I took my Persian friend there against his advice. He stays away from strip shopping center restaurants. He said it was the best food he had eaten in quite some time! Now for my American perspective. I love Mediterranean food, but I usually have to travel some distance to get it so my frequency is low. The grape leave wraps were great, as was the tabouli. The Persian salad was very fresh. The meat dishes were great as well and the buffet style setup keeps you from leaving hungry. My restaurant for Mediterranean food in Tulsa!

First time at Leena's. What a great experience! We ordered the chicken shawarma. Awesome flavor and the perfect seasoning. Last time we got a shawarma like these ones, it was when we were in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Excellent choice to be in Tulsa!

After finishing what I could of my take-out order, I exclaimed to my wife that this was new favorite restaurant in town. She questioned the soundness of my decision, despite having only been there once. I stand by my sentiments and exclaim again that this is my new favorite establishment in Tulsa. While there are decent and acceptable Mediterranean places in Tulsa, there hasn't really been on that I would describe as excellent...until now. Leena's not only provides quantity, but tons of quality as everything that I had was very obviously fresh. You can opt for a sandwich or go for a platter, which I recommend. They have a fast casual/cafeteria concept, where you place your order and then go down the line selecting your sides and fixins' for the platter, or mezze as it's called there. They offered various types of hummus, baba ganoush, salads, and vegetables. I ordered the two meet platter ($15.99), and selected the kaftka kabob (a ground meet kabob that's a bit on the spicy side) and chicken schwarma. The kabob was cooked to order and remained juicy despite the car ride home. The schwarma on the other hand, despite being well seasoned, was a bit on the dry side. I sampled all 3 types of hummus, with the cumin one being my favorite. The baba ganoush was fantastic as the smokiness of the eggplant came through, but not so much as to over power the rest of the ingredients. The Italian green beans, stewed in tomatoes, were great. Also, I'm not a big okra fan, but their okra, also stewed in tomatoes and spices, was pretty tasty. The kibbeh (a dip made up of cracked wheat and spices), a particular favorite of mine that has been hard to find, was excellent. I was just disappointed that they weren't offering fried cauliflower, but the mezze selections rotate daily. So more reason to go back. The mezze selections themselves are so good, that I could just go back for a mezze platter. I'm also glad to see that they offer, family meals, so that if friends and family or in town, you can order enough good so that everyone can get a good sampling. That space itself is large and clean. However, I'm a bit concerned because when we went around 6:00 on a Saturday evening, there was only 3 tables of people there. We've lived in the area for 3 years and I've seen 4 different businesses try to make it at the location. Hopefully word of mouth regarding the quality Leena's offers will help the business grow. I know they have a fan following from their days at the mall. I was honestly stuffed with goodness and had leftovers the next day. With the amount of food they give you, I'd say just stick with the single meat platter. But it's hard to say no to so many tasty options.

So I'm driving down Memorial drive minding my own business when all of the sudden I look to my right and notice a restaurant that I have never seen before! What?! It is a Mediterranean restaurant!!! So I make an immediate decision that I will be trying this place out soon. A few short days later on a Saturday afternoon I hopped in my truck and headed East down 71st street. I was on a mission. When I pulled into the parking lot I felt that tinge of excitement....all of my fellow foodies out there in Yelp-land know what I'm talking about. I looked over the menu on the wall and just didn't know what I wanted. I asked the girl behind the counter and she suggested going with the 1 or 2 meat combo. I went with the 1 meat combo and was able to fill my plate with a ton of different sides. Everything was excellent. I enjoyed it so much I went back Sunday afternoon for lunch. I'll definitely go back again. Great food, clean restaurant and friendly staff. That's a win in my book. P.S. Their lemonade is excellent! Add a few slices of lemon for some pucker-up-zing!

I'm going to start this off by saying I wish we could give 1/2 stars. 3 is too low, 4 is maybe too high.......allow me to explain...... Mediterranean food being my favorite in the universe, I was anxious to try Leena's. I like the concept....cafeteria style, which allowed me to get a little of everything, seriously practically everything. I don't see how they do it for the price. I think my dinner was 18.00....because I ordered steak ($2 extra). That was for a Meze platter and two meets. On the line I skipped the items that were not mediterranean (imho), like a typical american salad. I was very encouraged to see that the tabouli was mostly parsley....folks, I hate to break it to you, but tabouli that is mostly bulghur/grain really is not tabouli at all. It was good, as was the hummus, and baba ganoush. If I go back I will load up my Meze platter with these 3 items and the roasted vegetables and skip everything else. The meat on the line might've been good, but it didn't look too appetizing. I wasn't sure if it had been sitting there in liquid since the lunch crowd, or was fresh and waiting for the dinner crowd. I played it safe and instead, ordered from the menu, grilled steak kabob and kafta. Both were good.... a little salty for me, but I am pretty much a salt-free kind of gal, so that's not an atypical comment. Didn't try the baklava although it looked very good. For value, this place is great. And you can certainly build a good and healthy meal. Was it great? No...but I've dined in Istanbul, and had an experience like no other, so maybe I'm not quite fair. I will be back, stay tuned.

Food is outstanding. Have been there twice, both times in groups and everyone loves their meals. The Meza allows you to select multiple side items so you can try many things in one sitting. Hummus and babaganoush are delicious! Gyros is cooked to perfection. I will continue to eat here when I am in town.

Very good! I had the gyro then split tabouli, chickpea salad, and stuffed grape leaves with friends. It was all good, but mu favorites were the gyro and tabouli. I also had baklava, which was ok, but not my favorite. Go there for everything else, though. You'll be pleased.

Great service, very nice people, delicious food. The cauliflower is a god send. The pita bread was a little crunchy for my taste but the hummus was excellent!

Second time coming to their location here. So delicious every time. Today I had the chicken shawarma platter with all the sides, onions, and extra yogurt sauce. Everything was fresh and full of flavor, just like I expected. I made the drive from Bartlesville, just to have my fill of Lebanese. I will be taking some left overs home and even got a to go order for lunch tomorrow. Soo tasty worth trying if you have never been. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant is always cool and clean. :)

Delicious!! Gorge on a lunch special platter for $10...enough incredible food for 2 meals. Endless options--6 salads, 3 hummus flavors, baba ganoush, 4 meat options (even fish and authentic Persian beef-pomegranate stew), roasted veggies. Super fresh, flavorful, healthy!!, and an amazing value.

So...I read all the great reviews on here about this place and thought that I would give it a try. Being that it is cafeteria style I really did not think that the food would be that good or fresh. Boy, was I wrong. The food was so fresh and delicious. The falafel was perfectly cooked and was delightful. The fatoush, hummus, baba ganoush, and tabouli were fresh and very good. This place is the real deal and I will definitely be back to try more on the menu.

I saw all the great reviews and had a Groupon so wanted to give it a try. We usually go to Ali Baba Med. Grill on 51st St. which can be hit and miss for us just due to selection - you never know what veggies they will have out that day, and some we like more then others. About Leena's - I feel like this place has a lot of potential...but really fell flat in a lot of ways that means we will likely not be back. The negatives: Almost all the food was uncovered. The gyro meat was luke-warm, dried up, and hard. It seems they gave me the dried outer parts, that had I looked at them, I would have never served in my own home. I am sure the inner stuff would have been fine....if it had been an appropriate, safe temp. I did try a few pieces and it tasted alright - not the best, nor the worst I've ever had. The uncovered dishes would have been fine - most was cold stuff - except they had flies. Now, every one gets flies, doors open, etc. But what bothered me was the fact that I was sitting there watching this fly land in the open food trays. Almost land in my plate as he walked away to get things for us - and when I commented he says, yes, we have been having problems with those in the afternoon! and of course, I think - well...cover up your food! The baba ganoush was horrific. It really tasted like they added liquid smoke to their food. I do not mind real, natural, lightly smoked things. My partner does not mind heavily smoked things. It was too heavy for even him. You may love it. We did not. The pasta salad was the blandest thing on the whole plate. It was over-cooked tri-colored pasta with feta and banana pepper slices. It tasted like it was only seasoned with the juice from the banana peppers and olive oil. The feta was in large chunks and didn't really add anything to it unless you happened to get a piece of the feta with every bite. They had a berry and mushroom salad - the mushrooms were raw, which was fine but, they hadn't really had a chance to absorb any of the flavors. They were also not cleaned very well, which is a hard task, I admit. They had pita chips but they were so dark brown I knew they would be as hard as a rock so i didn't get any. The positives - the veggies were quite fresh and crisp. The hummus - both the roasted veggie and the banana pepper humus was very good. The cucumber yogurt sauce was also very good, and they were generous with the amount they gave you. The tabouli was also pretty good, though I thought the parsley needed to be a bit finer chopped - but that's just personal preference. Flavor wise it was great. The seating is just fine, and the place is well lit and pleasant. The guy that worked there was very polite and friendly, didn't have a problem explaining what was available to us, which can be a problem over at ali baba. So yeah, over all I think it's fine....but the flies, the luke-warm food, the not quite all the way clean mushrooms, and the nasty baba ganoush which is a fav of ours over at Ali's means we will continue to go there instead of Leena's.

BEST FALAFEL I've ever eaten! I recommend the falafel sand which or the falafel platter. The menu has sandwiches, lunch specials, & a buffet. The place has lots of seating & natural light.

Went for lunch for the first time. The cafeteria style service was good and the food was fresh. Staff was friendly and efficient just needs to lose the gum. We still like Ali Baba at 51st and Yale the best for Mediterranean food. Have eaten there dozens of times and never been disappointed, maybe once when they forgot the sauce but that was probably a language issue, I speak Texan.. Both restaurants are the same distance from my office so I would choose Ali's.

Very good food, especially for the price. We were very confused by the menu and all the funky names as it is authentic Mediterranean. Once we got the hang of how to order, I was very pleased with everything. The staff is still kind of getting comfortable because they opened two weeks ago, but they are very kind and will help with anything you need. Coming back for sure!

Fan-freakin'-tastic. I don't usually give 5 star reviews, even to my favorite restaurants, because it seems like there's always something they can improve. Maybe a pizza place has fantastic pizza, but their wings are just okay or their garlic bread isn't very garlicky, that kind of thing. But Leena's is perfect. The only thing I'd change at all is to remove the automatically playing music on their website. ;) The restaurant is bright and clean. There's a lot of seating, all of it pretty comfortable. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. And the food is just amazing. The classic hummus equals the best I've ever had, but the roasted garlic and sundried tomato hummus we had today was out of this world. The tabbouleh is very heavy on the parsley, which I love. The pita is hot and just a little fluffy. I've had the chicken shawarma, the gyro (incredibly tender and flavorful), and the sujuk (had never had it before, it's a slightly spicy sausage) as meat options, all really delicious. But the falafel takes the cake, either on their own or in a wrap with tahini sauce, tomatoes, pickles, and parsley. They have a huge selection of mezze. You can get the mezze platter and just walk down the cafeteria-like line and pick out what you want - different types of hummus, roasted vegetables, tabbouleh, salads, etc. It's great price-wise, too. The wraps are about $6 each and come with one side. They are large and very filling.

So impressed with this place! Really authentic, fresh, high quality Lebanese food. I was a little turned off by the cafeteria style at first, but when I got the chance to load my plate up with amazing things, I was hooked! You have to get the mezze platter where they literally let you fill a huge plate with everything you want-- hummus, salads, vegetables, pita bread, omg! It did end up taking quite awhile to get the meat part of our meat mezze platter, so we ate all the sides as a starter instead of sides. But incredible value! Ah I am so excited to have this place nearby!

Awesome restaurant! I've missed them since they closed in Woodland Hills Mall a few years back. The menu is the same as I remember it and it has the same owners. Someone posted a picture of the baby okra in some kind of sauce. I don't know what it is, but it's Great! I tend to get the vegetarian platter the most, but will start trying others. GREAT way to eat healthy with very tasty food.

So after today's indulgence I was craving healthy but tasty and yelp helped me discovered this excellent Mediterranean Restaurant 1 mile from my hotel. The chicken kabob was juicy and seasoned to perfection! A must try! I absolutely loved the Mediterranean slaw salad! The hummus was very good and the fattoush was out of this world! You make Tulsa proud!

Simply awesome authentic Mediterranean food, which is the healthiest food you can eat, and at a great price! I get the Lunch Feast and for $10 usually have enough food left for a nice sized after dinner snack! Very friendly staff. Best value.

My wife and i went there for lunch and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the lunch platter because i wanted to try a little bit of everything on the line. It was all very good and super flavorful. The ingredients tasted fresh and the basil hummus was spectacular. My wife ordered the beef shawarma and loved it. The beef was very good and packed a lot of flavor. We will be back.
