Seattle to have lunch here, but they were closed due to a fire. Finally got to have a good tasting sandwich here. I really liked the customized, made to order style of sandwich making. Not too many places to sit if you have a large group. Across from the bus terminal.

  • Michael H.

They make the best, most authentic Italian sandwiches around!! Anywhere!!! After living in NYC for a bit, I still wish I had them just down the street. Try them out. They're super friendly and at a great price!! Muffaletta is definitely a good starting point.

  • Jason H.

The best sandwich place in Corvallis, hands down. However i'm not sure why they don't ditch those crappy hoagie rolls they use by default. Upgrade to the baguette or get a muffuletta sandwich instead. The friendly owner makes the experience even more entertaining and the prices help stoke my excitement over the quality. I can't believe this place has been in CV for 9 years and this is the first time i've been there. Definitely going back soon!

Natalia & Cristoforo's is a hidden gem in Corvallis. I've lived here for 15 years and just rediscovered this deli. The Italian cold cuts and cheeses are excellent, and everything tastes very authentic. My only complaint was the hoagie roll used for my Cristoforo sandwich was too small and soft to handle all the filling. A heartier roll would make this sandwich unbeatable! Lots more seating than it appears (dining room in basement) and a great place to try, even if you've lived here forever.

  • Steve M.

I love this place. It's the best place in town to buy Italian cured meats, and the best European cheeses. Greg, the owner, grew up in San Francisco and knew the Molinari family. If you are unfamiliar with the name, they create some of the finest cured Italian meats you can buy. Several of these are available at Natalia & Christoforo's. They also have San Marzano tomatoes, olive tapenade and mortadella for Mufaletta's, excellent olive oils etc. If you are ever in San Francisco you must visit Molinari's deli, it is a life changing experience. Until then, Natalia & Christoforo's can set you up with many of the same mouth watering delicacies. As others have said, they also make the best sandwiches in town.

A taste of North Beach in Corvallis! I was visiting colleges with my teenage daughter and found this place on yelp (5 out of 5 stars- WOW). What a great surprise. I never expected to find such a high end, traditional deli way up North. The place reminded me of home - San Francisco. Since it was "Meatball Monday" I went the special and loved it. The roll was top quality and the meatballs were saucy without being soggy. The staff at Natalia & Cristoforo's is very friendly and I enjoyed the homey decorations. If I lived closer I would be a regular. Try it yourself. It was worth every penny!

  • JP B.

Best deli in town. Hands down. Natalia's & Cristoforo's is my favorite stop in town. Whenever I have guests in town, or looking to have a nice relaxing night, I stop here and pick up crackers, cheeses, and of course meats. I haven't tried the sandwiches yet, but I know people who claim to be some of the best ever. The staff is great, very helpful in selecting the right kinds of cheeses and meats. Let them know what wine you have, what you're eating for dinner, or what taste you're looking for, and they will direct you to the exact cheeses and meats to suit your needs. Every trip ends up a little pricey, but it is more than worth it!

I am remiss in not writing this review much earlier. Best sandwiches in Corvallis... perhaps even the entire mid-Valley. Great meat, cheese, and veggie options. Greg (the owner) is a terrific guy. If you like deli sandwiches, you will not regret visiting N & C's.

Can't believe today was the first day I'd patronized Natalia and Cristoforo's. Been meaning to get there for a couple of years. Now I'm really wishing I had! The atmosphere was that wonderful mix if European and American, mom-and-pops, intimate feel. The service was top notch and added a wonderfully personal flavor. They were even comfortable with having my 3-yr old daughter there looking around. Even let her play with a couple of toy airplanes from the 50's and blow on a trumpet. I split a whole muffuletta salami sandwich with my wife and we had plenty to eat! The menu selection was expansive, the aromas warming, and the flavors authentic. Loved every second of our visit there. We'll be back, probably next week! And they have lunch specials, too, depending on the day of the week! If you haven't yet eaten there, but have been thinking about going, I'd recommend you don't delay! #CorvSMB

They have a great selection of cheese and cold cuts. It was a lot of fun going in and figuring out new things to try. Cristoforo was so helpful, and helped us have a great experience. The second time I went in I decided to get a sandwich. They have unique selections, but I wasn't the biggest fan of mine. There was a lot of bread! Everything else is always great though!

The best sandwhich I have ever had! Thinking about it makes my mouth water. The Natalia is my personal favorite. If you haven't had a sandwhich from N&C's, you haven't lived!

Finally made it here. Can't believe it took me more than half a year to hit up a place that makes good italian sandwiches. Sure, it's more than subway/quiznos/whatever, but the ingredients are of a much higher quality. I hope to get a chance to try the meatballs on Monday.

  • Mike G.

This place is amazing! Some hard-to-find italian meats and cheeses prepared with love by one guy, and sometimes his... daughter? Employee? I'm not sure. Anyway, the sandwiches are great, if a little more pricey than Safeway or Subway. But the quality is worth it, and nothing beats roasted red pepper and cucumber on a soft italian roll. Easily the best sandwiches in town. I have a small qualm with what Marie G. said in her review. Wearing latex gloves does not demonstrably cut down on germ transmission. The National Restaurant Association has stated that frequent hand washing is preferable to gloves for reducing food contamination.

This place is one of those secrets in Corvallis. I didn't stumble upon this deli until I had moved away and then found it during a visit. I wished I had known about it before, but I guess that's what makes it such a hidden gem. They have a wide selection of imported Italian meats and world cheeses. The Finnish Lappi is the best! It's a bit pricey, but the quality is way better than what you can get at any grocery store deli. Their sandwiches are also out of this world. The owner and his family run the place, and they are so friendly. They will let you sample anything in the case. It's a great local business to support.

I go here every time I'm in town. It is one of those perfect little places. Obviously their sandwiches are the deal - and if you can, try and get there before the muffalatta bread sells out. It makes it. The subs are good, but the muffalatte bread is ridiculous - both in deliciousness and size. They put a little olive/giardenera kind of mix on the sandwich which is terrific. Sandwiches range the gamut - including salamis, sopresattas, prosciutto, , mortadella, Speck, Serrano, etc. All the good stuff. Cheeses are all high quality Italian - fresh mozz; mascarpone, along with the usuals. You can buy all meats and cheeses by the pound - it would create a fantastic antipasto selection; if only they were closer to me. :( Great Italian wine selection - and i was told they do tastings on the weekend for like $15? The owner is awesome - highly entertaining dude, and completely runs the show. If he had 3 of him, he could expand and open in Eugene and Portland. We could use a great Italian deli in EUG. C'mon science...where are we with the cloning? :)

The sandwiches are good, but nothing special. I went with several friends and we all ordered different things. We all thought that the meats were nothing different from what you can get at the deli counter at the grocery store. It's definitely good... great food and a nice atmosphere, but nothing special.

Best sandwich shop in town, hands down! I haven't been able to go back to Subway since discovering this place. They have a great menu of sandwiches named after family members. The friendly quirky staff will make your sandwiches for you at a relaxed pace. They have daily deals (Thursday is buy one get one half off, so take a special someone there for lunch!). They also have a good selection of meats and cheeses for fair prices. They have a meat and cheese plate they can set up for you, I often order these for parties.

Had my first N&C's muffuletta today. Outstanding! Heaped with veggies and rich meats and cheeses - this was the best sandwich I have had in years! I will go back again and again.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
