Easy parking if you get there early, great staff, enthused about products. Pizza was wonderful, they won't put mushrooms on half of it though, and it is uncut. I'm a gelato freak, sampled orange chocolate and it reminded me of a truffle, pistachio was wonderful, but gobbled down the hazelnut. Wonderful experience, told all my friends and we will be back asap. Get the blood orange Italian soda.

After all that.. you can be sure you will have to wheel me outta there because I am so full! Friendly staff and just damn good food. PERIOD. Go there and order one of everything! Its worth it #cheatday

We are big fans of Andolinis and STG Gelato in The Farm so we were more than excited to visit STG Pizzeria down town in the Blue Dome district. So we grabbed our quarters for the meters and headed out for lunch. I have been there twice now and enjoyed myself both times. There are some things I'd like to share though. It's pay at the counter and grab a number. Beverage choices include Italian wines, Italian beers, beers locally brewed bottles and Fanta soft drinks. They do offer a nice tall chilled bottle of water and glasses if you don't want to purchase a bottled soda or beer. You can choose between sitting at the bar and watch the pizzas being assembled and cooked in their 950 degree oven or at a 4-top table. The business is small and doesn't offer much seating but there has always been enough when we were there. The ingredients are top notch. The buffalo milk mozzarella, salted burrato ricotta, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, prosciutto di Parma, flour and San Marzano tomatoes -- are imported from Italy. The menu is limited to just 7 seven traditional Neopolitan-style pizzas, meat and cheese plate and gelato but that is really all you need, right? We ordered the Margarita with sea salt and loved it (the next visit I purchased my own and didn't share it). It was light and delicious, nothing heavy. My friend ordered the Quattro Stagione because the ingredients sounded tasty even though we didn't know what it all was: sopressata, kalamata olives, portabello mushrooms and speck (smoked piccolo prosciutto). Because of my prior visit I knew that the pizzas would come uncut. The table setting includes Italian-made forks and the knives have short, serrated blades to cut the pizzas. This apparently is authentic to Italy but frankly my under traveled self would rather have it cut for me. My friend had a hard time cutting the Quattro because it is divided with dough to keep it separated into different flavor quarters. So you are basically getting 4 different quarters of pizza, not all toppings together. Sharing this pizza isn't recommended. The staff is beyond friendly and are excited to talk to you about their gelato and offer samples. We ordered the "small" and split it easily. We will be back...maybe next week.

Trying out a new place on a work trip to Tulsa. Staying downtown, and not too many options I could find on Yelp, that looked cool to me. The area has definitely become gentrified, and the crowd is mixed of hipsters, and also average joe's. I had the burrata salad and the diavolo pizza, and both were very good. Minimal ingredients, which I like, because you can taste everything in it. Could have gone a tiny bit lighter on the olive oil in my pizza, as some would drop off as I turned the slice sideways, but other than that, everything was great. If I ordered the pizza with light olive oil next time, I think it will be perfect, and I'll update my review with a 5 star. Also, very nice people working there. Friendly, chatting and socializing with the customers, which I enjoyed.

Eating at STG was a fantastic experience. Special shout out to Paul, who let me know when I called that they were running low on pizza dough and so should place a walk-in order. He also really patiently fielded my questions to fit our dietary restrictions-the easiest vegan option is a marinara pizza that is great with just basil, and can be topped with any other veggies they have! Wine and gelato offerings at the store were also excellent. I believe both the mozzarella and sausage are prepared in-house and were delicious. Eating in the outdoor patio space offered an excellent view of the downtown skyline. Paul additionally offered a comprehensive rundown of his favorite bars in the area for a Saturday night out. A great place for visitors or (in our case, newly minted) Tulsans!

The pizza is pretty good, but the gelato is the friggin bomb diggety. I've eaten here a couple of times, and tried the Margherita the first time and the Scamorza the second time. The Margherita was the better of the two in my opinion. But the real gem is the gelato. I've yet to be let down, Sicilian Pistachio & Banana Cream Pie with Toffee are the best I've had so far. If you wanna try a different approach to pizza, come check this place out.

Terrific, authentic, and delicious. Their Gelato is second to none. Fast and friendly.

I would probably go 4.5 but since that's not an option I'll round down. Since my last review I think things have gone from top notch to top notch plus an exceptional experience. The staff here are knowledgable, friendly and entertaining to watch. Fun Fact--mozzarella is fresh and the pizza oven cooks at 900 degrees, meaning pizza's cook in just over one minute. I timed it, 75 seconds! Gelato still melts in your mouth. This place is like a slice of Italy in Tulsa! Give it a try.

This pizza is amazing! We got the Diavolo, which has sausage, pistachios, red pepper flakes, mozzarella, and olive oil. The crust is so light, airy and crisp. The pizzas are all pretty simple, but the ingredients are SO flavorful. I didn't know mozzarella could taste so great! And of course we got some gelato for dessert, which was amazingly creamy and delicious also. Like others have said, the space inside is pretty small, it only holds 49 people. But I think it's pretty awesome what they've done and accomplished with the small space. And service was great. Will definitely be returning to STG to try more pizzas!

I love that you can watch your pizza being made in the custom Tulsa oven. Their gelato is amazing. My favorites are blood orange, graham cracker, and honey. I find it odd that you have to pay for water and you don't get refills. I would recommend just getting a beer instead of buying H20.

I can't say enough good things about STG. Totally authentic pizza and gelato! I will not get ice cream from anywhere else in town now that I have experienced the amazingness that is STG Gelato. I had the privilege of hearing the owner talk about the concept for this restaurant. It seems silly to say this about pizza, but it was really inspiring to hear him talk so passionately about the authenticity of his process. All of their ingredients are actually from Italy, so you know you're really getting the real deal. The pizza oven was also made in Italy! The owner is very passionate about making sure that everyone has a top notch, authentic Italian dining experience. You can taste the love that goes into these pizzas! I have only heard one complaint about this place, and it is that what you read on the menu is what you get. Some of these pizzas (because they are traditional Italian pizzas) do not have cheese. If you don't see cheese on the pizza that you are ordering, it will not have cheese. That being said, the mozzarella that they have is AMAZING. Get yourself to STG, folks. You will not regret it!

"Wait... am I in Tulsa or Italy?" This is a question I had a couple times while dining at STG. I've been to Italy and can vouch for authenticity here to the max. First off, they're staffed extremely well. Everyone there just seems genuinely happy and that totally translates to the atmosphere. It's located in the booming Blue Dome District so there's stuff to do after you eat within walking distance! You can find parking in the lot (just be sure you pay!) or on the street. Inside is just.. groovy. There's a massive eye-catching pizza brick oven inside that boldly reads TULSA. This oven is LEGIT - it's a 100% NAPLES AUTHENTIC WOOD BURNING OVEN and was built in the Stefano Ferrara factory in Naples, Italy. I know... woahdang. I will TOTALLY try every pizza. Right now, I've tried the parma (italian imported buffalo milk mozzarella, prosciutto di parma, parmigiano reggiano, portabello mushroom, fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil) and the diavalo (house made calabrian sausage, chili flake, pistachios, house made mozzarella fior di latte, fleur de sel sea salt, extra virgin olive oil.) Both were fresh and ready within minutes. The sausage on the diavalo is rave-worthy; full of flavor. Each was totally authentic and unique in its own right - just downright drool-worthy. Now onto the gelatoooooooOHMYGOSH! It's made fresh in small batches daily and is by far the BEST gelato I've ever had in my life. Ever. There are so many fantastic classic and unique flavors. You can order a regular cup ($4.50,) large ($5.50,) or the Roman Torch cone for $5.50. Get the Roman Torch. Even if you have leftovers, it stays soft like gelato in the freezer magically! I put both the chocolate chip and white chocolate cherry cheesecake in my cup and it was just... perfect. Noticeably fresh and made with top notch ingredients. You can bet when I'm having a really bad... or good day I'm coming by for this gelato. There are so many different options I can't wait to try! Next on my list: Oreo Cheesecake Brownie. Yuh. The moon hit my eye with these big pizza pies and gelato. TRUE AMORE, YELPER FRIENDS!

This rating is a combo of the pizza & gelato. I got the Diavolo. Calabrian sausage, chili flake, pistachios, mozzarella, sea salt & extra virgin olive oil. Really savory. The pistachios was an odd addition, never thought I would have something like that on my pizza but it worked out pretty well. The gelato, creme brûlée. Can't go wrong with that, right?! Smooth & creamy. Not too sweet. Melts in your mouth. I couldn't get enough, definitely wanted more!

There is a lot of competition currently in the high-end Tulsa pizza market. The local on this joint is prime for the growing downtown market. The ingredients are probably some of the better found in the Tulsa pizza realm and presentation is very eye catching. The whole set up works great. Gelato and Pizza, what is not to like right? Recommendations: There is a Graham Cracker Gelato that is a MUST. Do not look to any other (unless it is the thin mint one), this Gelato was insane and I did not go in thinking that was the flavor I wanted. It was recommended to me by one of the fine folks working the place. I will order again and again. The place is very clean and sterile, after working in restaurants and watching Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares I have a new found respect for those who go above and beyond to keep the staff and the restaurant in pristine condition. The pizzas are modest in size, a hungry person could eat one or a couple can share with an app. We had the cheese tray as an app. The products were yummy. I general sample cheese trays when I am out and this had some very simple but delicious offerings. Three cheeses, some deli cuts, pita, and olives. The pizza: Presentation is that of what you'd expect from an authentic pizzeria. Not the American pizza where there are tons of toppings that overload you with salt, fats, and no quality. This was delicately prepared and presented. As mentioned before the produce and toppings are top-notch. The presentation is crafted for your eyes as well as your stomach (you will want to instagram your meal #foodpic). The sauce is not thick and robust however it sports a yummy sweet tomato flavor that when coupled with the brick oven smoke on the crust it just works. The savory toppings of meat and the house made mozzarella will please most any palate. As I have stated the Tulsa Pizza Market is exploding currently, this is worth your time and attention if only just for once.

This is the best margherita pizza in Tulsa. If that's what you want, this is the place to go. I don't know of any other place in the area with a wood burning oven that gets as hot as theirs does. The other pizzas are pretty good as well, but not on the same level IMO. The major downside is the price. A single margherita pizza is $14. And that is only enough to feed one person. Parking is terrible as well, but that's not really their fault, its the nature of downtown.

Excellent pizza place in downtown Tulsa. Was headed to try a place I've eaten before and changed for new option. Tried the charcuterie and cheese platter (half portion $8). Comes with fresh mozzarella portion, smoked mozzarella and parmesan for cheeses. Prosciutto, speck for the meats as well as olives, pepper and pita bread. I also tried a pizza. Too much for one person but delicious. It was a real treat to see the chef prepare each of the items. Overall very nice setting and service.

I hate writing reviews after a first visit but I feel like I need to give some props to STG. STG is EXACTLY what we needed in Downtown for a bunch of reasons. First, it can be super quick if you want it to be, making it a great lunch spot. Because of their crazy hot pizza oven, the pizza can be made in less than 5 minutes. How awesome! Next, it's seriously high quality pizza. With fresh ingredients and delicious, Italian imported cheeses. STG totally reminds me of the wonderful pizza you get in Naples. Also, STG makes for a great date spot. The environment is urban and fun, they have delicious wine, Italian beers and awesome gelato to end the night. It's also really close to Bramble (my new favorite bar) so you can head there after for a nightcap. Lastly, while it's not cheap for individual pizza, it is cheaper than other alternatives for food in downtown. We ordered 2 pizza and 2 glasses of wine with a bill under $50 (I think maybe $43). We had leftovers so I think we probably could have gone with an app and 1 pizza for a slightly lower bill. Again, that's not cheap for pizza but it is comparatively an affordable downtown date option. My only small complaint is the pizza dough. It had a pretty strong flavor, overpowering the delicate cheese and sauce. The thickness was perfect but it was a little more dense than the fluffy, airy dough I would expect from Italian style pizza. No biggie - it's probably just a personal preference or perhaps something they'll work out over time. It's still delicious and you should absolutely visit as soon as you can! Can't wait to go back and try some other pizzas and gelato.

I had heard good things about this place, I'm surprised there are no reviews yet! Located in the blue dome district this restaurant is a perfect pick if you're looking for authentic traditional italian. Their menu isn't large but their product is amazing. I brought my children on a Friday afternoon and we picked the margharita pizza. Fresh dough, quality tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, sea salt and olive oil, baked in a brick oven. They have a similar feel to andolinis so my kids loved watching the cooks work. They have only bottled drinks, one bathroom, and a small dining area. When you're finished with your pizza go back for some amazing gelato. We normally go to mods but they have mods selection beat. You can have a taste before you commit to a flavor. All in all a great place to eat. The staff was super nice and helpful as well. Will be going back often!

Great pizza and the gelato is out of this world. I had the creme brûlée with salted caramel and the bride had the lemoncello biscotti. Definitely will be back.

We stopped for the gelato. Between the three adults, the cheerful employee allowed us to try about 9 flavors (hope this doesn't get them in trouble). Generous and happy was this person. It enhanced the experience. Oh the gelato. The pistachio tasted like pistachio. The hazelnut tasted like hazelnut. The snozzberry tasted like snozzberry.

This place is owned by the proprietors of Andolini's and its pizza is every bit as good. It's a very different style though. Cool atmosphere where you can see them bake your pizza in the oven and survey all of the gelato offerings as well. I'm not particularly keen on Napoleon style pizza, but it's my girlfriend's favorite so I've been here a number of times and never had a bad experience. If you like gelato, they will let you sample every single one before purchasing. If you're downtown this is a great spot to pick if you need something fairly quick that will please everyone.

I was wanting to stop in because it looked like a 'pizza by the slice' place but it isn't offered yet. I can't remember what my pizza was called but it had sausage and pistachios in it. I was very surprised when I tasted it with how good and clean the pizza tasted. Noticeably fresh ingredients and a well sized pizza. The pizza was a touch salty and a little overpriced but I will definitely be back.

Delicious fresh pizza and gelato. We ordered a margherita and they made another one for us (for free) just for funsies. Highly recommend the tiramisu gelato. Awesome little place!

Awesome place with great food & very quick + friendly service. Pizzas are usually done within 5 minutes and, in my experience, are always delicious. The gelato is the best part of the whole experience, however. The only downside is the price. While I don't think it is unfair for what you're getting (especially for the gelato, as you do get quite a large serving for gelato), it can be a bit much for every day.

Second trip to STG and got the Quattro Stagione this time. This is one of the best pizzas ever. Thin and crisp in the center, chewy and airy crust with a slight char to it. Incredible flavor and texture. The gelato is uber rich, so its good to share. I will definitely be going back!

Nice employees and the edges of the pizza were nice, but the middle was a soggy inedible mess. Maybe the oven was just off, because it looked properly cooked.

if you come here, be willing to spend at least $15ish. I came here for lunch and was expecting lighter options (with a lighter price..) but the dinner and lunch menus are the same. all pretty heavy options. at least one salad would be nice. BUT the pizza was tasty. not a lot of variety, but that's okay with me. I had the scamorza and highly enjoyed it. the restaurant is quite small but a fun atmosphere. they have garage doors that will be great for Summer weather. now, the gelato.. they let you try as many flavors as you want which is extremely nice. I had the olive oil flavor and it was surprisingly AWESOME. I strongly recommend it.

I have ate at many small pizza houses from the US and abroad and this one ranks amongst my favorites. Small batch pizza making at its finest. Hot wood burning oven enough for one maybe 2 pies is perfect for this small artisan infused pizzeria. Very limited menu however with expert crafted dough, sauce and handcrafted cheese. I got the Quatro and it was outstanding. Don't stop at the 11" power infused flavored pizza. The Gelato is small batched as well and very creamy and tasty. If you find yourself trapped in Tulsa and are looking for that somthing extraordinary, this is the place to try.

This place just opened up in the Blue Dome District. The food was excellent. All the ingredients were made in house and very fresh. The service was very prompt considering they are cooking a pretty good sized pizza for you. The space was a bit cramped but very nice and soothing. I feel the price you pay is well worth the portion size you recieve. Definiteky stop in for pizza or a gelato.

I love this place. I've had Neapolitan pizza all over the U.S. and have found only one place slightly better than STG pizza. The lemon biscotti gelato is also the best gelato I've ever had. I am extremely happy to have this place in Tulsa.

Great atmosphere. People are really nice and welcoming. The menu was different and all created by the owner. This is a small new business that I believe will succeed! You place your order and pay up front, then take a seat and wait until pizza is served. They have an oval oven that was built in Italy that only takes 90 seconds to make the pie. Each pie is a personal size and is more than enough to fill you up! The pizza itself is amazing and delicious. This is one of my top 5 best pizzas, if not #1. I totally recommend this place and would definitely go there anytime! After you have your pizza, you have to get the gelato. It is all made there and is absolutely delicious as well. They have a large variety of flavors and it is a decent portion as well. Just perfect after a nice meal.

Authentic Italian style Pizza. And I've been to Italy and eaten there. Friendly staff. Busy buzzy atmosphere. Too many cooks with giant ear holes....puts me off...but i'm just old fashioned I guess. Pizza was great.

Fun place with a limited menu. I believe the pizza is very authentic, down to the limited topping choices, and came out quickly. There are three salad choices that were rather large. Perhaps a half portion could be offered to go with the pizza. The gelato looked amazing, but will have to wait for another visit.

LAME. They Close at 10 on weekends. Terrible lighting like you're in a really cheap fast food restaurant . Tulsa is still lame.

    (1)
  • Agatha M.

A friend told me this was his favorite, favorite, best of all time, numero uno pizza place, so I was all about getting here last weekend. I'll tell you the good things first. The crust is goooood. It's just thick enough to not burn, but thin enough to still be Neapolitan style. I see more and more Neapolitan, thin crust-hot oven places popping up, and STG simply has the best crust. Also, the gelato is good. Really good. The bad: Pizza. This was the saltiest food I have ever had. I started with the burrata salad. The prosciutto should be salty, okay. "Salted" burrata will be salty, okay too. But then salt is a listed ingredient as well. Just more and more salt? I'm in no way salt sensitive, I never think about it--this was simply overwhelming. I was looking forward to pizza, til I remembered that salt was an ingredient on them too. Our table ordered both Diavolo and Zucchine pizzas. Everything was great except it was just too salty. I ripped off the crusts of two extra slices just to temper all the salt in my mouth. When I get outvoted, and we go here again, I'll just specifically ask to not have any salt added. I hope this would fix it. The pizza otherwise was very good. The bad: Gelato. Maybe they have too many flavors, but there's just a little too much sampling. They encourage it. I said "I think I'm ready to decide..." and they asked if I wanted a few more samples before I decided. Of course I like the customer service, but when you have 15+ people all trying to get their samples and then their order in, it's too much. I wish you could get multiple flavors in the smaller size. The pressure to just get one at $4.50 brings on all the sampling. If it works, it works, but it's really crowded. The entire ordering process is too crowded. Surely STG can get a second iPad and make two lines, one for pizza orders, one for gelato. Bottom Line-the pizza takes 90 seconds to cook, but you'll be in line 10-15x longer than that trying to get through the gelato line.

I respect the Napoleatano approach with Italian ingredients but it came out w/watery tomato sauce so the crispness of the wood-fire is totally lost as it went soggy in 2 min.

  • Roseann B.

The pizza is amazing. It's different from all the other places in town and it is truly Napolitano. What crust! What sauce! Mamma Mia! We found one pizza the perfect size for two people to share, unless you're a big eater. But even if that's the case, you can order a salad, an antipasto, and top it off with scrumptious gelato. I just came back from Italy. The pizza and gelato at STG are as good as any I had there. Please support this place. I don't want to lose this treasure!

Tonight my friend and I came for some pizza and wine. Both a . It was a Wednesday night and while it wasn't crazy busy, they guy at the counter was working so hard. While my friend and I were ordering at least 3 (not so savory customers) came and interrupted us asking for water. He remained gracious despite the fact that it was rude. Kuddos to you C cap gay, bc both of us, being servers ourselves would have not been so nice.

Food here is excellent. The focus is on quality, not a large selection, so expect a limited menu done the best it can be done. We each ordered a pizza but figured afterwards we could have split it among two of us and gotten some gelato instead of the second pizza. Delicious.

My wife and I were happily greeted when we walked in - although the menu was a little overwhelming the guy behind the counter happily translated and described the wide array of pizza choices to us in a concise manner. We ordered what was essentially a pepperoni pizza - and it was awesome! We split a salad and one pizza (all pizzas are 1 personal size) and got out paying a fair price. We will be back!

We stumbled into STG on Sunday before seeing a show at the PAC. Dinner started with the Caprese salad and it was delicious. The mozzarella they use is the perfect consistency for the way they served it. The Magherita pizza was a little doughy (which is how I love my pizza) and grrreat. We finished dinner off with some gelato! I definitely recommend splitting the small - because it was huge! The service was fast and attentive. The prices were a little on the expensive side for a quick pizza, but it was delicious! We were in and out within 45 minutes - a perfect lunch and quick dinner joint! The music was a little too loud for the size of the restaurant, so maybe not a great first date place.

This is a nice place located on the edge of the downtown district of Tulsa. My party of five decided to stop in as we had a little time to kill before heading to a concert nearby. My fiancee and I had the Margherita pizza for dinner. It was delicious. It took around 5 minutes or so for the pizza to come out. All the ingredients tasted very fresh, including the sauce. It was a bit small for 2 people, but I knew we would be supplementing our meal with some gelato. The gelato...it's amazing. Some gelato can be a bit overly thick and rich; this stuff is perfect. I had the thin mint and chocolate crunch, a perfect combination. I got to try several of the sorbet as well, and they were very fruity and tasty. All in all, I recommend. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

I should probably preface this by saying I came here for dinner and did not try the gelato. I really want to give this place 4 stars, but what's holding me back is the fact that it cost my husband and I $41 (tip excluded) to buy two pizzas and two beers for dinner last night. The pizzas were good - but they weren't $15 and $12 good. My husband got the Margherita, and it had red sauce interspersed with some sparse mozzarella that didn't cover half of the pizza. Mine was the Diavolo, and it was void of red sauce (which I liked for the flavors), but it was almost too simple for something that connoted spicy flavors. I think maybe adding some more toppings might help, but I'm not familiar with the style of pizza they're trying to do. It's definitely not at all like the Andolini's experience. Still, I ate my pizza - but here's the catch - I was still hungry afterward. The pizza is very thin and has almost nothing on it, so it's easy to polish one off and still want to eat more after. I guess this is where you tell me I should have tried the gelato! Anyway, the food was enjoyable and the beers were cold, but I won't be doing pizza here again in the future. I WILL try the gelato, because I hear nothing but accolades. I think that was my misstep here.

They burnt at least 3 pizzas before they got one right, which was still burnt on one side. Sauce was way to runny. Andolinis is much better.

Took my daughter to eat at STG pizzaria in down town Tulsa on Saturday, Febuary 21. We ordered our pizza and beer. It was busy and we didn't mind waiting for a table. We waited about 20 minutes for the first available table along with the two groups of people after us.But, then this guy that I later found out was the owner, came in with his friends and took the table that became available. I told him I wanted my money back and he asked why. I told him we have been waiting and all he could say was " Its saturday, you can expect to wait. " What a Piece of trash ! Take care of yourself before you take care of your customers. I would not spend my money in this restaurant or Andolini's. All I can say is WOW !

Went here recently for their pizza after seeing a show near the Blue Dome District. The environment is great but we felt the pizza wasn't anything above average. They have mostly off-the-wall menu items. If you're in the mood for a standard pizza, this may not be your best option. But the pizza we did order wasn't bad and we had an overall good experience. I'd probably rate the pizza three stars but STG Pizzeria gets to four stars because their gelato selection. If you're up for gelato and in downtown, this is a good place to stop by. They are moderately priced and have a wide range of flavors. The Lemon Biscotti was our favorite!

Pizza was burned so badly it was inedible. The Coke I ordered was tepid. Way overpriced, too.

Really cool hipster pizza place. We had the caprese salad which was huge. It comes with red pepper flakes which makes it a little spicy. No crackers or bread come with it. We got one Americana pizza. Very yummy. I loved the mozzarella on the pizza. We had beers and also some gelato. They do over free samples of gelato which was nice. We settled on creme brûlée with salted caramel and Caramel macchiato gelato. There are highchairs and outside seating. We really enjoyed our food here and the staff was very nice.
