We are definite regulars here. Asian Chicken Salads are our downfall. Have them at least once a week TO GO. They know us as soon as we walk in the door. Kinda scary. My wife and I both like "double chicken" but my wife prefers to have no green onion mix on her salad. I have it all. Big surprise for those that know me. The salads themselves are quite simple. Shredded iceberg lettuce (I know....no nutritional value) topped with slivers of carrots, cabbage, and green onion mix (which has cilantro in it) a dash of sesame seeds, "double chicken" and a handful of crispy wontons. Extra dressing on the side and we are on our way. We go home, mix it all up and enjoy. Our favorite part of the salads are those yummy crispy wontons. MMMM. Togos has really good sandwiches. As I've said in previous reviews, it's hard to resist that hot #9. But the Italian is another fave. I like it "wet" with lots of oil and vinegar. However, of late, we are definitely on the Asian Chicken Salad kick. Tried the southwest salad for a change of pace, but was kinda disappointed. Didn't have much flavor, at least in my humble opinion. Quickly went back to my favorite, which I hear is good in a wrap but have never tried it. That dressing for the Asian Chicken Salad has lots of zing. I like that. Too hot for my daughter though. She complains it's too spicy. When we all mix up our salads at home, it's funny to compare the tint of the dressing on each....dark (me), light, (my wife) and barely there (my daughter). To each their own.

Great food, great atmosphere. Just don't ever use the restroom here, or else Derek will throw your food away while you're in the facility. Had my two little boys with me, so I decided to leave our coats on the chair so nobody would think we just left. To his credit, Derek remade our sandwiches, but then we had to wait another twenty minutes for the food to cool down AGAIN before we could finish what was up to that point, just a half-eaten meal.

Over the last year this Togos has raised prices and become skimpy on the portions, pastrami is now $7.50 for a so called 6 in sandwhich . I am giving all my business to the local sub shops that are not a franchise, they know how make a sandwhich that is a value not a rip-off.

I was at the highway 97 location a few days ago and went to this one with my friend whom i'm staying with while I'm on vacation here in Bend. The sandwich was just as good as a few days ago. Even wrote a review for that location. i'm only writing a review for this one due to the somewhat slow service I got. The girl behind the counter must have been new. She took her time of making my sandwhich and going back and forth between other orders. Not sure if its a togo's policy for the employees to do that as there are plenty of employees to go down the line. Plus there was a line forming behind me. I paid and got the combo and had to ask for napkins and my drink cup. those should automatically come on the tray you shouldn't need to ask for them. Like I said, she was likly new so i'll cut her some slack, but Togos should really embrace the "working as a team" deal. If theres a line. Have one person assemble the sandwhich while the next one toasts/puts on the veggies and rings them up. Maybe if its super busy have one person working the register. instead of going back and forth and have to ask eachother what sandwhich is what. Trust me, things will go a lot smoother. Custmorers and your employees will like you even more.

The latest competitor to Subway. They haven't been open long. There were 6 employees working behind the counter, which makes the line go quickly. I ordered the lemon pepper tuna salad sandwich on sourdough. You can customize your toppings like the other place, with just a few less selections. The sandwich was tasty. My only complaint is the kid who made my sandwich was complaining to the other employee next to him aboutM his hours, and that it was his last day. Well, I probably wouldn't schedule you either with that attitude.

No one should be allowed to review Togo's without first having had a #9. Otherwise, it would be like reviewing a Ruth's Chris after eating their chicken. I have been eating Togo's trademark hot pastrami for probably more than 30 years, dating back to Santa Cruz. No one does pastrami like Togo's. They make a mean meatball, too. Comparing Togo's to Subway is a joke. Totally different restaurants. I would give Togo's a 10 for just the #9 (Hot Pastrami) alone, but knocked them down a touch for more ho-hum service in my latest visits to this new store on the east side of Bend. But who cares, it's a sandwich joint that is better as take-out. But I encourage you to go there, have the #9, first, then try other stuff.

Ordered a large pastrami this morning for lunch. Very large portions... Staff was friendly and attentive. Pastrami was chopped a little too much, which made the sandwich fall apart as I took my bites. All in all a great place to stop for a Sammy

Went in the day before 4th of July. The bread was stale and the meat cold. I was very disappointed. Togos used to be my sandwich place of choice...it will be awhile before I have the nerve to try it again.

As a California girl Togo's has been part of my life since I was in junior high. My girls and I were so happy when Togo's opened in Bend! Delicious meats, fresh bread, generous toppings, yummy salads, and great soups. I do miss a few things that they don't have on the menu up here, though it doesn't stop us from visiting one of the two locations in Bend every week. Personal favorites include; BBQ Beef with mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, and peppers; Asian Chicken Salad; Southwest Wrap; and the classic Turkey and Avocado.

Went to Togo's for dinner tonight around 7:00 PM. It was my first time in a Togo's. I ordered the Clubhouse with Provolone on Parmesan bread and it was *really* good. I love how they press the sandwiches. The girl making my sandwich was super friendly and helpful, too, since I was torn between what bread to get and she helped by describing what they were like. Both the girls working the counter were extremely friendly and chatted with me while they made my sandwich. I think the manager or owner was there, too, and he was also super nice. The sandwiches are definitely better than Subway and at least as good as, if not better than, Quizno's (I'm a fan of Quizno's, though). I don't know that they are as good as my absolute favorite, New York City Subs, but that one is pretty hard to beat! But they *are* at a better location and have better house than NYC Subs in Bend and the customer service/friendliness is enough to make me want to go back again.

Loved me some Togos when I lived in CA during college. Was super excited when Togo's opened here in Bend. We've been twice and had a mixed bag. Our first visit was good - food was good, employees were friendly. Our second visit - no so great. Food was good, but it was 8:45 and they close at 9:00. I think everyone was ready to go home. They asked the "For here or to go" question and I asked what time they closed and asked for it "to-go." One of the employees said thank you for that, which I thought was nice. We added chips and a drink to both sandwiches we ordered. Went over to get a lemonade - all syrup. The gal working gave me a new cup, but didn't try to fix the machine. Went for fruit punch instead - all syrup. Got another new cup and just filled it with water. There was no offer to refund the price of the drink, which kind of irked me. While we were getting our drinks, they actually turned off the lights in the restaurant. Really? I get the impression that the owner has a couple of other franchises in the valley and that's where he's spending his time. I think he needs to spend a little more time at his Bend store, especially while it's new, training the employees. Simple little customer service things go a LONG way in my book. Bottom line - great food, hit or miss service.

Wouldn't go out of my way for it but the food is okay. Always so busy so when I do go I end up leaving since I only have a 30 minute lunch break.

We go here all the time. Fast, friendly service. Modified item? No problem. If you need calories, the #9 pastrami is sooo delicious. We go for the Santa Fe Chicken salad, also delicious. Everything I've ever had here tasted great, so take a break from Subway and learn the love of Togos.

Togo's has the best subs in town! They can handle large orders, and always get your order correct. The employees are friendly and professional. I recommend Togo's as your new sandwich stop!

I have loved Togo's since the 1980's in California and was so happy when they opened here in Bend. I love it still, but it's slipping a bit. More than half the time when I add cheese to a sandwich, it is forgotten. Once, they forgot the meat!! Last Friday, I ordered a pastrami, add swiss cheese, Again, no cheese and the pastrami was so dry and chewy, and the bread was leaning to stale. I was so disappointed. The salads are always spot on and great! I will still keep going back though, hoping it gets great again.
