The Good: This is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to in the U.S. Authentic food, reasonable prices, friendly service, and great quality. The Bad: The fish tacos are $3. Steep, but very yummy. Try: the fish tacos. I know I said they're expensive, but they're pretty dang good. My girlfriend always gets the plate (2 fish tacos with rice and beans) whenever we go. Also, ask for grilled jalapeno peppers on the side. Don't Try: the $1.50 tacos. Ask for the $1 tacos: same thing except on a street taco tortilla size.

Good customer service. Great to just chill and drink a coffee and have a slice of pumpkin pie bread....yummy.
My friend and I stopped in to study for an exam on a Monday afternoon. It wasn't too crowded from what I could see. Usually at the starbucks I normally frequent in the Vancouver/Portland area, people would come and stay a while to study making the coffee shop super crowded. We both ordered a green tea frappuccino (half sweetened) and sat at a well lit area next to the window. The drinks were great, and the service was good as well. There was a lot of people ordering coffee and leaving shortly after. Lots of through traffic, which was good for me because I can't study when I hear interesting conversation. As there was no one sitting down long enough, I was able to study for a good few hours. As a grad student, it is a surprisingly good place to study since you aren't surrounded by a bunch of undergrads having loud conversations if you were to study in the school library. The music they played was also very tasteful and appropriate for that coffee shop vibe!
This is one of my favorite Starbucks. The Baristas are ALL so kind and make you feel like you are their favorite customer. They know what your favorite drinks are and if you haven't been for a while, are truly sincere on missing your frequenting their business. Thank you especially today Taylor (girl) for making me feel special :)

I love my Leo's!!! The hubs and I have been going here since we first moved to town 5 years ago and although some of the bartenders have changed, the great service and strong drinks haven't. They love taking care of their regulars but newbies will feel welcome enough to want to come back (that's how they got us to come back)! This is a great dive bar...lots of TVs, pool tables, and a dance floor where they have karaoke and bands regularly. Their pizza is really great too if you get a hankering for some grub. If you want a comfy place to hang close to home (for those of us in Cornelius), I would highly recommend Leo's.
Place to watch a Blazer game with sound. Awesome staff!
Pretty rad neighborhood bar. Good drinks and great service.

Tabb's is a cool little sports bar right in the heart of Cornelius. The owners are KC Cheifs fans, which I'm totally ok with even though its not our team I did enjoy all the KC decor. Although ... we haven't been there durning an actual KC game, so maybe it gets intense! ;) Don't believe the bad reviews, the food was down right delish and the price was right. We went in on "wing Wednesday" which meant .50 (boneless wings) a piece! I wish we would have ordered more because they were SO GOOD... Next time I plan on it. Now let me talk about the amazing sauce, the owners actually have it shipped in straight from KC--YUM!! We also had burgers, which I thought were really really good. We had a chance to meet one of the owners, Tracey and she was seriously a doll! She was so nice and great to chat with and I look forward to coming back in to eat some great food (I wanna try their breakfast), chill in a cool place and watching some college and pro football!!!
My husband and I just moved to the area and decided to give this place a try! We are happy we did, excellent service and food! First off, the girl working was friendly and greeted us right away when we walked in. Clean, upbeat atmosphere.. Would be a fun place to meet friends/family at for a night out. And of course to watch a football game, they have the NFL Sunday ticket if that's your thing. My husband and I ordered burgers, he had the 1/2 lb cheeseburger, I had the bacon swiss & mushroom burger (with tator tots!) Service was fast and food was great! We will definitely be coming back!
Any bad reviews here are disgruntled former employees. This is a great family owned sports bar with great food and games on the big screen!! The owners are super good people. Play a game of pool while you enjoy wings and the game!!

Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant

Reviews:
What the heck... We LOVE the Mazatlan off of TV Hwy, heck we even somewhat like the one off 185th so we musta gone on an off night because almost everything about this place was not so good. It really wasn't too busy but the waiter acted as if he was so put off by us it was ridiculous; we practically needed a flare gun to get his attention... personally I think he was "hangry" (so hungry he was irritable/angry) cause I did see him trying to eat quickly as we were leaving. If that's the case I can get over it; but the food really was nothing to get excited about to counter act...not even a little bit... which is a bummer cause it takes a lot to mess up Americanized Mexincan food in this gals book. hello--I sometimes get (and enjoy) freakin' Taco Bell. Not to mention I got a chicken tostada, how the hell do you mess that up??!Anyways the chips and salsa were my only saving grace so that I didn't leave "hangry"... its still up for debate if we will give this joint another try or wave as we pass by on our way to TB
The food is so spicy (well-seasoned) and full of flavor, delicious and hot from kitchen to your table. They have flavorful fruit smoothies and a full bar, I love their Zombie (see photos). My husband (not a huge Mexican food fan) said their salsa was the best he has ever had and the chips are freshly made and warm. Love their guacamole too. Last night we split the 3 enchilada meal (no extra charge). I had 2 enchiladas and my husband had 1 enchilada and the rice and beans. All of this for just a little over $20. When getting take-out the plates are well wrapped with foil to stay warm until you get home. The atmosphere is great and the staff are always full of smiles. We always go pretty early in the evening so it is quiet and quick, we will continue to return for the food & the service.
So as much as I wanted to find a mexican restaurant that I love, this place is not it! The waitresses are highly unattentive. I have tried this place four times, and the service does no change. Each time, I have to ask for place settings (after the food arrives). They will not give or offer you water, you have to ask for it. Once your drink arrives they will not ask you if you want a refill, unless it is alcohol, then they don't leave you alone. The waitresses prep to-go plates, and table settings in one of the booths while customers are present. Any prep should be done out of sight for the customers, and you should wash your hands before doing it, the waitresses will serve the food to someone and go straight to prep again(not washing). The restaurant is very dirty, and could use a really good deep cleaning, most likely from an outside professional, especially since the staff haven't been cleaning. Also most of the lightbulbs are out, and you see a ton of burned out bulbs, and the flowing streams of cobwebs everywhere. I do have to say though that the food is tasty and hot. If they improved the service, and the cleanliness this could earn them a better rating and my continued repeat service.

It always amazes me when I see a fast food place put employees that don't speak English on the drive through speaker (or at the counter) taking orders. This is one of the very reasons that drive through times at this location are consistently 10+ minutes. If you get your food faster, it's a miracle. They also consistently mess up any order you have, even if there is no special order being made. Order a whopper? You'll most likely end up with a completely different item, like onion rings. The inside of this location is also (consistently) dirty. Food on the floors and all over the tables, garbage cans full, and the soda dispenser is covered in sticky soda. I would highly recommend going somewhere else.
TERRIBLE! Most the employees don't even speak English! They messed up our order in every way! I asked for no ketchup I got extra ketchup! Asked for extra pickle I got NO pickle! The girl at the window barely spoke English! I got 4 fries in my small and old rotted lettuce....
Filthy! dirty tables, food all over the floor.
