Not worth the wait. My wife and I dropped in at 12:40 on a Thursday afternoon for lunch. The employee taking orders took the group of 3 in front of us and then informed us he had an online order to fill. How long could it take? Over 20 minutes later we were still waiting as the lone employee made meals for the online order and another did something other than help or take our order, so we left. Probably will be the last time we got to Dickey's with other BBQ selections in the immediate area.

Pros: I just fed a family of 4 for $20! Kids eat free Sunday, great deal. The kiddos got ribs meals. The Mac & cheese, bbq baked beans, and coleslaw here were fantastic. I was happy with my choice (pulled pork w/onion tanglers on a fully loaded potato). Fiancé and his brothers got BBQ plates. Good for large groups. The manager here was quick to respond when the drink machine was out of ice and the dispenser was low on ketchup. I mean he was actually rushing/running to correct things. Plus, we didn't even tell him about the issues; he just heard us talking about it. Short line for order at counter service, accepts credit cards, plenty of parking. Friendly employees and super efficient manager. I even heard the manager thanking an employee from the Broken Arrow location for coming to help out for the day. So he's also a pretty nice guy. We will all definitely be back. Cons: I thought the food was good, but my fiancé says I was predisposed to like it since this is a Texas chain and I grew up eating Texas style bbq.

I am really surprised this place is still open. Went there for lunch today. They were out of every other item that my guest and I tried to order. Even after dealing with all of that and settling on the order, it was wrong. The food has no flavor and was really disgusting. I meant to take a picture of the potato salad, it looked like wallpaper paste. The place just looks unsanitary and disorganized. And not cheap, a dinner and a sandwich was almost $25. Why oh why didn't i look at yelp before going in there? Surely a waste of time to review this because they won't still be open by the time any yelp reader might stumble in.

Borderline unsanitary! Dickey's regional management please read on as I am sure that what we experienced is NOT how you want your business run. We had been coming to Dickey's on Yale for over 2 years. While we have been experiencing deteriorating quality, tonight's experience has been the worst. The date is March 27, 2015 at 7:45pm. I give the specific date/time of the event in case the manager wants to check to see which 2 employees were working on that shift. Not only were they out of several items, which has happened to us periodically, the items they did have were in poor quality. The sausage casing on the spicy cheddar sausage had a slight green tinge to them and the barbecue beans looked like they had been sitting on a hot plate for days. But, the absolutely worst experience was the rolls. First of all, they were out of the rolls and instead of offering to make some (which was what some of the more engaged employees would kindly offer in the past) the gentlemen in the yellow Dickey's T-shirt simply stated "We're out." I asked for him make some, which he reluctantly did after stepping outside for a cigarette break. I have posted a picture of the "moldy looking rolls" we received. Not only was the food quality suffering the trash cans were stacked with trash and several tables had not been wiped down in a while and had spilled food. Also, the air conditioning was set to freeze out all the customers so that the employees could break everything down to be able to leave early. We will ABSOLUTELY, NEVER RETURN to this location.

I ate lunch here once before but I supposed I forgot how sub par it is. The pork was ok. The waffle fries were undercooked and the bbq beans were a step above a can of pork and beans. I won't go back anytime soon.

Over the past year or so I've given this restaurant 7 tries. The first time it was great, friendly employees, decent food, and fast service. Unfortunately that was the only time I left happy. Every time I have been in they are out of many items, at any time of day. They RARELY have many of the items from the menu available. The last time I went near 2 hours before closing time. They only had 2 meats available. They were also out of most of there sides, the place smelled like a sewer and the service was sub-par. I have enjoyed Dickey's restaurants in other cities, but will not be returning to this location.

Service is bad. Pulled pork was disgusting. They were out of fries and okra while the ice cream machine was also out of order. All of this before noon on a Thursday.

My family met there the evening of August 12th. We were the only other table in the restaurant when we arrived. Besides the fact that they were out of half of their menu items (literally), the place was a mess- highchairs were filthy, the bathroom was without soap, utensils were not stocked, etc. One of the two young employees running the place had a large, exposed scab which should definitely have been bandaged while working in a food place. These two employees obviously do not take their jobs seriously. The food is fast-food BBQ, so that should give you an idea of the food quality.

Terrible and tasteless. Not even a hint of smoke on anything, friendly people, but doesn't make up for the lousy food. A McRib is better BBQ.

Not impressed. Sloooowww service. Ran out of meat. Huge buns, little meat. Ran out of ice cream cones for the free ice cream . . . but they gave us a cup and the ice cream was the tastiest part of the entire meal.

If I could give them zero I would. This place is horrible. We got overcharged and they didnt give us all our food. The Dickeys in Texas are open buffet style and hot and fresh. When we walked in we placed our order but they served everything. The sides were given in tiny styrofoam cups, not very good quantity. They forgot to give my sons chips with his kids meal and they even overcharged us! The food was not good, my meat was dry and tasteless, and for $12 per combo they don't even include a drink! My husbands fries were cold and hard, and he barely got 5 fries, i went back and complained and they remade us some more. This is the opposite in Texas where everything is included and it's open for you to take as much as you want. Oh! And there is noooo condiments bar area like they have in texas! This is one of the best things about dickeys and they dont have it! I can see why this place is never busy, I am sure they will not last very long. Don't waste your money here!

I found this place to be a bit sub-par... Okay, it totally sucked. Even if we're only talking fast food bbq. The employees were not very helpful not to mention the young man working the register (handling money as well as his greasy hair) used his unwashed, ungloved hands to put my pickle and onion with my sandwich. I work with food daily so I'm very keen to when someone is handling my food improperly. You're not sneaky and I'm not stupid. But anyways I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese and okra. The pork was mediocre, the bun was stale and the only saving grace for this poor, sad sandwich was the hot bbq sauce.. The okra was freshly fried and delicious but the mac and cheese was an atrocity. It had been sitting for so long at such a high temperature that you could barely tell what was cheese and what was noodle. Mushier than baby food one might say... And last but definitely not least, the ice cream machine, the one thing they advertise as a "special offer" on this very website, is out of order. It's 105 outside and i just ate this shi**y meal and you can't give me the free ice cream that I was promised?! I am so done with you dickey.

Good brisket sandwiches, which is what I always get if I go there now. I prefer Billy Sims for pulled pork. I've only had the ribs once and they were as tough as boot leather. If you advertise something as "fall off the bone" tender, I shouldn't end up throwing half the meat away because I was sick of trying to chew at it. Staff is always polite and friendly. And you're in and out quickly.

Love Dickey's! Ate here Sunday. Just tried the Pei Wei Asian Diner across the parking lot. Wish I would have come back to Dickey's. Look forward to eating here whenever traveling to midwest. If BBQ is your thing, give Dickey's a ring!

Was the top rated BBQ open late on a Monday night. Small store off road inside parking lot of strip mall. They have limited seating, but I ordered to go. Had an Excellent BBQ sandwich. I got there late and they still had a full stock of food. Staff was quick and helpful. They have a lot of sides to offer and have package deals to offer a lot of food for a decent price.

Horrible. Ribs were so salty could not eat them. When I complained, they said that that was the way they came. I doubt anyone even tasted them, before or after I complained. The sides were okay, nothing great.

Wide selection of smoked meats and side items. I especially liked the baked potato casserole. It tastes like a loaded baked potato! I also had the spicy cheddar sausage; it was both spicy and very cheesy. Think of Billy Sim's hot links but with more cheese. Good stuff! Very friendly staff. The place is very clean and the decor is kind of a country style. They have free pickles and ice cream!

Pretty Good... Fast Casual BBQ, I got the 2 Meat Plate, with Pulled Pork & Spicy Cheddar Sausage. Sides were Baked Potato Casserole & Fried Onion Tanglers. Pulled pork was really good, loved their BBQ sauce, the baked potato casserole was great! Not a big fan of the sausage (that's what she said). They have free ice cream when you Dine-in, I made me a root beer float. Lot of food for $10 bucks, good value... Especially since my brother paid, lol. 3 outta 5 stars on the Munkey Scale.

Cafeteria like food. The pulled pork was mushy and flavorless. The bun was almost stale. The BBQ beans were ok if you dumped a bunch of BBQ sauce in them. The waffle fries were actually really good, but not enough to save the rest of a dismal meal.

This was our first time at Dickey's. Not the best, but not the worst. It's a pretty good value for what you get, but the quality of food is not great. I ordered a pulled pork hoagie that came with pickles and onions. The meat was dry even with the BBQ sauce. The baked beans tasted alright, but they were soupy and didn't have any bacon in it as advertised. The potato salad was deep yellow, but tasted fine otherwise. The staff always greeted everyone when they walked in so that was nice. I would have to give them an overall rating of 2.5. Probably wouldn't come back unless someone else wanted to go.
