Had the Super Sub. It was ok but kinda bland. My wife ordered a Club Sub which she enjoyed but we found that they forgot the bacon. Naturally we didn't realize this until we were home so there wasn't much we could do. Better than Subway, but that's not saying much. We didn't have any problem with the employees. They were a bit slow, but friendly.

Horrible service. Ill be politically correct. The two gentlemen working carred more about the game on tv than me the customer. They got the order wrong right in front of me. This place needs to be careful or it wont last long with the service and high prices they have.

Another awesome sub shop. I got the club, and it was delicious. All the meat and cheese is freshly cut. You only have a choice of white or wheat bread but it seems to be freshly baked everyday. Great service as well!

I went back. Without Togos, this is the best sandwich shop we've got up here. Service has been good since that one really bad night and the sandwiches are always good.

Really good sandwiches. They cut the meats and cheeses fresh for each sandwich. I'm always really impressed by how nice and friendly the employees are! Be sure to sign up for their e-club. I get coupons emailed to me every week or so, plus - you get a coupon for a free sandwich and soda on your birthday!! They've always accepted my coupons... But be sure you read them. The coupons are usually only good for a day or two!

Number 13 Mikes Way. Cannot be beaten in Portland. Friendly staff, fresh sliced meats. Yummy.

I have only posted a very positive review on Yelp, so the bar for a negative review is set very high. But my experience at Jersey Mike's managed to hit that bar and then some. First, my wife and I had a coupon we clipped that day. The counterperson and her manager refused to accept it, saying it started the next day. However, there was no indication of that on the coupon. The manager said it was there in big letters. I asked him to look at the coupon and show me, but he couldn't find that piece of information. Still, they were adamant. No coupon. OK, so we went ahead with the order anyway. I got the chicken parm sub and took it home. It smelled a little funny, like wet dishrag, but I took a few bites. It was bad. And the chicken was tough and stringy. I threw the rest away. Can't remember the last time I threw away an order of food. My wife had the philly cheese steak sub and managed to finish it, but was not impressed. Have to say this may very well be the worst sandwich in all of Portland. Deceptive business practices and bad food is an unfortunate combination. If I were the state of New Jersey, I'd sue for defamation.

Not worth the value. The sandwiches are good. And the meat is cut fresh as you order it. However 2 sandwiches only one of them being a meal came to basically $20.00. I'm pretty sure this is why quiznos are starting to disappear. They had great food but their prices were too high. Its a sandwich folks... Its nothing special.

This new Jersey Mike's location on Scholls Ferry and Nimbus recently just opened up and I got a coupon that they passed out to local businesses for a free sub in exchange for a donation to check it out. The subs were a solid 4 stars, reasonably priced, and the whole place reminds me a lot of Jimmy John's. The deli slicer they're using for the meat is certainly a bonus and they're generous with their toppings. The line was pretty long, but it went quickly. I think it took around 10 minutes total to get through it. They also have online ordering to speed things up. The people there are great and friendly. One worker later came up to me to check up to see if everything was good. One thing I was disappointed about was the fact that there's plenty of room for outdoor seating but there was none. Food: 4 Service: 5 Ambiance: 4 Value: 4 TL;DR: Good subs, already very popular so it's busy during lunch time

Having never been to a Jersey Mike 's we went in when I received a voucher for a free Birthday sub and drink. The place was really clean and the employees were super friendly as well. We got a cold sub and had it done "Mikes Way", I don't usually like the oil and vinegar option on my sandwiches but it was fantastic I may even try my Sammie's that way more often. Its a nice little place fresh and flavorful I will definitely be back.

Ordered a kids meal. Daughter wanted warmed. Guy manning counter refused to oblige.....nor could you get pastrami. There is a grill right behind you......but apparently it is too hard to oblige. In a deli? To make your own sandwich??? Thanks robot mike, I have marked you off my list

Good food for sure!! I order a #7 turkey and provolone Mike's way and I was really tasty. The onions are sliced so thin it's just the right amount of onion. The red wine and vinegar is perfect. The crew was a bit of a let down. The young lady making the subs was not welcoming at all. She got the job done, but the customer service was lacking. I would come again if I was hungry and was driving by, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. For me the killer was the crew that was there on the 4th of July

BEAVERTON, OR: There are almost no chains that I can praise up to a five star rating, but Jersey Mikes is one of those chains (not all are worth five stars, but many are). This one doesn't get there, which is too bad. The service was slow but friendly. Their best hot sandwich is the chipotle cheese steak when it's made right, which is having the meat go evenly all the way to the ends of the bun. Also if you order the giant, they cut it into four equally sized pieces. This location didn't cut it, and the ends were just bread for like three inches on each side, so the edible part of the sandwich wasn't very giant.

oh boy. another sandwich shop that the guys at subway have to be scared for. While they may be the "top dog" there are a number of other places who are a lot better. Jersey mikes is one of them I had the #17. "Jersey mikes famous Philly" its one out of six of their toasted subs. I was surprised to see them cook the steaks to order on a grill behind the counter. No "precooked and then reheated inn a microwave" meat here. They also cook the onions and peppers with the meat, serve it on a toasted bread and wrap it in aluminum foil. The meat was tender and had some flavor like they seasoned the meat. Nice. Place was clean and service on a saturday evening was friendly. I'll go back again and maybe try a cold sub.

Awesome! I love their Philly Sandwich. and talk about customer service??? I joined up for the Birthday freebie and when they sent me a coupon for a free sandwich on my birthday, I wasn't going to be home! I was going to be out of state, so on a whim I emailed them back and told them that, and they asked me when I would be back and I told them, they then (same day) sent me back a NEW coupon for a freebie for the date I told them I COULD go!!! Cudo's to Jersey Mikes Customer service team!!! thank you!! thank you !!

We ordered the philly and it was terrible. Probably the worst sandwich I've eaten in a long while. If that is what a true jersey philly tastes like I will stay on the West Coast. This food make me doubt that east coast pizza is as good as they say. The sandwhich had zero seasoning. It was as bland as cafeteria food, except that I think cafeteria food would at least be seasoned with salt. Sorry Jersey Mike we wont be coming by again. I even went so far as to send the comment card it to their corporate headquarters in hope they may improve. With that said, the place was clean and the staff were pleasant, but isn't that an Oregon thing?

Continuing to be amazed at the great customer service, quality sandwiches, and cleanliness of this Jersey Mikes!! Last night we had a super sweet blonde gal and a tall funny dude taking care of us. The rewards card pays off too as we have been comped a few sandwiches. I'm actually looking forward to going again today!

I work down the street from these guys. When they first opened, the manager came in and handed out some great coupons. I pulled out my "buy one regular sub, get the second free" and headed down there. I was eager to try a new place as I was pretty burned out on all the places to eat on Scholls Ferry. I had ordered by phone before heading over there so when I arrived, it was ready and waiting for me. I also got an unsweetened ice tea as I heard their tea is amazing. Upon checkout, I noticed they had my favorite cookies: macadamia nut. Bought 3 of those also. When I got back to work and opened my Turkey/provolone sub, it had bacon on it... Eeeeeck, don't like bacon. :( wondering if I got the wrong sub? I managed to pick off the bacon and was pleasantly surprised at how tasty and flavorful the sub was. They season it and add thinly sliced onion which give it a real flavor boost. It wasn't bland like some other popular sub shops out there. I was also surprised at the size of their "regular" sub. Luckily, they had cut it in half as I was full after half the sub. So far so good. The ice tea was EXCELLENT. No bitterness at all. Probably the best ice tea I've had in a long time. Glad I had bought the large size As far as the cookies: Hmmmm, not the best. The macadamia cookies were full of nuts (good) but had an odd flavor I just didn't like. (bad) I won't get those again. Except for the mix up with the sandwich and the cookies, I really liked this place and will be back......... especially for their yummy ice tea.

The Italian sub was nothing special. It tastes like something that can be easily made at home. Their vegetable selection is lacking (lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and a few pickled items). I also wish they had a whole grain bread option. I prefer Subway to this place.

The hubs and I went in to try this since I was in the area and in the mood for a sandwich. First I wanted a hot roast beef, since they have a roast beef sandwich and a grill, I figured they could do that. Nope! Cold sandwiches can only be made cold. Ok, then I'll get a cheesesteak. More like a Mis-Steak. Gummy bread. Cheap salty cheese. Cheap salty, dry meat. I could only eat about a third of my sandwich. And that is saying a lot since I rarely leave food on my plate. Also, the restaurant was dirty. Food all over the tables, crumbs and napkins on the floor, spilled drinks at the dispenser. All-in-all a really bad experience - I won't be back.

For me the secret to enjoying the crap outta Jersey Mike's was a program of excess ~ think, if I were in Jersey, what would I order? A semi healthy turkey sub? No! A nice tuna salad? Hell, no! I ordered a GIANT BIG KAHUNA PHILLY which is a $12.95 monster! This foot & 1/2 long, forearm-sized sub was smothered in onions, peppers, jalapenos and EXTRA cheese. Served piping hot with tons of super tasty soft cheese steak. Drool. Just like Homer Simpson I ate on that sub for days. I shared it with like 3 other people and still had a couple of servings left. (One little pieces is still calling my name from the fridge as I write this). Go & get something super duper bad for you. It's good to be bad.

I am in this place at least once a week. I have different sandwiches every time and I like every one of them. No complaints, good prices, and it is a very consistent product. I also consider myself a sandwich snob. Architecture of a sandwich to me is the key to success, this is easy to eat and does not fall apart. Plus they taste delicious.

In terms of sheer volume and enormity, Jersey Mike's is in a league by itself. Carrying a sack full of these little monsters out of there felt every bit like carrying a big, heavy bag loaded w/groceries out to the car. My poor, unsuspecting motor vehicle, reeling from the extra weight, got about 6 fewer miles to the gallon for the jaunt back to work. "Yo, chucklehead," you may be wondering, "This is food review, not a grocer nor an auto mechanics/engineering review, remem-buh? So. What about the taste? The t-a-s-t-e of them groceries?" The group verdict was positive in the main. The hot sandwiches were nearly all excellent (we had the #56 Big Kahuna, the #43 chipotle cheese steak and Jersey Mike's Famous Philly, as well as the #20 Reuben. Only the Reuben we didn't much care for. If I really have to pay $12 for a Reuben, I'd take Kenny and Zuke's version anytime. Sometimes less is so much more. This location has only been open for about 3 months, and we will definitely be checking out more of their menu... although the numbering system they use is a bit confusing. The numbers skip around and ahead in seemingly random order. The one glaring weakness I found @ Jersey Mike's is the bread. Some people may love it here; if I'm gonna commit the sin of bread, I wanna make those carbs count, capisce? This gigando bread was surprisingly insubstantial and obviously comprised mainly of (eek! eek!) unrefined white flour---- which of course has become the newfangled tobacco in our culture. Mike's does offer each of their sandos in a salad format--- given the inauspcious name of "sub in a tub", and resembles something like those "lunchables" w/cold cuts 'n' crackers served in a single-sized sushi tray, but the tub has an extra compartment for iceburg lettuce! Oh boy! "Lunchables--- now w/ iceburg! (patent pending)" Apparently Jersey Mike's does offer delivery, but only on orders of $100 or more. The good news is, you drop that much moolah @ this place, and you will have enough food to feed a veritable army! Anyone going hungry at your catered party, w/Jersey Mike's on the menu? Yo, fuh-getabowdit.
