Expensive, average tasting food. I ate at the smashburger this weekend. Here are ny notes: The burger was not too bad, but for a $7 burger (not including a side) it was too pricey. The seasoned fires were too oily and over seasoned. Also, the amount of fries was less than expected. The fired pickles were okay, but not special. OK smashburger - $7 Seasoned Fries - $2 Fried Pickles - $2 Overall it was overpriced average food. There was also not much variety in food choices. If you want a GOOD burger with a side included at no extra cost, go with The Brook (on Brookside). The smashburger is a waste of your time and money.

Not enough bang for the buck. Not that the food was bad, the burger and fries were excellent, Not over greasy and not over salty. Too bad I won't be returning because there's too many other places just as good for half the price.

This Smashburger was again fantastic. I really have no complaints at all. Prompt service, mouthwatering burgers and excellent fries (not full of grease). Haven't tried the shakes yet, but if they are anything like the food than certainly thumbs up. The prices are a little higher here than a typical burger place, but I would put Smashburger up against IN N OUT any day of the week. I wish there was a 4.5 star rating. The only reason this isn't five stars is just due to the somewhat smaller portions for the price.

If you are in burger mode and want to know you are going to get a fresh one, Smashburger is your JAM. Burger? Black bean burger? Or, opt for chicken in between those buns? Smashburger can create a unique masterpiece with all of your favorites. I usually tend to 'build my own' but when I went last night I ordered the mushroom swiss with a black bean burger and an order of onion straws. It is as mouthwatering as it sounds! And... it got better: Can you say nutterbutter milkshake? MMHMM. Service was excellent as always and the restaurant was spotless. This location has booth and table seating indoors as well as a lovely patio I plan on frequenting on in the fall. Thanks for satisfying my craving, Smashburger! One burger at a time.

Solid burger experience, crisp fries and tasty bun. Shakes made with Hagen Das are excellent. Service and atmosphere are reliable. Fried pickles can sometimes have a slightly strong flavor. When your in the mood for cow this the the place to get your fix!

Oklahoma Burger is delicious! Fried pickles, haystack onions, and a nice size piece of meat on a burger bun...yes! The regular is plenty big, so you don't need a double unless you're just starving. As some earlier reviews mentioned, it's "pricey" for just a burger, but it's not the same as a fast food hamburger. You're paying for 100% fresh, never frozen, made to order meat. You have to wait up to 10 minutes until your meal is fully cooked, but so worth it! It's not as greasy, and you don't feel like a whale afterward. Great location in the Tulsa Hills shopping center. They supposedly have great shakes, but I opted for the yummy Peachwave frozen yogurt next door afterward. :)

The burgers are mediocre and over priced. The service at this particular smash burger been terrible since they opened. I can't fathom they're still open with their overall poor offering.

For a chain, this is a good burger. I had the Oklahoma burger with fried pickles, onion strings, ranch dressing, and all the other trimmings. It was tasty. I ordered the smashfries, but Mrs. Eva's sweet potato fries were better. The service was very good and they checked on us frequently. Not a bad choice for a good meal.

My husband and I went to Smashburger for the first time on Saturday. We were standing at the counter looking at the menu and asking a few questions regarding options, etc. and another couple came into the store, pushed ahead of us and placed their order! The wait staff did not do anything or say anything to the rude customers. This started our experience off on the wrong foot and it just went down hill from there. The restaurant was FREEZING and every customer in the place was eating with their coats on! The food runner took our food to another table and left it. The people at the other table discussed our order for a few minutes trying to decide if it was theirs or not and when they finally decided that it wasn't theirs and the runner brought it to our table, the food was no longer hot. We spent almost $20.00 for two of us to get burgers, 1 order of fries, 1 beer and water and the food was definitely not worth the price. If we're going to spend that much money at a fast food restaurant, I expect the restaurant to be warm, the food to be hot and the people working there to know their job!

Let me make it known up front that I am only rating THIS particular location right now, not Smashburger as a whole. I was extremely frustrated with the lousy service given to me at this location. My boyfriend and I had never been to Smashburger before (and haven't been since), and we figured we'd give it a shot. We went in, stood in the back for a few minutes to gather our thoughts, and then went up to order. The cashier was less than enthused about life, and even less than enthused about helping us with even the slightest hint of politeness. We paid, way too much, and went to sit down, keeping in mind that we were told these were amazing burgers. It started to get crowded in the restaurant, five minutes passed, ten minutes passed, fifteen minutes passed... still no food. People who had come in after us were getting their food. People who were already there when we were there had eaten and were leaving. There was no food for us... The manager came over, after staring at us for about five minutes, and asked how we were enjoying our stay. We said we had been there for awhile and had received out food yet. He "went to check on it" and ten more minutes passed. He finally came up to us and was "surprised" we weren't eating. Apparently, according to them, the computer didn't properly register our order, and so they were going to *JUST THEN* add it to the lineup. I was infuriated, but starving. We were given coupons to use when we came in again (thinking that we ever would again). There were meaningless "sorries" and then finally the meal came up. The food wasn't horrible, but nowhere near as good as the restaurant claims. Never again will we go to a place to be treated like that again. It was a waste of our time, money, and patience!

Had the big Oklahoma with sweet potato Smashfries. Burger had good flavor and Smashfries were good. Service was great yesterday at lunch too.

Have been to both locations and I've got to say. It's a damn good burger! Okay, maybe it's just the haystack onions, but with Fuddrucker's across the street (on 71st near Hwy 169), it's no contest. I like it. There, I said it. I like a chain restaurant. ARRRRGGGH!

Great fries, great burgers, Had better but not in Tulsa. Makes for a great lunch something beyond the fast food joints.

First of all, it's not McDonald's, so don't expect $3 burgers. It's salty and it's good. I've been here 3 times and it has been packed every time, so don't believe the stars these other reviewers are giving.

So far I've not had a bad experience at Smashburger. My order always came out quickly. The food is hot, and delicious. Sure, it's a little pricey, but for what it is, I think it's reasonable. The rosemary seasoned fries are killer good as well. Try them once and see for yourself.

Sadly, I gotta say I wasn't impressed. In their defense, I didn't get a burger. I had the Baja chicken sandwich. Which was NOT good. The chicken was some kinda weird frozen chicken thing shaped like a chicken breast. I wasn't impressed.

I like the burgers, love the chicken, and love the veggie fries, but the prices are pretty high for what you get. Sides aren't included and a burger can run you $6 or $7, so by the time you get a sandwich, fries and a drink you're looking at about $10-$11, which is way too much for lunch in west Tulsa. I go get a chicken sandwich to go as a treat sometimes, but I couldn't afford to eat here for lunch very often.

Had my first smash burger 2day... First off, its in a chain shopping center, so we are not off to a good start. Walking in it was packed with little kiddos and parents. The inside reminds me walking into a chipotle if chipotle served burgers. Very minimalist, cement floors with no decorations on the walls. It took 10 minutes for me to secure a table and sit down with my food number in hand. It came out fast and hot. It tasted fresh but ordinary. Burger, fries and a soda cost me $9.50. If you asked me to describe the experience in one word it would be "Ordinary".

The burgers are very good. The meat has good flavor to it. Not wild about the sides but the burgers are the star of this menu so I've been back on several occasions.

Yum! Smashburger is really good, I like how there are options and you don't have to get a huge burger. The fries are really tasty. Next time I'm trying the chicken!

My thoughts: - Good-tasting, pan fried burger - Not as good as other pan fried places I've been (Fat Burger, etc) - Good value for kids meal (we brought a little one) - Fries were not that great (we just had the plain ones and I was a little let down) - I agree with others that it is over-priced - Good selection of specialty burgers and customized options - Staff is really friendly (I think manager's name is Paolo - very outgoing, knowledgeable and friendly)
