Terrific food, just what the doctor ordered. Started out with their crab cakes which are delicious follow by their red corn breaded chicken. Very seldom that you find a place where the food is soo tasty. Definitely worth the money.

This visit was well past overdue. I finally got to try their brunch & was far from disappointed. I started off with two drinks: a mimosa & Four Berry Margarita. The mimosa doesn't differ from any other one you could get at any place, but the Four Berry Margarita is easily a top 5 margarita on my all-time list. It's sweet enough to where you can't taste the liquor, it's a good & bad thing, depending how many you plan on consuming. My dish, the Bacon Frittata. A 3-egg, open face omelette with bacon, potatoes, spinach, scallops & cheese. Very savory. Also, it may not seem like it's a lot but I took forever to finish it! & I was starving! The fruit was good & I really didn't care for the biscuit (even though I recommend to try it with their syrup). They weren't selfish with the bacon & potatoes melt in your mouth. Very cheesy as well. With this being my first time having a frittata, I'd have it this way than an actual omelette.

My previous review says this is the best brunch place in town. I would have to say this is not the case anymore. First, we got sat at a wonky table so wonky my coffee spilled when my husband out put his elbows on the table. Then the waitress, was talking to another waitress while pouring the water and missed the glass completely. The food was okay, not great. It took a long time to get our food, we were not offered bread. As soon as our food was brought out the check was put down. I finished my food first and she took my plate, which is rude. Then she didn't come back for such a long time we had to flag someone else down to find her so we could pay. Won't be going back here for quite some time.

I CRAVE the Wild Caesar! Love it! My cousin & I recently went for lunch at The Wild Fork & were not disappointed. Megan had the Fusilli with steamed veggies. It was really really good-all the veggies were perfectly cooked. Nothing overdone. The Wild Fork is hard to beat. Someday soon my husband and I will try their dinner menu! Our waitress (Sara) has the sweetest personality (lovely girl too) and could not have been more attentive. OH! Get their iced green tea...you're welcome. I forgot one more thing--the bread is baked fresh and divine...

Wild fork has a wonderful patio setting with live music on Wednesday evenings. The servers are extremely attentive. Got to try the baby spinach salad with grilled chicken and Portabella mushrooms Yum

We showed up this morning for their brunch which I will have to review later as they were closed. No sign, no message, no info on the website, just closed. Maybe there will be a next time Wild Fork.

I have had lunch and breakfast here, and I have not been disappointed! The wild fork is the perfect place to enjoy a nice spring day as you dine outside in the shade, sip coffee or mimosas (your choice, both are delicious). If you're wanting to get out of the elements the inside is decorated well and is overall a very nice atmosphere. I always bring my friends here if they come to town, everyone seems to love it! For breakfast I recommend the taquitos. They are huge! Filled with veggies, sausage, egg, topped with sour cream and salsa provided. For lunch/ dinner I recommend the red cornmeal chicken with garlic potatoes. Oh my goodness, have I mentioned the portions are huge?! The chicken is perfectly crispy served with black beans, pico and cilantro sour cream. The garlic mashed potatoes are just decadent!! I always have coffee when I come, it's served with a small pitcher of half and half, in my opinion, it doesn't need any sugar. I love it! They're really good about keeping your cup full! A friend of mine had the salmon frittata and I was pretty jealous because it was delicious!!! I will be returning to the wild fork rather frequently. You should come too!

Went for breakfast with my wife at 7 and we were the second table there. Great atmosphere, quiet, elegant. Our waitress was excellent, fast, and really nice. My wife and I both got the wildfork hash for breakfast. Don't let the $10 price chase you away from it. Its easily worth a meal and and a half. We both brought left overs home and ate them for a late lunch. It came with 2 pieces of toast, 2 cheeses, an egg, red and green bell peppers, red and white onions, sausage and ham, and potato bites. Easily the best breakfast I've had so far in Tulsa.

I had lunch here with the missus last weekend. Without reservations wait time was 15-20 minutes, which is reasonable. I had the pork chop and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was a little rich but everything tasted good. I found the food quality and portions appropriate for the cost. My only complaint (if you could call it that) was that there was a lot of hoity-toity rich people in there, and we were more average folk. Our waiter didn't treat us with any less respect, though. If I was in Utica Square again I would have no problem eating there again, but I would first try some of the other restaurants in the area. I recommend Wild Fork.

So we go to wild fork for some breakfast as it is usually good. However, the service has always be sub par at best. Well, today it was absolutely horrible. It was around 9am and it was not very crowded at all. We were seated...waited...then waited...then waited someone...about 10-15 minutes before someone even came by to give us menus. So, we get the menus...then we waited...waited some more...then waited some more until after another 15 minutes of no server we finally got up and sought out a manager. Very politely we said that we were leaving because waiting 30 minutes for an order to be taken in a half empty restaurant is unacceptable. The sad thing is the manager didn't really seem to care and basically just said goodbye. So, like my other review said...come here if you want lousy service as they pretty much have the market cornered on that!

Initially promising, food was good. But, after an almost 2 hour dinner due to incredibly slow service, the simple verdict is there is nothing about the place worth giving up 2 hours of your life. It is off the list of places to go for me.

I am a New American Food Junkie. When I first moved back to Tulsa I remember sharing this meal with my wife and in-laws. I literally said at the meal that this was one of the best meals I had experienced in Tulsa. A little background to Wild Fork. Wild Fork is snuggled up in the midst of busy Utica Square, across from The Gap. You walk in and the environment is neat. It is actually the style my wife and I have in our home, so I am biased. The servers wear white button downs with ties of their choice. Fresh bread and butter is served upon being seated. Nice water glasses on the white table cloth make you think of a fine meal or perhaps even an award ceremony. The menu has been the same for a while as far as I can tell but they do have "specials". Being in the heart of Utica Square makes for a pretty regular devoted crowd. As of yesterday I am not as wild about the Wild Fork as I once was but I feel they can up their game and be the "it" place in no time. It just lacked a little pizazz that is the only way to put it. This is like ordering a stellar meal that just needs a pinch of salt, just a pinch. 3/5 stars is not bad but they could easily be a 4/5 with little to no effort at all. I will be back

My dad and I needed to run a couple errands in the Utica Square area earlier this week, so he suggested we stop for lunch at The Wild Fork. My dad has been there two or three times for lunch and always enjoyed it. It was evident that others do, too -- we arrived just at noon on a weekday and the place was packed. We decided to grab seats at the open bar for our lunch. Since we were seated at the bar, we figured we'd have a drink for lunch. My dad ordered a cab sav which he enjoyed. I decided to try the Mexican Mule -- their version of a Moscow Mule, which I've been quite obsessed with lately. Anything with ginger beer and I'm in! Their version used tequila and it was very tasty. I wonderful acidity with the lime juice and ginger beer. I think it's one of the better creative versions of Mules that I've had recently. For lunch, we each ordered a salad. My father had the wild caesar with grilled chicken. I didn't try it, but my dad shared that he thinks a good mark of a restaurant isn't necessarily when they have a creative menu, but when they can excellently execute traditional items. He said the Wild Fork achieved that mark with their caesar. I had the roasted chicken salad -- served over spinach. I thought it was quite good. I appreciated the sweetness from the peppers in the salad. One critique -- the salad is served with roquefort cheese. I could have used a bit more! I think I had approximately two crumbles on my salad. Since we had light salads, we decided to splurge and try a dessert. We ordered -- to share -- their mixed berry cobbler a la mode. It was wonderful! The cobbler crust had a biscuit-y, buttery quality to it. The ice cream served with it was wonderful as well. I've noticed a tendency sometimes at restaurants to serve a cheap or crappy ice cream, but this was a rich vanilla bean ice cream that complemented it well. Oh -- and the bread service! I should have started with that. We only ate the rolls but they were excellent as well. Warm and buttery! The restaurant is very bright with a lot of windows. They manage to squeeze quite a few tables into three small-ish rooms, so it can be a bit loud. But otherwise, great ambiance!

We went Sunday for my birthday brunch and waited 15 minutes after they were supposed to open only to realize they weren't going to open. No notice that they would be closed There were lots of other people waiting too. Not okay.

In short- it was an average experience. Nothing horrible, but nothing special that would make me want to go back or tell anyone about it. Went here for lunch one day when we were shopping at Utica square. Did not feel like leaving so we stopped here for lunch since we always pass this restaurant when we visited before. We also did not feel like stopping at a chain restaurant PF Changs or Oliver garden. The atmosphere is nice and a great place to go when you want to sit outside and enjoy the weather. When we went there the menu was very plain and didn't offer much selection. I wasn't sure if the menu was that way because it was lunch or it it always that way. The bar was very nicely set up and they had a nice selection. Any place with Moscow mules is always a favorite of mine. We ordered the Italian bread that was stuffed with olives, cheese, artichokes, etc. I thought it was decently good but really was not anything special. The food we orders was decently made but honestly nothing I would crave and make am effort to go back to. Overall the place was nice, but the experience was 85% because of the location and setting they have. The location is close to all the stores we enjoy and unless we are looking for a nice place to sit outside and enjoy drinks I really don't think I would go back here.

Rose is awesome! Best bartender. D server in Oklahoma! We were in town for my cousins wedding with nothing to do one afternoon. So we went to Utica Square and found this place to grab a couple drinks. Rose whipped up some amazing Manhattans and Mules. We would have tried the amazing looking food but he had just ate and were just drinking and watching some futbol. Great place to do all 3 of those things! See you next time we are in Tulsa.

We had a great group outing for breakfast at Wild Fork. This was the first time I've had their breakfast. I highly recommend the Wild Fork Hash. The service for our large group was pretty good as well. They kept us loaded up on coffee and drinks.

Saturday lunch on a sunny day. We say inside at a corner table with a nice view of the sidewalk. Nice host. Good waiter. Had the chicken sandwich and I thought it was really pretty darn good for the price. The jalapeño cole slaw was really really mundane I thought. Had a great drink, I think it was the chile-Rita. Terrific! My wife had the Szechuan spicy stir fry. Really nice amount of fresh vegetables. Strong flavors. Ordered "medium" spiciness, but it wasn't super spicy. We enjoyed our meal quite a bit and will be back (but will order it spicier next time!).

I have been to this restaurant many times. It used to be more hits than misses. But not as of late. My last stop, I went to the bar area to sit and have a drink and wait for the person I was meeting. The guy next to me drinking was a cook or something...he got up and went back to work when I sat down. The bartender handed me a menu and then went about his business. I had to stop him and ask him if I could get a Guinness. (out of a bottle btw). And then he never came back to take a food order or ask if I would like another drink. In fact I had to even ask for my check. Go to Bodeans or the Palace Café. They are so much better choices than this one. But then again, you better go soon...the way they are running things now they will not be in business much longer. Updated below... The owner wanted me to retry the restaurant. She offered to mail me a giftcard. This was about a month ago and no giftcard was sent. Nor was there an answer to any of my subsequent messages. Was hoping my last visit was maybe a mistake and was hoping to take her up on her offer and was ready to be impressed. make your own decision based on my two reviews.

It's ok. Like someone else said, "average". The patio seating is really great. The breakfast menu might be their best, although it is still "average". I stopped by yesterday for happy hour. I ordered the black bean appetizer dish, sub par. Their beer menu is ok; nothing local. I didn't peruse the wine menu but it looked extensive. Honestly I probably won't go back.

Finally went back to The Wild Fork after having a less than stellar experience the last time. The only reason we went back was the UNSOLICITED gift certificate they sent us after our review last time and we were disappointed once again. While the service was better this time the food was just as disappointing. The sausage omelet was drowned in canned jalapeño until there was no other flavor while my wife was served a beautiful LOOKING frittata that was completely dry inside and when we asked for a little salsa or pico to moisten it we were informed that there would be an extra charge for this even though we explained the reason.

Restaurant Week! We got there early around 6:30 and by 7:00 the restaurant was full. Service was excellent with a seasoned staff! This place has stood the test of time and I don't remember it being this good! I had Fried catfish with jalapeno cole slaw! It was lightly fried and fresh, not fishy. Recommend!!

I've been here about ten times. The brunch is amazing. 5 stars for the kitchen staff. The setting is quaint and charming. Another 5 stars for the setting. The wait staff is below par- slow and grumpy. 3 stars for the servers. I keep going back for the frittatas because they are that good and just mentally prepare for the poor service.

Inspiring/ unique/ cozy food and atmosphere! The Wild Fork toadily owns up to its name. I'm going to channel my inner wild fork for this review; you have been warned. Are you visiting Tulsa? Are you shopping in Utica Square? Are you taking your out-of-town family out to eat? It's time to get funky and genuinely local - eat at The Wild Fork. Disney movie-like magnolia trees and the Utica Square gardens surround the entrance and patio space. This is one of those magical places where dining inside is just as magical as outside (weather permitting). Prime people watching on the patio with the smell of tulips. Inside, the quarky lighting will catch your eye and bring it to all of the expressionistic art hung. There is a phenomenal breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu served Mon.-Sat. My favorite of the three is breakfast menu. Why? The coffee is delicious and overflows my cup. On the huge three egg omelet I ask for egg-whites with spinach, shallots, cheese and potatoes. The sourdough french toast is something someone always gets at may table and it always looks stunning. For dinner, begin with a lentil side order salad. It's funky AND fresh. Then, proceed to the Red Cornmeal Crusted Chicken. Trust me. The proportion is large so have some will-power to put some in a doggy-bag (do people still use that term?) so you don't need to wobble out. My fork is wild here. Yours will be, too. Holla.

It was a beautiful morning to sit outside and the only table available was in the blinding sun. Without prompting, the hostess said she would seat us after they moved the table to a shadier spot. It was refreshing being greeted with that kind of thoughtful service. My boyfriend and I were there for brunch and decided to order the breakfast burger and steak on a shingle. The burger was a beef/sausage mix with bacon, egg and grilled cheddar. It had a nice flavor, but was a bit dry. The s.o.s. was outstanding!! The beef was tender and the sauce was perfectly spiced. We would absolutely order that again.

This was one of those places that I found on Yelp and on the Mr. Delivery website, from which I eventually ordered their food from. The menu is very hip and new American, and they paid attention to the special instructions in my order and made sure to accommodate it. I'd definitely want to visit this restaurant in this new future, but for now, I shall review the food delivered to me! So, they offer online ordering and delivery via the Mr. Delivery delivery service, which you can access from both Wild Fork's Yelp page or mrdelivery.com . I decided to order the macaroni and cheese, and the pizza of three cheeses and sundries tomatoes (this is what the pizza is really called; promise I'm not just listing the ingredients). I also asked them to send crushed red pepper and Parmesan cheese on the side. When the order arrived, it was both packed well and hot. The crushed red pepper was definitely there, as was the Parmesan cheese; except this wasn't just powdered Parmesan cheese, it was actual shredded fresh cheese! Pretty cool, I thought. The macaroni and cheese was some of the best I've ever had. The pizza, however, had dried out a bit, so it wasn't the best, but it was still okay. With all this said, I would most definitely come back for the macaroni and cheese, and try out some of the other menu items. I've heard the place is hip, but if you ever want to deliver, remember that Mr. Delivery has that option.

Went for lunch today for a girls day with sisters and the service was not good and they would not let my niece substitute her side of German potato salad with French fries. What load of horse crap. She had a hamburger and they sold French fries but she could not have French fries with her hamburger. Then they brought her carbonated water instead of her sprite. I don't think I will go again.

Excellent service and atmosphere with the food lagging a bit behind. I love Tulsa, having grown up in this fine city, and if you visit be sure to include Utica Square Shopping Center on your list. It's elegant and beautiful in a way that few shopping centers are anywhere. While you're there, I recommend the Wild Fork, especially for lunch. We recently celebrated my parents' anniversary there. I had catfish (seeing as I was in Oklahoma), and everyone else had this and that. The food was really good, but not great. Not up to the standards of the San Francisco Bay Area's best. But the service was truly Okie in the best sense: friendly AND elegant. They had a live guitarist, too, so that atmosphere was A+. The food was A-.

Super disappointed...no breakfast after 11 on a Saturday...WHAT!? We only went for breakfast and were told they don't serve it after 11 BUT the table next to us got breakfast about 10 mins after we sat. That means at 11:45 they got breakfast after the deadline or they waited 45 mins after they ordered which I highly doubt. A little disappointed the server didn't even try to ask the manager or kitchen if we could still order. The coffee was good so we paid for it & left to go to the Chalkboard which served brunch til 2:30. Oh and they don't have black napkins...how is that possible.

YUM! Wild Fork is an upscale restaurant, but with totally affordable lunch options. At first glance, some of the items are pricey for what I would typically spend at lunch, but they have a large selection of salads and sandwiches that are totally reasonable and all sound unique and delicious! I ordered the Goat Cheese, Arugula and Red Onion Quesadillas which came with pico de gallo, cilantro sour cream, black beans and mixed grains. The cilantro sour cream was really awesome and reminded me of tzatziki sauce. The goat cheese was really good and paired well with the sour cream. I was skeptical if I liked arugula, but I think I am officially now a fan. The warm bread served with our meal was also really tasty and a good way to soak up every bite of the black beans which were more puree than actual beans, but good regardless. Service was good and quick; we were easily able to be in and out in our lunch hour. There was a wait for the patio, so we almost skipped Wild Fork, but surprisingly there was no wait at all for indoor seating. I think it is safe to say that I am officially in love with Utica Square!

The absolute worst meal I have had. Cold, greasy food. Went for Sunday breakfast. No longer serve breakfast but did have a frittata on menu. The worst service, food and atmosphere. $16 for a greasy frittata and cold biscuit (minus any butter or jam). Our waiter left and walked by outside to go smoke. Came back 10 minutes later stinking of cigarettes. Don't go here! Just bad all the way around

Paid $8.95 for the jalapeño slaw burger at lunch. The service was quick and friendly and I even had leftovers. Despite having jalapeño in it, my sandwich wasn't spicy at all so don't be afraid to try it. The German potato salad was awesome and had a hint of balsamic vinegar sweetness. Will definitely return.

Wild Fork is a cute restaurant tucked into Utica Square. I came with a friend for restaurant week. Appetizer: Chef's choice soup - a vegetable broth with mushrooms, onions, other vegetables, and rice. It was seasoned just right and surprisingly filling for a clear soup. Main course: Braised beef short ribs with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables - the roasted vegetables were okay. The mashed potatoes were good & seasoned well. The beef short ribs were really good and tender, but half of it was FAT. Pure FAT. No meat at all. I didn't even know it was possible to have pure fat surrounding a bone. Super disappointing. Dessert: Cream brulee with strawberries - Omg. Just give me a huge pie-dish worth of this. I will die happy. The service was professional, but my water glass went empty a few times. Inside the restaurant is super cute. Sitting next to the windows gives you a nice view outside - just don't look at the windowsill 3 inches away from your food. Dead bugs, anyone?

I don't think a 3-star rating is a bad thing. It's an average score. And to me, that's what Wild Fork is .. an average place to eat. We were not disappointed in anything, and we would consider going back to try more things if we lived in Tulsa. However, I was not blown away by my experience here, so 3-stars it is! This review is based on lunch only. I have a feeling that brunch is more their forte, and my score quite possibly could have been higher if we had gotten there before they switched to lunch fare. It's hard to judge a restaurant on their lunch menu because a lot of times it's just salads, burgers and sandwiches. So take my review for what it's worth. The restaurant itself is located in Utica Square so it's in a great location if you are walking around shopping and want to grab a bite. Has a nice patio section, so if weather is permitting, I'd suggest sitting outside. Inside, however, the restaurant is nicely done. Not too fancy, but not a cafeteria either. My husband and I got sandwiches with the German Potato Salad. First of all, the potato salad was very good. Warm and super vinegary. I could have eaten a huge bowl of it. I liked it a lot. For my sandwich, I got the Lentil & Feta Cheese. It was served on toasted flatbread with a hummus spread, greens and a red wine vinaigrette. This was a really good sandwich. Unique for sure. The lentils were a great idea for added texture, and the tanginess of the vinaigrette was a great contrast. I would order this sandwich again. My husband got the Chicken Salad Sandwich. For those that need to know (as my husband asked) if the chicken salad had grapes in it - it does not. He said it was a good chicken salad. I know people who like or prefer the grape-style chicken salad, so FYI for you. As you can see, not a bad review at all. We enjoyed our food. We left satisfied. There were a lot of items on the menu - some were standard, and some were a little more unique (like red cornmeal crusted chicken or five spice catfish). We would go back if the opportunity ever presents itself so we can try something else (but have the German potato salad again, for sure).

My husband and I ventured into Wild Fork while we were visiting Tulsa. Nice cozy environment. Our server was nice and accommodating. We had the Mac and Cheese appetizer and it was very tasty. I had the sesame chicken with fresh veggies and rice. Great flavor and good presentation. My husband had the Catfish and shrimp étouffée. We also tried the mixed berry margarita! Overall the food was good and it was a nice experience.

I moved to Tulsa approximately 1 year ago and was so happy to find this place. The food is excellent, and the staff is friendly and always smiling. The outside patio sitting is perfect for afternoon dinning. You must try the sesame crusted chicken of the menu. We also like the bar and the variety of mixed drinks the bar serves.

This place is not what is used to be. The interior is showing wear and tear and both the food and service has deteriorated in recent years. Also, the menu seems to lack cohesion. I went for Sunday brunch. Because of my small party was seated right away. Larger parties were having a considerable wait. We ordered the roasted chicken salad and blt. The roasted chicken salad was ordered sans blu cheese, but the blue cheese came out on the plate anyway. We asked for it to be returned and a short wait later a new plate came out. My blt was not very good. For dessert we had the creme brûlée. The caramelized top was not very crisp and the brûlée was more of a pudding. However, the fresh whipped cream with the brûlée was delicious. While eating wait staff yelled over our table to other staff we just generally felt in the way. I have loved this place for years, but think it's time to find a new area brunch spot.

I would give this place 4 stars but I got soooo sick after eating here. We were a party of 4 on a Saturday afternoon. Waitress was prompt and friendly. The food was just okay. Other table mates got the grilled chicken sandwich and loved it, but my buffalo chicken sandwich revisited me many times, both right after we left and well into the night. Three stars since I got ill, but my friends liked theirs.

I just love Utica Square and try to visit at least once every time I visit Tulsa. I brought my mom here for lunch the day before Thanksgiving and we had a nice lunch. Our waiter was very nice and even switched out my mom's lemonade for an iced sweet tea when she remarked about the excessive tartness of the fresh lemons (I found the lemonade to be perfect). I had the chicken fried chicken which was a bit tough but the gravy and mashed potatoes were perfect! The Mac and Cheese appetizer had a good flavor but the portion size was surprisingly small for $4. My mom got the Italian sandwich with au jus. She found her bread a bit burnt and the onions were far too undercooked. For 2 people our bill came to $44 which is a bit much to walk away somewhat dissatisfied. While the overall experience was good I'll probably visit Stonehorse or P.F. Chang's on a next visit to the area.

I went here on 5/30 for my birthday. The waitstaff were very nice and the outdoor seating area next to the garden was charming. The only problem was the totally underwhelming food. My favorite part was the wine I had, and my boyfriend joked that his favorite part was the free bread. We split the black bean app and it was no better than ok. It lacked flavor. My boyfriend had a $38 (medium) steak that was burnt on the outside and dry on the inside. I had the lentil salad which was fine but didn't have a good proportion of the ingredients. I also had the corkscrew pasta dish which was ok. Overall the food wasn't terrible but there was nothing great or exciting. For the prices that they are charging we will never go back. You can get a better steak at Outback for half the price.

My Lentil salad , no feta , is always delicious !! They do need more vegetarian , vegan , and gluten free options though . And after I tell my waiter i am vegan he shouldn't offer me chicken on my salad ? Anyway it's a Tulsa staple ! One of the best breakfasts in town in my opinion !! And best dog friendly patio !!

My husband made a reservation last night for Valentine's Day. We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation and checked in. We were told we would be seated as soon as possible. What followed was an hour and fifteen minute wait for a table and watching the hostesses seat people who came in after my husband and I. After an hour, my husband reminded the hostess that we had a reservation for 8 at the time it was 8:45 she told him it would be seven minutes. After waiting another fifteen minutes my husband told the hostess again that an hour had passed since our reserved time. She gave him a very annoyed look and immediately took him to an open table. Once seated, our waiter was very quick and polite our drinks were very good. I ordered the beef wellington cooked to medium but when it came it was medium rare. It was still good. I didn't send it back because we also had reserved a movie that we were unsure we were going to make because of how long it took to get seated. My husband ordered lamb chops cooked to medium and when they came they were well done. He still liked them although he wasn't happy about the temperature of his lamb. Really the best part of our experience was our waiter who did an excellent job. We will not be back though. Waiting as long as we did after making a reservation was unacceptable

After years of putting up with it, we have had it. Only one or two decent wait staff. Yesterday was the last straw. In a restaurant that was far from full, we waited 15 minutes for someone to take our order. Only when we called out to one of the wait staff to see who our server was, did someone take our order. We gave the guy our order. THEN he took out his order pad and we had to start over. Five minutes later, he came over to see how we were doing. He still hadn't brought us coffee. Thirty five (35) minutes in, we still had no food. Although we asked to see the manager, we were told she was at the bank. However, we saw her on our way out. She was back from the bank, but apparently thought that rolling silverware was more important than talking to us. We ate there 3 days a week and spent about $300 a month there. No more. We won't be back.

After working there for two years when I was in high school, I can say I've eaten almost everything on their breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu. Although I feel a twinge of guilt not giving them higher than 3-stars, I manage to sleep at night knowing they have a lot to improve on. The food itself is tasty. People swear to the breakfast, and I can say it is probably the best menu they offer. You can order a typical breakfast, but the special dishes are why breakfast is so good here. The tequitos are my favorite on the menu. Don't expect to finish these by yourself unless you're eating it as an early lunch, same goes with the omelets. The cheese grits are to die for. I never liked grits, but the creamy texture and subtle flavors are a must try. For lunch or dinner, try the black bean dip appetizer, it's a lot of food so for two it might even be a meal, but it's a great taster for a large group of people. Lunch has become a little overpriced in my opinion. I visited for lunch a few weeks ago and price hikes are as large as $2.00 for sandwiches since I had last eaten there. There is a variety of choice for lunch from salads, to sandwiches, to pastas, to full on entree meals (chicken friend steak, salmon). My personal favorite is the house salad with shrimp and their homemade honey dijon dressing. Don't skip on the beef tenderloin sandwich either! Dinner, in my opinion, can be overpriced for certain meals, but any of the meat dishes is crafted well. The duck souffle and the lamb are my favorite, although people like the beef medallions. The meat comes well seasoned, although sometimes it can be too salty. Food quality isn't consistent from night to night as they sometimes have different chefs do different things. You also used to get two sides, but they cut down to one. A shame since they're not worth paying extra for. If you like chocolate, try their chocolate in excess cake. I've never had anything like it before and still haven't. It's magical. You will want to share as it is very decadent. They have a nice patio in the middle of Utica Square, and the inside is always decorated with a local artist's work. A very trendy, yet classic feel. Service can also be spotty. During breakfast and lunch, waiters can be crowded and you don't get fast or friendly service. This is the area they need the most improvement in. Overall, the experience isn't worth the prices, especially after the price hikes. You can get pasta or salads for a reasonably priced dinner, but who wants to pay $15 for a salad with chicken? Another thing that has always annoyed me is their green initiative, using biodegradable boxes and forks. Nothing wrong with being green, but don't charge your customers for it. It's annoying to see a $0.35 charge on your bill just to take your food home. Overall a good restaurant and I would recommend it for the food, if you have extra money to spend and don't mind a relatively negligent waitstaff.

What a difference a meal makes!! Good for breakfast, terrible for lunch. My wife and I had breakfast for the first time here this week and the food was good and the service was excellent. Attentive and timely. Went back for lunch with our adult son and it was completely the opposite. Our server was slow, he forgot our drinks, it took over thirty minutes to get our food (a sandwich and two salads) he messed up one of the salad orders and instead of offering to fix it, just said he was sorry that he put it in wrong, then walked away. We had to have one of the other servers find him to get the check. The food at lunch was just OK and it may have just been our bad luck to get this server, but I might go back for breakfast, but certainly not for lunch.

Yes. Do this. Fried chicken and mash was amazing. Bread pudding was perfect. Loved the eclectic atmosphere. Service was perfect. Loved it. Great place to go with your wife when your life is normally consumed by work and kids.

Awesome staff, world class bar tending, solid food, the city's best patio, all in a convenient location. What more do you want? Oh- biscuits and gravy? Done

First of all, their outdoor courtyard dining area is beautiful with the fountains , grassy areas, and large trees. It had just finished raining and it was so pleasant out there. Business was slow so service was very attentive. Their homemade bread was delicious- I ate lots of it! My Cesar salad was good - liked the olives. Lucky for my wallet , the surrounding upscale shops were closed but I will put this area on my return list for my next trip to Tulsa!

Quite a pleasant surprise. We didn't have plans to eat out that day but for some mystery reason I can't remember now we were walking by and partner pointed and said let's eat there. So there we were, missed happy hour by a second so we had food from the regular menu and we both had lovely meals. The service was also super nice. Great find in town! Will go back.

ERMEGHERD, WILD FORK. YOU'RE KILLING ME. My experience at The Wild Fork was a prime example of where the service irritated me enough to warrant a lowered rating. I was meeting some friends here with my husband. My husband and I were seated and we waited over 10 minutes before anyone came to our table to ask if we wanted coffee. C'mon. This should happen immediately. Strike one. Once our friends met us (and we had our coffee) we perused the menu. I decided on the hash (eggs, cheese, onions, bacon, sausage, ham) with no ham. Just bacon and sausage. I ordered it with a side of biscuits and gravy. We placed our orders and waited over 30 minutes for the food to get to our table. It wasn't crowded. Strike two. Naturally, my hash came loaded with ham and with no biscuits and gravy. I gave up on my ham protest and wildly tried to flag our waitress down for my biscuits. Strike three. The food was good (how can a pile of cheese and eggs and meats not be good?), but I was really kind of annoyed by the end of this meal. Biscuits and gravy were to die for, though. THAT'S worth coming back for....but maybe get it to go....

great atmosphere and located in historic Utica Square this place is a must for any tulsa tourists or locals alike! the chicken salad is not your grandmas recipe, with a nice fresh take that makes for a refreshing lunch without putting you to sleep. on the other hand of you have time for a nap then don't skip out on the chicken fried steak! if the weather is nice then definitely go for a seat on the patio. for desert you can grab any of the options from here, or step across the street to queenie's for some pie!

Tasty offerings! Onions yum! Blackened cat fish sandwich best ever consider I don't recall eating cat fish in the last 20 years! Service may be the best in town. Seamless and prompt with respect for b day surprise wishes. Tea room style! Wish they had sustainable caviar and toast points teamed with Vodka! Bathrooms awkward!

The Wild Fork is defiantly wild. The decor is confusing and untamed. They unsuccessfully mix modern and traditional. The traditional hamburger I ordered was unimpressive. The chef decided to dice onions rather than slice them, the Swiss cheese is not something that should be on the menu, and if I wanted gross yellow mustard I would go to McDonalds. The wheat bun was the only good thing on this American Classic. Although I'd prefer a toasted version. The potato salad side was far too sweet, not to mention looked more like mashed potatoes. The service was fine. A little more thought into each of these areas would go a long way.

I have never had a bad meal here. Wait, surely I can do better than that. I love their 5 spice fried catfish. It would also be good as their salad offering. I also wish they would serve the chicken fried steak at dinner. I guess we can't have everything. My service has always been great. The place gets slammed at lunch, so I go with a wait in mind. My only problem with this place is that I forget about it and always kick myself for not getting back sooner. I am really surprised at the low reviews, I deflinitely recommend it.

I have mix feelings about the place. I rave about it because it is an interesting restaurant in Tulsa. They have so many different items on the menu to try. And they have changing specials. However, as I order things on the menu, there's just something odd about them - delicious yet peculiar. we had the 'shrimp and corn fritters' as an appetizer. the fritters were more like a 6 inch pancake. and the name said shrimp 'and' corn so i was expecting the shrimps to be mixed in the fritters instead of being on top. maybe a better name is 'shrimp with corn fritters'. tasty but not the shape i was expecting. Two days ago they have red fish with some curry sauce and scallops with some citrus on top and slices of cucumber on the bottom. i had 3 scallops on the plate with a side of steamed mix veggies. it was filling. but why an asian spin on the items. and if the fish is perfect why drenched it with curry sauce. now i'm thinking the fish was a suspect. simply grilled should suffice with curry rice or curry potatoes perhaps. also i asked that the veggies to have no salt and no butter. and that's how they made it. service is amazing. i dropped my napkin and as i was picking it up, the server handed me a new one. and bec of those last two things, they are on 4 stars. in any case, whenever i travel to Tulsa, I definitely go to this place to check out what's new.

First off, this restaurant should have it's money rating increased. I am from Chicago and I'm no stranger to paying money for a good meal. But the food here was bland and mediocre. I paid $12 for some linguine with a few pieces of broccoli and and undressed salad. Server offered shrimp and I said sure. Bill came, shrimp was $8 extra dollars. I had a crappy plate of plain pasta with 5 shrimp for 20 bucks at lunchtime. The two other members of my party did not like their food. Avoid. This place blows.

Being seated and the service was slow today even though they weren't overly crowded. Everyone was very polite. The spinach salad was one of the best I've ever had. My wife spoke highly of the chicken salad sandwich as well.

Food : mediocre for the price. It was ok, nothing to write home about. Service: Attentive but it took a long time for the food to arrive. Waitress offered us bread , that took a while and we had to remind her. Will I come back? Probably when I had to meet someone there and they chose the place.

Came in from out of state to visit family and had dinner here. The best service I've had in a long time...our young server was polite, prompt and did a great job. I don't generally write reviews but the service was note worthy! Food was great too, we had salads, a filet, and a pizza. All good!

Wild Fork used to be my favorite place to eat in Tulsa. My most recent experience has convinced me to go elsewhere. Recently the summer weather broke (that is, under 90 degrees) and we went for an evening meal on the patio. I ordered one of the specials, a barramundi on a bed of spinach. I ordered it without bacon. I do want to say that our server was cordial and timely. However.... The plate was set down in front of me and there was bacon on the fish and in the spinach. I let the server know and she took the dish back to the kitchen. It came back out a few minutes later - too soon to have prepared a new plate. My conclusion - they took the fish scraped off the bacon, threw some new spinach on the plate, put the de-baconed fish back on the plate and smothered it in bleu cheese crumbles. The problems with this? 1) I do not eat bacon and a new piece of fish should have been cooked, 2) the bleu cheese completely overshadowed the fish. In other words, you could not taste the fish at all. All in all, Wild Fork provided a meal that was sub par from a kitchen that apparently is more interested in quick turn than proper preparation. I will be looking for other dining alternatives in Tulsa.

Im a vegetarian so this is one of the few places in town where I have more than one option. But I love this place, and I think it has gotten better. A few years ago I ordered the pesto artichoke pizza, but I wasn't in a pesto mood so I asked if the pesto could be left off, the server came back and said the chef couldn't leave off the pesto because it would 'ruin the integrity of the dish's aesthetics'. After that, I didn't want to go back. BUT I did, and I'm glad I did. The food is delish and they will leave off the pesto now with no qualms about it! It's worth the extra $$$.

Food was ok. Could have been better. Setting is so beautiful, it almost made the sub-par service bearable. But not quite. Appetizer only arrived after entrees because I brought it to our inattentive waitress's attention--sans advertised bread and lukewarm when it finally arrived. Overall a waste of what could be an incredible experience.

If you go at lunch, the chicken fried steak is pretty good, but who wants to carbo-load in the middle of the day? Only if you are allowed to nap at work. They don't serve this dish for dinner, oddly enough. I haven't had anything else here that was even remotely worthy of a return trip except the breakfast pizza. The ambiance is pretty good, the art is kind of tacky but they have tons of really awesome and distinct light fixtures. If the weather is nice you can sit outside and feel really high-class. You are dining at Utica Square, after all. Final verdict- this place just feels like an old lady. Like moth balls and old candy.

Overall, it's actually one of the better breakfast places I've had in town. (I haven't experience the dinner or lunch service). Has a little more flavor and a larger portion than Queenies on the opposite street. Really like the jams and jellies that come with the toast. However, they really need to renovate the interior. It's like you stepped back into 1994, has a vibe that makes you think of a coffee shop from 'Friends' or old school MTV. It has a lot of potential, but they need to rework their design.

I came here for a business dinner and was very happy with the service and food. I had a pasta with cornmeal chicken and it was delicious. I also had a margarita with some chili in it and it is one of my new fav drinks in Tulsa. We had calamari and some type of dip as well as appetizers that were great too. Yum yum!

Today was going to be the third time to eat there. I went with my son and daughter-in-law with 2 1/2 hours to spare before a ballet performance. They told us 15-20 minute wait. Fifty minutes later, not seated, tables still not cleaned and 5 groups behind us seated ahead of us (there were only 2 people in their parities). When my son asked if they could just move a chair to a 2 person table for us, they said no as they had to allow wheelchair access. Really? That place is so small, that a wheelchair could not get through anywhere in there. Needless to say, we left and had to eat fast food..

I came to Tulsa for work, and my team and I came here for an early lunch based on a client recommendation. I had the BLT, which was pretty tasty! Fat strips of bacon, fresh L and T, and the chipotle mayo was a nice touch. I hate when restaurants add too much mayo, but Wild Fork had a good balance. Also, the fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious, and the side of fresh fruit was fresh! My co-workers' dishes didn't look as good as mine, so I can't speak to their breakfast plates.. they did seem satisfied, so I'm sure you can't go too wrong.

I'v eaten at The Wild Fork more times than I can count, and I have no idea why keep going back, except it's very close to my house.. Their food has consistently gotten worse over the years, and I think they just are skating on their location at this point. The one thing I could always count on was their breakfast being good, but last time I was there, that's not true anymore. Everything I had was just awful. I was there for lunch yesterday, and the soup of the day was disgusting. My friend had the Caesar salad, and it was passable, but nothing to write home about. If you want a really good caesar, go to Tucci's.

I am in tulsa for a visit and went here with my parents. The service was so so...food was good (esp the home fries)and the coffee was pretty delicious! Great location, I do love Utica Square...Cool artwork and music. I have not been here in about 3-5 years and I noticed that they put a bar and a flat screen TV in the center room. The bar is cool though I am sure it adds to the crowded chaos on weekend mornings as it takes away space for tables. The TV? Bad choice Wild Fork!...what are you, a chinese buffet? Come on. I still love you though, don't worry, just keep making good coffee and using fresh ingredients. I will be back next time I'm in town.

So I agree with everyone saying the food is just OK; but at least they have a seater and the service is good. Better experience than Queenies, but just average food (though my wife love's the Lentil salad).

My friends and I went for breakfast, there were 5 of us and after waiting an hour and watching everyone before AND after us be seated, eat and leave we were finally seated. On the way to the table I stopped the manager and told her that we were disappointed due to waiting an hour and being overlooked. Her answer, in a rude tone of voice was "it is really hard to seat five people, you have to push two tables together." Gosh, if I had known how difficult it was to seat 5 whole people I would have excluded my least favorite friend from joining us *sarcasm*. Also, the food was not good. Due to the hour we waited they rushed us to order our food before we were allowed to order our drinks, (the kitchen wanted to switch to lunch). I ordered a breakfast scramble, it was cold, the dish was too salty and drowning in half melted cheese. I am of the opinion that a restaurant should want business, not that I should feel some sort of privilege by being "allowed" to eat there. Had the manager treated me kindly and apologized for what happened I would go back. She didn't and I won't. Save your money and go to stone horse, dilly deli, blue moon, old school bagel...pretty much anywhere else in Tulsa. If I had been able to leave zero stars I would have.

Wait for it, wait for it..... BEST BREAKFAST IN TULSA!!!!! Wasn't that worth waiting for? The two things I love most about Wild Fork: - The location: Its setting in Utica Square make you feel like you are in a cozy breakfast spot in San Francisco. Love the tall windows and distinctive light fixtures. - The food (duh): Though we've only been to dinner here once, we have been to breakfast countless times. I like to mix it up: I'll do their corned beef hash, their breakfast pizza, an omelette or their pecan pancakes. Whatever you do, make sure to get the cheese grits. The wifey gets the same thing every time: the cheese omelette. She always asks to have her potatoes extra crispy. One negative (as much as I hate to hate) is their coffee. I'd rather (and have been known to) sneak in a Starbucks from across the lawn. The one downside I can think of is the fact that it is closed on Sunday. I'd think closing on Monday would be a much better idea.

This was a great place for the girls to take a break from shopping and have lunch. The pizza were awesome and the mediterranean burger was good too. Sitting on the patio was relaxing and fun considering the great weather that day. Champagne was a nice touch to a great ladies lunch out!

It's been a few years since my last dining experience at Wild Fork, so keep that in mind as you read my short review. Each time that I've eaten at Wild Fork, I've pushed myself away from the table satisfied and delighted with my food selection but I remember the service as being average. I'll probably eat there again soon to find out if my opinion changes.

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots (along with First Watch on 81st & Lewis). Yummy Wild Fork Hash, the best cheddar grits, good service and decent outdoor seating when the weather is nice.
