My all-time favorite burger. Not sure what they do to make them so delicious but Goldie's has been serving up the best burgers for as long as I can remember. I've missed them terribly for the past seven years I've been in D.C. and Minnesota. There's nothing like a rare bacon cheeseburger from Goldie's. So juicy and RARE (the only way to get a burger, Goldie's or elsewhere). Although I have to confess, sometimes the patty is still practically mooing. As much as I pride myself on loving a good old fashioned, rare hamburger, I'll sometimes go medium-rare here. Also, ever since I was little kid, I've loved how they put out a basket of complimentary crackers at all of the tables. I think they're supposed to be for soups but Goldie's can always count on me to kill at least half of them, soup or no soup. Never change, Goldie's, never change.

Killer burger. Absolutely delicious! I just ate "the best burger on Houston" (Listos) earlier this summer, and that was garbage compared to this! Marlene insisted that we: 1) try the Cole slaw. Not bad. Only slaw I've ever had more than one bite of. 2) get the burgers medium rare. I was a little uncomfortable, but what the heck. 3) take a bite of the burgers before "fixing them up". I ended up bypassing all condiments and fixins, going with just the meat, bun, mushrooms, and cheese. Wonderful. Wish I lived in OK... Almost =)

The best burger in Tulsa for my money! Nothing beats a Goldie's special w/cheese, fries, an ice tea, and a big ole bowl of dill pickles! Been coming here since I was a little kid and never had a bad experience. Great food, friendly and professional staff, they've been around for decades and they've been successful for a reason. The chicken fried steak is also good here, but the burgers are where it's at!

Goldies, is an institution around Tulsa, and this location is the original. The pickle bar is pure nostalgia. Mix the spears and the bread 'n' butter for a special flavor, or better yet order their fried pickles. Excellent. They must make their own ranch dressing, because the dip served with the pickles is nothing short of terrific.....and it makes a good dip for the fries too. There's something about their beef...and the seasoning, that is just unmatched. You will never have a burger exactly like this anywhere else. An expert at fooling myself into thinking I'm eating a healthy meal, I sometimes order a salad for my side with a Goldies special.....rare, and sometimes ditch half the bun. No doubt I save a lot of calories with minimal effort. LOL PS Ask for Marlene....she's been there forever and ever and she will take great care of you.

Another one of Goldberg's favorites so, after having hotdogs at Coney Island, we drove over to Goldie's and the food binging continued! The hamburger was amazing. Not sure how or why, but it was one of the best burgers I've tasted and the setting was just like the place had ben thee...forever!

The road work is done!!! (Has been for about six months) I Had a late lunch here on 2/4/15. I very much enjoyed the food. I had a bacon cheddar burger, and it was cooked as ordered. The waitress was attentive and kept my iced tea full. The order cam quickly and was hot from the kitchen. I enjoyed looking over the signs and memorabilia on the walls. The only reason I knocked it down a star is it needs an update; some painting in the interior and a cleaning of the fans and vents. I will be back to Goldie's!

One of Tulsa's comfort places. No matter how long since your last visit, when you return, it like going back to an old friends place. Naturally some things change, but when Goldies changes anything it is always for the good. Same high quality burgers that has been a mainstay of Tulsa's food scene for generations. OK, maybe not a lot of generations, but a much better place to take the grandkids and kids than the clown place, How can you even think of eating a burger without PICKLES and when you think of pickles, you always think of Goldies. Besides, where else can you get a burger that actually IS rare or medium rare? THE place where the customer is always right and political correctness in banned. Everything is always super fresh and extremely flavorful. I highly suggest the Angle Fire, but have to flip a coin as to whether to get the cole slaw or fries with ranch dressing{a VERY guilty pleasure}. Deserts look good, but my desert is still THE pickle bar. Great for families or couples , or even just for a singular indulgence. There IS a reason that they have been around for so long, so go and see for yourself.

Best hamburger in the country! Will drive 200 miles out of my way to swing thru to this Tulsa original! Don't miss the pickle bar and the cole slaw!

Goldie's and I are the same age and I have been coming here since I was able to eat cheeseburgers. Visiting Tulsa everyone in our family makes it part of the trip to visit the original Goldie's for a Goldie's Special and hit the pickle bar. Goldie's has many families that have grown up with their burgers, and there is a reason, they are just damn good!

IMHO, one of the best hamburgers in the country! I am biased, however, since my family has been eating at this Goldies since the 60s! I grew up eating Goldies' burgers. So, every time I get back to Tulsa, Goldies is the at the top of my list. There's really nothing special about Goldies. The decor is dated, as is the menu. But the food has not changed in 50 years! The burgers have a distinct seasoning that I have never found anywhere else. The coleslaw is peppery and sweet and the pickle bar is excellent. And, the onion rings are fresh and delicious.

Ladies and Gentlemen... The ole' song goes "Get your kicks on Route 66" and folks, folks, folks... step right up and wrap your chompers around what I believe is one of the best damned burgers in America!! Goldie's does have other locations I have visited (in Fayetteville, Arkansas or Muskogee and the now closed location in Tahlequah) but there is something special about the Lewis Street location. It is here where the owners of this establishment located in the heart of Native America Oklahoma have worked, cooked, and brought their stomp dance burger cookin' mojo to the grill of this place. Goldie's has some history and there is no telling the folks who have rolled through this place on their way to California or Vegas along Route 66 over the years and the place just has a "feel to it". If there are ghosts here then they are friendly spirits caught here and unable to pass to the other side as they wait for their food order. I grieve for those poor souls, but.. the good news though is that if you are still among the living..you can stop in here and order a burger cooked about any way you can imagine. Another special thing about this place is that you can have your burger cooked like you would a steak. Medium-rare, medium, well-done, etc. I always take mine medium-rare. The burgers here are seasoned to some secret perfection and the beef is tender and juicy. NOW.. if you are squeemish about eating more rare meat, at least stretch a little and don't make them cook the beef beyond medium! I suggest you take a semi-pink center in the delicious beef burger patty because that is the artistry of the burger here. Don't make them cook your burger well done and then say something stupid like "I have had better burgers at a fast food chain". That kind of review will just make you look stupid to those of us who know better. This is a no frills hamburger place but they take their craft seriously. There are other things on the menu including a garden burger for vegetarians and the fries are cooked up fresh and hot with every order. They even have a PICKLE BAR for appetizer which has sweet pickles and dills and crackers and chips and salsa. ORDER IT. They are merciful to put this here because it is torture to come into this place hungry and smell the amazing aroma of these burgers being cooked ! My pick of the litter would be the DOUBLE Angel Fire Special ! This heaven sent burger (as the name would invoke) has cheddar cheese and a skinned green chili pepper between the layers and on top. It is served with a dash of picante sauce and if you order the double you will need a fork and knife to eat it.. OK. I don't because I am a savage but ..it is that big!! Order some fries and even a side bowl of their chili. Add a cold pitcher of beer and you have got it made ! If heaven doesn't have a place like this then I just can't imagine it being heaven! Take an extra hour of time out of your busy schedule or travel itinerary to make this place a stop. You will be glad you did. BTW: the cobbler with a scoop of ice cream is awesome too!

I was in town for the holidays and wanted to take my husband to try a Goldie's burger. My mom said there had been an article in the paper that business on Lewis had been slow due to construction. I'm guessing business is slow due to poor customer service and a dirty restaurant. Only a couple of tables were taken when we came in but the hostess still said she needed to see what was available and disappeared. Ten plus minutes later she comes back and says she had to clean a table for us and seats us (90% of the restaurant is open). My niece starts coughing and hostess says waiter will be right with us. Another 10 minutes goes by with no one coming over. There are only about three tables of customers in the place. It's before 7 so not even close to closing time. I see a waiter bussing a table and a waitress sitting at a table talking to her customers. Finally, after several more minutes (we are timing now) we get up and start walking out and waiter comes over as we are going to door and says he was serving food so couldn't get right out (20 minutes??). As we are leaving the hostess is standing around chatting too. Dirty tables...dirty floor...no service. We left.

I ate here the other day. I would say stick with the classics at Goldie's. I used to get some exotic burgers and decided just to stick to the classic Goldie's special with cheese. You can't go wrong, with a little ketchup, the taste of the spices come out in every bite.

Great Burgers & Pickles, thousands of pickles in all flavors. Goldie's is a chain of local burger restaurants, but I have dined at this location many times while driving on I-44 through Tulsa.

Well past it's prime. Frankly, I rather eat at Wendy's
