Can I just say How Wonderful This Place Is? I've been a frequent customer of Incredible John's for about the last 6 months now, and it has been spectacular service every-time. The food, for a buffet style restaurant, is good. Nice Variety Salad Bar. Good Child-Sized Portions of Pizza with a staggering variety, available upon request. Drink options ranging from Icee's, Tea, Soda, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, and even a Bar for the Adults. Dessert Bar too, though not quite as expansive, just the basics. The Dinning Room options are Top Notch. Two Rooms devoted to Children's entertainment depending on age with non stop Cartoon Entertainment, a room for the Music Lovers, Sports Fans, and the Log Cabin Room, for those like myself, who enjoy relative Quiet. The Arcade is Fabulous and appeals to a wide range of ages. They even have a section for the tiny tots to enjoy. And the games aren't to cheesy either. In the end, it's all about the tickets. The staff is Beyond Friendly and it's all encompassed in a Safe Kid-Friendly Atmosphere. For a Buffet it is by far the Cleanest establishment I have ever visited. Which is Impressive. During Weekdays this place is basically empty. It's like a secret Food-Mansion that you get to keep to yourself. As for Price concerns, join the Incredible John's VIP Club, it's like $5 bucks for a year long membership and they send you Coupons through your email. It is so very worth it.

I've been here twice. The first time the food was good. The second time I found a worm in my salad and a second in their potatoes. I wasn't even offered a refund, I had to demand one. The manager and staff were not helpful at all and treated the situation like they didn't care. I could tell that they just wanted me to leave by the fact that they were rushing me and by the look on their faces. I tried to do the survey that is attached to the receipt but the system won't allow me to since "it's not eligible for a survey opportunity due to a void." If you're going to eat here make sure to check your food before eating!

I've been here twice with my family. It's actually pretty expensive for each person for what you get with your money... The food is okay, but the game area is really fun for all ages. I love all the areas they have for families to sit down together! They all have their own theme and it definitely adds to the overall experience. I wish they would lower their prices a little bit and I would bring my family here more often, but still, I do like this place! A lot to do and see.

Crappy pizza and buffet. Employees who look like they want to kill themselves. Dirty tables, floors, and restrooms. Sign me up. I'm not saying don't go there, but be warned, it's half a step above chuck e cheese, probably because you have to pay more to get in.

  • David S.

Food was Ok, but the price was a bit too high to me. Did not indicate that fun cards are not refundable which did not let me get my refund... I don't know if I'll be back.

I had my daughter's eighth birthday party here on Sunday the online booking process was easy you knew what you were paying for upfront. When we got there the room wasn't ready which wasn't a big issue but they kept stressing the fact that we had to be out of the room at our hour and 45 Mark!!! technically the kids didn't need that much time they were ready to go after 40 minutes. It was nice that there's a party host that bus the tables and also play games with the kids and make balloons. The check out for the bill was easy and accurate and priced cheaper than most parties for 12 kids it was $215 including 2 adults the fun cards lasted for about an hour I got 75 token credits things went really smoothly I would definitely do a party here again

We came an hour before closing so we didn't get to enjoy it for as much as we would have liked, but in only an hour we had so much fun! This place is exactly what it says: incredible!! So many cool games and a great variety for all ages. They spent a lot of $$$ on the good, large, and new game machines. Plus there are actual rides in this gigantic place! Food was good, and they have 5 different eating areas that each have a different theme. SO COOL. The game prices are also very reasonable as well as their buffet prices. (You have to buy buffet in order to play the games). Their staff were all very friendly and helpful too..We will be back!! (And we will eat in every awesome room they have.

This is a wonderful place! The buffet were freshly baked! Before John's Incredible Pizza Co. exist, this used to be CIRCUIT CITY and yeah! CIRCUIT CITY is my favorite store at all! But they are closed for good :( We used to have CIRCUIT CITY in Salem and they moved to Keizer Station and then circuit city closed down in January 16, 2009! Today the old circuit city in Keizer Station is REI (Recreational Equipment Inc.) The old one in Salem is Willamette Family Medical Center! So I miss CIRCUIT CITY! R.I.P CIRCUIT CITY. We won't forgot CC!

***Disappointed**** Regardless, everyone must pay to enter even if your NOT interested in eating their food. .. Can't even go in just to play games! !! That's why we went to"Big Al's" and had a great I'll time :) family of 4 at Johns, easy $90

The good: Chuck-E-Cheese on steroids, without the mouse. Cool indoor rides. Buffet includes pizza, salad, noodles, bread sticks, ice cream. Cool mini eating rooms with Disney shows The bad: In order to play games, you must pay to eat. Once you receive your gaming card, make sure to use it while you are there. Once you leave, and there are still credits on the game card, then return for another round of gaming, you must purchase a meal again in order to use the card (booo!). Pricey

I was invited here for my neighbor's' kid birthday party, and after hearing so much about this place I was really expecting great things and great food and an amazing buffet. It was kind of a big disappointment though. First of all the room assigned to us was way too small, we try to explain and asked if they could move to a larger room but they were not helpful at all, their customer service is really bad, no skills, very unfriendly and passive. Food quality is...ok,..the big buffet pretty much consists only of pizza and salad, and the pizza is less than average and not very tasty. There are also lots of hidden costs, it is easy to spend lots of money that you had not planned to, I am not sure I would want to go back here, even if the kids liked the decor and thought it was fun

We just had our baby shower here on Easter Sunday and we had a blast. Everyone had a grand ole time. we had a few children there but the adults were all trying to win as much tickets as possible so we can get those prizes. LOL! We are so glad that we had our baby shower here, it sure beats having it at a home were your confined to only the home and only can do the typical baby shower games, where your here and you have food, drink, yes you can play those typical baby shower games but you also have those ticket type amusement park games. Come on, everyone loves those games, it takes you back. The room attendants were very polite and helpful with all our needs. I highly recommend this establishment for birthday parties and baby showers. all i can say is... pepperoni peanut butter pizza!

What a great find in Beaverton! There's an awesome laser maze, bumper car ride, the Air-Incredibear ride, and Twister, plus lots of great arcade games. The place is spacious and not too dark or loud, very calm for an arcade! The workers are all sweet and friendly, and there's almost no wait for anything, even on a school holiday weekday. We came with a seven and twelve year old, and they both loved it. Food is pretty good too - Great pizza variety, Chicken Alfred pizza, Nacho pizza, salad bar, good chili and baked potatoes! Beside the buffet area are five different seating rooms, from Toon Theater (cartoons on TV), Cabin Fever (country style dining room, no TV), Fusion (Music TV), Funology (Disney channel shows on TV), Hall of Fame (sports). We can't wait to come back again.

I really wasn't that impressed with The overall place. I thought it was very expensive there was a lot of choices in the buffet but I thought it was all just mediocre food. We booked a birthday party for 11-year-old maybe that's why it seemed so expensive but we've been at other places and done the same Most of the kids are under 11 and ate very little so it just seemed very pricey for what they got. We all just expected much more.

Lets just start off by saying EXPENSIVE, EXPENSIVE AND EXPENSIVE. New to the area and we had just went out to dinner and wanted to check this place out so the kids could enjoy some fun games. To our surprise when we found out that they have an admission charge regardless if you want to eat or not. LAME! They should use some type of system being wrist bands or something for the people that want to partake in buffet style eating. We spoke with one of the managers and asked if she could make a one time consideration for us to just buy a fun card because we had no intentions of eating. She inquired on how much we were willing to spend?? She made a suggestion to buy the family pack for $100.00 and that we all would be able to play. We weren't planning on spending that much and when we told her not tonight she was rude and said well she has go by corporate policy and has to charge the admission price for all of us. This is with two young children (six and eight years old) listening to every word and watching every move with anticipation that they were going to be playing soon. VERY DISAPPOINTING but we communicated with our kids and off the BIG AL'S we went! Kids had a blast at BIG AL'S for half the price of this lame place. I will never bring my kids back to the place. STAFF needs to be trained on how to deal with children. Many reviews prior to mine explain it all!

Came here for my baby shower party and it turned out great! We reserved two rooms n we had two hosts n the two ladies were so sweet n nice n took care of us! We had about 20 people n it really went well! We had the room Reserved for 1hr45min but we were still opening presents n they told us we could have an extra 10min so that was very nice of them n we were able to wrap up everything in that time. The food was good, not the greatest ever but I liked it n so did everyone go else. I tried the peanut butter pizza and it was surprisingly very delicious! Lol we spent a total for 7 hrs here!! Eating enjoying having fun Goin on rides n playing games. My entire family didn't wanna leave n we stayed till close. We were able to go back n eat again which was nice. Everyone had a great time! I would definitely come back again for a party or just for fun! My baby shower turned out Better than expected!:) thank you!

This is a review for the arcade. The Dance Dance Revolution X2 machine is the only reason I went to this place. Obviously in order to enjoy the game the volume needs to be loud enough to hear the music. Instead only the high notes can be heard. The game isn't putting out any bass and is being drowned out by other unnecessarily loud machines (they aren't music games). Also, to add insult to injury the entire arcade is blanketed with club style hip hop music that is way too loud. I bought one of their adult card deals to use in that machine but sadly I probably won't be back because the machine isn't audible. It's a shame because it is probably the nicest DDR machine in the Portland area. The staff "tried" to be helpful but didn't actually do anything but talk about getting approval from their corporate office. Nonsense to me. Arcades in America just aren't fun anymore.

We go a few times a month, just for the atmosphere. It may sound weird, but a group of our friends has made it a destination. It is definitely not about good food. While the offerings are plentiful, they are mediocre at best. But, i think it lets us act like kids again. On a side note, do not go on a Saturday night. It was beyond chaotic and just kind of stressful due to parents not watching their children.

Love it so much fun!!! Love the rids games food and like to get so sick of slushy's but I like that I can roam around rooms in the buffet area with my friend and hang out

John's Incredible Pizza, can I have a quick word with you? I think we need to go over the proper use of the adjective "incredible". That green hulking beast that Dr. Banner turns into whenever somebody pees in his Cheerios? Pretty damn Incredible. That early 80's television show staring Fran Tarkenton, John Davidson and Cathy Lee Crosby that featured guests doing things so incredible they were forced to augment the footage with "Do Not Try This Yourself"? Well, That's Incredible! And what would you call an animated family of Pixar born superhero's? Yep, they would be The Incredibles. But the all you can eat pizza being offered at your over the top, upscale Chucky Cheese, birth control inducing establishment? Not incredible. Not amazing. Not even good. In fact, the only thing incredible about eating your pizza is the fact that I managed to avoid spending the entire day on the toilet regretting my decision to consume one more piece of craptastic pizza. Now that's incredible. But what was also incredible was the smile on my son's face as we celebrated his 4th birthday with video games, rides, bumper cars and mediocre pizza. And for that, I got to give you some credit. Plus, I was told your salad bar wasn't bad. So maybe it's time for a little marketing intervention and to stop the false advertising. Instead of John's Incredible Pizza, why not John's Unexceptional Pizza and Amazing Arcade? John's So, So Pizza, Above Average Salad Bar and Indoor Carnival? John's Slightly Better Than Frozen Pizza and Wonderland? Or even John's You Might Throw Up in Your Mouth a Little Pizza but we are Better Than Chucky Cheese Fun Palace? See, it's incredible what you can come up with when you put your mind to it.

This is kind of a sad place. And I'll explain why.....First, the staff was not giving off the fun and friendly vibe you would expect in an establishment such as this. When they trotted out the dancing bear character and had an employee dancing alongside him, it was embarrassing and my daughter was scared and confused at the train wreck unfolding before us. Then they throw tickets out for the kids to trample each other over for free trinkets. Second, the food. Bad. I mean your signature item (the pizza) should be the saving grace here, but it's generic salty garbage. Johns Incredible, do yourselves a favor and motivate your staff to give the kids a memorable and fun experience, I don't blame them, I blame you. You have all the elements of a fun filled evening but none of the right tools to deliver. And for $50+ you really should be.

We came here with some friends for their son's birthday party. It was a Sunday evening so it wasn't too crowded or busy. The whole place was pretty clean and seems well kept. There were constantly people around cleaning up. Thankfully, there weren't any crazy kids running around, at least in our area. First impression? it's like Gametime. On steroids. The game room is HUGE, and there are so many different rooms to eat in, it's easy to find an open spot without any reservations (at least on a Sunday evening). And I love that you don't have to use tokens, those little petri dishes of germs and grossness. It's great to just use a card instead, which also stores the tickets you win. Another awesome win - it's buffet style, so the kids don't have to wait to eat. BIG time winning points from this mommy on that. The selections are a little limited, but hey - it's for kids. So for kid friendly food, it's pretty awesome. Fried chicken is crazy good (and always runs out fast coincidentally), and lots of pizza selections (cheeseburger pizza was sooo good). They even have a salad bar, baked potatoes, desserts, AND slushy machine. Oh yes. Slushy buffet heaven. The kids had a blast, and even though they were high on sugar, they got to burn it off in the ginormous game room. We will definitely be back - gotta pick out prizes with our leftover ticket winnings!

I have been coming here since they opened. One of the benefits of this place is the options were you want to over eat. They have 5 different rooms varying from a room with videos for tiny tots, middle schoolers, teens, sports tv, and a quiet room. I use the quiet room as a place to work on homework ad they offer free wi-fi.

Space: Great! It's huge and perfect for large parties. Arcade: It's OK. Fairly cheap. A couple of fun rides. Food: Well, the breadsticks are OK.

The only thing good about this place was the games and rides for kids. The food on the other hand was horrible!! Why is it called John's Incredible Pizza? The pizza was probably the worst and even after telling the staff about the uncooked pizza, they did nothing!! So over all they get one star from me!

I spent most of my first visit to JIPC in one of the rented party rooms where it was insanely hot. The temperature difference was confusing because it was a rather cool day in Portland (maybe 70) but the room was close to 90 degrees. It got so hot that we had to prop open the glass doors with chairs. My poor nephew was drenched in sweat for his b-day party. By the time we cut the two-tier birthday cake, it had started to melt and was slanted. This was an unfortunate and unprofessional situation for a venue that specializes in parties.

I just had my son's birthday party here last night. As always, I had a wonderful experience. The crew was more than willing to accommodate me as I waiting for a bunch of 9, 10, and 11 year Olds to show up. Note that I was just a walk in, so I DID NOT call and warn them in advance. For $25 a child, we got the endless buffet, and a game card with plenty of rides/games. The kids were kept busy for 2 hours, at least, and it was a complete success!! Thank you for making this night memorable, and for being so accommodating. We will definitely be back!!

I used to go there often with my spouse and kids, until this weekend we got the worse experience ever from staff, so I asked to talk to the manager and he was worse than his staff, unfortunately they don't know anything about good customer service. the pizza was old, pasta very old and you can see the color change to darker for sitting there for a long time. Also they deduct money out of your fun card without you using the card, I feel like I'm being robbed but they say they can't do anything about it. I sent an email to the corporate but never got an answer from them. They just lost me as a customer and more of my friends and family to come. I rate it as zero star. will never go back

I love this place! They constantly give coupons on their website and in-store. Large array of healthy options in the salad bar, plus soups, veggies, pizza, desserts. They even have a beer and wine bar and a sports room to watch games. Arcade is huge and they have 'free play' deals often so you can use the rides and games for free!

Went to John's Incredible Pizza for (me) the second time and (wife and kids) the fifth or so. Okay, so, this place is REALLY difficult to review. I'll spare the immense detail, as honestly twenty-something reviewers before me all pretty much got it right. This is a one-star, five-star, three-star kind of place. Period. So I took the average. Here's why it's tough. People are different. They are in different walks of life, with different amounts of expendable income. Some (like me) are foodies and nit-pick just about anything consumable to death. Some have toddlers. Others have teenagers. And others have kids outside that range. Some like crowded noisy places. Others like quiet solitude and intimate dining. Some get offended at the "admission" costs of a meal, while others look at the venue and note that with this level of cleanliness and maintain, someone has to pay for it. You getting where I'm headed here? John's Incredible Pizza is one of those places that will be rated very differently by just about everyone, depending upon your expectations. So, without trying to regurgitate (pardon the pun) stuff that everyone else has noted, I'll do my best to be honest. My impression of John's Incredible Pizza is "This is what Chuck E Cheese wants to be when it grows up." The predominant purpose for this venue is to let your 5ish through 15ish kids have a blast on a wide variety of clean and generally-well-maintained electonic and motorized play equipment. It's arcade-meets-carnival-rides using a debit-like card rather than quarters. Stuff costs about the same. Two hours of play will run the "average" adult about $30 per "average" kid, not counting any bonuses, coupons, VIP card discounts or spiffs. And not counting the $10ish an adult/$6ish a kid you paid for the meals, required for admission. This place is not inexpensive. In fact, I'd say it's rather pricey. But it's where you'd go if you want to let your kids have a top-notch arcade/gaming experience without gum all over everything and while still having relatively decent places for adults to sit and hang out. Please don't come here with the expectation that your $10 buffet meal is going to be high quality. This is a gaming establishment first, and a decent buffet-food wannabe place second. I was going to be unique and pithy and say the pizza at John's Incredible Pizza...isn't. But lo and behold, at least ten other reviewers before me already thought that one up. The food is...okay. Salads were reasonably fresh, but please don't come here looking for that Sweet Tomatoes (aka Souplantation) experience or you shall be sorely disappointed. Pizza, when just brought out, is edible. It rapidly degrades to dry cardboard in about 10 minutes. Pizza selection can be unique and for the adventurous (Mac and Cheese Pizza, really?) , but sometimes I'd just long for a nicely done, normal, combo slice. But the kids still think it's great--remember, this is predominantly a place for the kids! Foodies will whine incessantly. They have a selection of differently-themed rooms. Some, like the Music-themed Fusion room, are more maturely-oriented and the adults in our group tend to hang there as it's actually the quietest spot in the house. Pretty cool and eclectic music selection, too--found myself heading home to download from some new artists I'd not previously known. Squirty dessert (vanilla, chocolate, swirl) is exactly what you'd expect, nothing special. Again, kids love it, but this is no Cold Stone. 12- and 16-oz mugs of beer are available for adults to dull what remains of the concerns of having already emptied their wallets. Overall, it makes for a fun (if expensive) way for a family to kill 2-3 hours. Pay attention to some of their deals (specials, and also the VIP passes) which can save you money and also accumulate credit value over time (making subsequent visits less expensive). In all, "A-ok" for adults, but your kids will think they're in heaven. And ultimately, since really the gaming is the primary attraction here (why else would you go--there are much better buffets-sans-gamerooms for WAAAAYYY less) it's a good venue for its intended target audience.

(Spoiler alert) John's Incredible Pizza.... isn't. A massive buffet and games palace awaits brave parents who wish to spare the rod and spoil their children silly, as kids will love, love, love this. Like a massive "Chuck E. Cheese", but with a couple of rides thrown into the arcade mix (A "Tilt a Whirl" type thing and Bumper Cars), John's first outpost out of its home California base is located in suburban Portland near Washington Square Mall. Housed inside a former Circuit City, the "right side" of the hall is comprised of the buffet lines (pizza, hot pasta, salads and desert bars) with "themed" dining rooms open to the public. To the "left" is the game hall and private party rooms, with a large public seating area where you can take your food and beverages (beer and wine available) to watch your kiddies play the games, run through massive amounts of money to purchase pre-loaded cards to play the games, and stare wantingly at a bevy of prizes and awards that will be just beyond their reach at a ticket redemption counter. Mrs. Burgerdogboy and her visiting sis chose John's as a destination to celebrate little sis's bday, probably on the basis of "well it looks fun, and pizza is a way to win friends and influence people" (meaning me). And they were right, on both counts, they had fun with the games and we came away with the ubiquitous souvenir from the foto booth, and Burgedogboy is always down for buffets, especially pizza-centric ones. As for the pizza? Meh. While John's offers a wide variety of topping choices on the buffet, they won't win any prizes for quality or flavor, but then they aren't out to win awards, just to fill bellies of all ages. Buffet purchase is required for entrance, and most hours of the day, it'll cost you $10 a pop for adults, $6 for children. There is an LTO lunch offer at a flat $5, and buffet purchase does include unlimited food and drinks (non-alcoholic). Getting stiff on beers will cost you $3.50 - $6.75 for a glass. Bonus for you parents that want to really get your kids wound up, the drinks bar includes unlimited Icee's. One also has the option of a bundled ticket purchase including the buffet and game/ride tix - these run up to $35. John's passes the test for a safe and clean environment to take your ankle biters, but supervision would be required for toddler-sized ankle biters. In other words, your children would have the most fun if accompanied by their parent's debit cards to maximize game and ride play. I imagine this place is chock-a-block packed on weekends, but on a Monday nite, it was user friendly. Parents (2 with 2 toddlers) should plan on spending $50 plus for the experience.

Ok! I know we as parents come to places like this for our children. But let us be honest...this place is horrible! First let us rate the food. I would give the food a negative stars if I could. I have eaten here three times and each time the food was below fast food levels. Even fast food tastes better! The food is lukewarm, bland flavor, and limited. Yes it looks like they offer a variety of food but really it is so minimal and tastes HORRIBLE! Now to rate the rides. First I will say just how disappointed I am that for my daughter's 9th birthday she chose this place. She chose it for the main ride and guess what...it was BROKEN! We were not offered anything to make it better. My daughter actually cried! Now onto the games...they made them harder and prizes harder! I worked really hard for my daughter to get tickets because the ride she wanted was broken. Through way to much money and time we got 2500 tickets and wow the CRAP they offer for prizes is embarrassing. I feel like we are made to pay $50 for a $1 item. This place is the WORST place you can pick for your child's birthday!

New Pizza place open in Beaverton near Washington Square. Definitely geared towards kids of all ages. Buffet style food with a decent salad bar pasta bar potato bar and pizza bar. Pizza bar consists of buffalo chicken pizza, Nacho pizza, macaroni and cheese pizza and normal fair. They have themes eating rooms from a cabin style, sports, music and several others. The rest of the place is like a Disney slash Casino for fun. Get your game card for games and rides including a twister ride and bumper cars all indoors. If you have kids this is a fun change of pace. The food is decent you get unlimited trips of food and drinks. This is a nice addition to the Beaverton area.

It's a pretty good concept. Went here for a birthday for one of the kids. The staff was great and handled the pre-teens well. This place is way better than chuckie Cheese. The food is buffet pizza, which is low-mid quality. There is a separate section for salads (didn't try because honestly, I'm concerned about the germs on all the other kids and people there) There is also a pasta bar section. Actually wasn't too bad. And finally, the desert bar. It's not extensive, but the items were OK. Plusses, the kids can get what they want and as much as they want. Plenty of games for them to play on and get all those tickets. Takes way too long to redeem for their prizes (but that's grumpy me, after a few hours, I'm ready to leave NOW). For those that complained about the noise, I did see a couple of rooms by the buffett that were on the opposite side of the games. Didn't seem to loud there, give it a try. I won't be a regular here, but it was good for what we went there to do.

Great place to take the kids! Very large spacious and fun environment! Innovative seating options, food was fresh, maybe pretty run of the mill with hints of genius ( those freshly made mini donuts were a HIT!). Lots of arcades and rides (yes rides!) along with individual party rooms. Cost.... Added up.... But we have to pay to play! I wanted to see a little more uniqueness around the salad bar.... And being REALLY picky.... Those little spoons you use at the salad bar are what's causing your employees migraines to keep it cleaned up ( it spills all over). Great concept.... Love the creativity....! We'll be back! :)

Man this is a kid's heaven. It has many different eating rooms so the adults can go and sit and eat in relative peace like in the Sports Room and watch Sports, or go into the Fuzion room and listen to music or just relax in peace in the Log Cabin room. If your kids like Cartoons there is the Cartoon room where they can watch what looked like Disney Cartoons or you can go eat over in the arcade area with all the noise of the rides and arcade games. This place is for kids. The food isn't the greatest in the world but I really enjoyed the selection of pizza and found some new flavors like Macaroni & Cheese Pizza, or Spicy Peanut Butter Pizza. They also had a nice salad bar if you wanted or a noodle bar with some decent selection of spaghetti or other types of noodles. The best part was the Dessert bar which had the BEST cinnamon rolls I have ever had at a Buffet. Beats Izzy's cinnamon rolls by a mile. Overall I really liked the place and if I had kid's I would bring them here. It's Chuck E. Cheese on steroids.

We went on a Saturday night with a small group for my son's birthday. We expected crowds but found getting in and finding a seat to be easy. Because this is a kids place with games, our expectations for service, ambience and food quality were low. The biggest problem that we encountered was that there was not enough food being served at any of the buffet stations to keep up with customers. We were unable to have pizza for a long time an only got slices by muscling others out of the way for it. The salad bar was easily out of half of it's items, leaving me with only lettuce, dressing and sunflower seeds. The dessert station was completely picked over with a line at least 10 - 15 people deep at all times for the one working ice cream dispenser. We also had a mix up with our bill in which drinks were charged to all of us even though half of us had planned to have a beer with our pizza (pizza we never actually got). In all, it was disappointing that we were unable to really eat much of the dinner we had paid for. I have no plans to return here.

It's a pretty cool place to take the kiddos it's definitely a lot better than Chuck E Cheese. The pizza is pretty bland, but in my opinion pizza is like sex. Even when it's just okay, it's still good. The main reason why I give this place four stars? The mini donuts. Oh my lawd. I swear these things are laced with crack or something they are so delicious.

A solid "meh" from me. For upward of $20 a person you get what could generously be called a pizza biopsy (though it IS all-you-can-eat), unlimited drink refills and a decently diverse buffet, and for the adults there's beer in the back. The dessert bar is also pretty good, featuring miniature brownies, donuts and cake, but that's not enough to redeem the whole buffet. Where John's really shines is the arcade and the rides for the children. That $20 I mentioned earlier also comes with arcade credit and one to four ride credits. Many of the games are the "skill shot" type games where you win tickets, but there's definitely something for everyone.

I was very close to giving John's Incredible Pizza three stars, but I gave them four, and I'll tell you why. We've been here numerous times and had a blast. The buffet is decently priced. The pizza isn't rockin', but it's pretty good, and they have unusual flavors too like Spicy Peanut Butter Pizza and Macaroni and Cheese Pizza. You also get unlimited drink refills (on both soda and Icees, among other things), a salad bar, and some pretty good desserts. There are a lot of fun rides, and it's pretty easy to win prizes. Not overly easy, you still have to work (read spend money) to get them, but it is still fun to try. The bumper cars are great. My only complaint is that they recently raised their prices, which almost makes the place not worth it. That is why I wanted to give them three stars. However, this last time we went, my son who is lactose intolerant, was made a pizza all to himself so he could eat with us. Bonus points, and kudos to the staff for taking the time! Bumped you guys back up to four stars. I'm sure we will be back, even with the prices, just maybe not as often. Cool place to go.

Pizza and video games: some say it's the American Dream. But are these fragile hopes of our nation's children held aloft on crumbling pillars? To wit, PLUS SIDE: The atmosphere is well-planned, with separate rooms built to appeal to raucous cartoon-watching, tween angst, and quiet woodsy repose. The high ceilings of this former Circuit City make for a sense of enormity and adventure, and also allow for such rarities as a full-size junior carnival ride and bumper car pavillion. Chuck E Please! You can't touch that! The prizes in the ticketorium are more enticing than your standard throwaway skeeball junk trinkets. Keep on the lookout for frequent coupons and VIP specials (e.g., a recent run of $3 buffet Tuesdays made me a very plush duke, indeed) PIZZA SIDE: The best pizzas are signature spicy peanut-butter, BBQ chicken ranch, Buffalo Chicken, alfredo, pesto, and nacho. These are hardly Grade-A pizza, but plenty tasty for the kidplex factor, and the creativity is appreciated. MINUS SIDE: The games have been steadily breaking down over this past year, and regular players know better than to whack those moles. Management seems content to gather complaints, apologize, and cheerfully leave the malfunctioning units in place without warning. Moving parts=beware! Cashing in free prize vouchers won at the VIP check-in station is an exercise in counterintuitive DMVesque bureaucracy. UNACCEPTABLE SIDE: Every damn time, there's something rancid in the salad bar. I've brought to the attention of management foul edamame (yes, I can see now that I should've known better than to dole out edameme at a pizza joint), slimy lettuce, and other questionable items. Bottom line: There's a lot of potential, and this concept stirs the imagination, but the franchise seems to be floundering under its own weight, and corners seem to be getting cut. Go with your eyes open and expectations tempered, and your kids will have a good time.

I went here on a field trip with my students and the food was great. And the rides were neat because it was all indoors. It reminds me of a party place for kids like Dnb in California. The downside why it lost a star was because the arcades are expensive (or I thought it was) with the games. I guess that's how you are supposed to do it though. It's a place to try out for yourself it's fun for kids but expect to spend money too.

If you're burnt out on taking your kid to the zoo, OMSI, The Children's Museum, Playdate PDX, and the like, then this is a great place to add to the lineup. As everyone else has said, it's pricey and the food quality is sub-par if you're an adult. The music is loud and the lights are bright. Be sure to take ibuprofen before entering for the inevitable headache you will leave with. But face it, the reason why you come to a place like this is for the kids. And John's Incredible Pizza does a good job of catering to the kids. Kids of all ages will be entertained- from the gated playground for toddlers to the bumper cars and amusement rides for the tweens. The kids will have a ball with the buffet and different themed dining rooms. Be on the lookout for online deals and flash sales on sites like Groupon. It makes it a little easier to go to a place like this when you're not paying full price.

My 2 siblings and I came to check this place out because we kept hearing how great it was. They did not disappoint! We spent $80 and had lots of good food and like 4hrs of fun. It was really clean. The food was good. Better than most buffets. The bathrooms were really clean too. The best part was the staff was wonderful. They were kind and gave very good customer service. Check it out.

Been there done that. Great place for kids because they aren't the ones who just spent over $100 on crappy food and games, but not so great for the parent who is forced to buy the food as the entrance fee. $11.28 for the adult meal on a Friday $15.56 for two kid meals (ages 7-12) $49.98 for two game cards that lasted about an hour $0.50 for the card that the games are loaded on (REALLY? It's not even hard plastic!) $30.00 for the additional games the kids begged for since they burn through them so fast Atrocious food. At least at Chuck E Cheese you can escort your kids and read a book for free while they have fun or interact with them without having to pay for the food. Here, to get in, you must buy the meals for all members in attendance. The pluses? Yes, the kids have fun. It's big and spacious and clean since it's brand new. There are no candy prizes and the prizes they do have for higher scores are actually fairly decent (my daughter earned a lava lamp). They have a real ride (Twister) inside. The weird? Total copy of Chuck E Cheese including the setup and a bear who does the exact same walk-arounds and kiddie dances as the mouse does at Chuck E's. Mix of depressive teenage boy at check-in counter and teenagers who incessantly ask you if you are having a good time while you are there. A little too much. Expensive fun. Certainly not geared for adults (not the food and not the entertainment). The high reviews on here look very suspicious.

Good God. Get your wallet out!! Went there with a friend, really just to see what it was about. I was hungry, but she wasn't at all. Didn't want to eat. No matter, you are still paying $12 each, regardless if they want to eat or not. You can't go there and just play games, you have to buy the cardboard pizza.I went ahead and paid since I was there. Chuck E Cheese on steriods. Save your money. Stop at Staples and buy some cardboard. It will be much more inexpensive and will actually taste better than the pasta and pizza. I mean really, the pizza was simply some toppings (very few toppings at best) on a piece of cardboard. The pastas were very gummy and the two soups were Campbells canned soup. There was the salad bar, but how can you screw that up?? Same with the ice cream out of the machine. So now to the arcade. We just went down and looked. But I figured if a family of 4 went there--4 buffets and sodas, which again, you have no option, and then the arcade cards--be prepared to spend a $100 bill. No way, Jose, it is not worth that at all.

Food was pretty gross with the exception of the garlic bread and soda. It was way overpriced. The games weren't as awesome for my 5 yr old as they would've been if he were 8 or 9 maybe. My 2 yr old didn't have much to do either. Will go back to finish using up the balance on the card we bought for activities, but that's about it. The bathrooms were disgustingly dirty too.

    (3)
  • Jennifer L.

You don't come here for the food. You come for the games. My husband and I love the hoop shoot and skee ball. The tickets produced let the kids pick out plastic crap from overseas from the "store". Agree that this is a place to have in the kid friendly location rotation.

Spent a couple of days in Beaverton awhile back, so I ate at John's Incredible...thought it was great! The kids loved it, the teen's loved it, and so did the adults. Food is very good, and the games are more fun than ever! I highly recommend it.

$6.99 for adult buffet lunch and no charge for kids under 3. So empty during the week that we almost have the place to ourselves. It's a buffet with salad, baked potato, soups, pizza of course, and dessert. After lunch, I take the kids to the game side for some over priced rides and games. It's always clean and we are there for a couple hours. It can get pricey if you have older kids or a big family. They have a free toddler play structure that's enclosed.

This place was a great way to spend my Sunday. My wife and I had driven by this place several times, and we felt impulsive so we took Jeffy (our almost 2 year old) there. Let's go chronologically. Food. The food itself is a pure meh. Low quality pizza, lower quality (yet still tasty) pasta, and generic salad fare. I ate the food and got some enjoyment out of it. But, I am pretty sure, as an adult, I am not the target audience for the food. My Jeffy, on the other hand, loved the food. It's all you can eat, so that's not bad. Eating area. The place has five themed rooms; Futuristic, cartoons, western cabin, sports and music. Jeffy, naturally, ran toward the sports room. (His first word was "ball" and first phrase was "football game") The sports room has three giant projector screens, and three 40-some inch tvs, all with sports on them. We were watching a replay of game 2 of the Caps Rangers series, ans Jeffy was enthralled. When Arnott scored the goal in the second period he started clapping (even though it really happened close to 2 months ago). This room might actually be cool to come to on a Sunday (If the NFL owners get their greedy heads out of their waste pipes in time) and send Mommy and Gamma with Jeffy, and have my dad and I watch a Hawks game. When we were finished eating, they had the mascot bear walking around. Jeffy ran out of the room and hugged him and high fived him. Game area. Most kiddie places for toddlers have a litte play area and then a seating area for parents to either be bored, or be happy (if they're already boring), but this place had a bunch of games for us to play as well as Jeffy. Jeffy loved the little train, alien car, and carousel as well as watching us play. In the end we had 738 tickets (that 339 high score on the football game was me, good for 100 tickets) and got Jeffy a Matchbox and a giant blow up hammer, with which he is sure to break something. All in all, we spent two and a half hours there, and were very pleased. We had fun. Jeffy had fun. What else do I need to say? Two signs Jeffy enjoyed himself: - He cried when we left. - He immedieately crashed in teh car and is still asleep close to thirty minutes later. The place is fairly pricey for points, but definitely good for a once a month playtime.

Someone at work mentioned this to me... so I had to check it out. BE SURE TO ORDER WATER... or watch that lunch price jump on you! I noticed after they ran my card. Place is OK. Definitely geared for ages 16 and under. Not going to be back here for a while... unless my nieces 6-9 are in town... thanks John but do you really think most of your patrons could spell incredible... should have gone with something like JOHN'S YUMMY PIZZA

Great Place to the kids! Been there twice in a row and enjoyed both experience thus far. Pizza was good (not too oily), and I like that you can order any type of pizza with any of the ingredients that they have. Great Place to take the Hubby too, if he is really not the type to go to kid stuffs, you can just stick him in the Hall of Fame room, which seems to be our favorite rooms since we are sports fans. (Can't wait till Football Season starts) Totally one of our favorite places to go since it is big enough to where it won't be too crowded. Sorry Chucky but we are going to be kicking it with the Bear from now on! LOL It's INCREDIBLE!!

John's Incredible Pizza Co. is one very well laid out family fun center. The dining area itself is divided into thematic rooms. Some examples are Hall of Fame (sports), Fusion (music), Cabin (homey), and a cartoon room. All of the dining rooms are clean, comfortable, and far away from the arcade action. The staff here is friendly and helpful. The noise level is completely under control. The adult admission fee to John's Incredible Pizza Co. is $11.28. With admission you get access to an all you can eat buffet and endless trips to the soda fountain. Beer and wine is also served at John's for an additional fee. The buffet itself is set up into basically four buffet stations: salad, pasta, pizza, and dessert. The salad and dessert stations are pretty basic with limited selections. My least favorite was the pasta buffet. The marinara sauce was absolutely awful. John's company might be incredible but there's not too much incredible about the pizza here. It's pretty basic buffet pizza. Thin crust pizza that dries out very quickly under heat lamps. However, I will say that John's Incredible Pizza Co. does serve some good flavors of pizza. Some examples are the Alfredo, nacho, margarita, and the Hawaiian. If I were to pig out again at John's Incredible Pizza Co. I would stick to the pizza bar and forget about the rest. The arcade center at John's Incredible Pizza Co. is just plain pure fun. An octopus, bumper cars, and games for all ages. John's even has private enclosed rooms for private parties. Never in my Yelp career have I had so much trouble figuring out how many stars I want to give to a business. John's Incredible Pizza Co. has my stumped. Oh well, here goes. Minus one star for the awful food and minus one star for the fact that I was charged admission to eat the awful food. Three stars for the wonderful time I had on the bumper cars and for the fact that John's Incredible Pizza Co. truly cares about the comfort of their patrons.

The food is just average.... but what do you expect from a buffet geared towards children? You don't go there for the food. The games are a bit overpriced and you easily forget how much money you're spending as it's all done by pre-charged card.. but the kids have great fun. Great for a kids birthday party or just something a bit more than the good ole Chuck E Cheese. It's like Chuck E Cheese on mega steroids.

We took our daughter and a couple of her friends here on a Thursday night (no school Friday) ... WOW, we essentially had the place all to ourselves! A great place to take picky eaters, where everyone can choose their own stomach aches, I mean meals. Come on, it IS buffet style, what do you expect? The kids had SO much fun! The place is huge, clean, and the games are the newest I've seen anywhere. GIANT Connect Four anyone? The rides were the highlight for the girls. The three of them had the bumper cars and the Twister to themselves multiple times. I was told the weekends are slammed, but as I said if you can and are so inclined, go on a weekday. For the price, roughly $20 a person, we got entry for four (paid $6 for one more child), plus our food and drink, plus four $25 game cards! Totally worth it and totally needed for Januarys in Portland.

Awesome place to take the kids and we went twice in a row! Extensive buffet of salad, pasta, pizza, dessert, and drinks. There's even an Icee machine and a beer and wine bar! Food is good, I like the veggie pizza and the Alfredo pizza that tastes like Little Caesar's garlic cheese bread. There are five different themed dining rooms and they are spacious enough. We liked the Hall of Fame room that's a sports themed room. I can just imagine this will be most popular room come football season. I know where we'll be at! I HIGHLY recommend that you sign up for their email notifications, you get coupons for free game points, rides, and etc. If you are in the Military you get a 10% discount off your bill as well. I was going to give this place 4 stars after I had a little problem with being overcharged on my bill, but after talking to the supervisor on duty they immediately corrected the error with no fuss. Also, when my son didn't want to go on one of the rides after our points were deducted from our game card, there was no problem with refunding back the 10 points. With great customer service and overall experience they get all 5 stars!

Our younger kids have a very enjoyable time at JIPC. The food is standard buffet fair and seems to be best and freshest during busier periods, as expected. There are various themed rooms depending on your level of noise and distraction. For young children's arcade games, I think Chuck E Cheese is better at $0.25 per game instead of two to four times more. We have a great time on the big whirly ride, enjoy the racing games, and have fun with four tables of air hockey.

John's is very spacious with standard arcade madness. The game room is well planned with mostly modern, kid-oriented games. There's a toddler play area and three rides for children and adults: The Twister, Air Incredibear, and Boogie Bumper Cars. It's like a mini-casino for kids but sans the toxic smoke and scantily dressed servers. Five themed dining areas separate the main game room. TVs adorn most walls, so you can't escape the Incredible Digital Overlord. Avoid the Mac & Cheese as it tastes like wet cardboard. The pizza is good and a little dry but you won't be doing any Incredible Backflips. Try to get fresh pieces of pie, otherwise lukewarm will be on your menu. The salad bar kicks serious granola so pile that pineapple on yer pizza. The customer service rocked without being too pushy. Keep in mind, you'll need to pay the buffet "entrance fee". For one child and adult, I'd recommended bringing $35-50 to cover food and about two hours of games. John's also offers FunCards which allow paying digitally but it's very easy to blow through money fast (like a casino). See you in the laser maze, beoytches. Pew pew pew!

    (3)
  • Kid V.

John's Incredible Pizza is truely incredible. While the parents can sit and eat in one of the five different themed rooms, the kids can bump around in the bumper cars, be a secret spy in the laser course or jump on the Twister to spin, among many other things. The prices can be a little pricy, but at about $7 for unlimited food and drink, and about $25 for a basic card, this place is worth every penny. If you can, go to John's Incredible Pizza.

I came here for a birthday party last night. Not exactly sure why a 22 year old decided that this would be a great place to have her birthday party, but what the hay. This place is basically Chuck E Cheese on steroids. They have a huge buffet with a full salad bar, all sorts of different kinds of pasta and different types of pizza. The buffet is part of the admission cost. They also have beer and wine but you have to buy those separately. There are tons of different rooms with different TV shows to hang out in. The room at the end also has a couple of big screen TVs with different sports programs on. They have everything from bumper cars to arcade games. This place would have been heaven if I was ten, but I still had fun there anyways. There are tons of little munchkins running around everywhere so if you don't like kids then this is probably not the place for you.

If you don't like kids, don't want to act like kids, don't want to have kids, in general...you are a kids hater...I don't think this place is for you. If you loved gourmet food and expect gourmet pizzas, pastas, and desserts from John's ...well you might be disappointed. John's pizzas are not that incredible. If you got them fresh, yes they are alright. I like the Spicy Peanut Butter pizza and that's the only slice that I think is worth mentioning. Pasta dishes are not their forte at all here. Their pastas had been seating out for a while, so they all dried out and didn't taste like pasta. The safe bet for pasta dishes, serve yourself the plain spaghetti/fetuccini noodles and top them off with the meat/Alfredo sauces. What I like from the buffet is their Salad bar which amazingly fresh and has pretty good variety of dressings. Also, their ice cream cones..it's self serve and it's yummy. I put the soft sweet donut on top of my ice cream cone and I enjoyed every bite of it. I also love their all you can drink ICEE (sugar overload) and the fancy Iced tea machine where you can choose among 5 different teas by just pressing a button. Now, you come to John's to HAVE FUN and yes it will get expensive if you had kiddos, but at the same time it's HELLA FUN. I love the bumper cars ride. You can spin your bumper car and all those ticket prizes machines they are fun to play with. I think John's incredible pizza is a perfect place for family outings, birthdays, or even grown up dates without you and your loved one being grown ups.

If you care about nutrition, run in the other direction. If you don't care and you love random food like Mac n cheese pizza, by all means, come into this child paradise and eat your heart (attack) out!

A lot of whiners here complaining about the price.....this was actually cheaper than we get out of Big Al's for (2 adults and 2 kids and a $25 fun card which includes 2 rides--we did have a 1 free buffet coupon, but these are easy to get). The food is horrible....it is actually disgustingly bad. Pizza is probably one of the worst I've ever had (and I've eaten some bad pizza)--doughy bread crust, prego sauce and minimum toppings. Pasta is worse (hamburger helper that sat under heat lamps). Salad bar was actually decent. Desert was good....they have this donut machine and soft serve. Food is not worth the $11 it costs for admission. But honestly, who goes to a pizza buffet and expects a decent meal anyways.....you go there to get full on crap food for a cheap price. But, the kids like it and it is easy to get them to clean their rooms and do their homework if you take them there (which is why they are 3 stars). They have a room with many TV's where you can grab a beer or an ICEE and a plate full of donuts and watch a game while the kids wear themselves out.

Hosted a party for my daughter's 13th Birthday! The pre-teens had a great time! Even us adults had a bit of fun! I am not a buffet person for OCD reasons, but it was kept filled, neat and clean!

I had my kids birthday there and everyone had a great time. The staff there were very helpful and friendly. They kept the party on track and entertained the kids. Establishment is clean and had a variety of games for all ages to play.

Had a great time with my 5 year old today. I was BLOWN away at how great the experience was. We sat in the sports area. Fantastic. It was awesome. Everything there was done with quality. My son LOVED the unlimited icees and ice cream. I learned, while we were trying to get some pizza, that you can CUSTOM order any pizza you want. They made it in about 10 minutes. Very nice touch. The pizza itself was ok. Not bad at all. All the other food was very good. Some of the games were out of order and didn't have signs on them. A little confusing. Also, it seemed as though the staff interaction was a little low. I wish there was someone handing out welcome instructions while waiting in line or the tv's telling you about the experience. I didn't quite understand that the game/ride options. It was cheaper to buy them upon entrance rather than at the end. I I would have enjoyed knowing more about party options, since I have two children, but didn't really see anything and the Party Reservation center seemed a bit closed off to get to. All in all a great experience and we will go back. One thing to note.......although it was very busy, it didn't feel crowded at all. You probably know what I am talking about........tons of kids sneezing all around you while you try to shovel down terrible food.....ie Chuck E Cheese. This was the complete opposite. The volume of the TV's in the sports room were a bit loud. Great work John! The biggest thing would be just further explanation on how things work there. I could barely hear the cashier trying to explain the options. Also, I would suggest giving people a discount of $x at the register to "LIKE" you on Facebook while in line! Grow the fans! Thanks!

I would say that if you're looking for something to fill you up then you may have found the place. The pizza has some decent taste if made fresh... the buffalo chix is the best of the lot with the pesto running a close second. The salad bar is very fresh with lots to select from. Beer and wine are a little pricey - but if your going to be around kids running and screaming, you may want to invest. I think the game room is limited with too many rides where games should be. I will say that of all the themed dining rooms, there is something of a sports room that is pretty comfy with multiple big screens and some nice booth action. Overall, it's not bad for a family outing or party. We checked it out on a rainy day before going to see "Moneyball" thanks to sharing spree for some nice savings.

Great kids pizza/arcade place! Blows Chuck E Cheese out of the water. The pizza is comparable to the typical delivery pizza. Don't go here if you are looking for gourmet pizza. However the kids will love it! Several different dinning rooms to choose from. Our family liked the sports themed room the best. It had a lot of big screen TVs with games on. I loved the fact you could get a wide variety of drinks. Slushies, mochas, beer, milk, soda and more. The game room was really fun. It wasn't too crowed. We went on a Sunday evening. The price was a little spendy. We will only go here for special occasions.

Wasn't too sure about this place as I'm not too found of pizza buffets (izzys for example) as the pizza is usually rubbery and its usually been sitting out all day. Not so much the case here. This place is pretty good. It's not the "best" but better then other places that have the same type of buffet. The pizza did not taste like plastic and they even put some fresh ones out when I walked up to the counter. They could have had a bit more to choose from on the buffet besides pasta and salad but I'm not complaining. They did only have three pizzas to choose from when we went despite having a few more empty spots on the counter. I heard you can custom order a pizza, but I didn't want to wait for that so I just stuck with the classic pepperoni/sausage. Unlike chuckie Cheese, this place is aimed at all ages. Located in the old circuit city, it looked like they used every square foot of the old electronics store. You walk in and order your food and any rides you want. The rides and "kid" section is on one side (thank god) while the buffet and the rooms are on the other. I say rooms as its just that. Rooms. Not just one big one cuz, if you are gonna open a restaurant in an old retail store and use the entire store, you might as well have "rooms" There are four-five rooms you can choose to eat at. Ranging from a movie room, to party rooms for the kids to even a log cabin themed room with a fireplace. I ate in the log cabin room and had a table by the fire. It was pretty nice and cozy in there. Mellow lighting. I recommend this room if you want a peaceful, mellow diner. The buffet is separated in four sections. Salads, pastas, pizza and deserts. They even have a beer section where a staff member can get you your brew, though you'll need to order that when you order your food. I was driving so I did not order a beer. I'll be back again and hopefully they will have the other pizzas out.

Been here twice with my family and have enjoyed it. Now, keep in mind, if you're looking for gourmet pizza, then you really need to look elsewhere. If you're looking for a place to bring your kids, play some games and eat, then it's great! The menu is basic -- pizza, salad bar, dessert, pastas -- all things that majority of kids enjoy. Most of the games are typical of many places with the same offerings. They do have bumper cars, and other bigger rides for older kids/adults which is a nice variety. Keep in mind that there doesn't seem to be any restrictions from the gaming area and the buffet, so it appears like you can spend the whole day there if you want to eating away and then playing games. It's isn't dirt cheap, but for what our family was looking for, it was great.

LOVED IT !! FOOD ALL TASTE HOMEMADE. We loved the PIZZA & DESERTS. Getting to pick out your room setting was great too. Didn"t do game room this time but definitely will next time! Walked through & it looks GREAT. Lots of different things to do, play & ride. YUMMY YUMMY FUN FUN Can"t wait to go back

Good family fun. But you have to pay to get (buffet) in plus, pay for the games and rides. It says you have to pay for the buffet even if your not there to eat. Not cool! Their food is unhealthily. Im not talking about pizza or cake and ice cream . I'm talking about the SPLITTING HEADACHES i get from their food. We've been here plenty of times for me to know something is not right with what they put in their food. I don't eat when I go there and im fine. So I know it's not the rowdiness from all the kids giving me a headache..lol I also get the same reaction to McDonald beef. It's some kind of additive or something that makes me feel nauseated and have such BAD headaches. Yes, i do eat pizza and hamburgers from other places and I'm fine. I wish they did not charge for there god awful Buffet or an "admission" fee One thing that was nice, the games were all new and not broken like the one in our home town. I'd rather go to BIG Al's!

Took my daughter here as a special treat after she'd had a rough time...asked her where she wanted to go and this was it. Her Dad has taken her a couple times but I had always tried to avoid going. I was secretly not happy, since I'd heard the food was terrible and I don't normally like places like this. We went on a Saturday around 3pm. I thought the buffet prices were pretty standard, and ended up being pleasantly surprised by the food. Fresh pizzas were being put out often and the salad bar was really good. I liked the pepperoni & jalepeno pizza and the alfredo pizza. Was surprised too that the desserts were even good! (evil little fried donuts were YUMMY) I have a feeling that when they are slow and food isn't being replaced often, it probably isn't good...so this was a plus for being there on a weekend. Place was loud and busy but nothing horrible...enough room for everyone. Short waits for the rides. My 8 year old LOVES the games and the rides, so I enjoyed myself seeing her smile and laugh. It is expensive, but for an occasional outing I think it's fine...for just under $40 we had our food and more than enough games/rides for the kiddo. Not too bad, I'd say we were there about 2 hours. I also want to mention that the staff was very friendly, and when we had a problem with a game, a girl working there helped us right away and was very nice. We will go back.

I read alot of reviews about this place before i went, and i think for the people that are complaining- you are asking for Disneyland) The staff was super friendly, the food was good, and the kids had a blast! It wasn't anymore expensive then almost any other indoor kid place (Chuck E Cheeses, Wunderland, Etc).. and they have better prizes :) We will def. be going back while the weather is crappy!

Well, the pizza is anything but incredible, although their varieties of pizza are interesting. The garlic pesto pizza was pretty decent actually. Their pastas are horrible (I don't think they can legally call what they serve pasta), and even my 5 year old claimed their mac n' cheese was bad. At least the items in the salad bar seemed fresh and maintained. They do serve beer and wine here, but since this is usually an outing for the kids, I've not partaken. The dessert bar is usually just chocolate cake, cinnamon rolls, donuts, and soft serve. The cake was dry, and the cinnamon rolls were overheated and hard. So with the mediocre food, why four stars? I found the different themed rooms for dining to be a nice touch and definitely added to the overall experience. Their staff was attentive and were always around to clear plates and answer questions. The gameroom was AMAZING. Much bigger than I expected and has actual rides for the kids (and adults) to ride on. There is a twister ride, bumper cars, laser maze, and a bucaneer type plane ride. There is a small play area for the younger tots to climb on and for parents to rest. There were plenty of ticket redemption games to keep you and your kids busy for hours. My daughter loves their mascot, the Incredibear, who comes out periodically to give the kids high-fives and hugs, and also to dance and throw out tickets. The outing here can be spendy, but as long as you don't go overboard in the gameroom, it's not so bad. I usually end up going here about once a month now, and will probably continue to do so until my daughter outgrows it

Like many others here, I'm struggling to determine how to rate this place because its highs and lows are so extreme. The food is a '1' but the games are a '5' for this kind of establishment. Let's start with the positive. The gaming area really is well designed and maintained. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the rides, the well-kept arcade machines and the exceptional service. Our 4-year old had a ball...she even went on the octopus-esque ride! Everything you'd want out of a Chuck E. Cheese-style establishment is here, with the exception of old-school style cabinets, like fighting games, beat-em-ups, classic games and shooters (with the exception of a Terminator cabinet and a table-style update of Pac-Man). It's possible I just missed 'em since I was allowing my kid to lead me around by the nose, and she was much more interested in the machines with all the flashing lights spitting out tickets (aside: I was impressed with how generous some of these machines are with tickets)! I doubt these sorts of games simply escaped my notice, though, as I would have liked to play a round of Street Fighter or something and never had the opportunity. So, that's the good. The gaming area is head and shoulders above Chuck E. Cheese. Now for the bad. By the time you walk through the front door, John's already has you by the short hairs. You are immediately guided into a line leading to a series of registers; there is no way to access the game area without passing by. You are asked to pay up front for the buffet in addition to the cost of games; there is no way to simply enjoy the rides and games. You don't want to be that parent who balks at the cost and says, "sorry kids, not today!" And it is for that reason that I would advise you to not walk through the door at all. The food is horrid. The only things I enjoyed were the apple cobbler and the frozen yogurt from the machine. The pizza is terrible, the pasta is terrible, even many of the desserts, the salad dressing and watered-down soda are terrible. I have plenty of experience with this sort of buffet, and John's Incredible Pizza was far and away the worst I have ever eaten. I will never, ever pay for that food again. The service in this area matches that of the gaming side, but it's almost to the point of harassment. It isn't enjoyable to have your meal interrupted every two minutes by someone asking if they can get you anything or take that plate now. Ironically, the only time I needed service I had to walk all the way across the dining area to get it - we had spilled some milk and I tried unsuccessfully to flag down a "dining attendant," but they were too focused on their robotic rounds - can I get you anything? can I take that plate? - to notice. All this highlights a significant flaw with this business model: I would love to come back here and enjoy the game room again, and I'd happily shell out the $25 for 2 rides and 115 credits, which was a great deal and allowed for about two hours of fun with my wife and daughter. Unfortunately, because we can't get at that area of the place without paying for the buffet, we are unlikely to ever visit again. So....why would you do this? Why would you set up your business in this way? I suppose they'd rather hang onto the few returning customers who are willing to pay for the food (why?!) and those others who, like us, become their hapless victims the minute their children are mesmerized by all the flashing lights just inside the door. If it were me, I'd want to retain those customers only interested in the game room - half our overall charge was for games - but then what do I know? For whatever reason, John's Incredible Pizza doesn't want me back, and I think that's something I can live with. I'd give the place 3 stars overall, maybe even 4 if you weren't required to pay for the food, but since the disgusting buffet is mandatory, it's a 2-star joint.

We bought a sharing spree deal that we decided to use for the kids and also to check this place out. I had bought two sharing deals one each for the kids. The deal was $12 all you can eat buffet + $15 (worth 65 game credits). We mentioned the adults (Wife and I), are not going to play or eat, but they mentioned that we need to buy buffet purchase to enter. So we ended by buying two buffet tickets. We went early so not many people were there. Arcade: The kids enjoyed the Arcade, played Bumper carts(twice) and then Twister and bunch of other games. They finished all their credits within an hour or so. If you have enough money to spend, you can spend all the day in the arcade. Food: The All you can eat buffet consists of 5 bars Salad, Soups, Pasta, Pizza and Desserts. They had good selection of pizzas to choose from Nachos Pizza (never heard/seen), BBQ chicken , Macaroni Pizza( never heard/seen), Garlic pesto. Tried a few of them, personally i liked the Nachos pizza. Kids had Fettucine Alfredo, the pasta was kinda hard as it had been set on heat for a while. They also liked the Chicken soup. Breadsticks were their favorite. They also enjoyed the Cheesecake, cookies, apple crisp from the Dessert bar. They liked the icee. The staff was courteous in giving us a glass of milk when my kids asked for it. Overall excellent fun place for kids. Would i go there again, definitely Yes. With a groupon/sharing spree deal it is definitely a great deal.

I went for the first time with my husband and son a few weeks ago. It was the middle of the week at around 5pm, so it wasn't busy at all. Infact it was pretty dead. There was only a handful of other people there. We liked that there were multiple rooms you could sit in with all different themes. The buffet was kind of empty. I imagain it was because of the lack of people there. The pizza wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I didn't eat any of the pasta, but some of it looked like it had been sitting there for hours untouched. My son was very excited that they had Icee's. The dessert bar was majorly lacking compaired to other buffets I have been too. Cookies were stale, brownies hard, cake hard around the edges and the cheese cake was just nasty. The game area is the best part of the place. We had a blast on the bumper cars. There were a ton of games and they didn't cost as much credit as most arcades do. We had the $25 card we shared between the 3 of us and it still took us 1.5 hours to use it up. We will end up going again some day, but it wont become a regular thing due to the price. I would like it better if you got to choose the amount you put on the card. $25 is just to much for us. I think $10-$15 would be more than enough.

We wanted to do something small this year for my sons 11th birthday. We didn't want to spend a lot of money but we wanted him to still have a great time with a few of his friends where he could still have a party, eat and play games. He was to old for Chucky Cheese and didn't want to do the bowling thing at Big Als. So we decided to check out this place we had heard of from another parent Johns Incredible Pizza. She told us this was like Chucky Chesse but only on a bigger scale and it was as much fun for the kids and their parents. So we checked out the website which even peeked our curiousity even more. So we called some family members to meet us there, gathered up my son and a few friends and headed out. Holy crap!!! The parking lot was packed and we were afraid we would have a hard time finding a place to sit for all of us. Like line to gewt in was long too but it moved somewhat quickly but gave us enough time to fill our visual senses and excite our inner child. If I were to describe this place, I would ssy it was like Swwet Tomatos meets Chucky Cheese on Steroids. On one side were four separate dining rooms with themes and several TV's in each could handle enough room for any party. After settling down the kids took off for the game room and we went to check out the 4 separate buffets each catagorized. 1.) Salad Bar - Very impressed, lots of fresh everything here. 2.) Pizza Bar - Wow. Lots of new and creative ideas and mot bad I might add. Get small slices so you'll have room to try a few other pieces including a " spicy peanut butter pizza". You gotta try it. 3.) Potato and Pasta Bar - Looked great but I had tried to many slices of pizza. 4.) Desert Bar - Not being a big lover of sweets I went straight for the yogart machine. My inner child couldn't wait any longer, and was excited to check on the boys with my brother-in-law and see how they where doing in the game room. As we approached the room I felt as though I were entering the lobby of a casino in Vegas. So many lights, so many people and so many games and rides. All I could think of was wanting to be 12 yrs old again, but then as I looked around I saw all these parents playing too. I think some weren't even parents they just came to eat and play. We found the boys and decided to challange them on the bumper cars. There was so much to do that there were never any real lines. It was a blast!!! My brother-in-law and I had a ball it was the boys verses the men and about five 4 and 5 yr old girls ready to rumble. I never had so much fun on bumper cars before. We got there at 6 and didn't realize it was almost 10 when we left. My inner child says we will have to find an excuse to come back here even if we have to drag mom with us.

The food is pretty good, the games are fun and made me and my wife feel like kids again. I like the fun card option instead of getting tickets. I am a VIP card member and this thats a good deal...the more you go the more free stuff you get type of thing. Very popular place!

This is a buffet restaurant that has five dining rooms, each having a different theme. There is also a very large area for games, and seperate party rooms for children's parties. The buffet has a salad, pizza, pasta and dessert bar. They sell beer and wine. The salad bar was pretty average. Pizza was OK. It was nice that the pizza was cut in small pieces so that I could try several kinds. I tried the Mac & Cheese, and it wasn't good. The best item I tried was at the dessert bar. They make their own tiny doughnuts, which were warm, crisp and bite size. The restaurant was nice, clean and had wheelchair accessible restrooms. Johns' Incrediable Pizza appears to be more for families, and teens out on a group date. Because lunch during the weekday is at a lower price, there were adults, seniors and working people. One of the dinning rooms has a sports theme, which seems to appeal to men who want to watch sports at lunch on big screens. I will go to Izzy's next time. There food is much better,

be prepared to spend some money really fast. if you haven't read yet, the buffet is required to get in. i paid for the most expensive credit package they had. i ended up spending $55 for myself and 2 boys. which isn't bad considering everything included. the food itself is basic in flavor and selection. pizza , pasta, salad, dessert, drinks. not horrible. not fantastic. the service was actually pretty good for high school aged employees. they were all very friendly and ready to answer any questions. the waiter was very prompt at collecting the empty dishes which is all that is required of him since it was a buffet. the video game area was all the kids were looking forward to. we spent a few hours in there. the twister ride did require an adult on the ride with the kids. i was a little bummed since i wanted to take their pictures, but i did get to experience the ride with them and crank that thing up (it's like the tea cup ride where you spin the table in the middle to spin faster). for you ticket collectors, the incredi-bear and friends did a dance number. at the end of it, employees from behind threw out hundreds of free tickets all over the floor. i don't know how often it happens, but you can't go wrong with free tickets. of course my kids love the ticket eater machine after all the fun is done. all in all, we had a fun day. we spent a few hours there just hanging out. the kids were actually hungry again after playing so they went back for seconds. great staff. very positive atmosphere for families.

Update - I'm going to give this place a bit of a better review upon returning. The pizza remains awful. However, my kids love this place. I've found that if you order your own pizza so that it has normal toppings and is actually warm, the pizza is at least edible. The pizza buffet is far from incredible and far closer to inedible. Again, it is almost as if they're trying to make bad pizza.

We were so excited to visit this place with our Sharing Spree purchase and we were not disappointed. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not crowded at all. Our whole family ate and drank until we were full then headed over to the game section. What a blast we had as a family playing games, earning tickets, and riding the bumper cars together. (my kids are 10, 7, and 7) We enjoyed using the cards to play the games so we didn't have to hold a bunch of tickets and we could reload the card with more credits if we wanted. Everything about this place is FUN! Thanks to the Sharing Spree deal I'm not sure our family could have afforded such a wonderful afternoon together. Thank you Sharing Spree and Johns Incredible Pizza for a great family day!

we went to john's incredible pizza using our sharing spree, the food here was great! much better then i expected!! the game/play area looked like a lot of fun, but it was too overwhelming and loud for my 3.75year old and supprisingly he didnt like any of the rides (he is very adventuresome so this was a supprise) we will go back probably in a few years though--or without the kids

Please reconsider going here unless you have kids. This would easily be 4-stars if I was 6. The food selection was tolerable. Salad bar consisted of two shades of plain lettuce with around 30 toppings and a couple of pre-made salads (potato, pesto pasta, etc.) that were not stellar but edible. The pasta station had what really amounts to out-of-the-box pasta dishes that were hit and miss, plus some plain pasta with a selection of 4 sauces. Try a small amount before you commit to a huge plate. The pizzas were the best thing they had, similar to Little Caesars if I had to make a comparison. Cheap but decent dough, very little cheese or sauce, tablespoon of toppings for the whole pizza. The breadsticks made from this dough were probably the best thing we had. Dessert was not worth it. Cheesecake tasted like cheese, or at least not cheesecake. Cookies out of a tube, basic frozen dairy dessert ice cream stuff. The game playing area was loud, but they had a decent selection of arcade fare. Dance Dance Revolution game, various shooting games, about 80% ticket games, just like every other arcade nowadays. Couple of rides that looked like fun for kids. The prizes looked nice but we didn't stick around to win anything after our meal. I felt kinda sick afterward because I didn't opt to get the $1.75 unlimited drink thing, and there were no water fountains available, and water had to be specifically asked for. I've been to a lot of places like this before, but this is the first time I ever felt trapped inside one with nothing exciting to do. However, I would still recommend considering this place to those that have kids, as I saw quite a few happy ones while I was stumbling around after I gorged myself. At least it was clean!

This is truly as good as it gets for an all you can eat pizza and salad bar. The arcade is lovely and the games actually work. You don't have a hundred little ragamuffins running around because entry requires buffet purchase. I love their salad bar. So many fresh healthy choices. The pizza is good, although I'm not a big pizza lover. You can request something special (exotic even) and the kitchen will make it, then page you when it is ready and being put out on the buffet. They have a half dozen or so themed dining rooms. One plays cartoons on one giant and several smaller screens. There is a log cabin theme and a sports theme, and a couple more. You will pay for the rides and games, but you can spend hours there and the price of the buffet is very reasonable. Eat a little, play a little, eat a little more... It's clean, it's safe, and it is so much fun for the kids who have outgrown Chuck E Cheese. I hope John's opens a location someplace near Seattle.

The food is NOT that bad. If you think it is, you've set your standards for a buffet WAY to high. My kids had a great time here, but there is no doubt we shelled out some major cash. True, the games are in good working order and give out tickets but you'll pay more than Chuckie or Safari Sams. I also felt that we didn't get our money's worth at the buffet because you can't have food near the gaming area (which I understand). We had the kids go through the buffet again before we left. In terms of a party, I recommend it for older kids say, 6 or older. Our party of 3 and 4 year olds were a bit overwhelmed. It's an expensive party and you never feel like you had someone "planning" your party. It was very stressful because every employee you talk to can help you with planning and then the day of your party you get a different story. For instance, the first day I inquired they told me 8 kids was the minimum party, turns out it's 10. Day of the party they inform me that kids stay in the party room until the conclusion of the party (1.5 hours). Ya, that's not going to fly. "Hey kids we're gonna lock you up in this room while all that fun is going on out there!" The good news is the happily cut out party games so that the kids could play. Other disappointing factor was that the game cards the kids got had $5 on them. Really? The kids blew threw them in minutes and I felt like a cheapo! Even though I paid over $200 for the party. It was a bummer because parents of kids invited either have to pay their own entry or you have to pay for them. We decided to pay because you can't have a drop off party of 3 and 4 year olds. Bottom line, this would be a better party place for older kids so that you didn't have to pay for parents and siblings of guests. And John's should really reconsider what they are charging for what you're getting. Because of how expensive it is I can see my family of five only going once, maybe twice a year. If they were a bit more flexible I would have rated it higher based on concept and fun factor.
