This is a rant in regards to service and nothing more... Hey. It's Starbucks and they are a dime-a-dozen. So, in the grand scheme of things, the only difference between the myriad of locations is service. Now, if you have read any of my previous posts, you know that I despise coffee as a norm. (I am a tea drinker by choice.) Well, after having such a good experience at Cafe DuMonde in New Orleans, I thought I would give coffee a try and I chose Starbucks. I mean 1 billion locations and about that many customers can not all be wrong. Right? Well, unfortunately, the nearest location to me is the Brookside location. I have been there 3 times and it is now an official strikeout. I have lost count on the number of huffs, rolled eyes, snarky comments, and overall faux-superiority that I feel like bitch slapping each and everyone in there. Do not forget, I have only been there 3 times! Geez... No one should get that kind of treatment from a bunch of snarky teenagers. ... Oh ... Dear God! I have turned into my father! Oh the humanity... Oh [insert whatever statement you like!] Now that I am officially an old curmudgeon, I would rather go get my prostate checked than ever step one toe into the Brookside Starbucks ever again. Just in case, I have been to both the Utica Square location and 51st & Harvard location. Both had extremely helpful staff that greeted me with a smile and took the time to answer questions from this coffee neophyte. I appreciate that a lot. I mean... Come on... The Brookside Starbucks could have had a repeat customer for life if they would not have found my questions such a pain and bother. (And no, I made sure not to ask the difference between X and Y when they were busy. I am a turd, but at least I am a respectful turd.) So, the point is, if you are a Starbucks fanatic and know the lingo, then the Brookside Starbucks teenage hooligans will find you some kind of god and run off to tweet about just how cool you are, but, if you have a question or concern, then get ready to see that "Aw... Dad..." look that parents the world over hate with a passion.

It's Labor Day, and I know it must suck to work this morning. However, I was greeted right when I walked in the door, and the employees were so friendly and upbeat! Probably the most pleasant Starbucks experience I've had. Not 5 stars though, because my iced chai tea latte was slightly too sweet.

Ugh-service was horrendous. There was an employee mopping with no regard for anyone in the store-literally mopping next to our feet ,while customers danced around to avoid getting in his way.Not only rude but not safe(no signs posted or excuse me's or anything)Starbucks are usually a pretty safe bet for your caffeine fix, but his location, while in a very neat part of Tulsa sucks completely due to service. Drink OK.

I really enjoy this store because it's so much bigger and I can come and chill out without feeling like I'm on a NY Subway!! LOL! The staff is really nice and they know their stuff!! They also have a wide variety of stuff to blow your cash on located on the shelves like coffee cups and coffee extras!! Lots of fun & relaxation at this store! Also if you haven't tried the watermelon taffy, it's awesome!!!

That's right. I'm giving this Starbucks 4 stars. This location always impresses me with their kind staff and efficiency. With a Jimmy Johns across the street I've found a routine in grabbing a sandwich and coffee to go before hopping on 44 to OKC. But really, the baristas have it down here. They seem to be genuinely kind and are certainly always helpful. Have you ever been scared to ask for a cup of water at a Starbucks? You won't be here. Inside there are a few tables usually commandeered by people who come to catch up. This isn't a spot I would recommend to come get work done as the wifi is pretty slow and it's a bustling grab and go atmosphere in general. The outdoor patio is prime in summer nights with a book, cake pop and dark roast!

this is my favorite Starbucks, it can get busy and its much better than Utica and has the best atmosphere of all of them in the Tulsa area, its seems super gay/artsy/preppy though

This store has its own personality and is a favorite of my riding group for post ride coffee. Good vibes, staff and coffee.
