We went by for dinner, we've never seen a crowd butt the service is always very good, nice setting, and the food really pretty darn good. Nice portions... My wife had the sunset special which was a really nice the choice meal... Cod was really good.

Loved our experience last night in the lounge. EXCELLENT service, great drinks. Didn't eat, but their food is always delicious.

Monarch Benedict. Cheap Costco purchased muffin not toasted enough, with a pretty bad crab cake on top, followed by a perfectly cooked poached egg. Unfortunately it was not dried before it was put on top making everything soggy, then all topped with what appeared to be a Knorr packaged hollandaise sauce. Staff is awesome and removed it from bill. Thanks

Worst meal experience I've had in a long time. We normally don't eat at our hotel restaurants, but we had incentive to do so. We went all out. We had coconut chicken for an appetizer. My friend ordered clam chowder and seafood pasta. I ordered beef barley soup and a medium flat iron steak dinner. My friend said the chowder tasted as if it was from a can or bag and there wasn't anything extra special about her pasta. My beef barley soup had zero flavor even with added salt. My flat iron was ordered medium (hot pink), it was cooked very well done, the garlic mash should have been called potato puree (and had a god awful old frozen flavor), and the only thing edible on my plate was the steamed asparagus. My friend thought the coconut chicken was good but had too much breading. Our server was seen very few times. I completely understand why there was only one other table the entire time we were there.

Sunday Champagne Brunch- Light & bright with a nice view of the pool below (one Sunday they had a local church doing baptisms in the pool). First off order the Champagne. It's a bargain and great tasting to boot! The more you drink the less it costs per glass. HA! Now for the food: Does it have the most selections for a buffet brunch? No it doesn't Is the food the highest quality? Some of it yes-some no But here's the deal-Focus on the food selections that are high quality and prepared to perfection. The thick cut bacon, fresh pineapple, and omelets cooked to order alone are worth it. The cold salmon, waffles piping hot & drenched with butter (YUM) I consider a bonus. Add a few key deserts with fresh strawberries on the side and your tummy will be more than satisfied and your wallet will be happy too. Eat a giant cookie while your at it Yum Yum Yum! Ask for a window seat

The fam headed here for their Sunday brunch and I've got to say that we were all impressed with the light atmosphere of the place. We were also pleasantly surprised with the quality and variety of food. They had an omlette bar, which was a neat surprise. Salmon, Eggs Benedict, crepes, and plenty of french toast & waffles to keep the kids happy. If you think you might check this place out, be sure to visit their online site (easy to navigate to from the Monarch website) for a coupon. Wished we had been able to print off one this weekend as it would have saved us $14 on brunch.

This is for breakfast. Efficient service and all three of us enjoyed the fare -- good stuff but, nothing out of this world. We opted for menu versus brunch on this Sunday (not up to that much food!), but the brunchers all looked happy. My Huevos Rancheros could have used a little more kick, but a minor point.

Rude hostess. Yes we do have a dam reservation and we know we're a little early. If it wasn't Easter and every where else is booked, we would have left. Don't think we'll be back anytime soon unless the hostess is fired.

Went for Sunday Brunch. Pretty standard fare but enjoyable. Enough selection for a family with varied tastes and diets. The boring, store-bought desserts were the only disappointment. Table service was excellent - very friendly and attentive. Was having pleasant time until we tried to use a coupon and found out that we had not brought what was required. Management was completely and frustratingly inflexible to our situation - almost making us feel stupid for not understanding their unpublished terms of use & rigid internal processes. Not a great way to end the meal and definitely soured what would have been a nice experience.
