I have always loved root beer and while their famous root beer floats taste just like root beer floats to me, it is still worth the time to come, sit down, and get a meal here. Mmm... I kind of want a hamburger now! Additionally, as a side note in response to what secret shopper Sarah J. said, if they told you they closed at 8 and you showed up at 7:55 with two children to get three root beer floats... that's just rude. You could have waited until the next day (or gone earlier) and received much better service. Those people had just done full shifts and wanted to go home to be with their families (or with their friends), but you clearly felt as though your evening was more important than theirs... and I feel sorry for the employees because of it.

Simply one of the best burgers in town. Can be a bit of a wait sometimes, buts worth it. Fries are great, they come unsalted which we like. The folks who run the place are awesome too!

The service alone by the owner and his wife was OUTSTANDING. We are new to TUlsa and love to try out Mom and Pop places. This is exactly the kind of place we are looking for. Great service with a smile and charm. EXCEPTIONAL root beer and great burgers FRIES are FANTASTIC. We will be back monthly!

The root beer float is definitely the star of the show at this little joint, but the burgers are not shabby either. If you are looking for the touristy chain burger joint, this is not your place, but if you are searching for a hometown star you need to visit Weber's. also, any restaurant with counters and no tables has to be good!

$13 for a half pound cheese burger and medium root beer float (no fries or onion rings). When I asked if they could top off my float before I left, they wanted to charge me almost a dollar more. Seriously?! To be fair, the burger was good, but I'm sticking with Brownie's at 21st and Harvard. Much better service, better price and better product.

This is the best root beer that you will ever have. It's definitely worth checking out just for that. That being said, the food is kind of expensive for just burgers and fries and the service is a little slow.

This is by far the best root beer float I have ever tasted. The root beer is served in the traditional frosty glass mug, complete with frothy ice crystals. Are you familiar with the slogan "barq's has bite!"? Well, Barq's has nothing on Weber's. There is a distinctive spicy after flavor to their root beer. The rich custard like vanilla ice cream they use for the float complements the bold flavor of the root beer perfectly. I have yet to sample any of their food, because every time we go, there is a wait for food (it must be good). I'll update you once I've gained the patience to wait for food :-)

They do have great "real" rooty root beer and the best chicken tenders, but I was very disappointed when I bought a 6 pack or bottled root beer to take home and within a couple days they were NOT fizzy like they shoudl be! Big bummer!!!

Best burgers and root beer ever. Cheap as hell and really tasty. This place is a Tulsa icon and there's not really much more that needs to be said except that you should go there immediately.

Way overpriced for the portion sizes on everything but potato products, had a 1/2lb chili burger and it was 2 pre frozen patties, cheap american cheese, and chili bowl chili from sams. If you're looking for the best burgers in Tulsa this is not the place. 2 burgers, 2 ries and 2 small drinks came to just over $32. We could habe had a better lunch almost anywhere in town for that price.

I went here with my family and we were shocked at the prices. We recently went on a tour of all of the other old hamburger stands in the tulsa area, and they were all affordable and excellent. We paid the high prices and loved the root beer, but the burger and onion rings were lacking.

I love the root beer. It's a find memory I have of me and my dad going to get Webers floats and burgers. I personally love the sausage burger. It's just good old fashioned American burgers. Not healthy, but that's what makes it taste good. Don't leave without buying some root beer to take home!

A true Tulsa institution! Homemade grease burgers, house-made root beer, and the best root beer float on the face of the planet. What other reasons do you need? I challenge to to find any other place that still makes is own root beer. This place is a great place to have a meal that will make you feel like a kid again.

Meh burger, nasty fries, and it's a Pepsi place. Walk across the street and eat at Claud's for a more tasty experience.

    (1)
  • Stephen W.

The burgers are really, really good here. If I had to compare it just by the burger alone I'd probably give a slight edge to Claud's across the street, but when you throw in Weber's homemade root beer, it's a total game changer. It's really tough to beat a place when they have the whole package like Weber's does. Get yourself a burger (A-), some tots, and a root beer float (A++) and enjoy the high from that experience the rest of the day.

Been eating here since I was a young boy. Best rootbeer on the planet. Frosty mug old school greatness. Great fresh hand cut french fries and onion rings. Chilli cheese burger and sausage burger is bomb! Small dinning area and super slow due to cook to order but well worth the wait.

Stopped by Weber's while visiting my mom from out of town. Used to be a favorite spot to eat when I was a kid living in Tulsa. Burgers are still tasty and like I remember from my childhood, and I love the root beer float. Tip: If you're extra hungry, you may want to get a double patty (this is true everywhere, so don't complain if you're still hungry if you didn't buy enough food to fill you up). Yes there is a Sonic across the street which also serves burgers and root beer floats, but there are sonics in most cities. Wouldn't you rather support local and get an experience you can't get at a nationwide chain? When possible, I would. Weber's is a truly Tulsa experience, so stop by for some food / root beer floats!

We're always pleased with the food & service here at Weber's. I love that it's a family run establishment. So, they seem to take pride in what they do. Sometimes it may take awhile for your food. But, it's always worth it. Tip: 1 order of tater tots is enough to feed 2-3 people.

  • Anna F.

20 minutes for a hamburger? Seriously? This is THE most time I have ever waited for food. In my opinion, the food better be the best tasting ever for that long of wait. It's just not worth my time otherwise. They are in the running for the BEST hamburger in Tulsa....I take the wait into consideration.

Just read the name and you will not go wrong. You go here for THE root beer and you get THE root beer like nowhere else on earth. A Webers root beer float is almost a religious experience, especially on a hot, steamy afternoon. You don't get anything even close to this at ANY chain, anywhere! Food IS a bit of an afterthought and does take a while due to the limited space available for a grille and is priced at a premium for average quality except for the tater tots. {which are a must have to got with your float } One of the few remaining places to get an authentic grease burger which is sad, but they just miss the markj. With Root Bear of this incredible quality, I suppose that it makes it very tough to have THE best of everything.

  • Charlie D.

Great root beer. I don't understand why they feel they need to price their food and drinks so high but it's good for a one time stop.

We were the first people they served at 11am on a Thursday. Thank goodness we were! The line was out the door within 20 minutes. GREAT root beer. Way better than anyone I've ever had. Main chef was the co owner and his daughter. Salt of the earth. Good food and drinks. (Don't come with a party of five if you insist on air conditioning because there is extremely Limited seating!

Best. Burgers. On. The. Planet. No lie. Get it standard - mustard pickles and onions only. I prefer the smaller sized, single-patty cheeseburgers, but they're all just as good regardless of size. The root beer is also the best you'll find ANYWHERE, so you must get that if you go. My girlfriend likes the cheese tater tots, but I'm good with regular tots or fries just the same. Incredibly delicious food made by the family of the man that invented the modern day hamburger (previous hamburgers were served on toast, not a bun) right here in Oklahoma.

Weber's is a Tulsa staple for a good, no, GREAT burger, fries and root beer float! I can get away with saving a few bucks (and calories) by ordering a small burger and root beer for less than $5. The menu is comprised with options of a small, medium or larger burger (w/cheese or not,) fries, onion rings, chili stuff, and of course... root beer!!!!! Best root beer in town, you guys. GET IT. The kitchen is clean and the service is friendly. My complaint lies with the fact they close a lot of days at 5pm... Too early for the dinner plans!

  • Steve R.

The Root Beer is AMAZING! Five stars for sure. I even bought a few bottles to take home for later. The food didn't quite live up to my expectations after hearing they serve the 'BEST' Burgers in Tulsa. That is a bold statement... The burger was good, for sure; however, it was not the best burger I've had in Tulsa. Also, the Fries and Onion Rings were fairly bland and in much need of some extra seasoning despite them being made by hand. The wait time for our small order was a little excessive, but it was a nice day to sit outside and wait while drinking some great Root Beer.

This is my second visit. They're good, not over the top but it gets the job done. I got their cheeseburger, fries & root beer freeze. Their freezes are good! It's like root beer float but blending, with the texture like soft serve. I should've gotten a bigger size. The burger was good. Packed down to have all of the flavors within itself to have the full experience when you take a bite. Definitely has the "off the grill" taste, which is a good thing. The fries were ok as well. I wish they would've had something like bbq sauce or something outside of ketchup. I was looking forward to trying the sausage burger (per website) but it's not on the menu when you visit the place. Wasn't disappointed but that would've been good to have/see. Also, Rick, who was possibly the manager/owner of the spot was very very VERY nice. There was a car in front of me waiting on their order, he came outside to take my order so it have to be such a wait. Also, he made sure my order was correct at least 2-3 times (which it was when my food was given to me) & that's a plus. I liked the jacket he was wearing as well. I should've asked if they ever thought about selling merch because I would like to buy/wear one.

Traditional tasting old fashion burgers. They were good, not great. A bit over priced IMO.However, if you go on their website you can print out coupons and save a lot! This place has awesome onion rings! Great cruch, well seasoned and huge portions. Root beers were amazing!!!

  • Heather H.

The rootbeer is great but stick with just a rootbeer bc the sonic across the street has the exact same burger for a little cheaper. Seriously, the worst burger ever with a nasty thin whimpy little patty. Pretty big let down. Plus, long John silvers offers at 51st & Harvard has just as good rootbeer but A & W brand.

As a living piece of culinary history, I certainly had high hopes for Weber's since they still make their hamburgers on the original griddle that INVENTED the modern hamburger as we know it ...a meat patty on a bun. Well, you'd think the BUN would be something special, huh? Nope, just you average standard baked store bought bun but burger was still good and tasty. 1 order of fries was plenty but had an odd taste like the oil was a bit old, a little soggy but still very editable. The root beer was absolutely delicious, not too sweet with complex flavors and definitely homemade. I got the root beer float that came in a small frosted mug, nice touch.Cost about $9 bucks. Nice friendly folks but you can't miss the IN GOD WE TRUST sign prominently displayed. I'll be back at least for a homemade root beer and to revel in one of Tulsa's claim to fame.

I grew up on Weber's. Every time I come home to Tulsa for the holidays I make sure to hit it up. Onion rings weren't as good as I remember, but still a very solid burger joint (make sure to get a root beer float).

Best root beer I've ever tried, and I love the burgers, too. They're simple and just the right size. Get a root beer float! Also I like the atmosphere - it's small, family-run, and also has a drive-through.

I'm not sure I've ever been treated as rudely at a restaurant as I was tonight at Weber's. I was a secret shopper for hundreds of restaurants for 5 years and never had such a poor customer service experience. I didn't get the chance to experience the actual food because of being treated rudely. We called at 7:40 to ask what time they close and she said 8, so the kids and I high tailed it over there and arrived at 7:55 to have some rootbeer floats. I had a groupon to use and groupon's site wouldn't load. The doors were locked (with us inside) before 8, and at 1 minute till, when my app wouldn't load the groupon I thought of re-starting my phone, but they told me to pay cash or get out. Based on the snarky comments I received while watching the app just load over and over but go nowhere, I decided that I'd rather not give them any of my money. Be warned, when they say they close at 8, they mean they will stare you down, make rude comments, then kick your butt to the curb or lock you out if you don't have your cash in their till at 7:59. Eek. If I had been treated with respect while waiting for the app to load I would have told them to go ahead and make the food and if the app didn't finish loading by the time the food was done, I'd just pay... but I never got the chance. So, I won't be going back because of how I was treated. Kinda hoping groupon gives me my money back since its because of their site issues that it all happened. What a waste of 30 minutes driving in the car... My kids left in tears that we drove all that way and then were treated in such a curt/short manner by the owners (I'm guessing...). Next time I'll just stick with what I know: I'll go to Arnold's at 51st/Hwy 75, and have a great greasy burger, milkshake, and fries and be treated like one of the family.

The burgers here are pretty good, but it's no secret that what shines about this place is the root beer! Its a Tulsa fave! And fun little tidbit, it's not Weh-bers like you think, it's Wee-bers.

This is your quintessential Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives spot. You can tell not a lot has changed in decades. Yum. - Not a lot of seating...only a few barstools inside, and a few tables outside, but it seems most people take it to go (or eat it in their cars). - They take credit/debit cards - Not a lot of choices - but everything is well done. - The root beer is so yummy, so crisp, so smooth, and so refreshing! - Get a root beer float - Burgers are pretty good -- not spectacular by any means Overall, I like it and I'll go back when in Tulsa.
