Fantastic bread & sandwiches. Laid back atmosphere. Always friendly. Wonderful about community support.
Easily 5 stars for the pastries, coffee, and service. Food: 5 stars Coffee: 4 stars Service: 5 stars Setting: 4 stars Location adjustment: +1 star Obviously not a whole lot of options in this little country town. But rest assured, you've got a good option for food and the like at Randy's I came here with a huge group and they were so very nice and accommodating. Everyone loved their food - especially me! I had their blackberry coffee cake and WOW. Insanely good. Most in the middle, a little crusty on top. The berries were picked locally and preserved while fresh. All their ingredients are mindfully picked and produce amazing results. Be sure to pay small businesses in cash!
I was informed that the biscuits are from Bisquick. :/ Whatever... they still taste better than any others I've tried around here. (I did buy a box of Bisquick, and low & behold, they did come out like Randy's.)

Great food, friendly staff and very clean outside patio. I would definitely come back .
Good crew. Good food. Don't come to a small town and expect portlandia experiences. These folks are amazing, local, and the epitome of what's right in the world. I suggest their steaks and soups.
We went in there the other night around 6:00pm. Took about 20 minutes to get our drinks and another 15 to get our order. Once we ordered we knew there would be a wait we were okay with that. 2 HOURS later we still had no food. We finally asked to speak to a manager and the owner came out and made a scene because we told her we've been waiting for a really long time. Very unprofessional! She then went and got her husband which told us "if you don't want to wait then you can leave" which we did. The only good thing about the evening was they offered to pay for our drinks. We went down to the Brownsville tavern to have dinner since we were told several times our food was ready, we never did see it. Bad experience all around which is too bad it has potential. My friends and I will never be back.

This is hard for a small town girl to trash a small town watering hole, but the service we received last night was far from a pleasurable experience. Our experience here in the past has been fair, the food is always hot, tasty and large portions. The drinks always cold. The wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable. This building is pretty run down. At about 11:00 the bar had cleared out from a busy evening and a full house from an out of town comedian that had been the headliner. Our table was a party of 6, two had left for the evening and the four of us then started to play pool. We placed a food order to go and finished our next game. At this time, the customers in the bar dwindled down to just a handful. The waitress/bartender had stepped out for a smoke. As we waited near the bar counter for the food, a member of our party (a regular at the bar) walked up past the counter (area with no barrier) and was showing my husband (not a regular) all the different types of bottled beer in the cooler. This began our negative encounter and was due to a very grumpy cook. She started dropping F Bombs, telling the regular he needed to get the F*** away and proceeded on her tyrant for a few minutes. A simple request would have solved the problem. Instead she continued to disrespect us. We then canceled the food order, telling her not to bother finishing our order. At this time, the bartender reentered the establishment and we asked for our bill, not including our food order, and continued to explain the situation to her and why we canceled the food order. For such a small town and knowing how important word of mouth is, I'd be treating every customer as a vital part of my business.
I always make my friend Rick take me to this place when I am in Oregon. The Heart Attack Burger is one of the best burgers I have had ANYWHERE!
This review is for brunch/breakfast. I stopped in here because it was the only place open in Brownsville, and damn did I feel lucky when I left. There was a gentleman playing some great guitar music, the special of the day was some good french toast with lemon and some crazy berry compote I had never heard of. My girl and I shared the french toast and this tasty but healthy hash with a couple eggs on top. They also had this really great banana bread that they served with butter on top which sounds questionable but was delicious. Definitely a good breakfast place that should be a go-to place for those in the area.

With our favorite Mexican Food restaurant closing over a year ago, we have been eating at different Mexican restaurants often recommended by friends. No one has mentioned Armondo's and we just decided to try it. We had a wonderful meal there and it's our current Mexican food restaurant. The food is delicious and good service. Prices average for the dinner we ordered. What a pleasant surprise to find this place. Dan & Bev Harrisburg, Oregon
Yummy! I got the super nachos with steak. Te steak could have been larger strips rather then tiny and over cooked.
Common you guys, you can do better than this. If it is true that Jalisco's in Eugene is a relation, you better go there and learn a few things about tamale making. The tamales suck big dog! The taco arrived soaked in the sauce they spill onto everything and it felt like someone in the kitchen must be taking food out of a bag and microwaving it. Come on...Brownsville is a small town. If you don"t get it together soon, you will be closing and then what? Investment down the tubes. Oh, by the way. Put some tequila in that peach margarita, will ya? I told the waiter and he said, just write a note on the back of the tab. I did. Won't be back. But, hope this review makes it to the owners.
