I'm here drinking coffee and eating a great hot breakfast (made to order) on a Sunday after church. Comfortable atmosphere with light music in the background. Great staff that greets regulars by name. They also have a tea room with tea pots from all over. It's nice not to have to travel to Portland to find this niche spot.

I've always drove past this place so I decided to stop in for a drink. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. The coffee tastes good and the place is very trendy. There is a Starbucks across the street but I will definitely be stopping here instead.

We love this lovely coffee spot. Lots of snack choices including some gluten free favorites and bread.

Love this coffee house, not only is it locally owned and very cozy, they offer GREAT gluten free selections. Not just food that is already gluten free, but real food make gluten free, like breakfast sandwich's ,deserts, etc. I went there for a mothers day brunch and had a gluten free eggs benedict with hash browns and tea, very nice! They just recently started serving full hot breakfast, it used to be just pastries and drinks. They have a back room that is a little private but has lots of seating, perfect for meetings or to reserve for a girls afternoon, baby shower, birthday, just excellent. I recommend to anyone gluten free for sure, but really anyone.

Great coffee, beautiful place & wonderful staff. Seriously love coming here. One of my new favorite coffee shops. Not only does the place look great but the coffee tastes amazing. Come one & come all! :)

Decent breakfast sandwiches. I enjoyed a bagel one with sausage. This place is on the pricier side but is independently owned and has free wifi and a comfy back room if you need to get work done. The coffee was mediocre, in Portland you need good coffee. Not sure if it was the beans or method but it tasted either like not fresh beans or burnt. Could have been the barista. Friendly warm service.

Even though Elka Bees calls itself a coffee house, they are much more. It's an oasis, with friendly employees greeting you as you walk in and courteously preparing your beverage and delicious food. Christine and her crew do a great job of showing their appreciation that you came in and deliver their goodness with a smile. They also put on parties, tea socials, and so much more. You have to patronize Elka Bees, you'll be glad you did.

Fine place for coffee and get on the network. Good bakery items. Condsidering the paucity of sit down cafes east of 205 this is rather nice. Haven't tried the breakfast but it looks like they are going full bore to produce something good.

I was a little confused when the (owner??) made a mistake on my bill and forgot to charge me for my coffee...She stated "WELL, I'll just charge you more the next time you're in!!????!!" and SHE DID!!! How is that my fault???? AND why should I have to pay for her mistake weeks later??? You make a huge profit on your drinks...Charging me $3.00 for a cup of coffee is hard to swallow to begin with...but I liked your place and wanted to patronize you business...However, Your Customer-Service is seriously lacking and I am so offended that I may consider never going back!!!

Service has been good most of the time. Twice was spotty at the counter and twice exceptional. Overall, we really like it here. The food is excellent and we can relax after our Saturday morning workout. The NW scramble is a favorite.

Super cute place! Great service! Amazing food! Pastries are to die for! Seriously! This place is like ur grandmothers kitchen! So good! And coffee is amazing as well. Come here every Thursday! It's become a tradition!

Cozy little coffee shop, friendly workers and some tasty food:) definitely will come back

Great decor and atmosphere, food is above average. I really like the place, but the speed of service is frequently slow and my blended coffees have been inconsistent... Not meant as a complaint, just constructive criticism.

Literally walking in brought an immediate smile to my face. Gorgeous decor, warm smiles, and an incredible aroma of fresh coffee mixed with savory food. So far everything my friends and I have tried have been phenomenal! I highly suggest trying their honey latte (20oz comes with 4 shots of espresso!!!) along side their vegetable quiche. It literally melted in my mouth it was so good! Went back for Lunch today and loved the fact that they let you pick your own tea bags for them to make freshly iced tea for you! I ended up with the caprese panini and it was the best I ever had! Lol I'm a traveler and don't live here but I signed up for their rewards program simply because I KNEW I would be back before our trip was over. Haha I highly suggest you do the same because you are going to be HOOKED and might as well enjoy a few extra perks along the way! The owner is a total sweetheart and it is clear that they are here to stay for a very long time so check it out before it starts having lines out the door! (Yes it is THAT good and coming from LA where coffee shops are dime a dozen this should emphasize how happy my taste buds truly are. Open a shop in SoCal!!! I'll personally keep your doors open down there haha

The coffee and food were good- but really pricy and so slow. This was my second attempt to like elkabees. They gave my coffee to someone else, didn't remake mine for free, just had to wait even longer. Then our food came out at completely different times. People were done eating and ready to leave when our last two plates came out. If you asked questions about menu items, they had no idea. I was also a little taken aback by the lack of dress code for the two younger servers. Booty shorts and your purple bra hanging out? No thanks. Really nice people- just seems like nobody was trained or had experience working in a cafe- just seem to be winging it.

Discovered this place after looking for a cozy coffee shop in the Clackamas Happy Valley area. This is definitely the place! Extremely friendly service, very comfortable seating, just an overall nice atmosphere without the corporate feel of other unnamed places. I will definitely be back!

I recently interviewed and will likely accept a job that is within walking distance to this shop. The day of my interview i was early so I decided to get some coffee. I came across this place and loved it. So cute and well put together. Friendly staff and best of all the coffee was so good !! I have worked at Starbucks and another coffee shop and I can tell how fresh their shots and grinds are and I really appreciate how well mixed and yummy it was!! I have found my new job coffee shop :)

Small hole in the wall place, didn't expect much going in, but the coffee & food quality was outstanding! Definitely going to make it my new routine coming here!

  • Nio S.

Great staff and coffee! Highly recommended. The area only has Starbucks and peets around so it's nice to find a nice cozy coffee shop to enjoy sometime

Such a beautiful and cozy place! Been open only for two months, absolutely love it. A fm great place to come study and enjoy a coffee and a breakfast sandwich!

  • Anhelina F.

This place is cute but the coffee and food were nothing special. I paid $8.95 for a dry tasteless panini sandwich. Most likely will not be going back here.

My WIFI was down one day, so I parked myself in the back room for a couple hours. They don't play their music obnoxiously loud so I could even take a conference call. And no, I didn't talk loud and bug everyone else :) The staff was helpful and friendly. Fantastic soup in a bread bowl. Chai latte out of this world. They always have free samples. I much prefer them to the corporate coffee that is Starbucks!

  • Jeri L.

The mocha I had reminded me of the ones I had in Paris the chocolate was top notch. The decor is beautiful and offers a true relaxing place to have coffee and relax for a bit. They do offer free wifi parking is a bit tricky most of the spots are specified for 15 minutes or chase bank. I was there in the around noon and they do close at two so the the pastry display wasn't to impressive. I'll have to go in the morning and see if it's better.

There's a new display at Elkabee's! Check out the papercrafting shelf for May Baskets or Tea Cups, complete with chocolate kisses. Or, select a coffee mug, suitable for adding a biscotti as a small gift. Greeting cards are also available.

Came here today, good coffee and very comfortable atmosphere. Great service, fast Wi-Fi and a perfect place to start your day if you want to explore the beautiful Mt. Talbert park

Their honey buns drip coffee is yummy and my new favorite chai, brown sugar and cinnamon chai with soy is to die for. It's warm and welcoming inside. Reminds me of the holidays and going to my grandma's house. This spot has been many coffee spots, but this one so far is my favorite. :)

Take a trip under a minute off the 205 in Happy Valley near the Clackamas town center to experience a sweet place to relax, be greeted by an upbeat barista who gets your order perfect, grab an English pastry or some other yummy treats. Owner Christine Richards has even created an English Tea room perfect for meetings for your group.

  • Caitlin L.

This place is adorable! Much better improvement from the previous Coffee's On. I loved the decor and style of the place! The staff is friendly and helpful and there is plenty of room to sit as well as more private corners for closer conversations. You have the options of having your coffee in a mug if you plan on staying in, which is nice. Had a nice time catching up with friends there and it was the perfect spot to do that! The coffee was good- not the best I've ever had, but not the worst. Will be back again!

  • Amanda M.

Really like their coffee and atmosphere. My only hope is that the service could speed up a bit. I tend to have to wait for quite awhile to pay for a drip coffee because only one person is there and they're doing the register and coffee drinks/food. Besides that, wonderful place to go that's not a Starbucks and they are always very friendly!

AMAZING NEW COFFEE PLACE! This is officially my new "go-to" coffee place. The new owners have done an incredible job with the comfort, decorations and customer service at this new shop. Tons of really comfortable places to sit, including bar tables and couches. There's a little fireplace in one corner and a little gift shop area. The coffee was so good and the pastry and food options were more extensive than you typically see in a smaller shop. The quality of the food was great. I can't wait to go back to try more of their food options, soak in the awesome atmosphere and spend time in my new local community coffee shop! Way to go guys - I'm a FAN!

This is a great coffee shop with an awesome atmosphere. I have been coming here almost religiously for my morning 16oz iced mocha. The staff are always very nice and friendly, not to mention they will go out of their way no matter what to make you happy......you won't find that type of customer service at starbucks!!!! Not to mention you can taste the love that is stirred in with the milk.

Great little coffee shop - very boutique and welcoming. Everytime I've been in, the barista always strikes up a conversation with me. Good coffee, they have a ton of sugar free syrup options which is great!

Very nice baristas, great Longbottom coffee and modern atmosphere. The new owners expanded inside - much more room to find a table to work at or hang out.

Worst coffee/Italian sodas I've ever had! This is my first yelp/review I'm not one to particularly complain about a place but wow I was shocked at the horrible customer service and drinks I've gotten every time I've come here:( I've gone here a few times trying to like this place since the atmosphere of the shop is beautiful but the drinks and baristas don't match up! I ordered two large peach Italian sodas today which I had to remind the barista to add the peach flavor. didn't want just club soda! :( then when I went to drink my drink they both tasted off:/ went back in and asked nicely if they'd be able to remake my drink. Keep in mind I was the only customer in the store and the barista gave me a dirty look and told me he'd get to it and walked in the back! Whaaat?!!! Very surprised with this behavior as I've been a barista for several years and id never treat any customer this way. Shocked!!!!! I won't be a return customer.

  • Heath S.

The cutest, smartest barista in Happy Valley hands down! I love the coffee but think the Italian sodas are a bit over priced at over $3 (with kids this is usually my go to but not here). Lots of seating, great decor, and free WiFi. I like that its a small local owned establishment, go little guy!

bit of a surprise. Was expecting Coffee's On but Elkabee is in their spot now. Atmosphere was great French/English decor which I loved. So far I've just had coffee and it was good. Customer service was great. The coffee is not acidic but smooth a rarity in the US. Plan to be back and experience more things. Seems like there was free wifi saw folks on various devices. Good location. I dont think it's a chain store hope they do great

We visited here for the first time a week ago and we will be back for sure. What a cute little coffee shop! I ordered the buttered toffee latte and the hubby stuck with vanilla. They were even really cool when we asked for some almond milk for our little one. And bonus, it was organic! This place isn't far from us and I plan on walking here when I feel like splurging on coffee:)

I have one word: Whoa. I was overwhelmed by the amount of decorations. I felt like I was in an antique store. I know that they are a new coffee shop, so I will try them again, but my experience the first time was not great. It took 15 minutes to get two coffee drinks, and there were only three people in front of me. The cashier didn't know what a "scone" was, nor how much the mysterious pastry cost. I wait....and then I wait more. The drinks were fine, but not great, and a little high in price.

Disappointing. ...my Carmel mocha was horrible ...bagel was hard...cashier girl was not very friendly...Batista boy was though....super super cute place...has potential but not worth my money
