I love Indian food. I love India Palace. I love their buffet during lunch and all the delicious stuff they sell off the menu the rest of the day. Great service and great food. Plus it's never super loud in the restaurant, so you can chat with friends and family while you eat. I highly recommend trying everything. Everything.

I've been going to India Palace for a few years - way before I became vegan. They have provided outstanding service, delicious food, and a warm welcome without fail since I started going there. The décor is a little outdated and I think it's kind of a shame that they don't use the bar, but this place is incredible. The Chana Masala and Vegetable Pakora are my favorite, and I'm pretty sure I could eat it as long as they kept bringing it out. Have the owner show you how to mix the three sauces that come with the lentil wafers that come before the meal. You'll thank me later!

I was traveling for work and stopped in here one night for a table for one. The staff was extremely gracious, attentive, and helpful. The food was great and the servings large! You will definitely need to get a to-go box of you're a party of one. Will go back next time I'm in the Tulsa area!

Tried seafood curry with rice. Just ok. Good is their pickles and associated onion salad. Waiters seemed disengaged though manager tried to please customers.

The lunch and Sunday buffets are the best way to test the various flavors and tastes. The creamed spinach doesn't always look appetizing to Americans but it is so delicious and you must try anything with khorma sauce.

Really delicious food! The puri ordered was crispy, soft and piping hot. It tastes really good with the chicken tikka kebab also the chicken tikka masala! The seafood curry was a delight too! A place to check out and definitely will be coming back for more!!!

Good food. Simple choices. All food labeled. Quick seating. Nice host. Quiet spot. A little high in price for the amount of food and choice.

Ordered the Onion Bhajis(which were great) and Lamb Curry, I ordered it spicy and it came as mild as could be. Everything tasted great though and the staff was nice and attentive.

I've eaten Indian food all over this nation, DC, SF, Chicago, etc., and India Palace is at least as good as the best places in any of the cities I've been. They don't mark vegan items on the menu, and what is vegan depends on the day one goes but, they have always worked with me and I've always eaten something delicious when I go. One has to spend time and engage with them, some wait staff have a language barrier, explain no diary, butter, milk, eggs, etc., I've even had to tell them they can use coconut oil and coconut cream/milk but, they are pleasant and easy to work with. It sounds like a lot of work, I know, but this is Tulsa. Vegans must be prepared to get their hands dirty in order to eat here. Also, the work you put in will pay off when the food comes out and you put a load in your face. It is really very good food.

Best Indian food in town! The waitstaff are always attentive. I love the Chai and their home made paneer (cheese). The dishes can be made more mild or spicy depending on your taste. Everything is delicious.

I keep coming here year after year and now it seems we come here at least twice a week. Service is always amazing *if the owner is around* and they have a really great beer from India called Taj...not always in stock but definately a must have if you're in the mood for a tasty beer with your indian food. We love it!

Every time I go to India Palace I have a great experience. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful and they always keep your drinks refilled. The food is excellent! Do yourself a favor and go there!

As a hobby we like to travel, and we've made it a point to seek out every Indian restaurant we can find. India Palace is the benchmark by which all others are rated and it always comes out on top as our favorite Indian restaurant. If you've not stopped in and enjoyed the lunch buffet then your missing out!

I love this place! My favorite dish is the lamb saag (saag gosht). I also really like the chicken tikka masala. The lunch buffet is excellent for trying a variety of dishes. The service is always excellent and the food is always delicious. This is one of the restaurants that I like to take visitors to and even people who have never tried Indian food love it.

India Palace is a great representative of Indian cuisine in Tulsa. It has an authentic, intimate atmosphere and super friendly wait staff. The food is mouth watering delicious. My husband and I can speak for the chicken curry and the lamb punjabi, both being very flavorful, with juicy meat pieces. Their naan is fluffy and almost melts in your mouth. The only thing that was off, was my iced chai. Definitely not the best I've ever had. It tasted very watered down. It Didn't have that spicy, sweet taste. However, they gave it to us on the house because it came out late. An almost win-win. I should add, if you are in a hurry to eat and get out, get their food to go. The atmosphere is very, very relaxed.

Growing up eating Indian food at home on a daily basis has generally caused me to opt for any cuisine but Indian when we go out to dinner. I guess it just doesn't feel like "going out" if everything we order is really similar to what Mom would have on our dinner table at home. But, since I've moved away from home and don't really know how to cook Indian food, India Palace is my opportunity to get a taste of home away from home. The service is wonderful - everyone is really friendly and makes sure we enjoy our meal. The food is delicious - lots of variety and everything tastes exactly as it should. It bugs me when you eat an Indian meal that is unnecessarily heavy and greasy. While Indian food isn't exactly the lightest fare, it doesn't require excess grease and cream. Luckily, India Palace dishes are well balanced and full of flavor. Also, the pricing is great! Finally, catering with India Palace is just the best. My husband and I had an engagement party in Tulsa 2 years ago at the Mayo Hotel. As we're both from Indian backgrounds it was pretty much mandatory that we serve an Indian meal for dinner. We had quite a bit of trouble dealing with the Mayo staff - they were just complicated and presented all sorts of unnecessary obstacles just weeks and days before our event. However, despite the difficulty in dealing with the Mayo, India Palace was able to put together a DELICIOUS meal that wowed our VERY discerning guests (including our extremely picky parents). They did it all with a smile even though we became well aware of the frustrating hurdles that the Mayo staff presented them with. I would definitely pay India Palace a visit if you're ever in the mood for a delicious Indian meal! As a tip - go with a group and order family style so you can try a couple dishes to balance out the meal. If you're just going alone, go for lunch and try their buffet.

The best food in Tulsa. India Palace combines nice Indian ambiance with amazing good for vegetarians and those of us that love our Chicken Tika Masala and many other exotic dishes from India. The service is good and they remember you and greet you. Don't forget to have chia that is better than you will find anywhere except my moms.

India Palace is among the best Punjabi food I have tasted. This restaurant has been in Tulsa for decades, and is definitely the best authentic Indian food in Tulsa. Everything is fresh and delicious. The service is wonderful, great at handling large and complicated orders. Everyone is warm and kind and wants to take care of you. The portion sizes are incredibly generous. A must-go if you like Indian food. Drinks: mango or salt lassi. Can't go wrong Appetizers: Their best appetizer is their samosa, closely followed by pakora. Pappadum with tamarind and mint chutneys are complimentary, and if you like spicy food you can ask them for their spicy onion-chutney as well. Food: The best way to eat here is to go in a large group and order family style. While the buffet has a nice variety of tasty food, food ordered off the menus tastes so much better. Among the vegetarian entres, my favorites are the paneer makhani and the malai kofta. The saag paneer and bhangan bharta are always well-received as well. All of the naans are to die for--the garlic naan and onion kulcha are my favorite. All the entres come with jeera rice, but the vegetable biriyani is also delicious. Dessert: gulab jamun or kulfi. Again, you can't go wrong.

I'm new to Tulsa and this place was just...amazing. I was so impressed with the service, the food, the atmosphere. Our waiter recommended a lamb dish as well as chicken tikka masala. We had samosas, three different types of naan, and the kulfi (Indian Ice cream which tastes similarly to run raisin) for dessert. Everything was wonderful and absolutely worth it. We will most definitely be coming back very very soon! Head over here for quality Indian food and an overall spectacular meal/experience!

Not only was this my first time eating from India Palace, but this is my very first time in Tulsa. I was exhausted from the day, so I asked around my hotel, and since they don't have an on-site restaurant, I was referred to Mr. Delivery. This service picks up your food from a restaurant of your choice and brings it to you. There's a $5.95 delivery fee, $.90 for processing, plus tax and tip. You basically end up paying $8-10 above your order, but on lazy evenings, I'd say it's definitely worth it. Okay, back to the restaurant. Obviously they work with Mr. Delivery, so I took a look at their menu online and ordered via the delivery website. I'd initially called the restaurant with a question, and the man I spoke to was super nice and helpful, and even offered to give me the number to the service. I ordered the seekh kabob and vegetable biryani - also, I made sure the spiciness level was high and I got more rice instead of vegetables. The order arrived about 45 minutes after placing, and it was delicious! Firstly, the entire order was packed incredibly well - every box (biryani, seekh, two chutneys and raita) was saran wrapped to prevent spillage and keep the food nice and warm. Warm, it was. It was basically like they'd just gotten it out. I loved that they also sent over the extra condiments; really adds on to the taste. The food wasn't as spicy as I'd like it (but I also have a high spiciness tolerance), but it was delicious, or as I normally say, delish-central! It was fresh and tasted authentic. Also, the menu is priced conservatively, and you're truly getting your money's worth, if not more. If I'm in town more, I'll definitely be eating here more. Totally suggest it!

We ordered chicken tikka masala (which isn't exactly authentic but we wanted something we were used to) and chicken vindaloo. Also tried regular naan and garlic naan. Curries come with rice so don't order rice unless you actually need more. Prices are reasonable and portions are average. The amount of curry given is a decent amount and with the rice included can easily feed 2 people. I would come back again to satisfy a craving, but quality-wise, curries were not as flavorful as I would like and a strong taste of tomato sauce pervaded every dish. Still a good place if you're in the area and want Indian food.

I am in love with this place. This is my second time here and I am a major fan of the food. The nann is amazingly soft and flavorful, the potato beans have a nice spicy flavor as well.

Best Indian Food in Tulsa. They do a really nice buffet for lunch. In the evening, you order normally from the menu. The Lamb dishes are my favorite, and the Naan variants are great, especially the garlic. The music is traditional, appropriate, and just awesome. IP has a wonderful ambiance, perfect for a date, but also great for meeting up with a bunch of friends to share a table at the end of a long week. Excellent, friendly service. If you've not been yet, it's a must.

FOOD: Delicious Indian food! And this is after having Indian food in Little India in NYC and India itself. The chicken tikki masala is a classic savory dish and more buttery than I'm used to. The chicken vindaloo is flavorful and spicy (you've been warned). I would recommend the mango lassi, a rich smoothie like drink, but not the chai, Indian spiced tea, because it's watery. SERVICE: Great service. Attentive waiters who noticed the chicken vindaloo was too spicy for my taste and gave me a mild chicken vindaloo on the house :) PRICE: Awesome value. All entrees come with a big dish of rice. LAST WORD: Wonderful place for groups or intimate dinner.

Crap food. This is not authentic. The grill platter leaves you with something to be desired. Coming from an indian person. When you walk in you see mostly whites sitting inside that tells you something.

We have moved and I will forever miss this place. I've been a customer for 14 years. From friendly service to delectable dishes, this is a top notch Indian restaurant that most Tulsans don't even know to appreciate, but a well kept secret among those that do. It is just too bad that this place is so well hidden. There are no compromises here, as the food is always fresh and expertly seasoned and served. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Been here several times since I've moved here and is one of the best places for Indian food. Every time I go the service is amazing!! Best naan and for beginners they're very good at altering your dish based on what you would like.

Never been here before, glad we decided to come! So good. The staff was really nice. We had the chicken tadoori and chicken curry. We are stuffed and have lunch tomorrow! Weird location, but very nice inside. Don't let the entrance fool you!

Incredible. So INCREDIBLE! My friend took me here and she introduced me to some AWESOME things. The atmosphere is very romantic and quiet, and quite beautiful. First to drink we had some mango lassi. I had no idea what this was, but it was very unique!!! It was like a really thick and rich mango smoothie, but pure mango. We split an order of it and it was a perfect amount. I would have thought it was like a dessert, but I liked having it before my meal. I ordered the chicken tikka masala... which I know isn't very original because almost all Americans order that... but it was SO GOOD. The flavors were so strong and the chicken was so so tender and juicy. I also ordered the garlic naan with it which was a very good choice!!! so tasty My friend ordered the chicken biryani which was a rice dish that was really moist... but not my favorite. That's just my opinion though, she loved it! To end we had the gulab jamun... it was so weird! The texture was like a sponge... but who am I to talk I know nothing about Indian food! The juice/syrup was so unique and sweet... I loved it! At the end our waiter Heaz came to talk to us about how we were doing and where we were from. He told us his favorite dish was the Tandoori Chicken because it's impossible to create without their big oven! If I'm able to rip myself away from the Tikka Masala that will be the next thing I'll try. This place was amazing, and Heaz was so nice and friendly. I'll definitely be back

Absolutely the best Indian restaurant in Oklahoma. Wonderful flavors and the Nan flat bread is excellent. Great service. They have a great lunch buffet but it is a little spendy at $11, but it is worth it. Great selection and quality on the buffet and especially on the large selection on the menu.

3.75 stars. Solid Indian food in Tulsa that stands up to the best. Near the Marriott. Nice decor. Very friendly service. Tasty, though not aggressively seasoned Indian fare. You will enjoy Indian Palace.

One of my friend complained he had stomach ache after eating here. I ignored his suggestion and had chicken Biryani here. I had stomach upset for 2 days. I would not recommend food here to anyone though this has good ratings. I also found the waiters maintain double standards with Americans and Indians

My husband and I stumbled upon this little hideaway restaurant. When we walked in we were immediately greeted and given a choice of where we wanted to sit. We were served our drinks. Then we were delighted with very authentic and yummy appetizers. We didn't know what it was but one of the many many staff was so helpful. I ordered the vegetable curry and my husband had a spicier meat curry. We both loved our dishes. The portions were perfect! Not too much, not too little. The rice was cooked to perfection and the bread we also ordered was so good, we wanted to order more, but were too full to. The manager personally came to check on how we liked our meal and asked if we would like coffee or dessert. Next time we will make sure to leave room for that part of this dining adventure! Wonderful A++++

We got takeout. While we waited, they offered us a seat and water. The food was so well packed with plastic wrap to contain any curry spillage. Everything was still hot and fresh 45 minutes later. The raita was cooling and complimented the tandoori chicken nicely. I would definitely go back!

Personally, I find the food a little bland compare to all the indian restaurants that I have eaten. Feels like they are selling volume and sacrificed quality during buffet lunch. This is my third time there. Went there for lunch on a Sunday. I had the lunch buffet. The buffet line selection is limited. Though the price is cheaper compare to Indian buffer restaurant that I know, therefore the buffet line also has fewer choice. Although, the atmosphere is nice and the staff is courtliest. It's a good place for quick lunch if you don't find the food bland.

I'm not from Tulsa, and I was pleasantly surprised to find this type of restaurant in an area where burger joints reign supreme. The entrance is almost hidden despite the large above it. They have no windows so don't bother looking for people next to a window enjoying a bowl of curry. The menu has the typical Indian dishes ranging from briyani to curry; including meats ranging from chicken to lamb. I tried the lamb curry and my friend ordered the "hot" chicken tika massala. We both ordered regular naan bread with our orders. The chicken tika massala was similar to butter chicken but with a few extra spices and it was much spicier (my friend's mouth was burning so bad he had to order milk!). The lamb curry was excellent and the lamb itself was very tender and not chewy at all. The second time I visited I was joining some colleagues and had already purchased a burger from nearby... Surprisingly the waiting staff insisted I come in and join my friends! The third time I visited with a group of 18, and the waiters had trouble keeping track of the orders and we ended up missing some naan and rice, but they handled the large group pretty well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant especially of you're looking for Indian food in the Tulsa area!

Holy cow this place is delicious! Our friends are regulars here so I begged them to take me- finally tonight was the night and wow! My husband and I split the chicken kebob and I got korma sauce, rice and naan. The naan was freshly cooked and had a really nice taste to it- I really enjoyed the service and atmosphere as well- it was a nice place to have a nice dinner at. Nice ambiance and intimate- it's hidden in a shopping center. The manager and wait staff treated us very nicely.

India palace is easily the best indian restaurant in tulsa. I have tried most everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. The vindaloo is perfect. It is a bit spicy but worth the burn.

  • Katherine B.

This is my favorite Indian of all time. The buffet is amazing for lunch, but the dinner menu is also extensive and the food is always excellent. I have been to India Palace on dates as well as dinners before school dances, and also for birthday dinners. The atmosphere can be as intimate or communal as you want it to be. The staff is friendly and very accommodating of taste (spiciness level) and food allergies. They will work with you to make sure that you not only eat, but that you eat well. You are treated like family. Go, enjoy your meal and order up some chai. Talk with the owner and staff. And eat some na'an for me.

  • Jane D.

When eating ethnic food, its always good if the restaurant is full of people from the food's country of origin, and this has always been true at India Palace. The staff is excellent ... they always keep my cup of chai full. The food is quite good. I've only been for the lunch buffet so I can't speak on dinner, but the food seems to be of a good quality. The rice pudding and mango custard is amazing. Its hard to save room for it ... but you just must. The only negative is that the buffet never changes ... it is always the exact same. I like to try new things on a buffet, I feel like that is part of the point of it. At least the food is always good.

I've been here a dozen times in the 2 years I've lived in Tulsa. It is ok Indian food, maybe great in the limited market of Tulsa, but compared to other places not wonderful. I do not recommend the soup.

India palace is my favorite place in Tulsa! I've been going here since high school with my big brother and have some great memories. The food is always awesome and has the perfect taste for something out of the ordinary. My favorite is the chicken tikka masala, but getting a little bit of everything at the buffet is my favorite. The naan is addicting too! Love this place!

    (5)
  • Elaine V.

Food is just ok. Tried a few items, bland and boring. We asked for medium spicy. It was more like no heat, but the spices were bland and boring and their "cream sauces" we thick and lumpy with little flavor that's what won't bring me back. Pros - wait staff great, wine choices good.

    (2)
  • Charity R.

Gag! If you are not from Tulsa (like me) and looking for some authentic, non-Midwesternized version of Indian food, this is not the place. On a scale of 1-10, they get a 3. Overpriced, bad service and bad quality. It is a popular place, but am pretty sure most of the other patrons have not had authentic. This place is a McDonalds version of hamburgers.

    (1)
  • Michael S.

Outstanding food with a complexity I can't quite explain. A welcome and comfortable evening with my wife, who also loves these flavors, and we both agree it is among the best we've had in samplings from NYC to SF. Atmosphere is more subdued than many, but with enough of the typical decorations to be reassuring. Staff cared enough to genuinely inquisitive regarding our approval, as opposed to "How's everything tasting?" rote enquiries from the uninvolved. This place is dedicated to food and your enjoyment of it without making that the obvious point. We'd go here again tomorrow if we could.

A friend of mine wanted to return to this restaurant after enjoying it previously so I already knew it was good. Here are a few things I noticed and was appreciative. The waiters were very attentive. The water glass was never less than half full. They also cleared empty dishes away immediately to free up space on the table. The owner of the restaurant came over. He didn't just ask how our meal was, but engaged in a short conversation and also filled our water. It's not often the owner does anything other than walk by at a restaurant. The food also was good and the only thing I would wish for was a bit more spice to the food. However, I understand that I'm a white person in an Indian restaurant in Oklahoma. They don't ask how spicy I want my food and will make it less spicy than I ask anyway. The price was not too high and the portions were not skimpy so I would definitely eat here again.

There's no shortage of buffet in Tulsa. Large folks rejoice. You can go for seconds, thirds, and fourths pretty much anywhere in this town. This place combies Indian cuisine and Tulsa style eatin'. That's right- INDIAN BUFFET. You can't really use the "if there are mostly white people there, it's not authentic" rule, 'cause pretty much every female in this town uses nude-color foundation. They don't even get close to hazelnut. For buffet, it's not bad, and everyone in the restaurant is incredibly polite. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Spinach thing steal the show, and they have Naan with enough butter on it to astroglide a hetero. The tandoori chicken's not bad either, and for 10 buckaroos, it's a steal for lunch. Recommended plus 2 add: protect/shell/haste.

The place needs updating but the service and food was really good. The owner sat us at the table and took our drink order. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and lamb vidaloo and it was fantastic. The rice and naan were also very good, even though I've had better naan. i would definitely recommend this place.

Service was great, but food wasn't outstanding. I had the chicken tikka masala: it was okay. The garlic naan was good, and their combination appetizer was alright. I guess I'm just not a big fan of Indian spices: it definitely takes getting used to. My husband had a dish with curry and definitely wasn't used to the strong spices. He would prefer not to eat Indian food again. He was really disgusted with the men's restroom (hence the low stars). He said the lightswitch and everything was dirty, as if no one had ever stepped in to clean it. Come on, India Palace--get someone to properly clean the place and wipe down the restrooms. A dirty restroom makes you wonder how dirty the kitchen may be...

This restaurant is like the other half of Kolam Restaurant. The chefs are mostly North Indian and they do quite good in making certain North Indian dishes that Kolam gloriously suck at. I vouch for their Punjabi Veggi Dishes cause they know how to do it the best in the city; especially the veggi dishes like the Saag Paneer, Koftas, Veg Masala etc. But when it comes to meat dish Kolam does better. When i eat at Indian palace i feel like the chicken they use to make the tandoori chicken on thier buffet looks like it was malnourished or had polio. The buffet scores high in my books compared to the competition, especially the Mango and the Kheer (rice) puddings. Salam to the chefs for those delights. The Vegetable dishes and Pilaf are an awesome combo to mix around and have. Another good quality is that the restaurant environment is hospitable with an Indian flavor in the designs. Something other Indian restaurants in this city thinks is not a necessity. Kuddos to the partial Bar and the Indian beer collection. I want to give you guys a 4star but my South Indian ego bites.

Middle-of-the-road Indian that would get lost in the crowd in a larger market. The dinner service is smothering; I and my date were visited by four waiters in the space of ten minutes. The prices are as unremarkable as the food. Sometimes the spirit moves you and you must partake of chicken korma or die trying. India Palace is a place that serves chicken korma. Appreciate it for what it is.

My visit to India Palace was not bad. Quick seating (dinner time) and quick service. Chicken Shahi Korma was okay, and not spicy enough. I asked the waiter for an 8 on the spicy level and with a straight face he said I wouldn't be able to handle it. Being that it was my first time there, I thought I listen and stay away from some shit that would possibly make cry. Now that I know better, I'd like to give the place another shot. Hopefully, it's the same waiter so I can show him! Lol

This is a very good Indian restaurant. The initial wait at the entrance was a little chaotic. I assume it was the large birthday party that threw them off. After that things were much better. All of our food was great. Everything was spiced nicely and the ingredients seemed to be very fresh. The rice pudding was a little thicker than I prefer, but still refreshing.

While visiting my sister-in-law we came here since she didn't stop talking about it. I've had Indian food plenty of times all over the place. So I got on my phone and checked to see if there were any reviews for it on Yelp :D, it had a bunch of reviews and was sitting at 4 stars so I gave the go ahead that we could eat there. All I have to say is "wow". I mean really everything about this place was great. Nice quiet setting with dim lights. Actual Indians working there (always a good sign). The service was phenomenal, the owner was constantly going around making sure all the tables were good. Our server was awesome make good suggestions and explained things on the menu that some of us weren't sure about. (Didn't speak English perfectly but it wasn't difficult to understand him) Now let me get to the food. We ordered a lot of it and it all came out timely and cooked perfectly. We got the Raita, Spinich Paratha, Paneer Kulcha and Vegetable Samosas for appetizers. And for our meals we got the Tandoori Chicken, Beef Vindaloo and the Special Pillan Rice. I recommend all of it.

Hmmm, I'm still thinking about the delicious blend of flavors in some of the sauces of the dishes I ate today. I had never heard of India Palace, but some friends of mine and I decided to meet up here. The service was excellent. There was always a waiter nearby to refill my friend's chai tea and the rest of our waters. They often cleared our plates and were very attentive. The lunch buffet is a great deal for $10 or around that. My friend and I are both vegetarian and found numerous options. The black lentil beans were delicious and the vegetables were all fresh with interesting spiced-sauces. The naan was fresh and warm. We stayed forever past the 2:30p lunch buffet time (sorry guys), and they were cool about it. I definitely would like to visit again if I'm in town.

I am bumping you up to 5 stars Indian Palace! Came here last night with a gal pal and we gorged our indulgences in naan, spinach paratha, saag paneer and lamb korma. OMG - everything was hot (temperature), spicy and just so delicious. This was way too much food for two girls, but we ate it all anyways, it was just that damn good. It was my first time trying the lamb korma. It's an almond based sauce with butter and spices. The flavors were rich and nutty, I loved it! The lamb was so moist, fork tender and juicy. Overall a successful dish! And you can't go wrong with saag paneer and naan also. Service was great too!

I love the vegetable korma but also the lamb korma is good if you're a meat person and your belly can handle a very rich meal. The management and staff are very attentive.

I read the great review on the chicken tikka masala but was badly disappointed. Very little chicken and to creamy for my taste. Waiters were nice but when the fifth person asked me if I wanted a refill of my soda then a bit annoying. But better to ask I guess. Apparently impossible to find a good tikka masala in this city.

I'm giving it a 3.75 stars. The food is very tasty. The naan bread is the best. The ambiance is nice and romantic. But I find it annoying when the waiters are trying to be "too nice" they refill your water without even asking you if you want more, for example I would drink 1/4 of the glass and here I see a waiter filling it up again and again so it would be full. It's like can I just sit and enjoy my food.? I have been going here for years but that's the only part we don't like. And it's not only my complaint, but my friends' as well. Other than this it's great.

We discovered this gem four years ago and always come here for dinner when we are in Tulsa. Service is excellent. Our favorite is the Chicken Do Piazza, a flavorful chicken dish with onions. The sauce is so delicious. We also had the shrimp curry on this trip. It was almost a sweet curry - much different than what we get in California. And, of course, no Indian meal is complete without naan. We had the plain naan and it was cooked perfectly. Be sure to have the chai tea. Simply delicious food with great service!

I prefer the buffet, not because it's a huge variety of food, but because it's simply more economical than eating there for dinner. Yes, the dinners are better, but that's almost always the case when you eat a buffet instead of ordering off the menu. That being said, the food on the buffet is always hot, fresh, and there's PLENTY of variety to make yourself a nice plate or three. The flavors are great, and don't even try to tell me it's Americanized, because I've had a lot of Indian food over the years (the Indian community in Tulsa consists of some very nice and friendly people) and while it's not as good as home-made by an Indian person, it's certainly close enough!

Since moving to a town with ZERO Indian options I really miss this place. Best Indian buffet in Tulsa hands down.

India Palace is undoubtably the finest Indian Restaurant in Tulsa. I am not a big fan of Lunch buffets, but this place does a pretty good job. I prefer going here for dinner. My favorite meal is Lamb Vindaloo, basmati, garlic naan, and galub jamun for desert. The service is outstanding, The prices are very reasonable, and parking is usually not a problem.

Great lunch Indian buffet! Lots of selection, including some Indian items I've never tried before. No saag paneer, which is one of my favorites, but they did have its cheeseless cousin. Slightly more expensive than Indian buffets in California, but definitely worth the stop if you are in Tulsa for some reason.

Eat here off and on in the last 10 years. Love the food here. And all so there lunch buffet is a good way to try few of the items they make.

The food is freshly prepared, but it is no where near authentic Indian food. We went there after reading yelp reviews and were really disappointed. It is geared towards serving non-Indian customers. So if you are looking for bland Indian food which has no spices whatsoever, then yes you will enjoy it. For people who like authentic Indian food, I would not recommend it at all.

First time visit, the service was great..the buffet looks small but it is packed with great food! I took a out of towner there and she loved it too...I will be back...the best!!

OMG my husband and I are in love with India Palace. He raved about the beef curry and I can't get enough of the naan and chicken tikka masala!! Very quiet atmosphere, which I love. This is one of our favorite Tulsa restaraunts, no question.

Solid food. Good service and atmosphere. This is a good Indian restaurant and I say that having eaten at authentic places in Flushing, Queens; Hicksville, Long Island; Manhattan and London. I've eaten here 4 times and its quality has been reliable. The cost is fair. I haven't found better Indian food in Tulsa. This restaurant would be decent anywhere. The staff is courteous and attentive. The restaurant is smart enough to cater to American tastes so the spiciness will be mild by default but will ramp it up if you ask.

Very tasty Indian food! A little high at $9.99pp for lunch buffet, however. Rice pudding and mango "custerd" desserts were nothing to write home about. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

Sorry to be the dissenter here with all the 5-star reviews, but I've been to India Palace several times and generally find it to be runny, bland and Americanized. The lunch buffet has a very small number of items on it, so there is minimal variety, which defeats the whole purpose of a buffet. The only times I've enjoyed coming here is when I've been here with an actual Indian person, where practically everything we got was off the menu and done specifically Indian-style. Not recommended unless you have an Indian friend going with you. Go to Desiwok instead.

To be fair, I'm not really much of a spicy food eater to begin with. Though some of the food on buffet here is quite mild, other are indeed quite spicy. Needless to say, I'm very careful with food that holds yellowish tints. My qualm with this restaurant, however, is not the degree of spicy that it is, but rather the small selection and mediocre taste of it all in general. Even my mother who likes spicy wasn't impressed. The service is good, but I don't think I would go there again, especially after eating Indian food from restaurants in Chicago.

I've had Indian food in multiple states, but India Palace is still my favorite. A fair amount of vegetarian and vegan options are listed in their own section on the menu. My meal typically consists of Channa Masala, Samosas, and Puri bread. The traditional Naan bread isn't vegan, but I think Puri might actually be better - because it's fried. This summer I took my grandmother here, she's not much for "ethnic" food but she really liked it too. There's something yummy for everyone.

I don't think their chicken tikka masala is terribly good. Desi wok's is better. I have only been at the time the lunch buffet is available due to the cost of their entrees at dinner time. Sometimes they don't have tikka masala on the buffet, which is sad because that is my favorite. On the plus side, their creamed spinach is the best I've ever had. But I don't generally pick a place to eat based on creamed spinach.

First off, to compare India Palace to DesiWok (negatively might I add) is insulting to India Palace and Indian food itself. I've lived in places all over the world prevalent with authentic (a word people really love to throw around) Indian restaurants, and when I come back to Oklahoma, India Palace is always on the top of my list to eat at. Every dish I've ever ordered has been absolutely delicious and I still say they have the best garlic naan I've ever had.

Considering the lack of any kind of ethnic food ( except "Mexican"-done wrong ) here in Green Country.... , I like this place.

The lunch buffet at this place just isn't good. They offer very few items and they just aren't as flavorful as the items they serve off of the menu for dinner. That being said, I really enjoy eating here for dinner. Even the items that appear on the lunch buffet are just tastier during dinner. I think it may just be a matter of preparing food in bulk for the buffet that results in it not being as good. But for supper- highly recommended.

This place was good, I took a chance based on yelp reviews. Traveling for business I got carryout. The channa masala was good and spicy at medium and the veggie Samsa were pretty good too. My Nan got soggy on the way home but needed a bit less butter anyway. Good choice over the endless chains in Tulsa.

If I could eat lunch at India Palace every day, I would. There's always a great selection of fantastic Indian dishes, and Guldeep, the owner, takes obvious pride in staffing his restaurant with eager-to-please servers. Don't miss the fantastic Chicken Tikka Masala. The only drawback is that it's all too easy to eat to the point of paralysis, so don't forget to save a little room for dessert.

I was very impressed with the food at India Palace. Nice and spicy and big portions. Menu had a huge selection. Very comfortable atmosphere with low lighting and nice decor. And the service was as good as any restaurant I've been in my life. They really aim to please. Too bad it might be the only time I eat there since I was visiting from out of town.
