What a hidden gem. Their dining room is doing them Zero favors, but just sit down and bear with me. This is some seriously fresh food they are cooking here. The dishes I tried (Came once for lunch and dinner) were the garlic sauce fish dish (16-18 bucks if I remember), and some sort of garlic chicken with veggies dish. Both (especially the fish) had sauces that were bursting with flavor. I got that hearty, tongue coating umami flavor with both dishes. The waitstaff consisted of one lone sweetheart of a Thai woman. She spoke very broken English, but was so spot on with service. She would kind of hide away and wait for just the right moment to approach the table, and was always very gracious and friendly.

Pretty solid food. Considering this is one of the only Thai places on the Oregon coast, I'd come here again. The portion size was great. Make sure to ask for spice if you like spicy Thai.

I had the basil lamb curry and it was so tasty and delicious! Service was great too! My dish was on my table in what seemed like a few minutes! I'll be coming back to try another dish.

Stopped in here on way home from surfing. Food is great and big portions. They only need better hot tea! Definitely the place to go if you've got a craving for Thai.

Had the beef phad see ew 4 stars of heat and it is in the top 2 of all that I have had and its the only thing I eat at Thai resturants because it is the best dish ever. The beef was tender, juicy, and fresh but that is not what defines this dish. The noodles were the perfect size, texture, and cooked perfectly. The sauce was sweet and salty and had perfect flavor. It was not too oily, just the right amount. The heat was enough to make my nose run which is what 4 stars is supposed to be. I finished the plate and had to talk myself out of ordering another one just to take home. Thank you Blue Ocean Thai for making my day!

Not the best Thai food... The green curry with tofu was okay, but did not stand out. Rice was clumpy, and the overall flavor bland. The Yakisoba with shrimp was poor. The shrimp did not taste fresh and had poor texture. My wife could not finish her dish. The veg spring rolls tasted store-bought and not fresh made.

Seriously best Thai food and great service. Ginger chicken was amazing, vegetables were very fresh and full of flavor, chicken was well prepared. Loved basil fresh rolls with peanut sauce. Everything was well prepared. Hope to come again if we're in Astoria.

Will definitely be returning. Passed this place a few times and always said that I wanted to stop by, really glad I did. Went here for lunch with a good friend and we both thoroughly enjoyed our food. I actually ate my appetizer so fast I didn't have time to take a picture, but I always get crispy tofu at every restaurant I go to... Some places do it right, others not so much. The tofu was cut into little triangles and had just the perfect amount of crisp and chewiness. The sweet chili sauce with ground peanuts was a nice addition. My friend ordered the Fresh Basil Rolls for her appetizer and enjoyed it with the peanut dipping sauce. The only comment she made was the rolls she is accustom to eating uses thinner noodles, but otherwise good. When she asked for hot sauce, the server brought a nice tray of various spices and sauces which was nice. As for our main dish, I ordered the spicy noodles with tofu (as I am vegan), and my friend ordered the red curry with chicken. When I asked my friend how she liked her curry, she showed me her empty plate and said, "What do you think?" My noodles were a really nice texture, chewy but not too chewy. Also note, the flat noodles are massive! The spice was the perfect amount, I love spicy food but nothing that is going to kill my taste buds or make my nose run. Really, really good food. I also had a Thai iced tea, can't go wrong with that. Overall I am really happy with this place, and I plan on coming back with my husband. I'm glad I stopped by and checked out the food because I really enjoyed everything that I ordered. The server was very polite, attentive, and very quick to bring everything out.

This little gem was kind of a hard to find place. It's near a arcade and food market. The decor was bland and boring. So I ordered chicken satay and a coconut soup. It took nearly twenty minutes until the chicken arrived and then came the soup. The chicken was nice and tender it came with a peanut sauce and pickled cucumbers to clean your palette. Then I started on the soup it sweet yet sour with a citrus finish. It was the best soup that I had ever have in my life diff entry recommend the Thai basil coconut soup. The waitress was very kind and helpful she spoke broken up English but still understandable. The chef was her husband who was working in the back.
