This is one of those places you look at and you think "eh im hungry so i guess ill risk it..." But when you walk in, you feel at home. Some old school andry griffith is playing on a tv, the employees very friendly and helpful, and the food....god lord, it is absolutely fantastic! !! :-)

We had the westside burger combo--a real old fashioned cheeseburger on crunchy Texas toast -- yumalicious! The owner made us "a sample" of the boneless chicken and jalapeno chicken, which turned out to be a basketful each, added to the mountain of food that came with the combo, we could each eat for two days! Doesn't look like much on the outside but don't be discouraged. Enjoyed Andy Griffith on the TV too!

Great food! Tried the jalapeño chick basket and a bacon cheese burger! The food was fresh, hot, and delish! The portion sizes were plenty!!! My whole family was very pleased. Free refills on the soda!!! By far the best burger around...

My dad, grandma, and I visited the new location on Admiral a few days ago. The owners are super nice and the food is fantastic. We all ordered burgers and they were great about my order: plain with mustard only. I get a lot of flack sometimes for ordering my burger this way. I also requested tator tots rather than French fries. Our food came promptly to our table and was delicious. We also ordered a to go meal for my husband Kenny; a cheeseburger combo. We chatted with the owners and I even got some great advice on where to travel to on our Dallas trip this fall. I highly recommend this establishment.

Love this place. The burgers are greasy the way God intended. The fries are good and the tots too. The chicken basket was huge for one person to eat. We have gone several times and liked everything we have ordered. We will go again for sure

Good double cheese burger and fries - old fashion style! Definite thumbs up for Andy Griffith Show being on TV!

Small place with line of people about 18" from you if you are seated on the left. It was loud and the Andy Griffith show just added to the din. The hamburger came in a cute red basket with cheerful checked paper on a huge nest of fries. Hamburger was okay, fresh veggies. The bun was greasy and stuck to my teeth, that has never happened and was distracting. I ordered fries, my husband onion rings, they brought us both fries. They were very busy so, we didn't complain. Crinkle cut fries nicely seasoned, but I am not crazy about crinkle. Pepsi products. Unless you can eat a really lot, there are double amount of fires any one person can eat. I hate to waste food, I was raised with, "eat your food, there are people starving in India."

Our favorite burger place. My husband gets the jalapeño chicken basket and the chicken is tender & great flavor. The burgers are a thin patty but taste great, you can get them in a kid bun to limit bread intake. People there are super friendly. It's reasonably priced & you get lots of fries. We eat here pretty much once a week.

I love this old place. Interesting to think it has been around for over 40 years. No fancy 100 item burger menu here. What you will find is a delicious basic tasty burger fries and a soda. Linda Mar Drive-In is what every old burger joint hopes to be in its old age. Still good. Still in operation.

Oh yes, Linda Mar. I used to get a wonderful spaghetti meal from this place many years ago and had forgotten about it until I was getting some gas from the new QT Kitchens over there the other day. This is absolutely a great place to stop for some food and even better if you're traveling passed on the highway right next to it from another state and would like to get something local without stopping and buying fake meat from McDonald's. Enjoy it and you're welcome in advance!

Andy Griffith on the tv. Friendly service. Ordered the west side burger combo. Enough fries to feed a small country. Very well seasoned. Burger was very good.

I go to school at TU which is a good 5-10 miles away and I don't mind driving out at least twice a week to get take-out from Linda Mar. Their burgers are to die for, but what's really amazing about their menu is the jalapeño chicken basket which comes with a MOUNTAIN of French fries (I've never been able to finish it). If you're craving a burger, please do yourself a favor and stay away from the processed meat of McDonald's. Go to Linda Mar instead. What you pay is slightly more (around 8 dollars), but you know what you're eating is 100% real.

Just got here and ordered. I asked to use the restroom. The restroom is in the kitchen. There is NO soap of any kind in this very dirty bathroom. How do the employees wash their hands????? Also the A/C is terrible. I'm SO hot and wondering how safe my food will be to eat. HTF can they not have hand soap???

One of the top rated burgers in the country. I don't believe it's the best burger in Tulsa, Hank's is. Linda Marr is top notch goodness. The burgers are delicious and the onion rings and fries are yummy. Andy Griffith plays on the tv and adds a bit of nostalgia to your dining experience. If you are burger lover, you need to visit. DO IT.

I'd never even heard of this place until I read about it in a review in the paper two days ago. Naturally, I stopped by yesterday after the glowing review. If you don't know the area, you may get lost a couple of times (like I did) but it's worth the search. One of those places that can be in the most obscure locations that the locals know and keep it going. I had the burger with all the trimmings with onion rings and a drink. Seven bucks and I couldn't finish the rings! They made a nice Midnight snack though. The burger was SO filling! I'm sure I'll be back next week to stuff myself again!

I've been meaning to go to Linda Mar for a long time, but I always stopped at their main competition just down the street. Hey, I tried that one first because they had a coupon, and the hooked me. :-) But I decided I was going to give this place a fair chance. After all, Linda Mar and it's competitor just a stone's throw away have been co-existing nearly side-by-side for years, and while I understood how the competitor was making it, I still had to know what I was missing with Linda Mar. I don't know that I would call Linda Mar "fast food." It's fast, to be sure. It actually didn't take that much longer to get my burger from these folks than it would have if I had gone into a fast food joint. But this is more of a "Hamburger Stand," which is completely different. There are some similarities, to be sure. Like I said, you get your food quickly and the cost is reasonable: I paid just under $3 for a burger, which is certainly in the area of what you'll pay at a fast-food joint for a burger like this. Fast food joints are fine. I hit the drive thru about once a week for a little fix. But there are times when you have a fever, and only a real burger will do. Dollar burgers at the drive-thru are okay when you just need a quick something to give you a taste of the good stuff.... but at Linda Mar, this IS the good stuff. This is the burger that the fast food joints are trying to emulate.... and with a few notable exceptions, can't. This burger will take you back to your childhood, when getting a burger was a real treat. Mustard, lettuce, onion, and beef that was seasoned and seared on the flat-top grill to get a little crust. Frankly, it's Burger Nirvana. There's a Westside Burger, which is two beef patties and two slices of cheese on Texas toast, but the regular burger is plenty beefy for most of us. There is no drive-thru, if that bothers you. It doesn't me, but be warned: The place is hot. Let me repeat: The place is HOT. I'm sure it's due to the building's age, but the heat in the place does not disperse for anything, so I can't recommend eating in -house during these hot days unless you don't mind eating in the heat. They lost a star for the sides, which all looked like pre-frozen stuff that I don't bother with when I'm out. But by and large, I can easily see why this place has held its ground over the years. Are they better than those guys just down the street? Oh, don't make me choose! I can't! I won't! But I *will* be back to get another burger. These folks do it old school, and they do it right. Linda Mar is a true local hamburger stand. We're very lucky to live in a town that still has those.

I've been eating here for a long time. The staff is very friendly, the place is very clean and the food is excellent. The second best thing is you get to watch Andy Griffith on TV. One of my favorite shows when I was a kid. Great place to eat anytime of day.
