More accurately, I think Goldie's deserves 3.5 stars. They're above being mediocre, but they aren't exceptional. I had the bacon cheeseburger, cooked medium. The burger came out at the right pinkness, and there was a good beefy flavor and some nice char. The bacon wasn't as crispy as I would have liked it, but that's personal preference. They toasted the bun, so plus for them. The fries were super delicious. They came out hot and crispy with just the right amount of salt. They have a pickle/burger toppings bar, which is pretty awesome because it means I can eat a plateful of bread and butter pickles and dill spears before my burger comes out. The service was good enough. Our waitress checked up on us and did everything efficiently.

The place has some updating and doesn't smell bad anymore. Had a good BBQ cheddar burger. Fries still are like they have been refried, greasy and not very good. Nice people working. Conscientious cook, kept the orders being delivered as soon as they were ready.

Amazing hamburgers! Love, love, love the classic taste and quality all around! HOWEVER, the customer service at this location leaves much to be desired. They left the fries off of two kids orders which were clearly included on the menu. When asked about it, the server said it would cost us extra. When the bill came I asked to have it adjusted and they refused. The server said that it was her mistake and they could give us fries to go. As our meal was already completed, I just wanted the meal discounted. After their refusal again, I just paid the bill. We won't be back, and it's a shame, their burgers were amazing... :(

Have lunch here a couple of times a month. Old location (old IHOP?) across from Utica Square. Charbroiled burgers the same as they have been for years except the prices keep going up. I like the condiments bar for the burgers and also the pickle bar. I always get the cole slaw instead of fries. Fries have a weird pineapple taste to them. Cheeseburger, cole slaw and coke is $10.37. Service is usually good

Lots of frozen concession stand/school cafeteria food, but apparently locals love it. Didn't see a patio at this location. Service was fine.

Read that this place has good burgers....terrible! I ordered a medium well cheeseburger and it came almost rare...hope I don't get sick from undercooked meat tonight. Cheese was hardly even melted and the burger was SO salty I could hardly eat it. Fries were greasy frozen hard crispy and barely eatable. Sweet tea was fine but the waiter asked me every time if I wanted it refilled...dah,it's only 90 degrees outside and I completely emptied the glass...Yes, thank you please. They had the TV on showing RIVER MONSTERS gutting and batting fish...how appetizing! To make the dinner complete several nearby table were left uncleared for our whole meal...don't you just love seeing dirty plates with half eaten food next to you from prior diners? Another one bites the dust!
