Always top of the list of my foodfest in t-town! Must have is the Tako salad...yummy octopus, calamari, cucumber, bamboo shoots, in a spicy ponzu sauce. I cannot find this concoction of greatness anywhere else in the country...I always try what I think will be this salad at all my sushi stops but have found like they have here unless you buy it frozen at bodeans. The candy, bok, And id are among a few of my fav rolls. The filet with wasabi mash potato's is outstanding...oh the irony. Seriously better sushi here than in south florida...floridians never believe me. When you got nothing else better to do great food creations is the result in cities like this!

My flirtini was tasty, but so not worth nine bucks. However, the bar atmosphere was pretty fun while we waited to be seated. We sat down next to two middle aged gents who were pretty entertaining. One guy saw the other guy's brother walking toward the restaurant through the window and told us not to scoot over for him, no matter what he said. Apparently all three of these guys are regulars because the bar maid poured the poor guy a vodka on the rocks with a side of. Cranberry juice in a sake glass while he was in the bathroom. The guy awkwardly stood between us and his "friends" for a while before we were called to our table. The whole scenario was quite amusing. The fish lacked flavor and the rainbow roll looked tired. The presentation of the rolls was sub-par. The crab cakes were tasty, but how can you go wrong with a breaded and fried crab patty accompanied by a four sweet and salty sauces?

I heard this is the best sushi in Tulsa but after trying better sushi in other states, this is not even compared. The fish didn't taste fresh.

Worst sushi ever! They have traded quality for style. If you want to look cool while eating sushi, consider in the raw (but you'll get crappy food).

I really would like to give this place 2 or 3 stars since i really like their ITR salad. The thing is if you aren't in the right demographic the waitstaff will overlook you. Three experiences at this particular ITR ...all bad and for mediocre sushi. If you must try In The Raw go to the other one across town where the staff is decent. Otherwise go a few blocks down and get some Fuji. And just remember.. You are eating sushi in Tulsa so don't expect a whole lot no matter where you go.

  • Rebecca F.

Yeah, yeah. Everyone loves ITR. You aren't cool unless you love ITR. Here's the thing- the sushi is fantastic. Like best-in-town good. AND (as if you need more than good food to go out and eat) the patrons are the most hilarious to watch. If you love sitting back and voyeur-ing there is no better place in town. There is always a parade of 20-30 somethings, all gussied up for their big night on Brookside. A lot of sequins, on both girls and guys, a lot of Affliction (see: muscled up dudes boasting a massive amount of gel and pomade) and a lot of flirting. It's freaking awesome.

When I lived here, I would do anything to get me some Tulsa sushi...at In the Raw. But now that I live in California, this place is just okay. There are cheap sushi places in LA that are better than In the Raw. So I give it three stars for being one of the best in Tulsa. Menu recommendations: Id Roll: yumminess with crabcake in the middle, topped I think with seared Tuna. The Dunwell roll is nice, and candy roll is pretty good. I do love the Ginger Salad. I think it is call the ITR salad. I wish I rememebered, I did work here once. :)

love it, but it is kind of loud on the weekends and a little boujie food: both eclectric and traditional rolls. fish tacos are also delicious vibe: cool crowd, young and old, dress to impress decor: modern but still very cozy, beautiful paintings all over the place would go back on a chill night!

So, I finally was dragged here by my hipster friend because Wasabi is closed for renovations, and Fuji closes an hour earlier than ITR. It was definitely an experience. First of all, this place is off-the-charts trendy, and filled with all kinds of frightening people. There were more orange tans, minidresses, soul patches, and douche hair styles than I could count. In short, I felt like I was across the street at Jewel, which is not a pleasant feeling. The wait was long, so we ordered vodka martinis, and paid $17 for two. Wow, ITR, thank you for giving me the first reason to raise an eyebrow. The food was also...not impressive. I am a sushi minimalist, and do not want my sushi to be as calorie-laden as a burger and fries, so I stick to tuna, yellowtail, and salmon maki, usually with some mixed roll that is the house specialty or something. This time, due to $17 martinis, we went for the much cheaper california roll. It was probably the best of the four. In the others, all the fish were tasteless, with the yellowtail being the least mediocre and the salmon being the most. My hipster friend who dragged us here had dynamite shrimp, which is actually a really good appetizer, but is not sushi. This is the only thing I was impressed by, food-wise. Lastly, our waiter was great. He was super attentive, friendly, and never forgot any of our requests. This was the other good thing about ITR. Overall though, we blew tons of cash on mediocre sushi, vodka and water, and some fairly bland seaweed salad. It's unlikely that we'll return here unless every other sushi place in Tulsa tanks.

This place is awesome. If you feel like putting out your vibe to all the local hipsters, then go here. And eat the crab cakes. They are so damn good. I have never had a crab cake that made me say "Those crab cakes are so damn good" but these do.

  • Christine M.

I mean, I do think that I should clarify - this is Tulsa sushi. Not real sushi - Tulsa sushi. What does that mean? Crab cake, fried everything/anything, slathered cream cheese/mayo sauce, etc in most of the rolls. And don't get me wrong... it's tasty. As long as you expect it to be non-traditional Tulsa sushi. I think it's gone downhill. It's always loud, people are rude and service is slow. Frankly, I think it's Tsunami downtown is much better.

Who wanted sushi? I did. What's up now? But wait, I've never been to Tulsa? Holy craptastic batman! Good thing a friend recommended In the Raw to me. While the whole get-up is designed to be a scene, so what? Sushi (in the States) has been a steadily growing trend and since people seem to want to look cool eating it, restaurant owners have been happy to cater to this (and subsequently charge accordingly). All that said the dining area was comfortable with a cozy bar, adequate seating, and a surprisingly quaint patio. Neat. The food was not the best sushi ever but there were some good options. The nirvana roll was good as was the sashimi (albacore and mackerel), all of which I recommend. It was perturbing that they were out of the sea urchin though. The volcano roll was not top quality as in my opinion the scallops were overcooked and the 'sauce' was like a thick mayonnaise. All in all, I would give four stars if it weren't for the lackadaisical service. However, if/when my journeys lead me through Tulsa again, I will give In the Raw another shot... or just be sure to take more than one shot...

Great place, very trendy, nice staff, cute servers.... AVERAGE food and quite pricey for the sushi you're getting. I agree Edamame was awesome and plentiful... The only saving grace was the very cute server! LOL

  • Liz C.

Confused as to why people call this a Hipster joint. Trendy? yes. Hipster? not a chance. This place is douche city. Soul patches and mini-skirts abound. But that's Brookside for you. Having said that, the service was fast even though they were getting slammed. I was immediately seated and served at 7:30 on a Saturday. The sushi was just as good if not better than Yoko Zuna, where I usually go.

When you've spent practically your entire life in Houston and have been spoiled by all the good food to be had there, In the Raw just doesn't cut it. Everyone kept telling me this place is the best when I first moved here, so finally I decided to give it a try. In short, I really feel like this is one of those places you go to see and be seen, and not where you go to get great food. See, I can deal with mediocre sushi when it's cheap, but it's so not worth it here. In fact, I only gave it two stars because our waiter was really friendly and attentive.

    (2)
  • Tai L.

The sushi was definitely not fresh, the tuna and yellow tail sashimi was kind of dry. This place was surprisingly busy. I believe people come here because of the scene. It has "hipster" type atmosphere. The chefs are hot looking women, I would definitely come here for them. I don't recommend coming here for the sushi though. Im sure there are much better places to eat "good" sushi in Tulsa.

  • Raegen S.

One of my top 5 restaurants in the world!!! This was the first place that i ever had sushi so it is very dear to my heart... It is right along brookside in the "heart" of the that part of town... the atmosphere is trendy and defiantly not something you would normally find in Tulsa... Most times there is a wait but it is worth it... Any sushi place can cut a piece of tuna and call it sushi... the good places are able to combine random flavors to make rolls that are to die for... ITR does a wonderful job at this... On the menu you will find a lot of rolls that you have not had before... one of my favorites is the ID roll... this had their signature fried crab cake in the middle with peppered tuna on the top amongst other things... beyond the menu there are still other rolls that you have to ask your server about... the best and most unique roll is called the chimichanga roll... they hate making it and very few people still know how to make it... but if you can talk them into it I recommend it... In closing... ITR is a place to see and be seen.... the food is excellent and they have some great drinks... the staff is very friendly and family like... I am craving it right now...

The reviews here have captured it pretty well. Good sushi but pricey. Great ITR salad to split with someone as an appetizer. Scene-y place to either seek out or feel superior to Tulsa's "beautiful and trendy" who come there. What I can't believe is that no one has mentioned the 6151 roll yet! This roll to me is the epitome and peak of Tulsa-style sushi. Intimidatingly listed as "market price", it has 800 ingredients in it, served warm, with a piece of cooked lobster meat on top of each piece of the roll, doused in a creamy chili sauce to the point where it is unrecognizable as sushi in any other city. Yet, what else could you call it but sushi? In practice this is about $25 per order. Get one and split it with 2 or 4 people. It is absolutely delicious and everyone should get it once--or every time they are on the expense account.

Awesome sushi, awesome atmosphere, awesome service. Best fried rice ever. Fish was fresh, servings were plentiful. Loved the NCAA roll.

  • Carter H.

In The Raw is more concerned about drinks than about sushi. Rolls are small for what you pay. Atmosphere is snooty and not relaxed, it is a more of a to be seen place than a food place. Dont get me wrong it doesnt suck, its just not about the food. Its like a cool hang out and hey here is something to eat that we found.

    (2)
  • Jenny W.

I still love ITR. Always come here with friends for dinner when I'm back in t-town. I'm obsessed with the ITR salad and the spicy rolls. Atmosphere is great...(for Tulsa). They also have a pretty solid wine selection, too.

I give this place 2 stars only because I have lived and visited places that have better sushi. Based off the reviews the people of Tulsa simply have nothing to compare it to other than what is already in the town. It seems as though this is in a trendy area of Tulsa. I wish that we would have been able to to enjoy their outdoor patio but our hostess found it acceptable to sit 5 people at a table meant for 4. If you've ever ordered sushi rolls and enjoy the experience of sharing plates you can understand how this would have been uncomfortable. Wait...if you have ever e restaraunt and had a plate in front of you then you can imagine how uncomfortable this must have been. When I first glanced at the menu I was quite disappointed in the variety of ingredients in the different rolls. It seemed as though they all had the same: cream cheese, cucumber and avacado. These are good ingredients but not in every roll. I was quite disappointed in the fact that we ordered 6 different kind of sushi rolls and they were all rolled in the exacty same size as if off a machine in the back room. I expect this from our local HEB grocery store but not a SUSHI restaurant. There seems to be ZERO creativity. The smoked salmon sushi was simply edible. It appeared as though it was cut using a dull blade from the civil war. I didn't dare order the sashimi simply based off the appearance of the fish in the display and that it was severly over priced. We had several waitresses that tended to us which made it difficult to keep our drinks full. I didn't have the intention of discounting this place so badly but seriously...I can get the same quality at the grocery store. I expected more from an establishment in which their main entree is sushi. It seems as though an investor bought into an idea and a frat boy is trying to gain an edge in a market in which he has only dined but not learned. Raw fish is one thing and having the creativity to pair it with other ingredients is the other. This place has neither. I really hope the people of Tulsa realize that there is better sushi out there and if I had the means, I would prove to them that there is.

The Sushi is good and the rolls are very good. In The Raw is popular for good reason. My issue is with the service. I believe In the Raw is suffering from overpopularity. On two occasions recently we have arrived before 6PM and have seen numerous empty tables. The tables are reserved and it is unlikely you will be seated soon. Arrive before 6PM on Thurs-Sat. Edamame, Green Mussels, and the expensive rolls are good. Some of the lower priced rolls are pretty pedestrian.

Since moving To CA, I have had dreams about In the Raw. I've yet to find a sushi place here that has the variety and TASTE of this place. I prefer Tiger Eye and 6121. The 6121 is not on the menu, but it is INCREDIBLE! The atmosphere is a little Californian...which is another thing I like. The parking is terrible, but you can't have everything, right? I also like their edamame and their chocolate dessert (I forget the name, but is some kind of choco cake....) Wish we had something like this in CA...

Clean. Creative. Flavorful. Eclectic. ITR has everything I look for in a sushi bar. While this local sushi joint doesn't give me the same level of presentation and atmosphere as Nobu or Morimoto, I always get fine service and very fresh sushi. The chefs are quite creative and they offer numerous original combinations. The "Some Like It Hot" roll is a favorite of mine. Certainly my favorite sushi bar in Oklahoma.

  • Emily H.

Used to be my favorite sushi restaurant in Tulsa. But I agree with Christine M. that the service has gotten slower and snottier. And yes, this is Tulsa sushi. That said, there are some really good rolls especially if you know to order off menu. The tuna tataki salad is delicious and if you are not in a sushi mood then the fish tacos are pretty darn yummy but nothing compared to NCT in San Fran--then again, this ain't San Fran!

We're fairly new to Tulsa and still exploring our options. Also, we're major Sushi aficionados and have sought out the best of the best in Hawaii and the SF Bay. This was our first time dining at ITR at the Brookside location. It was for my bday and we were in their early, so it was quiet and uncrowded. We sat at the sushi bar and ordered our favorite nigri selections as well as a spider roll, CA roll and seaweed salad. Everything tasted good and fresh. The service was swell and we prefer this atmosphere over the larger on up on the hill. The portions were generous, especially the heaping bowl of edamame they brought out first. They were warm, which is different for us, we prefer them chilled. Anyway, we will definitely be back, although not often because it is pricey. Guess were still coping with the fact that it's just more expensive to make sushi in the Midwest than it is on the West Coast!

  • Kiernan G.

I liked the décor. The waitstaff and chefs were very nice and fast. That said...that I think is the only thing keeping this from getting a 1. The fish was not tasty. It wasn't that it had gone bad, it just hadn't survived the freezing and unfreezing process well and had no flavor. The roll I ordered was seriously over priced for the quality. The salad came unmixed, very odd for a Kani salad. The shrimp in it was...mediocre. All in all I felt I spent a bunch of money on pretty mediocre food. Not fun. Also odd, my sushi chef was a young American woman who looked like she was in her 20s maybe. Not that Americans can't make sushi, just odd. ----- Note of bias: I am from the East coast. I am used to much fresher fish and a different style. That said, I had sushi in Colorado, and it was fantastic.

Best sushi of your life? Probably not. Best sushi and ambiance you can get for a really reasonable (most rolls under $10) price? Definitely. The atmosphere is hip, trendy, and modern with fun, friendly staff. Service was quick and helpful on the late Saturday night I went with my girlfriends. Really reasonable cocktails as well, so if you're faced with a wait, don't fret - just head to the bar and settle in. Granted, the bar area is quite small, so be ready to rub elbows with your neighbors. The blue crab dip app was pretty tasty and comes with slices of pita bread for dipping. Of the 8 rolls at our table, none of them were necessarily Earth-shattering, but all were good enough for all of us to clean our plates. Several of our roll selections included the Some Like it Hot, Dunwell, New York, Candy, and the Restless Ribbon. All great choices. Some Like it Hot isn't quite as flaming hot as we were expecting, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Definitely far better than I was expecting from a Tulsa sushi joint (that sounds bad, but who really expects great sushi in the midst of oil derricks and tumbleweed - seriously).

This place was always a favorite during high school. Since I was home for the holidays, I figured I better stop buy with some friends. I was so disappointed. It was the worst service I've ever had. We waited for over 45 minutes in that miniscule waiting area they have which means all of us are crowded over the tables by the door. If I were those customers, I'd be mad. The hostess was completely overwhelmed. There were multiple tables open, but no one was being seated so I asked her. They call you if you're on the waiting list. CALL YOU. If you aren't there in that little area, then your table should be given up. Needless to say, we finally got seated then the hostess called us to say our table was ready after we had already ordered drinks. ITR needs to get it together.

My son and I went to In The Raw Sushi for dinner this evening....we chose to sit at the sushi bar. We were promptly greeted by the server......then after that, promptness went out the window. He took forever to come around for anything. The miso soup was lukewarm, the rice was ok. We shared a combo sushi plate.....everything was ok. It took a while to get the bill and I needed change. I was owed $19 and some change and he brought me $11 even. Maybe he thought he would be nice and take his tip out for me. Not cool. I tipped the chef working in front of us...he was friendly.

Not the best sushi in the entire world but its edible. I am partial to some places in OKC but the In the Raw Brookside has really good ambiance not to mention cute service :) Stop in for a cocktail and ask for Angel! She will hook it up! Austin is the bomb.com server there too!

I've never had a bad experience here. I love how their menu incorporates the traditional sushi but also innovative options. I always like to ask the chef to surprise me and have never been disappointed with his creative dishes (they make them look pretty too!). The ambiance is great and service has always been on point. My favorite things to order are Phil's diablo shrimp, the not in the raw combo (california roll, shrimp sushi and crab sushi), and the volcano roll when I want something spicy (deep-fried shrimp, cream cheese, avocado and jalapeno with scallops). I love their patio and when they have live music and their food truck out there. Not sure if there is a schedule one can look up who's playing but it's usually during the weekends.

In the raw has a good vibe. Somewhat small so it can be packed on busy nights. People mention a hipsterish vibe, but honestly these people must not have traveled to Austin or San Francisco in the past few years. Trendy might be a better word. Started with fried goyoza dumplings. Standard but good. Nothing WOW about it, but it was tasty and started things up well. The Volcano roll was pretty much mayo/siracha with scallops poured on sushi. Very overpowering and covers up the taste of scallops, masking one of the main reasons to order this roll. The tempura shrimp roll was stuffed with a large, battered shrimp. It was salty, crispy and had a nice crunch. It's kinda odd to stuff such a good piece of fried shrimp into a more or less standard sushi roll, but it works. I always enjoy eel, and I ordered the Rock and Roll. It was certainly a highlight. A lot of places use an overly sweet sauce with eel. In the Raw did a great job of keeping the focus on the freshness. A great sushi roll. Finally was a pretty average run of the mill, tuna type roll. It wasn't bad, but the next time I want to try a nice piece of fish I'll order it Sashimi/Nagiri style. The bar seating looks pretty fun, you get to look at some pretty pieces of colorful fish and watch the chefs slice and dice up your dinner. We didn't order drinks but I hear they are pretty good. Overall, In the Raw is a good choice for Sushi in Tulsa. Certainly a top choice if you want to eat before/after enjoying some of Tulsa's drinking scene.

If you're a Okie that only eats meat and potatoes, this place is for you. Or maybe you like sushi covered with lots of mayonnaise and sugar that doesn't taste like fish, hang your hats here. I think all the money that went to your overpriced sushi is helping pay for the rental on the building. You can find sushi elsewhere that's cheaper that isn't as heavy on the love handles and focuses more on quality of fish.

I can't tell my sons that my husband took me to this restaurant. They LOVE sushi and would be very upset to know what fabulous food they missed out on. PLUS, a spectacular sunset view!

Best sushi ever! Me and my wife went on our trip to Tulsa a couple weeks ago, and it not only meet our expectations that we've come to enjoy from our experiences with the OKC location, but surpassed them. Delicious fresh sushi prepared perfectly. We ordered quite a few rolls along with some tuna sashimi, and they all rocked! And extra props to our waiter that was amazing and friendly, even after the lunch rush crowd hit. And get the crab cakes! Great location, and a must stop in Tulsa!

  • Blake C.

ITR is alright if you like Americanized sushi, but I'd steer clear if you prefer authentic. I've ordered nigiri and hand rolls from there more than once, and the fish quality is less than satisfactory. I guess the popular rolls that are covered with sauce and cream cheese allow this restaurant to get away with it.

  • Gary M.

They now serve brunch! I got their Maryland Benny. Two garlic butter biscuits, topped with spinach, poached eggs & crab legs with hollandaise sauce. Very savory & tasteful. The biscuits play a major role compared to the crab legs. Everything was well put together & I would recommend it to anyone! Their drink selection stepped up as well. They have $3 (glass) mimosas. Their glasses are a pretty good size as well. You can choose between wine or sake, so why not get the sake! You can also choose between orange, mango, pineapple, pomegranate & cranberry juice. First one I got, was pomegranate, the second one I got, I mixed pineapple & mango. The waiter said the mango was fresh, not canned. I enjoyed both.

I can honestly say their food is great every time I have eaten here, I was pleasantly surprised by their Moscow Mule this visit! It was delish. What really set this visit apart from any other before, was the service. Everyone was attentive but mostly our waiter, Reggie, was amazing. He made this experience one of the best in Tulsa and I wish there were more servers like him in Tulsa!

I brought a group of friends from out of town to in the raw for dinner. We were sat at a corner booth. After sitting at the booth for fifteen minutes we were asked by a friend from high school (who was not our server or the manager) to move so that a group who had supposedly made a reservation that they lost to have our table. The friend from high school stated that the manager may comp some drinks and if not he would. Feeling awkward that my friend may have to comp these drinks we declined. Why did the manager not come over in the first place? Soon the large group of 9 took the opposite booth blocking in my out of town friends. I tried to address the manager after our meal about how awkward the rest of our meal was and all she could say was "I do apologize" like a broken record player. My friends and I left with a terrible in our mouths. I will not be back. Since my terrible experience I have contacted the restaurant hoping to speak to another manager, but no one has returned my call. If you are in Tulsa and looking for good sushi and a great experience I would recommend Yokozuna or zanmai.

For Tulsa (by that I mean land-lock state), the sushi was pretty good. Pretty standard selection but good quality and I liked the cozy but decorative restaurant. They don't have jasmine tea which was a bit of a bummer but we enjoyed the sushi.

I really dig the vibe in this spot. I get tired of so-called "sushi bars" slaving the the frozen fish/japanese decor stereotype. This place is a whole new zip code of awesome. In The Raw doesn't look like a sushi bar, it looks like what a sushi bar would look like if sushi bars were invented in a groovy pad like Austin or Portland. Hips decor that still smacks of Japanese heritage. The sushi is beyond good. Fresh, cool, and expertly crafted. There's little to wait for since they normally have four chefs going at any one time. Do yourself a favor and try the Some Like It Hot roll. Not highly hot, but delicious. The yellowtail nigiri is like a slice of pie made from a mother's love and angel tears.

In The Raw is the best ... when you don't have to foot the bill! I dined on some delectable raw pieces of fish tonight. Order the Ginger Roll (not on the menu) - it's awesome. Some Like it Hot is great too - as is the OMG. This wasn't life changing sushi. My eyes didn't see colors I never knew existed as I bit into my yellowtail. But it was a fun, trendy atmosphere, with good music, great service, and pretty darn good sushi for Oklahoma. I don't know how much it cost because I was with some really great family friends who picked up the bill but I know it's not cheap. You're paying to be seen - it's kind of one of those places. Lots of young, attractive people ;)

The JJ roll.... Laughing, this thing is freaking awesome! You have never had a roll like this before! Ask for the sushi chef Melissa, not only is she beautiful, but she talented and creative!

The food is great, although a bit pricey. If you like to be able to do things like read the menu or talk with the people you are at a table with, you're shit out of luck. Basically, it's too dark and the music is far too loud. But like I said, the designer Sushi is really good! I just order take out because I hate the atmosphere.

Best sushi in Tulsa. I have eaten here many times over the years I have been in this city, and it has always been consistently tasty and fresh. There is a wide variety of options-my favorites are the "Some Like It Hot" the "6151", and the Diablo Shrimp. YUMMY!

    (5)
  • Heather D.

I forget how good their sushi is. Went in with friends and sat in the front corner where they have a pillow palace! It was nice, but some of the pillows are uncomfortable so just find your favorite. WE started with the Diablo Shrimp as an appetizer and it was delicious as always. The sauce is wonderful with just enough spice and there is more than enough sauce for you to dip your shrimp if you don't think it's covered enough like my friend. They had a special of Philly Cheese Steak Eggrolls and we were skeptical to get them (so we didn't), but as we saw them come out of the kitchen they looked so good! The people around us said they were good! Then I had a special Mango Roll. It was the perfect summer roll. It was sweet and spicy at the same time. The sauce they gave me was a little to apple-saucy, but the roll didn't need it! So good! The servers are great and the bar drinks have always been good when I go.

Visited on a Friday night, so it was super busy... However the host really made it happen so that nobody was waiting very long for a table. Food was a little pricey for sushi, but was also really great! Try the 'in the raw' sushi combo for a great sample of what they do here. The full service bar was awesome, lots of cocktail choices for the adults. I'd go again tomorrow night if I could!

My friend and I came here on a Friday night and we were able to get a table right away. We got edamame and 3 rolls and shared them and it was really good. I'm not 100% sure, but I think we got the dunwell roll, rainbow roll and philadephia roll and they were very delicious!

We stopped in for a Sunday brunch, our first visit. The Build-Your-Own-Bloody-Mary got our attention. How nice to have a Bloody prepared just the way you want- delicious! The buffet had two or three sushi choices, salmon, and a made to order omelet. Our server Christian was courteous, prompt, and efficient. Can't wait to visit again!

As far as Tulsa sushi places go this is definatly a top contender. They set the ambiance very well. Its an upscale looking, dim lit place. During the daytime hours they have large windows overlooking brookside. I walked in and it didn't take long to be greated. I was shown to my seat and my waitor came promptly. They have a brunch menu available for sunday afternoons that looked fabulous but I came for sushi. I ordered two rolls. The construction could have been a little better but the ingredients themselves tasted great. my waitor checked in on me from time to time. All in all good sushi, and very good service. I will be going back. Take note though, the weekends are usually very busy here.

ITR has some of the best sushi in Tulsa! I always have great food and a great overall experience. Whether I go in for dinner, lunch, or happy hour I am always a satisfied customer. My favorite dishes are the ITR salad, Spicy Combo, and the Halibut Dinner. The ambience is good and it does not feel like your run of the mill sushi bars. I also have enjoyed that wait staff and have been able to connect with them on more than a waiter-customer level. Very nice people and great food!

I hadn't been to In the Raw before, but since it was my fiance's birthday we decided to give it a shot. Actually we had tried to come here once before but there was a sign saying they were closed for a private party, and there were only like 4 people inside. Anyways, so we had called earlier to try and make a reservation and whoever answered said, "Don't worry about it, you'll be fine." We get their at 6:30 and the hostess informs us that there will be about a 15 minute wait. We kindly let her know what the gentleman on the phone tells us, and she says "We only take reservations for 6." There were four of us in our party. Whatever. While we are waiting, we see a table for four in the bar open up. We let the hostess know that we wouldn't mind sitting at that table. So she and the other hostess talk it over. Then one of them says, "Well, we can seat you at that table, but we have a reservation for 8:00." It was 6:40. Here's where I got irked.... First they tell us they only take reservations for parties of 6, this table is definitely for no more than 4 people. Secondly, it's 6:40! Surely you are not planning on leaving this table without customers for an hour and twenty minutes until this important guest arrives for this particular table! Anyways, they let us sit at this table after we had to assure them that we would be out by 8PM. The server that we had was friendly and attentive. The sushi was pretty good for Tulsa, but just average when you are comparing it to more seaside states. I enjoyed the salmon sashimi. Bottom line: I may give it a second chance, but not anytime soon.

In town on business, someone else was buying - what could be better? My photos of the ID roll I ordered are VERY YELLOW due to the yellow curtains in the window of the corner where we were sitting. The dinner napkins were purple, but looked brown in the yellow light. I thought the waitress was exceptionally helpful, and very pleasant. I found all the sushi to be very good, but I am still partial to Amura's back in Orlando. This was a nice place, and business was beginning to pick up around 8pm. Also a plus - it's right across the street from Shades of Brown Coffee & Art!

Sushi in Tulsa? I admit, I was hesitant, especially when I saw that most of the staff were not Japanese. The nigiri was fresh and tasty. The edamame was good. The beer selection and saki was good. The specialty rolls were plentiful and good. The service was great. The atmosphere was a bit hip. I would definitely come back.

I love this place! And I'm from Cali and had some damn great suchi before. The service is hit or miss but usually quite good. The rolls and the blackened tuna are awesome! I always great some tasty Miso Soup and hot Saki. Go to either the Brookside location if you want a social scene or the one On the Hill if you want to sit outside and chat while looking at a beautiful view of Tulsa.

Came here for a project and the client recommended this as the best in the city. After eating, I have never been more appreciative of NYC! The ambiance was nice, there was outdoor seating and there was someone playing music on the guitar. Had the tako salad, and some rolls. i.e. Id Roll, Oh my Goodness roll, some veggie rolls, spicy scallop, new york roll etc. It may be unfair that I am comparing this establishment to what I am spoiled with in NYC but for the price, this was probably one of the more expensive place I've eaten here at Tulsa but I must say I've had better at St Marks 50% off sushi. The rice was soft, the fish wasn't all that fresh and all I tasted was spicy sauce. The focus seemed to be on spicy and not necessary on the freshness of the fish. I left yearning for my hometown.

I enjoy this place very much. I always sit at the bar and seem to be becoming a recognized face. The sushi chefs are always engaged with their customers and are great at helping decide what to try. I recently asked for something the chef enjoyed, he built us a beautiful roll with his own favorite ingredients and remained close to our budget for the evening. I never thought salsa would be good on a roll but he definitely surprised us. The presentation was beautiful, he spent every effort to make his masterpiece for us. As long as they keep putting that much passion into their job I will keep returning.

Not the best sushi in the entire world but its edible. I am partial to some places in OKC but the In the Raw Brookside has really good ambiance not to mention cute service :) Stop in for a cocktail and ask for Angel! She will hook it up! Austin is the bomb.com server there too!

Best sushi in Tulsa. I have eaten here many times over the years I have been in this city, and it has always been consistently tasty and fresh. There is a wide variety of options-my favorites are the "Some Like It Hot" the "6151", and the Diablo Shrimp. YUMMY!

The food is great, although a bit pricey. If you like to be able to do things like read the menu or talk with the people you are at a table with, you're shit out of luck.

LOL

It is absolutely delicious and everyone should get it once--or every time they are on the expense account.

love it, but it is kind of loud on the weekends and a little boujie food: both eclectric and traditional rolls. fish tacos are also delicious vibe: cool crowd, young and old, dress to impress decor: modern but still very cozy, beautiful paintings all over the place would go back on a chill night!

This place is awesome. If you feel like putting out your vibe to all the local hipsters, then go here. And eat the crab cakes. They are so damn good. I have never had a crab cake that made me say "Those crab cakes are so damn good" but these do.

ITR has great sushi & their edamame is amazing! It is way over priced. You're paying more for atmosphere then food.

I still love ITR. Always come here with friends for dinner when I'm back in t-town. I'm obsessed with the ITR salad and the spicy rolls. Atmosphere is great...(for Tulsa). They also have a pretty solid wine selection, too.
